1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN-ICO]💖 DATECOIN 💖🔥THE FASTEST SUCCESSFUL MATCH. THE HOTTEST ICO EVER.🔥💖 on: December 05, 2017, 07:13:06 PM
This is really ? DateCoin gives DTC holders an opportunity to sell their tokens with the buyback program. Starting from the fourth quarter of 2018, they plan to spend up to 20% of the project revenue for token buyback monthly...

As far as I know from reading the Whitepaper they actually do. The buyback program is a nice way to incentivice investors to buy Datecoin, because it gives them an extra security for their investment. I think that it a really nice idea of the Datecoin team.
I really think that this coin has potential as Datecoin is building its project on an existing app and already has a userbase. Unlike most other dating projects you have a huge advantage by this. If you would have to build a userbase first it would be way harder to be successful in this highly competitive market.
Can you explain to me how these intelligent algorithms will work in your app?
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: BTCMoon Airdrop on: December 05, 2017, 07:07:27 PM
Seems like a interesting Concept. Price retraced significantly, thinking in buying some of this erc20 token. What was the ICO price, does anyone here knows?

I think there was no ICO for this one. As far as I know there was only an airdrop but it closed already and was distributed. Actually I dont understand the hype around this coin, can somebody explain it to me?
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHA-256D] PETRODOLLAR (P$): BIG OIL COMES TO CRYPTO on: December 05, 2017, 07:05:42 PM
Petrodollar is listed on coinmarketcap under XPD if Im not mistaken? That is a damn huge increase in price as I see on Coinmarketcap. Is there a reason for this huge spike? Really wonder why this happened this fast.
1264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (Exchange launch - November, 1) on: December 05, 2017, 06:09:13 PM
As I am reading here that some people dont even need to read whitepapers, let me give a valuable advice for every investment one does: always and ever read as much as you can about your investment before you put your money in it. No matter what investment that might be. Knowledge is power and reading creates knowledge, therefore READ! I cant believe how blindly people nowadays throw their money around, only because they are too lazy to read.
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave - Decentralized Search ★ November 29 ICO ★ on: December 05, 2017, 05:59:12 PM
Google competitor? Precisely the hype. It is exciting to watch how Bitclave will tackle their biggest competitor. Will they even outperform Bing? - with the added hype of being blockchain-based.

Definitely the hype. However hype can create change. I am very curious what Bitclave will be able to achieve. I think they should easily be able to beat bing, this search engine is a joke if you ask me. To surpass google could be a rivality for years if not decades though.
1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta - Decentralized Token Exchange on: December 05, 2017, 05:52:31 PM
I'm sure it is an internal problem at etherdelta, there are many people complaining that they cant do any trades there. I did try to deposit a token yesterday, but still not completed till now and it is disappeared. I tried to deposit other tokens but it fails, it says that I dont have enough balance for the gas while I'm very sure my eth is more than enough.

Maybe you are right, I see that many people are encountering the same problem. I can only say that for me everything works really good with etherdelta. The site is only sometimes a bit laggy, but deposit and withdrawal works for me as usual.
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] [KMC] KemCredit- Shield Of Shared Prosperity on: December 05, 2017, 05:46:52 PM
Why did some people get the airdrop and I didnt get it eventhough I registered on the website? Something went wrong with the distribution or is the distribution simply not over yet? But as I read on the telegram chat (yes I also joined both the announcement TG channel and the TG group), it already is over. Would appreciate an answer.
Most people that participated on our first airdrop bounty used multiple accounts and most refused to join our telegram community to be verified so we decided to combine the first airdrop .bounty with the social media bounty so if you pass through all the processes in the social media bounty you would receive 400KMC

Oh I see, thanks for the answer. However I think that is rubbish, because I did not sign up with multiple accounts or something and I did join both tg channels right after signing up. I dont use any social media and therefore I wont be able to participate here. I hate when people start changing the rules after they were set. If you want I can verify my data that I signed up with, if that is not possible, I guess thats it then for me.
1268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: December 05, 2017, 04:55:40 PM
I think the countries that ban Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are scared of loosing control over peoples money and therefore try to ban it. But what they dont understand is, that banning Crypto only leads them to misfortune and disadvantages over other countries that embrace the newly evolving technological developments. The countries that try to prevent this evolution of the financial sector from happening are backwarded and will sooner or later realize that they made a big mistake with their course.
1269  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin services trustable? on: December 05, 2017, 04:51:25 PM
What kind of bitcoin service are you reffering to? I think you should specify your question more. There are Bitcoin services for almost anything you can imagine. If you are referring to buying BTC and selling BTC, then you should buy at a high rated big exchange. I would in general be very careful and dont trust people lightly. Rather be suspicious and if you have a bad feeling about something, dont do it. There are a lot of scams in this space, as its still not regulated and is a paradise for scammers.
1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CrowdMachine - The Worlds Most Advanced Distributed Computer on: December 05, 2017, 04:42:44 PM
CrowdMachine does sound really compelling to me if there will be delivered whats planned. An easy access solution for businesses and everyone else to create dapps and smart contracts sounds great. Cant wait to test the features. When will we be able to see a MVP?
1271  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Would You Explain Bitcoin to a Newbie? on: December 05, 2017, 04:01:30 PM
I always explain Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies by explaining what the blockchain is. In general I do that with the example of a phone book. A distributed ledger, as the blockchain is, is like a public phonebook (register) where everyone has the same copy of, if anyone makes a change in it, everybody has to verify the change. Its hard to explain this in english to me. In my language I can explain it pretty good I think, and most of the time people understand it after I explained it to them.
1272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ? on: December 05, 2017, 03:56:46 PM
I think we have to watch out for several factors that could have influences on Bitcoin in the future: how the governments will handle it, how society further adopts it, how Bitcoin evolves itself to scale better. There is much more I guess. What I was thinking lately about was, if Bitcoin keeps rising like this and mining therefore will become even more lucrative for the miners, many people will want to jump on the train and if everyone does that, than there will be too much electricity used for mining. I think this can be a real thread for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies overall, because I guess no government will be just watching and do nothing if this scenario becomes real, they will find ways to prevent this. Maybe I didnt thought this through the right way,if so please correct me.
1273  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is it possible to use bitcoin like offline currency? on: December 05, 2017, 03:51:48 PM
As far as I know one is able to create a transaction offline, but to get the transaction verified and on the blockchain you need miners that are connected to the internet. I think the whole idea of blockchain currencies is depending on the internet, otherwise there cant be a distributed ledger, if everyone has his own offline ledger, that would make no sense. Then we could also start writing transactions with pencil and paper, but noone would be able to verify if they are legit or not, because nobody is connected to each other.
1274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: December 05, 2017, 03:45:49 PM
There are hundreds of Altcoins, but it's highly likely that most of them will cease to exist one day. Only the stronger coins will be needed.
Most probably coins like Ethereum, IOTA and Ripple are the most favourable Altcoins of the future.

That will certainly be the case, but I would change your list slightly. For the alts with most potential are: ETH, EOS, IOTA, maybe ARDR and ADA. I think those coins are still in their early development phases and will likely have a long journey in front of them. We will see a lot of coins die in the coming two years thats for sure.
1275  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: December 05, 2017, 03:40:11 PM
Since the first, I do not at all believe with the theory of evolution. as a religious person, I remain convinced that the human was created from soil.

How do you sleep at night after dropping statements like those? You are basically saying you don't want to believe in science and you would rather believe that we came from soil. How is that more believable than evolution?

Ahahaha okay, I just posted the comment above because that is my overall opinion regarding topics like this being discussed in the forum, but this made me laugh hard. Seriously dude: how can you sleep at night while believing this rather than being an evolution of blood and flesh?
1276  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: December 05, 2017, 03:37:22 PM
Is this forum really the right place to discuss such topics? In my opinion its not. There are so many different opinions, religions and ethnicities coming together here and of course there are opinions coliding. I think such things should be settled out inside yourself by each and everyone, for himself. No need to try to convince others of your opinion. Just my 2 cents.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: December 05, 2017, 03:26:14 PM
This platform is a darkhorse. Ardor slowly inches its way to realization of Blockchain-as-a-Service platform. In the future its compatibility with ERC20 tokens will have a leverage over other platforms that is offering BaaS.

Agreed. Ardor will be THE blockchain-as-a-service platform, at least thats what I believe! I didnt know so far that there is ERC20 compatability planned. Do you know for when this feature is planned? This definitely would raise awareness for Ardor, would be a unique feature.

1279  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2017, 02:40:42 PM
I usually put my earnings from Bitcoin in other cryptocurrencies. I like to have a widespread portfolio that will hopefully prosper in the future. In my opinion there are too many projects that are promising, I have to limit myself not to buy too many alts.
1280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: December 05, 2017, 02:37:11 PM
Is the news about legal case in UK true?

I actually also asked about that here yesterday but nobody answered me. Im pretty interested to hear some news about that. Would be happy if anyone with insights could answer.

Note that im not invested in BCC, just to make that clear. Im just following how things evolve around this project.
