Hmmm, I just downloaded the zipfile from Github and tried to sync the blockchain with the daeond file, but it doesnt work. I think its not even starting to sync properly. Do I have to do anything upfront to make this work? Is there a dedicated telegram channel for AEON? Thanks in advance!

You need to be more specific about how it doesn't work in order to get any help. Post a log or a screenshot. Usually aeond should work by simply executing it without any options. There's an IRC channel #aeon on freenode which is relayed to Slack (together with some other Monero channels). The wallet can send and receive OK. I don't know what issue Sm00thIy is referring to.

Well, it all depends on whether you consider the BTC or USD price of alts. For USD price, alts are not doing very bad, some of them actually gained quite a lot. For BTC price, however, it will take quite a while until alts will catch up to the fast increase of BTC price in the past fer months.
Thats right! I only look at the BTC price, because looking at the USD price when the coin isnt traded against USD makes no sense. You can do this for coins that are traded against USD though. My gut feeling is that the general bearmarket for alts will continue some more time, but eventually alts will rise again! The good ones at least, there will also many scams and shitcoins be dying! |

You have been doing a nice work out there, but why waves? i would never put all my funds in there because i dont trust in that project.
I had some waves in the past, and i bought more than 200 when the price was upto $6 each waves, unfortunately, the price started to go down and i sell all of them at $5,50, i was lucky because one month after that the price came below $3,30 each waves.
It was a bad situation for all of us, it is good to see that it is slowly recovering, but be careful because waves can make you lose all your money in just a few days.
I dont think that you can blame WAVES for this. You can loose all your money with every coin in just a matter of few days. Even with bitcoin. As you bought waves at a very high price, you expected it to go up, but it didnt so you took an emergency exit (good move by you). But Waves platform has nothing to do with the price. Would you also think that NEO is not good if you bought yesterday at ~0.0060 BTC when the pump happened and today it dips again at around 0.0045 BTC... So see for yourself. Not the coins fault when people buy it high, the market sets the price, not the Project itself. Sorry for the double post. |

Exactly my point of view. Coding is already very high in demand and experts are scarce. The demand is growing also faster than new coders are properly educated. Try to invest some amount of money in some ICOs. Now is better to search one with not bad team and with low hardcap. One of them you can find in my signature. But not invest all in 1 place. Think twice.
I would suggest you definitely NOT to do this. In general the tips from Depradtion are ok, but at this time and as you being a newbie, I would stick to coins that have proven themselves in a way. ICO's carry a much higher risk, you maybe endup with 500$ or less within days after the ICO hits the exchanges. If you are truly interested in an ICO, do proper research and my suggestion would than be to wait for it to hit the exchanges, so you can most likely buy it cheaper than you could at the ICO. |

As of now, the investment in TNT does not really pay off. I hope that it will become a successful project that achieves their goals and therefore lets the price rise. I am happy that development seems underway though, lets see what the future holds for tierion.

The reason payouts find yourself in trouble happens because the dev of the coin hasn't released any updated to repair the wallet "caught" problem like cash such at BCN and MRO he done.Around the swimming pools, when the daemon car saves, the pocket book times out and then will get Inchstuck," causing payouts to get caught before the pocket book is resynced.This can be a recognized problem, and was a known problem with other coins too, and the dev's for all those other cash have fixed this issue.I've informed the dev for Aeon of the issue along with the fix, publicly on this thread, but I have yet to see an update to fix it. Hopefully there is was soon. For now, like I stated several articles up, I simply got back to my computer and I will undergo and connect all impending repayments soon, should go out within the next hr.av
I just found out about AEON and was happy to have found it and wanted to invest, but there is a problem with the wallet that is not fixed yet am I understanding correctly? I dont understand all the tech talk, so please elaborate to me in plain words: when I buy AEON now, will I be able to transfer them from the exchange to a safe wallet and hold them there and eventually send them out again? Can someone maybe explain me how a ERC20 token will be able to have the lowest transaction fees in the market? I am just wondering because erc20 tokens are running on top of the ethereum blockchain, so their transactions are included in the ethereum blocks and therefore should be just as fast as any other ethereum transaction, am I right? Is BTC2x planning to create its own blockchain in the future? Please tell me if I completely misunderstood something of the concept. Looking forward to the second airdrop! I will be waiting for the announcement!

Glad to help you get some clarity mowgs to max. Another idea is to hop into the Telegram and ask for some guidance on there.
Ask if any admins are around and tell them you're new to crypto, that you bought POWR over at Bittrex and wanted to send to MEW, but used the contract address found on ethplorer.io
They may halp fast track a resolution.
Ok just in case you didnt know heres a few more tips...
1. When logging into myetherwallet, never Google myetherwallet beforehand. There are multiple clone/phishing websites that look almost identical to myetherwallet.com Also, scammers use google adwords and bots to rank higher for a search response. So even though its at the top of the list it doesn't mean you're going to the website you want to.
2. Try make a word document that is filled with url addresses of the exchanges you use. Copy from that list of your exchanges into your browser directly.
3. If you're looking for the url of an exchange, use a direct link from an admin pinned msg in Telegram. Alternatively, go to coinmarketcap.com, look for whichever token it is, click on 'markets' and find the exchange url. Copy and paste that in your word document.

Some useful tips here, but I dont understand why you use a word document? Isnt is as safe if I just type in the exchange I want to visit if I know the in my mind? Or can there some misleading with that? I am not that tech savvy, so I ask this. Maybe its a silly question. Also how about just bookmarking the sites when you visit the first time? Or can bookmarks be altered somehow? |

Have patience this revolutionary concept I hope next year will be dominated by this platform. This will provide more secure ecosystem for smart contracts and the current progress going on very well.
Maybe not next year, as the mainnet will only be released in Q4 2018 (if it will be released on schedule, nobody can promise that because there can be obscacles coming up). But in the coming years Aeternity has a good chance to become dominant! I will have a lot of patience and confidence, and am looking forward to use my AE on the Aeternity blockchain itself! |

Did I understand correctly, that Loopring wants to achieve with it's protocol, that one shall be able to trade on several exchanges, that are linked with each other through Loopring, at the same time. Meaning a higher trading volume and a more balanced price? Hence improving liquidity? Hope I got that correct, if not please somebody enlighten me!
