1941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: November 22, 2017, 04:13:19 PM
Very interesting. As I am always on the lookout for new anonymous currencies I am happy to have found this. Can someone evaluate the advantages XZC brings in comparison to for example Anoncoin or AEON? Would be really intersted in learning more and start the discussion. I think anonymous coins are going to be needed more than ever in the near future, so Im looking for the best one!
1942  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 22, 2017, 04:04:03 PM

The last time I used a bank those dipshits tried to increase my interest rate on a student loan without informing me of it.
Then they tried to make it seem like the "better option", even though there was absolutely no benefit from switching the loan over other than a commission to the dumbass at the counter and additional money into the pockets of the bank.
When I destroyed them with the wonders of Mathematics and facts they became very quiet and didn't know how to react. What a fun day.

I wonder how many people they manage to scam with their "nice" attitudes.

So yeah, I hope banks will be obliterated by cryptos.

Lovely to read this. Made my day! The method of banksters are really worrysome. One example is that they offer students more loans than they will be able to pay off in due time. Its just ridiculous. How can you offer students that are not even working or getting any money cash payouts from your credit card (1500$) a week. How are they gonna pay it back? They even call you and write you letters and emails to take this cash out. Weak people fall for it and will be trapped by these loans for a long time.
1943  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin almost hitting $8000 on: November 22, 2017, 03:58:03 PM
yes correct bitcoin hitting $8000 and I think this digital currency will continuesly level up the price. Behind this everyone admire that cyrptocurrency will continue exist and helpful to us. Many user that speculation for bitcoin will be reaching more than $8000 before end this year.

True said. Bitcoin broke that 8000USD barrier and is heading towards 8500USD now. Thats somewhat amazing but also scares me as this growth of Bitcoins value is not really organic in my opinion. Its more speculation than many might think it is. So if speculators start cashing out, weak hands will follow and this will result in a sharp decline in value. I hope that the price keeps rising until 10k so that we can say we got an all time high of 10k in 2017! After that if price goes down to 6k or so Im willing to buy in again!
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [QSP] Quantstamp started trading on exchange on: November 22, 2017, 03:53:07 PM
I was aware that it was coming, but unfortunately I was a bit late following the listing of QSP. I skipped the quantstamp ICO because I made some bad experiences with hyped ICO's. I decided rather to wait for it to hit the exchanges. But as it seems to be always the case: when you decide against buying the price goes up, and when you decide for buying the price goes down. Hopefully I will find another good entry point soon. Need that dip happening!
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Under $1 on: November 22, 2017, 02:29:57 AM
One altcoin I am invested in is Aeternity, it has huge growth potential in my opinion. They will build a new scalable blockchain that will bring unique features.

Among them:
Mobile Mining
Trusted oracles
State channels for off chain transactions

The project is founded by "the godfather" of ethereum.
It is currently traded at around 0.60USD. I would definitely recommend checking out their website for more info!
1946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO of week on: November 22, 2017, 01:46:12 AM
I interested in the ICO of Envion at the moment (as you can see on my signature). They will provide a mining solution with so called MMU's (high power mining containers) that will mine all crypto that is worth to mine. The Tokens are divident paying and investors will get their share of the mining operations every week payed. Its really promising and the demand for this is high. Its a swiss company and they operate the first container already in Berlin in germany.
Of course thats just what im interested in, always do your own due dilligence before investing. Cheers!
1947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 LiveEdu 🔵 The future of online education: project-based learning on: November 22, 2017, 01:39:56 AM
So the ICO main sale got postponed as I read? Its better not to rush things. Always favourable to be prepared for everything that could happen, therefore take your time. I am looking forward to a well conducted main token sale!
1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: November 22, 2017, 01:14:01 AM
Very good thread, really interesting to read all those regrets.

For me it is not buying bitcoin when it was at 800usd. I decided against it and just left crypto for later.
Than a guy gave me a hint about ethereum when it was still 10usd. I was eager, but left too much time pass until I finally had the money ready and also missed that. Got finally in when it was around 50.
1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum supply unlimited? on: November 22, 2017, 12:55:39 AM
Coin market cap couldn't help you even if they'd wanted to, because not even Ξ's dev emperor Buterin knows the answer yet, he needs to jump a few more girls with Putin while Trump watching, violent lol. if he actually switches to POS, Ξ will die undoubtedly, how'd you like to invest on a coin if you can't mine it? would you invest your money when you know only whales are getting everything?

I Am curious how this will enfold itself in the future. It always worried me that Ethereum has unlimited supply. Also I totally agree with you on the whale issue, I didnt see any point in POS, as people with small bags cant achieve anything with their staking. Good joke about the three guys that are relevant for ETHs development!
1950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep track of the airdrops and bounties you've joined on: November 22, 2017, 12:46:00 AM
I'm trying to find a system to keep track of airdrops and bounties I've joined.
Things I'm trying to achieve: Keep track of when to perform an action, check if there is a follow-up, notify myself to retweet or post and of course when to check if a campaign paid me.

Needless to say: I haven't managed sofar... So I'm curious how you do.

I bookmark the bounties I joined so that I dont forget them. If I join in several tasks from a campaign I update the one spreadsheet I got for bounties. As for airdrops I dont do nothing, eighter to coin comes or it does not. I dont run after them.
1951  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: November 22, 2017, 12:22:14 AM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

I would really be surprised if they dont. They got nothing to loose right? Besides of some reputation maybe. Thats why I think most of them likely do invest big time but dont make it public. Thats the beauty with being a billionaire, you can just invest in everything and get richer and richer even if 3/4 of your investments fail and only one takes off (BTC).
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UK threatens to shut down BitConnect on: November 22, 2017, 12:11:13 AM
I hope that those of you that are still participating in BitConnect get out while you still can, in 2 month max Bitconnect will be shut down and lot of people will lose money.
Stay away of this scam, it's the same thing like Onecoin a obvious scam !

Thats a suggestion with good intentions, but I dont think many will listen to it. People were warned often enough about bitconnect. But they dont listen. I think everyone who would listen to this left already because they became aware of what they got into or they didnt participate in the first place. Sad but true.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: November 22, 2017, 12:05:09 AM
In previous Bitcoin forks some exchange have granted BTC holders an equivalent amount of coins in the forked currency, for example Bitcoin Cash (BCC).

However, in the BTG fork, the exchange I'm currently using (Luno) has not credited its users with BCC yet. I guess it is up to them to decide if they want to do it, since they will need to start supporting BCC as a currency as well.

But does anyone know what happens to the coins that they are "not giving us" then? Are those exchanges becoming rich from our investments?

Well, generally speaking its up to the exchanges if they will acknowledge the fork and therefore accredit their investors their forkcoins. But it is never good to let your BTC (or any other coin that is forking) on exchanges, because you dont control the private keys there and therefore are dependent on the goodwill of the exchange. On top one should always inform themselves if they will give the coins from the fork or not. If they dont, it will most likely be communicated prior to the fork (if not, I would consider leaving that exchange for good). If they dont do it, they will still be credited the BTG from the fork and most likely get rich from them. But its the users fault to let their BTC there in the first place.
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wish I never bought altcoins on: November 21, 2017, 10:52:16 PM
I feel you! Sometimes I regret it too. My altcoinportfolios btc-value diminished... I have still faith in my precious alts though. I will just keep on holding and hoping that they will recover and one day beat the potential bitcoin profits. There is no way back anyways for me now.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Please recommend me 1 best Altcoin to buy on: November 21, 2017, 10:46:55 PM
I dont give investment advice here but I will still tell you what I woulp put my money in if I would not have already put it in there: Aeternity! Its a new blockchain that will bring many features if they will achieve their goals. For example mobile mining, trusted oracles, off chain state channels for transactions , scalability and much more. Also its founded by a cofounder of Eth. All of the aforementioned caught my attention and I invested in AE!
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: November 21, 2017, 10:40:50 PM
I would put those 500$ all in in a high risk coin and hope for it to make me rich! The coins I would put it in would be eighter AE or MODUM, but thats just me. Many people would rather go the safe route. No investment advice here, just personal opinion!
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Get out of ethereum while you still can! on: November 21, 2017, 10:38:24 PM
I do not fear that ETH is a scam.

But I wonder if there is still so much upwards potential.

I mean it is valued at 31 Billion$ ...

Let me ask you a simple question if I may?

lest say the owners print 999 trillion of ETH, how much upword potential would you have if that happened?

I agree, there should be limited supply and no trust. Decentralization was the goal of blockchain but with ethereum it has become more centralized. But who am I to judge, just another noob that dont understands the matter. I wouldnt say ethereum is a scam though, but many scams are built on top of it.

After few months of creating this thread, we can see clearly that ETH keep growing up, getting more popularized and having the price rising too. It is nowadays the most valuable altcoin and I think it will become more needed in the near future, as the number of ICO's investors go up.

I think its not that hard to comprehend why this is happening. Many businesses realized how easy they could built a token on this blockchain and therefore bought a lot of eth and stabilized the value, also the following ICO craziness is a key factor of holding eth where it is. I wonder what will happen when ICOs start to get regulated because of all those scams. Maybe ethereum will suffer the most of all from this.

1958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: November 21, 2017, 05:52:52 PM
BTG is still better than 90% of the altcoins despite anything negative that happened. Just accept it, if BTC had 100 forks in the next few months, the 100 forks would be better holds than the other cryptos.

Can you explain this a bit more? I dont get why it should be better than 90% of alts. Only because its a fork of bitcoin or what? If its for the tech, than there are a many other coins with more advanced tech than Bitcoin, just with a smaller user base or am I getting that wrong?
1959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SNT] Official Status Network Speculation on: November 21, 2017, 05:41:53 PM
Judging by the fact that the price once again broke through the bottom, dev do nothing? Does anyone closely monitor the project? Principle that would go now the price is normal, the bottom, but if the project is working, but it does not really want to get a second bottom. How are they going to compete with the wats up?

Thats a good question though. Since I invested some ETH in the ICO I have not heard anything big happening for development of the project, also the marketing got pretty silent after end if the ICO. I guess after raising an ignorant sum of about 250M to build a messenger app, you as a company start to not care of what happens with your token. Lets see the next bottom and then the next. Who cares right? I admit, it was my mistake in the first place to get suckered in the fomo without doing my due dilligence correctly before investing. One of my first ICO's and one I learned a lot from. I mean cmon: 250M for a messenger?!
What are you talking dude? They are a hard working team. Presenting every week development updates, sponsoring hackathons and big conferences(marketing), announced a hardwarewallet, an new COO from google, many collobaration and partnerships.
Do you really think they going big within 6 month?
If you dont recognize the quality of this project and team, just leave it and sell your tokens.

I admit, this post was done without any research at all. I was a little upset about ICO's grabbing money in general so unloaded my anger a bit here. Im sorry for that. I keep holding since the ICO and certainly am not selling my tokens, because I sure know the value proposition of the project. I apologize for the somewhat silly post, lets settle this.
