Hmm Cardano, I am monitoring this coin eversince it suddenly popped up on coinmarketcap. Can someone explain me a bit about it? Was there an IC? Private sale? Why should one buy ADA? Why does it already have such a huge marketcap? I believe it wants to become the first regulatory compliant blockchain solution that took all precautions for the upcoming regulations on crypto and is easy adaptable to new situations. Am I right with this? Somehow it attracts me and I want to get in, so please enlight me tell me why it is as good as it claims to be!

I am still, always, realistic though, I don't expect some revolutionary new paradigm shift but what LiveEdu is doing is a first in education and can act as models for other platforms and companies to contribute more collectively with the education community.
Totally agree here, LiveEdu brings new methods into the online education sector and this is just great. People have always found new ways to educate themselves and this is likely a first step towards a new educational system. Attendence in university is mostly obsolete anyways, because students have to review all the stuff they should have hammered in their head within the lecture. So why not just deliver all this content via video material? |

I currently have one ICO on my watch that is Envion (as you can see on my signature), they will provide a mining solution with so called MMU's (high power mining containers) that will mine all crypto that is worth to mine. The Tokens are divident paying and investors will get their share of the mining operations every week payed. Its really promising and the demand for this is high. Its a swiss company and they operate the first container already in Berlin in germany.
Of course thats just what im interested in, always do your own due dilligence before investing. Cheers!

I would also suggest that you try your luck first with other campaigns such as twitter, facebook or telegram. Maybe you are a writer or have a blog? Maybe you can produce youtube videos? The effort for signature will be too much for a low reward as newbie. Good luck!

In my personal opinion it could be NEO that achieves this. If the hype train starts rolling one more time, it will likely be for NEO, I guess this coin has the possibility to break 100USD until this years end. But thats from my gut feeling, not based on any technical research or the like.

which overhyped ICO did you buy?
Heard you can also check the viewcount of an ICO's webpage but I'm not sure how.
Can someone teach?
One example was Bancor, another was Status (not performing that bad though), and of course EOS. With those all waiting for exchanges and then buying would have been way more profitable. The viewcount thing is interesting but I also dont know how to do it. ICO with hype is bad usually so avoid them if you see them. I usually join their chat group, telegram / slack to see how many people in thechat room. If it's too much then i will avoid it, i also check youtube videos, if too many youtubers promote them it's bound to get overhyped.
I am also avoiding Telegram chats with 3k+ members, its usually a bad sign, at least I think so. Don't forget the telegram group and how they correspond with their supporters. The more proactive they are, the better. For example, cybermiles's telegram group grew from 200 members to almost 6000 members in a few weeks just based on how proactive their team is.
Vouch for this! This is also my indicator number one for the evaluation of an ICO (after whitepaper etc). If the team in there is supportive and proactive its way more likely that hte project will have success. But the size of the group does not matter at all, because there are ways for ICO's nowadays to make telegram groups bigger than they would be by organic growth. They make airdrops for people to join, they lure people with some other tricks, there are even people who offer their "service" on bitcointalk to add strangers to your group for a little BTC. I saw it happen the other way around. I was added to a telegram group (before I turned off that people can invite me) that had 3k+ members, the team was proactive and I was like yeah ok why not lets see what happens and stayed in the group. Suddenly the group was closed (most likely because there were too many people reporting it as spam) and one week later or so the group reopened again, guess what: it shrinked from the 3k+ to little under 200 members. So they bought their groupmembers or used someones "add-service". Always be suspicious, thats what I learnt. |

It has been several months now. SONM price continues to gain 1 U.S. cent per month since July and that looks like stable increase to me. Stop looking at the BTC value cuz Bitcoin is in frenzied rally right now. The real value still continues to go up and under the radar of many traders.
I think it's still important to consider the BTC value, both for investors and for traders. After all, BTC will be your benchmark for your crypto portfolio. I wouldn't get too hung up about it, especially when investing. But you should at least know how you've performed against the most important benchmark so you can think of ways to improve yourself even further. I totally agree. Many people misinterpret the prices because they arent monitoring how their investment performs against BTC, but as most coins are traded against BTC one should always orient himselve on it. Just looking at USD prices makes no sense in my humble opinion. For example could your altcoin portfolio be worth now the exact same USD value as in september, but the BTC value will be drastically decreased. Now do the math and calculate how much BTC you would own if you wouldnt have bought the alts with that BTC and then look how much this BTC amount would be worth in USD (yes in this case it is the right way to evaluate BTC, because BTC is traded in high volume against USD). After this easy calculation one should see if he profitted, stayed at the same level, or if he actually (as in most cases with alts) made a loss. Not speaking against alts here! I love alts! |

It would be a major step to make a truly user friendly wallet. Monero, even with all it's other problems, has a nightmare wallet.
Aeon has always been the respectable cn coin and it's wallet is okay but should be easier on new people.
Vouch for this! I mean after all it wasnt hard to setup, but for people that never use a command console and arent tech savvy the "user-interface" of the wallet is kind of scary at the first glimpse. I am not aware of the development stage AEON is in right now, but I am very eager to be a part of the ecosystem and would love the see AEON prosper, but for widespread adoption there will be a need for easy to use and visually attracting wallets! |

The biggest ruin is EtherDelta (to people who said it isn't).I've tried other sets like TKN:ETH, Chop:ETH, PLU:ETH and it is all the same every thing will go empty.But VERI seems to be the speak of the chatroom.VERI must be outlined at the main exchanges for a a lot smoother price-discovery and ownership.I wager basically had been representing some purchase-side institution I wouldn't purchase VERI at EtherDelta.
Can you elaborate a bit more to me? Do you think EtherDelta is ruining the price for VERI? Do you think the price is to high currently due to EtherDelta? I personally made the experience that EtherDelta ruined the price of many of my erc20 token investments, almost every coin was traded on it right after the ICO (or even when still running), and made them suffer hard in price because weak hands and bounty hunter sold very cheap. Sure one can make a bargain, but after all this drove me away from investing in ICO's because there was always a huge loss resulting from it. Would like to hear your general opinion on EtherDelta. |

Me too, it's about time someone came up with something like this specially since nowadays learning to code is essential for most decent paying jobs and there are many people eager to learn.
Exactly my point of view. Coding is already very high in demand and experts are scarce. The demand is growing also faster than new coders are properly educated. This is a big opportunity for everyone to get involved by themselves. But besides of coding, the other topics are also futureshaping and will be high in demand one day. E.g. Crypto! Yeah it also seems like the videos teach coding in a way that is usable and practicable, it skips a lot of unnecessary stuff. Not neccessarily skipping, its more teaching how to build something real, not only theory, Project based learning its called. As many people struggle with learning only the theory, that style of learning will benefit many people. But this is only practicable if the learners already got some basic knowledge of the topic, and therefore some beginner theory is needed. So one could maybe say LiveEdu skips the beginner stage and aims towards higher level education! |

For now I hold back a little on buying altcoins. As there was a huge increase in total marketcap in the last weeks there sure will be a decrease again when people start cashing out. This will be the perfect time to buy. Maybe this will happen mid december, maybe sooner. For now I just wait and dont buy anything.

Is it neccessary to do telegram, twitter and facebook or can one also only join telegram for example? Please clarify this better so people can decide if an option for them or not. Thank you.

How about airdrop in a unique way and at the same time attract investors ..
May be. We are thinking about this. What do you think about airdrop. I think you guys need to find a way how to not giving your airdrop to weak hand who end up dumping the coin. I think that airdrop can greatly reduce the cost of the token. An Airdrop can increase awareness for the coin. It can help create a community around it and you can bind the airdrop to some conditions such as joining your telegram channel etc. I would not suggest putting twitter or facebook related conditions in it though, because these mediums are not effective because its just a following cycle from the same people. Bitcointalk profile and Eth adress + joining the telegram group should do the job to be an attractive airdrop. You should make sure to ban cheaters from the airdrop by only letting jr. members and above participate and only accounts that are created before a certain date. Also I would suggest not to pay the airdrop until the ICO has ended, so weak hands cant sell their token on etherdelta before the ico is over. Also make strict rules to ban any people that try to shill other airdrops etc in your chatroom, it should only consist of on topic communication. Just my opinions on a successful airdrop. |

How is the project developing? I couldnt follow the last developments. Hope everything is underway for the tokensale and it will be a success. When after the tokensale will the tokens be distributed?

Can someone please elaborate real quick what the delegates voting is for? What are delegates on Lisk blockchainplatform? What purpose do they serve? Is this just to make money via dividents? Who pays those dividents? Sorry I am new to Lisk and reading about delegates all over the place. Would appreciate if someone explains it to me.
Not techy myself but i"ll try to give rough answer. 101 active delegates are securing the network with their servers,they are switching every five minutes in the process called forging. People can vote for them cause voting gives delegates weight and the more weight each delegate have chances are higher to enter top 101. To be on the 101st place you"ll need around 23 million vote weight, good luck with that  And yes you earn a dividend for voting. Lets say you have 1000 lisk and you vote for sharing delegates, you can earn 15,16 percent a year with rewards. Thanks for elaborating. I dont really get how the network security works but I understand now how it is being conducted with the delegates. But doesnt this also kind of centralises the whole blcokchain when relying on 101 delegate servers? But on the other hand bitcoin itself is kind of centralized with 80+ of all miners being in china. And the mining pools are also pretty centralized, not even 101 if I remember correctly. I dont know if this comparison can be done here, if not let me know please. |
