We are witnessing now the growth of Bitcoin. In my opinion we are not near to the end, this journey will go for much longer. But if it comes to an end, it will because of external impacts like global prohibition or something alike. But I think blockchaintech is real and is here to stay, so I can imagine that there will be another crypto currency taking over for Bitcoin at some point

I must admit I made the big mistake to stake my money on ETH the last time, although I saw Bitcoin rising and it was likely to rise more, I just thought ETH has to take off at some point. Sure it finally did, but if I had left that money in BTC, my gains would have been way bigger. But thats life, no regrets, Im still very happy how everything is developing and 2018 will be just great for both coins, at least thats what I think.

Totally depends on the people, but in general its not such an easy topic to get around when you first hear about it. Best way to learn about it is reading by yourself I guess. If I talk with people that never heard of something like a cryptocurrency its really hard to explain, but with more tech savvy people, they can imagine easier how a blockchain works and how a currency like Bitcoin can be therefore created.

Nice, that is really good to read. I love that Bitcoin and crypto in general getting more and more recognized. Good that people in Afrika are supporting and embracing the opportunity. Hopefully we will see this kind of adoption all around the world soon.

I would still invest in altcoins, not only BTC will bring yields. I think Alts are going to prosper in 2018 as well. I like to have a diversified portfolio. 33% BTC/ETH (half, half), 33% Platformbased coins (like ark, neo, block), 33% others.

I cant see BCD going anywhere. I think BCH had to first movers advantage and BTG got somehow some attention through the FUD around it. But BCD got no attention at all as it seems. I will be monitoring it, but certainly not buy now, too much risk in it. It might die off soon, lets see.

I did also put some money as a gamble on Potcoin, as above written, its really going hard right now. And there is this other cannabis coin called Chex that recently conducted an ICO and is talking about getting listed to bittrex through partnering with a coin that is already listed on bittrex. Its not officially announced yet, but my guess is that they will be partnering with potcoin, which other coin that is on bittrex could they partner with? No Investment advice here, thats just my guesses.

Gotta love that! Im so happy that I found VIA, big opportunity here, this blockchain has so many unique features and its still under the radar and highly undervalued. Im certain we will see huge growth in 2018!

I like what I read here, so many people love Warcraft 3, seems as I am in the right crowd here. Warcraft 3 was and is the best game ever for me. There is no game that brought to the world what warcraft 3 brought, just an enrichment for humanity.

After that hack I didnt follow the project anymore and stepped away from investment. But it seems that the project is still on and the team is working hard on delivering their proposal. I like this and might invest now, as the price seems also pretty reasonable to get in now. Keep it up CoinDash!

Wow congrats on that, as you mentioned it, I think this is luck. But you have to be really fast to sell sometimes to make money with them. So far I didnt manage to make much money with airdropped stuff, most if it is crap. But there can be gems as well, just need to keep looking constantly, although it is really hard lately, with over 10 airdrops popping up each day. Hope I can make some money finally as well.

Indeed it is great to see NXT finally having a increase in price and huge trading volume. NXT was too long overlooked, its a really solid blockchain with amazing features. Looking forward to 2018!

My opinion on crypto startups is ambivalent: I think that there is a lack of regulations and therefore too many scams. Among the legit projects there are too many that are not solving anything with blockchain and therefore will fail. I guess 9/10 Blockchain startups will fail in the next years, if they even deliver what they are promising. But on the other hand I think also that this is only the beginning and we will see many many more (successful) blockchain startups, I wait for the big players and serial entrepreneurs to enter this space. Likely that we will see Elon Musk too.

Mate, Wagerr mainnet is going to be launched in Q1 2018. You cant bet on anything yet. The only thing one could bet on was the mayweather mcgregor fight, but this was a special event and was conducted via the Waves network.

PTOY was my first ICO ever, Im a long term hodler no matter what happens to it! Gotta love this project.

Im also monitoring the BTG price closely. After the first days of a weak hype, it is constantly falling. Anybody knows the reason for it? Or is it just because of the market, in consequence of there not being much demand for BTG?

Nice to have been made aware of Phore. Definitely see potential here. First zerocoin implementation and later on segwit. Phore might be the hidden gem that everyone is looking for in crypto. I will buy on the next opportunity, even if I have to register at cryptopia...

Certainly true, never run behind the hype! If you want to make high risk / high yield investments, you should do your research and decide which coins have the potential to go up. But you should not try to buy in a hype, thats almost all the time a bad decision.
