1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIGNALS.NETWORK..FINALLY ICO TO THE MOON? on: December 04, 2017, 02:17:31 AM
Could you please explain what Signals is or are you just spamming advertising?

Yeah second that! Some people advertised Signals in some other threads, but I still dont know what it is. If you want to make people aware you could at least kindly give a short description so people could decide for themselves if the project sounds interesting to them or not.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is no Premine so important to the value of altcoins? on: December 04, 2017, 02:15:10 AM
I think it depends on what the plan for the premine is. So without context I think it's unfair to say that a premine hurts the value of a coin

I agree with that comment. In some cases a premine does make sense, whereas it can hurt a coin (or the trust in it) in other cases. For example, if a dev premines, lets say 20% of the total supply for himself before he announces the blockchain, it can be a huge trustissue and the possibility that this dev just dumping constantly on the market.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin under 1$ to invest in now? on: December 04, 2017, 02:12:41 AM
I can suggest you Aeternity. The coin fits in your criteria, its currently traded below $1 and it should be a long term hold to let it enfold its potential. Aeternity (AE) will bring great new features to the space, such as trusted oracles, off state transaction channels (for scalability) and mobile mining. But as it is with everything, do your own research. Check out their website and their whitepaper and decide for yourself.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 02:09:57 AM
I think that the people that are against cryptocurrencies are eighter scared of change, or they are misinformed by mainstream media that is controlled by the people that control most of the worlds wealth now. These people surely are afraid of crypto and a shift of power. Nobody can stop emerging technology, people should rather embrace it instead of being scared and pushing it away.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [MNX] Minexcoin Speculation !!! on: December 04, 2017, 02:07:58 AM
Minexcoin had a huge run lately. People started to become aware of the benefits of a constant growth and stability. I hope to see it rally more in 2018. My prediction for 2018 would be between $50 and $100.
1367  Economy / Economics / Re: $1,500 to spend - buy btc, or buy another miner? on: December 04, 2017, 01:12:06 AM
As you indicated, I would also not invest in Bitcoin now at this high price level. I would also rather wait for the correction. Actually we are in a pretty similar situation, I want to buy a miner too, but decided now to wait until the new series comes out. As the wait is long anyway, I guess it wont matter much. And I also wait for the Bitcoin correction, having some money sitting in my exchange account and waiting for a serious correction for almost two months now. I missed the whole surge with that money... As you asked how low can it go: I have no idea, its really unpredictable, but I hope for $7500 or $8000 as an entry when the correction sets in.
1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can I protect my self from being hack of bitcoin on: December 04, 2017, 01:07:19 AM
I own a ledger nano s where I store my bitcoin holdongs,
But where do you hodl your alt coins that are not supported ?

That definitely is the best method to be protect your bitcoins and your ethereum. Even if your computer gets hacked your money is still safe, and compared to the potential loss that one can suffer when being hacked, the investment in a hardware wallet is really worth it.
For altcoins that are not supported on the ledger you can use a paper wallet if you want to use coldstorage and going long term on them. Most alts offer their own method/ service to create paper wallets. Those wallets can only receive and not send funds, so you would have to import the seed from the paper wallet to the wallet client (eg desktop wallet) of the particular altcoin and restore your wallet there to be able to send the funds out of this wallet again.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: December 04, 2017, 01:00:11 AM
As it seems there are some heavy emotions in this thread. I will tell you my story. When I learned about Stratis in april 2017, the hype just started and everyone said get in get in fast. Unfortunately I had no money to put in at that time, because I spend all my money on SIA some days earlier after people told me get in get in we are going to the moon (bought SIA at 300 and 400 sats). So unfortunately the stratis train left without me, and I decided its best to wait for it to go down again - this was the best decision. Unlucky me is now a big bag holder of SIA and not really believing that it will crawl back to 300 sats even anytime soon. But the point of my story is: never run behind hype, if the train leaves without you, dont try to run after it, just let it go and take the next one. There will always be a next one.
1370  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the biggest problem of teenagers nowadays? on: December 04, 2017, 12:53:05 AM
I think the biggest problem for the generation born around the millenium is that they are growing with all those smart devices and social media surrounding them. Kids/ Teenager nowadays dont go out anymore to play nor do they learn practical things (tlaking about the majority, sure there are exceptions). They lack of creativity as well. But its not their fault, its the environment in which they grow up. I think that this is a pity and a development for the bad of mankind, we will have to face the consequences of that in 10 to 20 years.
1371  Economy / Economics / Re: IMPORTANT! - US Senate Bill S.1241 to Criminalize Concealed Ownership of Bitcoin on: December 04, 2017, 12:49:59 AM
I agree that there is a need for regulation of some sort. But hopefully the world wont let the usa dictate this regulations. This would be for the bad of the cryptospace and for the bad of global economy imo.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Quantstamp "proof of hold" on: December 04, 2017, 12:41:53 AM
Is this proof of hodl for real? I thought this was a joke by the quantstamp team to incentivice people to hold their coins when they hit the exchange, however that may be, it worked out fine for the price of QSP. But to be honest, whats the difference between proof of hodl and proof of stake, both rewards you for having your coins in your wallet right?
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: December 04, 2017, 12:38:04 AM
Why start such a FUD thread? You know what your saying is not true and by now have been proven very wrong by the market. But whatever you just made a food of yourself with this thread. Bitcoin is king and will remain king. Dont know what bcash is...
1374  Other / Off-topic / Re: how often you were deceived? on: December 04, 2017, 12:35:20 AM
Actually this is a good question and I think soon I will also have a story to share. But first I will have to wait a little bit more to see how things enfold. I will bookmark the thread and maybe come back soon and share my story.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ADEX]*new thread* - AdEx Network - Decentralized Ad Network on: December 03, 2017, 11:30:54 PM
Yeah boi, I like what I see, so cool to see this, gotta fly with easyjet again. AdEx is definitely on the right track. Hope that you finally disrupt the ad space. I am happy to hold my tokens for much longer, this project will be huge!
1376  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you share your bitcoin to your wife? on: December 03, 2017, 11:24:53 PM
Nice thread man, as I read the title I burst out laughing. I have no wife, but after thinking about it, I wouldnt share my Bitcoin with her eighter. Maybe buy her some nice stuff now and then and tell her I worked extra shifts just to be able to buy her the stuff she needs. Cheesy
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BUY IOTA FAST on: December 03, 2017, 11:21:40 PM
Guys, never run behind a hype. If the train left already, take the next one. There is always another opportunity. Remember that we saw 100% price increase in IOTA in the last weeks, so this train might have left already for now. Just my 2 cents.
1378  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC rate when bitcoin will mined on: December 03, 2017, 11:15:47 PM
I think nobody can tell what will happen then. I could picture that bitcoins price would first rise due to the fact that there will no more coins being mined so people start a run on the existing ones because everybody expects a rise in price, this run then makes the price grow and then the price will stagnate at a certain level and might slowly decline again. Just letting my imagination flow here. Dont really know how this scenario will turn out, but its some time until we face that anyways.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next big cryptocurrency? on: December 03, 2017, 11:07:52 PM
I would wait for EOS next year after the token sale finishes. It might be huge what we will see from EOS and it can disrupt the whole space. I am excited for it and definitely want to have my share. Unfortunately I still dont have bought, but I will sooner or later in that crowdsale!
1380  Economy / Lending / Re: Invest in Sweeet | First Legit Investor-Plan (Closed) on: December 03, 2017, 11:06:08 PM
Recently Paypal decided to permanently ban my account making business no longer possible for me as Paypal was the key factor, at that point I was in debt to my investors from previous Margin trading losses, now I am in a stick situation, I have little use for any investments as of right now, nor do I feel comfortable accepting them anymore. As of this point my investments  are closed.

Thanks for the clarification. That sucks, but paypal sucks in general, I stay away from that rubbish whenever I can. I understand that you couldnt because it was a key factor of your business model. Hopefully you will get everything sorted out, hold your head up!
