1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: December 05, 2017, 02:33:08 PM
I did invest in DIMCOIN since I love the project. And I still have my DIMTOKENS and DIMCOINS. However I won't get into DIMPAY. The timing for a new ICO is off, since the original DIMCOIN offering has not delivered on promises and original timeline (such as HYBSE relaunch). Why on earth they need additional funds at this stage. Very suspicious.

Yep, extremely suspicious. Close to nothing is known about the DimCoin team. Their Telegram is a gif graveyard where hardly, if ever, a dev shows up. I have 0 faith in this project. My guess is the real project was exploiting dimwitted investors so some dudes could buy a Lambo. Now they wish to expand their garage so they figure DimPay is the way to go (the most ridiculous idea ever and should've been included in the first ICO if anything)

Do you want the link to the trading TG so you can sell your coins and tokens? Or do you want to stay and cry?
STOP the FUD. You dont know shit about dimcoin. Dimpay ICO was always announced, you're just to stupid to read the crowdsale prospectus. I dont get people like you who dont read the documents and dont do their own due diligence before investing.

Good post. Totally agree. Why are so many people spreading FUD, if they want to get out, why they dont do so? I also cant understand why some people dont read about their investments. People are just impatient nowadays and want to see x100 gains in a matter of few months. These people have actually no idea how investments and especially investments in startups do work. Actually the Dimcoin whitepaper was very professional compared to so many others that I read.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - Semi-decentralized Exchange on the Blockchain on: December 05, 2017, 02:25:32 PM
why don't they stopp to release new thing for a moment. they really should provide a desktop wallet first. i don't use the wallet on my iOS device. i hate to use an iOS wallet because of the touchscreen.

is it just me that is waiting for the desktop wallet?

No mate, you are not alone! I am using the Lykke wallet on android, but as you I really hate using a wallet and doing my trades on my phone. I am also desperately waiting for a decent desktop wallet. Also with the many features that Lykke offers, a desktop wallet would be just easier to use and to have a decent overview of the possibilities offered by lykke. Hopefully we will see a desktop wallet soon.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Viacoin (VIA) - Safe | Segwit | Lightning Network | Auxpow | Fast on: December 05, 2017, 02:19:58 PM
So much talk about prices, its all about prices of coins nowadays, but isnt the tech more important and the features and new opportunities the project offers to us? I myself am not a tech savvy person and cant contribute much, but I would be very happy to read some opinions of people that know more than me and like to share their views on Via's benefits. Would be great if the discussion could shift again from prices to tech. Just my 2 cents.
1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PROTEX - The Future of Exchanging Data Securely on: December 05, 2017, 02:06:50 PM
Great to hear that you are working hard on delivering! I want to ask what will happen with unsold PRX token after the ICO? Will all unsold coins be burnt? As there is a pretty big total supply, this surely is a important question for all investors in case that the tokensale wont fully sell out.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POWR][UPDATE] *** POWER LEDGER TOKEN SALE STARTS FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER *** on: December 05, 2017, 02:02:09 PM
Glad too read one page of this thread without fud! I also think that the hype now finished for the time being and we may find the price settling around $.50 and $.60 - this is a good price to start a new really as soon as there are some real things delivered by the POWR team.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: December 05, 2017, 01:57:06 PM
EOS has a completely unique structure for its ICO, it is a year long sale, they sell batches of tokens within 'rounds'.
Honestly I prefer this over most token sale models, removes the FOMO and allows me to make a rational decision.

On the one side I agree with you, reducing the fomo that is artifcially created in tokensales with hard cap is a good thing. But on the other side I dont know if the pricing structure is the best: collecting as much money as possible every round (day) for 365 rounds is so much money raised in the end. I still dont see why a blockchain software company would need billions of funding without even having a mvp. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to FUD, just some honest critique of an investor.

You make a good point. I would like to add though, that having bitshares and steem as a track record may be a better indicator for success than a mvp. They both have very good use cases and are still active after the lead dev left.

From my perspective, I dont really care if they raise billions or trillions, as long as the more money raised allows for the EOS platform to be deployed in its full capacity faster. I absolutely love permissionless systems.

I agree, that was maybe formulated not in the best way. I honor Brock Pierce and his work, his person alone is an indicator of succes thats for sure. I also like that he honors integrity, which is such an important attribute in this space. I also think that EOS will rule in 2018, no doubt. What I was trying to say with "there isnt even a MVP" was more of the nature, that it just doesnt deduce to me for me why a startup need this kind of funding. Compared to regular startups that are going through seed funding and VC rounds this just seems so unreal. Hope you understand my point.
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] LOTUS - Decentralized Travel Agency - Early Adopters December 7th on: December 05, 2017, 01:41:46 PM
I agree that the proposal sounds tempting here, but what makes many projects unattractive nowadays is the carelessness for details that many projects seem not to care about. So many typos, even on websites. This sheds a very unprofessional light on projects and makes them unattractive for investors that are able to read. I would suggest every project to proof read their documents, many times. Its insane how some projects offer their Whitepaper to investors (not talking about Lotus here). This is just good meant advice, no FUD. Lotus sounds solid to me.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 05, 2017, 01:36:39 PM
I would definitely dont do this! This is an insane risk that you would take by doing that. Imagine Bitcoin being only half or less after two months. You never know where the market sentiment goes. I know the impression after 2017 is that there is only one direction for crypto, but you should also consider what happened in the past, similar can happen again and then you will find yourself in a bearmarket that can last for a long time, without a house and only half of your initial investment value. I would suggest alway - only invest what you can afford to lose. We are still in a very volatile and unpredictable market here.
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance... is this place a scam? on: December 05, 2017, 01:33:09 PM
Binance is no scam at all - I've used this exchange since its launch and never encountered any problems. The ETH network is really congested at the moment, yesterday they got around 15,000 pending transactions. Maybe that is the reason for your problem. I dont know about IOTA withdrawal though, as IOTA has nothing to do with the Ethereum blockchain, this must have another reason. I actually just remembered that I had a similar problem once with QTUM, I couldnt withdraw after the purchase, but the next day it worked fine.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO]🔥🔥🔥 PlusCoin by DS PLUS - THE FIRST PEOPLE'S CRYPTO MONEY 🔥🔥🔥 on: December 05, 2017, 01:27:49 PM
Thank you for your offer. We've already written them this kind of request but still didn't get any answer.
Nevertheless, you should understand that it's a decentralized platform and after removing PLC from the list some time later anyone could make a request about adding Pluscoin to Etherdelta again.
That's why we ask you to be patient and wait till the official listing on other exchangers in December. We will announce the dates soon.

Thanks for your answer Anastasiya, I know how EtherDelta works, but they dont just list every coin, as I mentioned there is a huge backlog of projects that want to get listed on this exchange. Even if PLC will get delisted, people can still trade it as a costum token that is not listed via the smart contract, they just need the correct contract address, but if it wasnt listed officially it would get way less attention because not many people know how to trade like I have mentioned. I can give you another suggestion for that: write Zach of EtherDelta a personal message on twitter with your request, you most likely will get an answer there. I just want to help out and protect ICO investors. Have a great day.
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Particl•PART|Confidential Transactions|Atomic Swaps|Cold Staking|P2P Marketplace on: December 05, 2017, 12:45:44 PM
Now is a very good time to grab some PART for a bargain price. I think we can be certain that PART will take off in 2018. We most likely will never see it at this price anymore. The project is progressing constantly and more and more people are getting aware of the benefits Particl brings.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: December 05, 2017, 12:39:25 PM
Wait a fork is incoming for SIA blockchain too? Please someone explain to me what kind of fork we are speaking about and what the consequences for holders of SIA will be? Do I have to do anything? I still got my SIA on Bittrex but want to transfer them to a paper wallet soon, is this advisable to do before the fork? Thanks in advance.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (Exchange launch - November, 1) on: December 05, 2017, 12:36:29 PM
When the price was low, people were crying the team has no clue of how to run a project and now the price is high, they are now jealous looking to get back into the game, but remind them you can't eat you cake and have it, never

Totally true, its just that people are very impatient nowadays. They are dillusioned by the dream of making fast money and arent even willing to wait for a few months to see their investment grow. Weak hands and Coin hoppers, nothing more. Its ridiculous how impatient people are in this space, any person of the actual real world financial sector would laugh at them for this attitude. Investments, even more in startups, need time to grow. But some people have to learn the hard way and loose out on profits if they sell to soon.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digitalcurrency on: December 05, 2017, 12:33:08 PM
In 1 year we are all happy CloakCoin will be worth $300/400,1 year back worth 14 cent .... just think.
Now they are still in time to buy for a good price. Wink

Good job DEV TEAM the new website and awesome.

I agree that we will see a good increase in price as soon as things are settled out and due to the low supply and market cap, but $400? Dont get me wrong I would definitely love that price, as I would make huge profit too if this happens, but this seems a bit too much for me. Can you evaluate why you think we can go that high in one year?
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: BTCMoon Airdrop on: December 05, 2017, 12:27:16 PM
I did also fill the form for that one as far as I remember, but was left out too. Anywas it seems that this project got some traction and it will likely be successful. What I dont like about all those new tokens is that they use the name of BTC though. I dont understand why projects are trying to build their reputation off anothers back. If you have to offer something good, you will not need this and likely will be successful without this.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHA-256D] PETRODOLLAR (P$): BIG OIL COMES TO CRYPTO on: December 05, 2017, 12:23:37 PM
well YOBITS can go to hell, they won't provide an address and CRYPTOPIA can go to hell because of their required 200 confirmations is causing me to miss the pump. I could have cleared 50k usd. fuck you cryptopia

You made a valid point here. I avoid those small exchanges whenever I can, I made some similar experiences with cryptopia, yobit and liqui. In my opinion they are all acting shady and there are some manipulations going on. Its the problem with centralized exchanges in general, but those small ones do their shady business very obvious and are scamming costumers by preventing them to trade or to depost / withdraw, while they themselves take advantage of market swings. One has to be really careful with these exchanges and I would always suggest not to put more than one BTC on these sites. Im looking forward to decentralized exchanges taking over anytime soon and put those shady stuff out of business for good.
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: December 05, 2017, 12:17:34 PM
Dimcoin got a unique approach to disrupt the current financial system and even if the project only manages to conquer a small friction of the market they target, it will be huge success for everyone involved. Im glad that I invested some money on DIMCOIN in the ICO, however I didnt follow the projects development closely after the ICO (too many to follow), so how is the DIMCOIN ecosystem progressing and where to get the latest updates about the project? Is there a Slack channel?
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PHR] Phore - 100% PoS 3.0 - Masternodes - Zerocoin - Governance No ICO/Premine on: December 05, 2017, 03:18:36 AM
Best place to buy is currently Cryptopia, there's no decentralized exchanges as of this time.

The marketplace is due in Q1 2018, but the developers are on fire at the moment and blitzing through the roadmap, it will likely be very soon.

Thank you for the quick anwer! Yeah I guess I will have to stick with cryptopia then, although I really dont like those small exchanges lately.

Looking forward to the marketplace, this is such a great feature for Phore. I need to free some funds to get in before the release. I can imagine that this release will broaden the audience and therefore price of PHR going up quickly.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Telcoin - Distributed By Your Mobile Operator & Accepted Everywhere on: December 05, 2017, 02:55:40 AM
I dont see the tokensupply and ICO pricing. Could you provide this information as well? Nevertheless I am interested in your project, it makes sense to me and I think this can have a huge impact on the overall adoption of cryptocurrencies and merging them into daily life. Hopefully your tokensale will be successful and you can deliver what you layed out.
1300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram users beware! on: December 05, 2017, 02:37:57 AM
Yes,personally to newbie when join in airdrop.cause now so many project about airdrop and so many account and wallet stolen after they follow airdrop.actually airdrop project must join with telegram.its ok if the project not scam.but maybe different if project scam and admin for airdrop project is scam too.and once,to many bot on telegram now ^^

I know what you mean, I have seen such groups and stayed away from this airdrop business after I saw all the shitposts, thats not for me. I suggest, no matter what you do: never click a link in telegram. This is only phishing and is heavily promoted by scammers through telegram. Its just disgusting and I would love to see all those scammers computers and phones infected with heavy viruses that just eliminate their hardware. That would be awesome.
