2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop advice for newbies on: November 16, 2017, 11:47:37 PM
Nobody should be giving their private key to any site. Any airdrop that asks for a donation before they can receive tokens should be avoided as that is not an airdrop. Many airdrops supply a low amount of tokens so the holding value is less than the exchange fee.
Avoid the site who are asking your private key. I always received the email from the omisego airdrop. I opened those emails and I want to participate in their airdrop but in the end of their submission, you must filled your private key to get the omisego airdrop. So I decided to leave it and ignore their emails and all incoming emails. They want to get your private to scam all your tokens in your wallet.

Good on you! Its a pity that many people just dont educate themselves enough before entering in crypto. Luckily I was told this a lot of times before buying my first BTC. Security is the most important thing in crypto. Nobody should ever take it light. I would also suggest paper wallets or cold storage via Ledger Nano S. You might think nothing will happen, but if it will, what are you going to do then? Always go by: better safe, than sorry!
2102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SingularDTV dividends (in ETH) for SNGLS-token holders 💸💸💸💸 on: November 16, 2017, 09:56:56 PM
SingularDTV has not said yet when first dividends are paid out(would suspect soon)
I would suspect they will launch SingularX SNGLX-tokens (singularx.com, has already been launched) and get the $10M in USD which will be the first dividends paid out to SNGLS-holders.
btw. 45% of SingularX will be held by SingularDTV, so 45% of SingularX -revenue will also paid as dividends to SNGLS-holders!

Thanks for your reply. I am excited for it to happen. Its what convinced me in the first place to buy SNGLS. Will SNGLX Token be the tokens with whom you can pay the fees on the singularx exchange? If so, can you also pay the fees in other crypto? So, as on binance or kukoin, you will save feecosts by paying them in SNGLX?
2103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop advice for newbies on: November 16, 2017, 09:51:13 PM
Hi there, its a generous move of you to create this thread. Much appreciate it. I would add WindCoin to the list of legitimate airdrops. Check: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2346147.0
The Website is not up yet, but it will come out in the coming days, the Whitepaper as well. The first round was conducted smoothly and on saturday the second round will happen. Please read the thread, evaluate and let me know what you think about it.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think for AirDrops ? on: November 16, 2017, 09:45:48 PM
I think that Airdrops are a good thing to grow awareness of a coin and simultaniously build a community of true supporters. Not all airdropparticipants are goint to sell their coins for a quick buck. Its also a great opportunity to buy cheap on etherdelta from all those who want to sell fast. On the other hand airdrops are a way of creating a lot of shitcoins, and nowadays there is a lot of those.
The dark side of ICO's is that it can be a money grab for some projects that are shit, but still conduct an ICO.
You may check out WIND coin, thats a great way of distribution in my opinion. Its just great to buld a community like them. Its a serious project, but dont wants to raise an ignorant amount of money, so they give most of their coins out for free, airdropped.
2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trezor T or Ledger Nano S? on: November 16, 2017, 09:39:17 PM
I cannot talk about trezor, because I never owned one, but what I hear they are good! My personal experience is with ledger nano S, I got a few and I love them, convenient to use, looks great and is very safe. I am totally satisfied with the ledger nano s!
2106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SONM speculation on: November 16, 2017, 07:28:34 PM
Such projects do not make much sense to invest in very long term. Make shorter investments.

Why do you think that its not a good long term investment? Can you please explain further? I mean, isnt this project just starting and doesnt have a perfectly working product now? I guess after they have the working product ready it should be ready to hit its real value and then maybe even appreciate with growth of user basis. But maybe I am seeing this completely wrong, so please explain.
2107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] My wish - Protecting Your Cryptocurrency [ICO 25 OCT] on: November 16, 2017, 06:53:49 PM
Imagine that you get your salary instantly in crypto (that's growing in price!) and pay by it everywhere. isn't that cool?

First I spotted this project it was only for the "last will" as for what happens with the bitcoins after death or what happens if one decides to live a life as a nun or a monk. Now it has changed to "will" in general? As for any "will" that you want to push through via smart contracts? Very interesting, love this idea of getting my salary in crypto! I will read up some more.
2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When ICO rush will stop? on: November 16, 2017, 06:47:06 PM
Its more like decentralized crowdfunding and crowdfunding will never stop but rush over ICO specially people being fooled by scam projects must be stopped. There are still many ICOs without any legal registration and no any beta products. Only a plain whitepaper + big promises of profit sharing is being enough to attract millions of dollar which will soon stop when people will realize that not all ICOs will be successful.

True words. It will take some time until people realize that many ICO's wont achieve what they are promising. It will be in fact as with all other startups: 9 out of 10 will fail. In fact, with ICO's its likely that even more will fail, because they dont even have a MVP, in many ICO's people are investing in a vague idea, described with big words in the "whitepapers". Many wont be able to deliver anything due to a lack of skills. Just by throwing a lot of money at someone doesnt mean that this person or team can suddenly achieve everything. On plus there are these huge money grabs that are hurting the whole space, how can we throw hundreds! of millions at projects without anything to show? There is a reason for VC funding rounds, its to protect investors, and for the good of the startups as well. But crypto space has to learn this the hard way.

2111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins to buy now for future on: November 16, 2017, 04:29:46 PM
Im stron supporter of SONM, great community day by day bigger, SONM beat competition like GOLEM,Iexec with functionality, and marketcap is only $30 mln ..

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/sonm/
not sure about sonm was a better coin. The only coin gets a lot of dump due to the investors already lost their lost to this project caused by the worst distribution. Even the team can't make the code to execute properly. I remember the distribution takes a month. The price already recovered a lot but it still below the ico price.

What distribution do you mean? The distribution of the tokens bought during ICO? As I got my from the ICO quite fast as I remember, nothing to complain there. But you are right, the trading price dumped a lot and traded eversince the ICO below the ICO price. Thats sad, but no big deal for longterm holders. It surely is on a good way and recovered a lot already as you said.
2112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 10 years ? on: November 16, 2017, 04:23:14 PM
I cant imagine it passing Bitcoin, also not in 10 years. Compare Bitcoin (max supply 21 mln) to Ethereum (max supply. not even defined) if it overcomes Bitcoin somehow, than this will be based on pure speculation and this will lead many people to loose money. Realistically I see Ethereum around 1000usd or maybe 1500usd in 10 years, if there wont be a superior solution that took ethereum out by that time.
2113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What the hell ! Please everybody look at prices before buying BCC !! on: November 16, 2017, 04:19:17 PM
Im just happy that I never bought bitcoincash, the ones I got stay in my wallet eversince the fork and are supposed to rot there. No utility and no store of value. Just pure hype and nothing else. People that jump in bitcoincash will most likely regret it sooner or later. Even if they are still in profit, they would have made more with the BTC dip a few days back...
2114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SONM speculation on: November 16, 2017, 03:32:48 PM
Hard to say, depends on the development of SONM and of course of the hype crypto is generating in the coming time. I speculate in jan. 2018 it will still be trading at the same pricelevel, as for mid 2018 it could reach maybe 0.5usd and start 2019 it could trade at 1usd. This would be great. Of course there could be huge price increases if there is another rush in crypto as there was in 2017. Lets wait and see!
2115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I lost almost 300,000 USD in seconds on: November 16, 2017, 03:29:31 PM
Oh my god... I am really sorry for you. Of course this was a big gamble in the first place, but still, the way it went down is just not fair. I have huge respect for the calmness that you still seem to have. Do you think that the cancellation of the fork was planned beforehand or do you think that this was all legit?
2116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Creditcards / Crypto Debitcards on: November 16, 2017, 02:54:43 PM
I use Wirex it was the first I heard of and it seems quite good. The app is top and you can choose between Virtual and Plastic cards. I must admit I havent really looked at any other competition^^

Thanks for the reply, what do you have, a virtual or a plastic one? I want to get a plastic card as I like to have those, but with those its also the question if the card will arrive at the address that you want it to be sent.
2117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SingularDTV dividends (in ETH) for SNGLS-token holders 💸💸💸💸 on: November 16, 2017, 02:39:20 PM
if I have 1000 tokens SNGLS on the exchange Bittrex for example, will I receive dividends ?

I think its best to store the SNGLS in a wallet like MEW that supports all erc20 tokens. By the way as this thread is about the dividends from SNGLS, when will these dividends be paid out? Is there a fixed schedule or is it tba?
2118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can you make a livin in crypto on: November 16, 2017, 02:33:47 PM
For me not yet, it would be really lovely though. But if you dont got enough trading skills, I think it is very hard to make a secure living with it. As it then becomes mainly speculation and if you are lucky and choose a winner, you may be able to live on the profit for quite some time. But this needs luck! Hopefully we all will one day live just of the revenue of crypto! The future looks bright for everyone that is here now. Ask the ones that were here in 2013 or even 2011 they can tell you. Just dont loose faith if there is a bearmarket, eventually it will pass.
2119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SingularDTV Regulation proof and future regulations compliant! on: November 16, 2017, 02:29:28 PM
Gotta love SingularDTV, happy that I invested some money in it. Not 10.000 USD, but still I got me a good amount of tokens for a bargain price. SingularDTV will be huge in 2018! This news with Blockchaus.io is also great. Because as you mentioned, the regulations will come, and they will hit hard, if we dont take precautions and be ready for it.
2120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you generally invest in an ICO ? on: November 16, 2017, 01:26:55 PM
This depends on the project itself. If I see a lot of potential I am willing to invest more, but for projects that only have a certain level of potential, and dont look that promising to me, I rather go in with a little money, just in case it takes off. So that I dont loose out if it does. In most cases I go in with around $250 - $500. But this strategy also failed in more cases then it did work out, most of these ICO's I invested in are now below ICO price and I would have had a lot more gains if I just stayed in BTC. But thats the risk.
