1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: December 04, 2017, 03:09:57 PM
What is the price now? Where can I buy from now.

Mate, if you want to learn about prices and markets where a coin is being traded go to coinmarketcap.com, you will find Bitconnect on the first page and can click on it, find out the price, look at charts and see on which markets / exchanges it is currently traded.
1342  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you guys use OpenBazaar? on: December 04, 2017, 01:51:10 PM
I understand your concerns, but I guess as you are using crypto and are active in this forum, you are already on some government watchlists, only fools would believe something different. But I agree, you are not yet on lists along with the kind of stuff you mentioned, only on the "bad bad cryptocurrency user and therfore potential criminal" list Cheesy
Just joking, each one his own! I think openBazaar is a great tool for the free market, but of course only if used the right way and by the right people.
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MNT] Registration open for Monartis - the currency and online store on: December 04, 2017, 01:45:57 PM
I see that the thread doesnt get the attention it does deserve. The proposition is a good one and everyone that participates in the Monartis ecosystem early, will benefit greatly from it. Hopefully your tokensale will be a success so you can make your promises a reality.
1344  Economy / Economics / Re: will next decade be the bitcoin era ?? on: December 04, 2017, 01:43:47 PM
It might not be the era of Bitcoin solely, but surely it will be the era of cryptocurrencies. As people lost /loose trust in the current financial system and the bankers with their vaporware products we can already see a huge demand for cryptocurrencies, where every player is treated equally and everybody got the same rights. Not to mention all the benefits that the blockchain brings, like eliminating the need to trust third parties. What I think though is that for widespread mainstream adoption there must be a way to make transactions on blockchains reversable (maybe one could implement that this could be done only 5 minutes after ending, or before the second block confirmation comes in or something) because as the blockchain tech is now pretty merciless if one makes a mistake while typing in the address, I guess this scares many people away. It takes a lot of responsability to control all your money by yourself, with a bank, you always got someone to blame when something goes wrong. With crypto, the only one yoou can blame is yourself.
1345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum hits $500, moving towards $50 Billion market cap on: December 04, 2017, 01:37:56 PM
I can also see Ethereum hitting a market cap of $50 Billion. This surely would drive price for ETH to new all time highs. Ethereum does deserve it as it is a really good platform that has already a great community and userbase. Hopefully we will see it trading at $500 to $600 in 2018. I would be totally fine with that development.
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BUY IOTA FAST on: December 04, 2017, 01:33:49 PM
ok, bought again, not a clever thing since we are ath but is better then missing this big opportunity
time as always will tell us who is in the right place

Never buy high bro, I know this can be tempting, but you have to keep in mind that IOTA was traded for pennies in a private slack channel before it got listed on exchanges. This coin already made more than x1000 since its launch. I understand that we see it rising higher, but most of the time its the ones who get in late that are suffering in the end. Dont get me wrong, I love IOTA and been holding for long now (bought at 25 cents) but I always recommend people not to run after hype. Furthermore I rather want an organic growth for IOTA than a fast hype driven one. There will be another opportunity coming your way.
1347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: December 04, 2017, 01:22:18 PM
This has been and i think will always be the best lending platform for a very long term people do tag it as a ponzi coin but its really doing fine in the market
All these new copycats of bitconect are yet to convince me they will come or be anything like bitconnect. The only one that i see may come close is regalcoin being the one that really pulled the crowd after bitconnect.

Thats exactly the point with mlm schemes, as long as there are new people streaming in, the value goes up and the ones that have been in for a longer period of time benefit more, but as soon as there wont be any new money coming in... we will see what happens. Im excited to see how the whole Bitconnect project enfolds in the near future.
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 04, 2017, 01:18:37 PM
Ethereum is best for long term investment as it is being picked up by many institutions and companies. This new article and revised roadmap released by Vitalik shows the potential and use cases. This doesn't mean Ethereum will not grow but in long term it will be important player in this economical space.

Totally agree here, Ethereum is a long game Coin. But on the other hand, I am kind of scared that a new solution will disrupt and eventually maybe even take over Ethereum. As Ethereum also got scaling issues and the switch to PoS will only benefit the whales, so there might be better solutions coming up in the near future.
1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] HomeBlockCoin 🔥 on: December 04, 2017, 01:15:11 PM
Homeblockcoin seems pretty interesting. Its the first time I read about it, but the easy mining from home definitely caught my attention. How is this being conducted? Is it PoW or PoS somehow? I would love to participate in it. Also the lending part is great, there is a huge need for this service and the blockchain technology makes it possible to lend money without middleman involved. Just great.
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the price of ethereum increased on: December 04, 2017, 01:10:07 PM
Actually I dont know the reason why the price increases. But my feeling is that Ethereum was so long trading at around $300, that it just waited to break that mark at a certain point. Many currencies and projects made good gains in the last week, so it was only a matter of time until ETH also continued its journey.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BANKEX | Proof-of-Asset Protocol on: December 04, 2017, 01:08:36 PM
BankEx ICO does go really well as I see. I am happy to have invested a small amount in this successful ICO. Nowadays one has to be really careful where to put his money if investing in ICO's. BankEx seems as it was a solid decision to participate in. Hope we reach the hardcap soon!
1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann][ICO Complete!!] Loopring -- Decentralised Exchange and Open Protocol on: December 04, 2017, 01:05:59 PM
Loopring going straight up when looking at the charts. I wonder where we will see LRC in 2018. I guess $1 should be an easy to achieve target. Staking system is also pretty cool, should drive the price more because of less LRC in circulation.
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: December 04, 2017, 12:38:12 PM
So how is Bitconnect doing... I recently read that there is some civil case opened against bitconnect in the UK and that they will be taking all of the companys funds into costudy. Somebody know anything about it? Or was it just FUD?
1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: December 04, 2017, 11:57:09 AM
EOS has a completely unique structure for its ICO, it is a year long sale, they sell batches of tokens within 'rounds'.
Honestly I prefer this over most token sale models, removes the FOMO and allows me to make a rational decision.

On the one side I agree with you, reducing the fomo that is artifcially created in tokensales with hard cap is a good thing. But on the other side I dont know if the pricing structure is the best: collecting as much money as possible every round (day) for 365 rounds is so much money raised in the end. I still dont see why a blockchain software company would need billions of funding without even having a mvp. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to FUD, just some honest critique of an investor.
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: December 04, 2017, 11:52:52 AM
Awesome to see Siacoin recovering from 50 sats, but as many of us also did, I bought in at 600 sats, indeed the BTC price was 5-6K back than but it will take some time to recover my investment, will hold a little bit more.
Anyone knows what are the news?

I feel you! I myself bought between 300 and 400 sats, but initial investment has almost diminished compared to the prices now. I will also just keep bagholding and hoping that my initial investment somehow manages to recover. People should get in SIA now, its really a bargain.
1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: December 04, 2017, 04:17:36 AM
I'd like to add to this that there are GOOD places to put your money and BAD places. STRATIS is a horrible place to invest your money into due to the problems right now.

Yeah you made definitely a valid point here. I hope that this SIA investment was a good place and my bagholding will pay off in the end. As I said I stayed away from stratis because I missed that train, and am now also not going to invest in it anytime soon. Just was curious how things are going for stratis and as it seems: not so well. What are the current problems you are reffering to?
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are best day trading alts on: December 04, 2017, 04:14:27 AM
The coins you mentioned are both airdropped right? I wonder how long this market will last. Good for you that you were able to make profits off them, because most airdrops die after a short time. My favourite coins to day trade at the moment are SIA and AE.
1358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its now the time to sell bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 04:12:30 AM
For me the rise of Bitcoin was too fast. I think that a correction will happen any time soon and therefore its maybe a good choice to sell now as long as it is still ~$11,000, Im not an expert, but my gut feeling tells me that growth should be organic, and $1000 in one day definitely isnt good. So I hedge in fiat and wait for the correction, if it does go up higher, I still made enough profit.
1359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Even at 10kUSD, Bitcoin is undervalued by more than 67,000% on: December 04, 2017, 03:57:00 AM
I think comparing Bitcoin value with potential adoption is hard to make, since the market is only driven by supply and demand and the price is artificial. A bitcoin stays a bitcoin, no matter how much one pays for it. Sure when there is more adoption and therefore demand the price will go up. But not endlessly. This makes no sense to me, otherwise we would need to give Bitcoin more decimals and I dont know if that would be even possible. As far as I know its fixed at 8, and to be honest, thats enough.
1360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OAX] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: December 04, 2017, 02:31:28 AM
I like the openANX project and keep an eye on it for some time now. Do you guys think it will take off anytime soon? I want to enter at some point, but on the other hand I have not enough funds to get into it now. Earliest entry could be beginning of next year for me. Hopefully it will still be a bargain by then.
