1601  Economy / Economics / Re: Will it be profitable to purchase BTC or ETH for fiat right now on: November 29, 2017, 11:51:01 PM
Hello,
I have some money to invest in cryptos. Nevertheless, in last 3 month BTC did x3, ETH did x1.5. I`m not sure if it will grow anymore... What do you think?

I think you opened this thread on the right day, as it seems the long needed correction is taking place right in this moment. You will likely find a good entry point in the coming days. I would be happy to have fresh fiat to bring in now!
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dash hit $1000 by January? on: November 29, 2017, 11:48:24 PM
Hi guys, Dash Price Resumes Uptrend Toward $500 https://www.chainhub.com/news/78502. Am here to be educated, can someone please explain some of the factors that contributes to Dash's sudden uptrend this past weeks? What's the future of DASH?

I think yes, definitely possible that DASH will hit $1000 by january. It has huge momentum as it seems and this is likely to continue. Today all top 50 marketcap coins where red, only DASH up by 15% when I last checked. GOGO DASH!
1603  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k? Too fast or just hyped? on: November 29, 2017, 11:41:08 PM
Are you worried with the current pace of the rise in pricing of Bitcoin? Is it too fast? Are we expecting a dormant Q1 of next year? Any speculation? Share your thoughts below.

Definitely too fast. In my opinion there should have been a rise until $5000 until the end of 2017. A constant organic rise. The way it actually soared up is not healthy, I guess everybody with some common sense has to agree here.
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All MAJOR exchanges are down!! What is going on?? on: November 29, 2017, 11:38:52 PM
Bitcoin price has now reached $9,750.I think its due to a correction in price.I read that some body mistakenly sold off his huge volume of bitcoins for just $10 each. That might be a spark for price fall and newbies would have got panic as usual as they do on seeing price fall and would have started to sell continuusly. That might be a reason.

If thats true, condolences to that guy. Selling bitcoin at $10 when it is actually traded at 10K must hurt badly. But thats the thing with controlling your money, you and solely you are responsible for your actions. About the exchanges issue: I didnt encounter any issues today using kraken.
1605  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT Scam/Theft - waiting five months on $10000 on: November 29, 2017, 11:36:07 PM
As I have read many scam reports about small exchanges like yobit, cryptopia and liqui I stay away from them most of the time. I only use them if there is no other way to do what I want and then only do my business in small batches, so far I have not encountered any problems myself. It seems like this happens mostly with larger amounts.
1606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't Spend Too Much Time Trading? is that true? on: November 29, 2017, 11:33:21 PM
My opinion on this is: only trade when you are serious about what you are doing, and know what you are doing. For example trade when you want to cancel a position or trade when you want to buy. Fix entry and exit points and stick to them. I made a lot of mistakes myself and now prefer hodling over trading, has payed off nicely eversince.
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TRIG] TRIG Token - Blocksafe Foundation on: November 29, 2017, 11:17:28 PM

Yes indeed   Sad
Could anyone explain me what the prerequisites for growth?
And yes, I saw the roadmap and read the white papers.

In crypto the prequisites for growth are a small small market cap, not too big of a total supply of coins/tokens, demand for the coin/token, hype around it. Guess thats it.
1608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big of a role does privacy play? on: November 29, 2017, 11:11:10 PM
Privacy is important yes, but I don't need complete anonymity. While you use visa, bank transfers and other fiat methods you don't care about the anonymity part do you? Unless you are doing something illegal I don't think there is any reason to be worried about anonymity.

Indeed we sacrifice our anonymity when we use wire transfers and creditcards. But question is: do we do this because we want to do, or do we do this because we have no other choice? I do nothing illegal at all, not with crypto and not with fiat. But I still want the right to stay anonymous if I want to. I dont want to expose my identity to every shop I purchase something from and I dont want to expose my identity to individuals when I buy something on ebay. I bet you would also not be happy if you had to fill in all your personal information everytime you go shopping in a store you didnt went to before, do you? Furthermore all this big data can backfire once, we are giving up our identity so easily, because we dont see any bad in it. But what will happen when a corrupt government comes into power in your country and uses all this big data against you? Bet you wish that you stayed anonymous in some cases than. Best example for this was when the nazis invaded the netherlands, they just had to check the newly implemented stamp card system to find all the jews they were looking for. The jews didnt think anything could happen to them when they gave away their religion to those cards. Hope you understand what I want to show with this example.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [BQX] Bitquence: Universal Wallet and Value Management Platform on: November 29, 2017, 10:51:57 PM

Hi. Bitquence have changed name to Ethos.

Check out:
https://www.ethos.io

Thanks for the answers guys. Checked out the website seems quite nice. Seems like it has had quite a run in october, hopefully it will take off again soon. Why was it rebranded? And yes should definitely change the topics name, thats confusing.
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: November 29, 2017, 10:45:56 PM
What are your thoughts on Stox as the first smart token on Bancor Network? Do you think this was a good decision or not as a first project? Until now, ICO investors in Stoxs are pretty screwed over by it. Do you think this is in some kind related to Bancor?

First Smart Token on Network was GNO with GNOBNT Relay, which is live since the beginning of October, and we can call it successful, since third biggest trading volume for Gnosis is on Bancor (just after Poloniex and Bittrex). I don't know the story behind Stox investors, but the token can only benefit from more volume and more attention from Protocol integration. Can you elaborate more about the situation with Stox?

I didnt invest in STOX eighter, just thought they were the first "real" smart token that has BNT as a reserve currency. Afaik Gnosis was traded before bancor was born and has no BNT or other currencies in reserve and therefore is no smart token right? Please correct me if Im wrong. But with Stox, long story short, the price fell constantly ever since ICO and it seems not to recover at all. I was in the Telegram group some time ago and there the tone was not really nice. Dont know what will happen with this project. Maybe it was because Floyd Mayweather promoted this project that buyers stayed away. For me that was a red flag too. Not that this guy does not know how to make money, I mean its in his name, but you know...
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Quantstamp - The First Decentralized Smart Contract Security Platform on: November 29, 2017, 10:38:18 PM
If this project succeed, It will be a breakthrough for the crypto community. This shouldnt be a pump and dump coin. Stay on the train if you beleive in the project

Finally grabbed some QSP today, I will hold them long term, at least until end of 2018. Unfortunately I didnt manage to buy the bottom although I thought I would. Whats your expectations by end of 2017? Will we reach 15cents again?
1612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: November 29, 2017, 10:25:36 PM
Ark is run by scam artists.

Is this so? Could you elaborate a bit for me what makes them scammers? I actually have no idea about their team, just read that ARK shall be a solid project as well and the things that they are promising are quite tempting too. So I would much appreciate if you elaborate, before I buy a scam.
1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: November 29, 2017, 09:46:54 PM

10,000 but it's really not worth buying that many just to do that. You won't make any regular money with it. There are many blocks without fees still.

Okay, 10,000 is a number I am not willing to buy now anyways, but thank you very much for the information. Its just the POI method in general that is really cool compared to other mining methods that exist. Its a unique approach of fairness to all participants of the network, no matter if they have big money bags or not.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: November 29, 2017, 09:45:18 PM
Damn, of the whole top 50 on coinmarketcap currently, only Dash shows green.
On the other hand : why am i not surprised ? Roll Eyes

Indeed you are right, and number 51 SNT also shows green. But back to topic: DASH will break that $1000 sooner than we might think. Maybe it can break it even this year?
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: November 29, 2017, 07:54:04 PM
unbeliveable to see dash at such an ATH!
Guys hold to the coin HODL until it reaches the next step of 1000$,
this is amazing, its not just for fun the best masternode coin on the crypto market.
I hope to see it as soon as possible on the 1000$ mark. The coming year will be an interesting one.
regards

Most certainly you will be right with this prediction. DASH hitting $1000 is easy in 2018. This recent surge was just amazing. Im happy to still hold some Dash and never used them for anything yet and this will likely stay like that, just sit and grow you value precious dash!
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: November 29, 2017, 07:49:51 PM
All of the links are safe, don't worry. Cheers

Good that you told that, it makes me calm  Wink

But seriously regarding to latest scam wallet website - don't visit any untrusted links!

Second this! If you have been victim of phishing once you wont click them anymore, no matter who tells you how "safe" they are.

But to Lisk, I wonder if you think Lisk will touch 60k sats anytime soon? It would be a real good entry right? Im no TA trader, so maybe you guys can give me some advice if you think thats possible or not?
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: November 29, 2017, 07:44:46 PM
Just read some about NEM's POI, I love the idea of distribution and giving everyone the same opportunity to find the next block. In my opinion this is way superior to POS, but I must admit I dislike POS in general because it only makes the already wealthy more rich. NEM fights against this with POI and this is great! Can anybody tell me how many NEM I need to participate in POI mining?
1618  Economy / Goods / Re: Tables and countertops from exotic types of wood on: November 29, 2017, 06:57:37 PM
I dont need a table at the moment, but I love to see that people are incentiviced to offer their goods and services for crypto. Its a step in the right direction. You are definitely doing the right thing, keep it up.
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [BQX] Bitquence: Universal Wallet and Value Management Platform on: November 29, 2017, 06:55:16 PM
Bitquence seems like a nice project to me, although I cant find it on coinmarketcap. Can somebody give me a hint how to find it ? On which exchanges is BQX traded? Thanks in advance.
1620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for Bitcoin Value Increase on: November 29, 2017, 06:52:59 PM
I think the reason for the constant increase is that Bitcoin has a really strong momentum. Big investors are entering the crypto space besides of more and more normal people. There is a lot of fomo and this combined makes the market bullish on bitcoin. Everyone wants his share. You have to keep in mind that the total market cap rose from around 50 Billion to over 300 Billion recently. This is a huge increase of total market cap and as Bitcoin is still dominant with over 50%, its likely to increase even more. But nobody can know for sure.
