2281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If Tether dies, will Bitfinex go with it? and what about our $s? on: June 02, 2019, 09:25:02 PM
I think for users who are still into Bitfinex and still your account balance is able to move freely outside from their exchange it's best if you do it as soon as possible because sooner rather than later when things go down deeper with their situation the worst thing that could happen is all of your accounts will be freeze from all the commotion that is happening with them. There is really no reason now to lie idle with them because if you qant to protect your capital you better do the smart thing and move it out from them.
2282  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: I wonder if this is the reasonable motive why Cryptopia goes bankcrupt on: June 02, 2019, 08:21:40 PM
Basically when a company declares to be bankrupt all their liabilities for their shareholders are only limited to the existing assets they have which means after selling all their assets the money they will get from that is then divided equally to the shareholders the company have. If you have proven that Cryptopia is only doing this to steal your money then you have to show it but I doubt they are really covering it up with bankruptcy since they got really hacked and a lot of their users' funds have been stolen from their system.
2283  Other / Meta / Re: [UNBAN APPEAL] account newinbtc on: June 02, 2019, 06:46:28 PM
It's really not for us to decide whether or not you will be unbanned from the forum and the question is will all the contributions you have made in the forum will outweigh the multiple times you did plagiarism in the forum? Because from what I see you plagiarized more posts compared to the good you did in the forum. theymos will really be the one to decide if you are worthy of a second chance and not us.
2284  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: need guidance brandnew to this forum on: June 02, 2019, 05:48:35 PM
I think the forum is pretty straightforward for you to be guided towards it. With all the topics put into the right section all you have to do is to either search it within the forum or use Google as a search tool for the topics. If you haven't find exactly the topic you are looking for or any topic anywhere near it then you can create a topic of your own. If you are done with the Beginners and Help section you can go to either the Trading Discussion and the Speculation section to learn some things about investing in the crypto market.
2285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Satoshi filed claim for Bitcoin Whitepaper on: June 01, 2019, 08:27:23 PM
Literally anyone can claim that they are Satoshi Nakamoto since there are no clues to dispute their claims such as the nationality, facial features, or even what blood type Satoshi Nakamoto is they can't really ignore this claimants. That's the bad thing about Satoshi Nakamoto being anonymous because he is so mysterious that anyone could step in and might be identified as Satoshi and with how our legal system works I know that even if don't have enough proof that he is Satoshi Nakamoto he could still be successful on claiming it.
2286  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to bitcoin in india on: June 01, 2019, 06:20:20 PM
Before it can only be traded to other cryptocurrencies and cannot be use as a kind of cryptocurrency in India but from what I see in the news now the RBI is now also targeting their crypto exchanges blocking them through banks which don't allow their users to cash out via bank deposits. Now they will be screening cryptocurrencies on which can be traded in their country so really the situation in India is really hard to explain since there is still a lot of things going through and none of them are still official.
2287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week on: May 30, 2019, 10:06:01 PM
The question is do we really need that much speed with us. We are moving forward and that is a great thing but I honestly do not prefer it this way. We can go up quickly but that would only make things more complicated in the future, as soon as prices go up the fee's go up as well and there are a lot more money on hot wallets of exchanges which is terrible for security and all that which makes it difficult to stay that high.

However, if we can just slow this down and instead of going up 10% in a day why don't we just go up like 50 bucks a day on average for a month, that is like 1500 dollar increase which we had even more in the recent months so its not unexpected of bitcoin to rise 1500 in a month. If we gonna hit 10 thousand dollars instead of staying around the same price for 29 days and increasing in 1 day only shouldn't be the method.
At this point I only see individual goals setting in plan by these people, they don't really care about what will happen next to BTC as long as they hit the target price which in this case is 10,000$. That is why they always want to see BTC moving up they and they aren't concerned about the damage it will do as soon as it repeats its movement last December 2017. We might be all happy seeing Bitcoin back up above 8,500$ now but it would only take one dump from the whales to bring us back down.
2288  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-31] Bundesbank: Blockchain Slow, Expensive, Not A Breakthrough on: May 30, 2019, 09:13:38 PM
Are we even gonna give this guy our attention? I mean just by saying Blockchain is slow he clearly doesn't know what he is talking about. If he believes what it thinks it is then no company would be filing their patent security for their own versions of blockchain, no country will be adapting Blockchain in their own government's systen, and no Blockhain related courses will be made available. Just to think a guy is holding a big position on a well respected country is truly a disappointing thing to see, he can't even get his opinion right.
2289  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: G20 Regulations not a good thing. on: May 30, 2019, 08:39:40 PM
Not everything is set in stone yet because the last news I have seen is the G20 is talking about regulation in terms of protection of the users itself and that includes a license requirement for any crypto related business in the industry as well as an enforced KYC for all the users. The G20 is more focus on the protection of the crypto-assets itself since it has been one of the most targeted assets by criminals around the world and they are only concerned for their own citizens' money. They are more focus on regulation now since a lot of the countries part in the G20 don't even have a legal framework to begin with.
2290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rumors confirmed: Binance margin trading coming soon on: May 30, 2019, 07:53:00 PM
This is what Binance should do in order to level with their competition but even if they put margin trading available in their platform only a few skilled trader could take advantage of the feature because margin trading isn't really for everyone, even skilled traders couldn't pull of a profit from it. If you think that regular trading is hard then you should think that margin trading is twice as hard as you will be trading with borrowed funds from the exchange and that comes with an interest.
2291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: May 30, 2019, 07:01:59 PM
Somehow i also think that he really wants a rematch against Floyd Mayweather that's why it's like he's fighting everything on each way to reach that goal. Cheesy Or maybe he just likes to fight since it is his passion since he was young before. I'm still waiting and wondering about his retirement, though he doesn't look too old though and still has the speed and power. This fight of him might be controversial again if there is something wrong happen inside the ring.
He is really open to fighting anyone big really, that's why he immediately accepted a fight against Thurman as its one of the biggest names that challenge him even on a short notice. Based from what I have seen he is also wanting to have a rematch against Jeff Horn as for me its really a controversial win for Horn who even the ref talk to his corner warning him to show something in the match but at the end Manny still loses the fight. But Floyd will be his biggest rematch fight if this happens and I think fans wants to see this before he retires.
2292  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Google Adwords -- is it opened for crypto projects? on: May 30, 2019, 06:33:42 PM
Yes. I'll keep going on this searching...
But in any case Google Adwords would be the best way to get warm traffic for any subject... :-(
It's definitely the best and economical way to do so but the thing is you don't have that choice for your project. That's why a lot of project have resorted to doing ad campaigns on a different way and that incolves a lot of participants showing ads to social media sites, Youtube videos, medium articles and even reddit posts. Even though you can't directly post your ad with their banner spaces this is a good alternative to be seen by site users. The downside is you also need to have a bigger budget for that.
2293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Single best piece of advice for a beginner on Bitcoin Talk? on: May 30, 2019, 06:01:52 PM
always hang out to Beginners & Help section and Meta Section.

The posts in these sections will greatly help you to familiarize with blockchain technology (in the Beginners & Help Section) and the culture and features of this forum (in the Meta Section).
Uhmm, no. The meta section isn't about topics about the blockchain nor it talks about it all of the time. The Meta section is for topics about the forum and its related activities itself and it doesn't really talk about cryptocurrencies. Aside from the beginners help section if OP wants to learn more about cryptocurrencies in general he should try and read topics in the Development and technical discussion and the technical support section as he will get a wide idea on how things work.
2294  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to open Singapore fiat-to-crypto exchange in April on: May 30, 2019, 04:28:15 PM
Well in terms of the advantages for the Singaporeans having Binance become a local company in their country is definitely good news. It only means cash out and cash in methods for their trades have become much easier for them. Binance might have known beforehand that they have a big number of users in Singapore that is why they were able to decide in becoming locally available for them.
2295  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Google Adwords -- is it opened for crypto projects? on: May 29, 2019, 08:09:30 PM

Does this answer your question? A simple use of their Google search engine you will see the ads directly related to what you are searching, a simple search of the words "shoes" or "bag" you will see some ads from related to them. But based from what I have searched Google ads on shows crypto related exchanges not ICOs from projects. Google might have change their restrictions and allowed exchanges to advertise in their program but they still are strict on other projects especially ICOs.
2296  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Satoshi Line Up, Pick from most likey to least likely. on: May 29, 2019, 07:06:41 PM
TimeBits might be on to something here. Maybe its really just a random guy in Twitter and what else do we know about Twitter? Jack Dorsey is a known supporter to Bitcoin he even have created a payment channel based from it. Jack Dorsey might have seen Satoshi's DMs and found out shit so now he is vocally supporting BTC because of him. But kidding aside among all the choices he provided Satoshi might probably be using Twitter beforehand so the chances are he is just really a random guy in Twitter.
2297  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-28] John McAfee: Bitcoin Time Traveler Proof BTC Will Hit $1 Million on: May 29, 2019, 06:20:20 PM
This "time traveler" could have said much more important things to what would happen to the world he instead just indicated a price for Bitcoin which is surely not believable especially when it is coming from the mouth of McAfee the man who have said he will reveal the true identity of Satoshi, he even put a deadline for it but we all know how it went down and nothing really happened. So its still really up to you if you will believe this mad man who plans to run for president in the U.S.A. hahaha.
2298  Other / Meta / Re: [BAN] Sr. Member tvplus006 - 459 merits [all earned] on: May 29, 2019, 03:52:13 PM
I think the next step for your ban appeal is probably admitting that you did plagiarized a content and how sorry you are for that mistake. After that your ban appeal must contain how you have contributed in the forum when you were still an active member. The appeal really still depends on what theymos thinks about the case so you aren't really losing anything for trying.
2299  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: easy bite for scammers on: May 28, 2019, 08:41:59 PM
As much as we want to see them rot in jail there is too much people involve. Since they are internet scammers then chances are the victims are living on a different country where the scammers are making the legal jurisdiction a mess. I don't know how's the procedure on internet frauds but involving other jurisdictions with afew victims seems to be not so important to the. Especially when they are other more high cases to be prioritize. I would rather want to see us prepare more on prevention rather than focusing on catching them one by one.
2300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How powerful is bigpumpsignal's? (BPS) on: May 28, 2019, 07:52:11 PM
Powerful? Are you even serious? If we are talking about pumping shitcoins yes they can do it and they are powerful to do so as they are the only ones participating the price movements. But if we are talking about big cap coins such as BTC, ETH, or even Litecoin then you will see that they are powerless and don't really have any influence in the market. They just pump shittycoins and if you don't get out in time you are stuck with that shitty coin forever.
