2301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just one damned question on: June 14, 2017, 07:09:23 PM
Because they don't want to waste a lot of money with transactions fees. They don't bother to wait some hours or few days to have it completed, but sometimes their prediction fail and the transaction took much more time to complete, until being canceled.

I don't know if they start panic and pay $100 to have their transaction confirmed later, if the reason to pay low fees is to save money, makes no sense to pay high amounts later...
2302  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: June 14, 2017, 06:49:41 PM
I don't think cash will disappear, it's very useful and it will continue being. Technology is expensive and a cashless society too. Poor countries would have difficulty to implement it. Even cash being expensive to print, it's cheaper than the costs of a cashless society.

Also, I don't think it would reduce the criminality, only the focus of criminals would change, instead of steal people on the streets they would focus in cyber attacks, hacking the systems to steal the virtual currencies. It already exist but not so much, because the adoption is still low, but I already see kidnappings asking for rescue in Bitcoins.
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: June 14, 2017, 06:38:44 PM
With gambling everything is clear. It is pure mathematics. If you play only to win like in any lottery it is everything about luck. If you play like in poker or sports bettings is much more about your experience and skills. Nothin more to say..

Yes, luck, skill and analysis are the most important things in gambling, but luck always has a big role in anything. And true the lottery is a game that is 100% dependent on luck. And sport betting and poker are not so dependent on luck, but still depend on luck though not too big.
yes i also agree with you . i will give more preference to luck in gambling. although skill, experience and knowledge are important tool in some format of gambling but still we mostly depend on our luck for not only for gambling but for everything in our life. although some gambling games are there where we totally depend on our luck and there is no role of our experience and skill.

All the gambling games depend luck, without it you won't have profit, doesn't matter the strategy being used. The only exception is the sports betting which you need to have luck on short term to have profit, but on long term surely your prediction skills will count a lot. It's not always the weak teams or players win the sports game, it's rarely to happen...
2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: June 14, 2017, 05:57:46 AM
Every happening always a wisdom even if not experience it. From gambling, i can take lesson that its very painful when the money we have earned with difficulty disappeared in the air in short time. Because ratio of losing is always greater than winning. Loss money also loss time.

Yes, that is a painful lesson... But it's possible to learn to don't use hard money earned to gamble. People should gamble only with money they can afford to lose, that they don't need to buy basic things os to pay bills. The gambling money is the same money you use to go to the movies, to buy hobby stuff for yourself, to travel... Things that aren't of primarily necessity.
2305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I always lose all my tokens and btc on gambling~ on: June 14, 2017, 03:22:44 AM
I guess, gambling is not actually for me.
I kinda feel bad on all the tokens wasted on gambling but it's kinda my "when I'm bored" hobby.
Do you guys have any tips on how to not to lose all you tokens on gambling?
I don't think there is a way to not lose your tokens. We cannot say that we can win/lose when we enter gambling, it is depend on luck most of the time. So when youbare already losing all your token I think better to stop because that is not your day.
you need to fix a limit for your gambling and never try to cross that limit because gambling is such kind of gambling where you can lose everything if you do not have any planning for gambling. therefore it is too much important to have good planning for playing gambling.
We need to fix one amount before playing gambling, yes you are right but how many are following their plans when they are in live betting. Planning and strategy everyone will make, but only a few people will follow that method. We can not stop losing BTC is gambling. Only our selfcontrol will help us to stop our play. You don't have selfcontrol then never play gambling it is very dangerous. You lose more money.

People imagine a strategy, but at some point they stop following it because there isn't worthful strategy, the only way to stop the loss is to stop gambling. Sometimes the game looks amazing, Dice rolling, profit coming, we think it will last for a good time, but we need just one long loss streak to finish the good luck wave... And then the strategy failed, or you stop playing or you lose all your money.
2306  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What are the main Bitcoin scams and how do you protect yourself against them? on: June 14, 2017, 02:25:34 AM
Even being very cautious we are still in danger when dealing with Crypto-Currency online. Some menaces are easy to avoid, like the malware downloads, the Ponzi HYIP schemes (Cloud mining), but some are hard to predict sometimes, like the exchanges and investments.

There are good and reputable exchanges, but at some point they can disappear without warnings and there is nothing you can do. I know I can let my money out of there, but if I'm trading, I need to have some money there and no one knows exactly when the scam will happen.

The investments are good too, but no one know eith 100% sure if they will last forever or not, so it's always risky to join one, but necessary at same time.
2307  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: June 14, 2017, 01:54:04 AM
Lets now put our feet back on the ground. Think of this. Whos stupid enough to spend such a small
amount and consider it an investment? Its a joke. Its better to gamble with the 0.1 BTC and hope to get lucky.

Lol, 0.1 BTC isn't too low...  Cheesy

About $300 dollars if we wait a bit more. For some people it's a lot and represents a month minimum wage. I think 0.1 BTC is a good amount to start an investment, every month or week you can add more money to the investment, slowly you can make it powerful!

You can gamble a bit too, maybe making 5%-10% of profit over it and stopping after can be a good idea, but just if you can afford the loss. So, you can invest 0.1 BTC + 5%-10% from gambling profit.

Is this Monaco Visa legit service?

Is there any place where we can read more about it?
2309  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo fees is too high. on: June 13, 2017, 09:40:43 PM
By the way, I noticed one more bad thing about Xapo. I had to receive 0.001 btc, but received only 0.0002. There was attached message:
Since this transaction is is equal to or less than BTC 0.00146979, a fee has been charged to cover the costs of the bitcoin network.
But earlied they charged only transactions smaller than 0.0003 btc and now fee is increased. And transaction fee was already paid by sender, so why Xapo also have to charge fees?
It's enough for me, I'm leaving Xapo and moving bitcoins to other wallet.

So they are charging fees of lower transactions, but not charging from big transactions? The little transactions are paying the fees for everyone's transactions, it's not a good way to do business... Xapo wanted to be different from other online services, but they became worse than all. It's not a small transaction friendly online wallet.
2310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making easy gambling site on: June 13, 2017, 09:20:11 PM
Making a gambling site is not that easy. You need a lot of starting capital to buy slot licences and to hire developers which develop, adapt, maintain and secure the site.
You should better use a dice script for your coin. Those open source dice script are freely available and easy to install and run. One for example is https://github.com/felinegambler/CryptoDice

I am interested in knowing if there was any way to make a crypto gambling site for our Pandacoin. Thanks guys.

This could be an option for who doesn't have money to invest initially or a professional team to work on this project, but I must say these free scripts aren't very interesting and people usually don't have interest in playing this way.

It's like the default script faucet, it's very common and people don't think it nice, they prefer the creative faucets, original ones, with different features, designs... The same applies to casinos. To make it nice and attractive the originality is very important. I'm not saying it won't work, just that the risk is a bit high.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New ways of organizing gambling websites on: June 13, 2017, 08:57:46 PM
What is your attitude to altcoin-based casinos? And are there many you know of? Do you think such things could make the world of gambling better?

I don't gamble with Alt-Coins, so it's not interesting for me.

There are Crypto-Games accepting Alt-Coins with exchange in site to convert coins fast, JustDice CLAM Dice, Burst Casino, that is the casinos I know accepting Alts.

It could make online gambling better, because gamblers have more options to choose which way to play, with BTC or Alt-Coins, not everyone likes to gamble with Alts, but at least people can have this option, it can help Crypto-Currency casinos to attract more players.

2312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is hoarding bitcoins good or bad for it's growth? on: June 13, 2017, 08:13:52 PM
Nothing in excess is good, the same apply to holding Bitcoin. The main point of the list in my opinion is:

1. Since bitcoins are limited in numbers, holding would obviously increase the demand and thus the price.

That is what determines the price, the demand and the supply, if people don't spend it a lot, there will be more people trying to buy BTCs and less sellers, so the price of BTC will increase and I believe everyone who is inside the game likes it. It makes Bitcoin more valuable and helps to make even more people have interest in Bitcoin, searching for it to buy.

On the another hand, if too many people hold it, newbies won't enter the game, and Bitcoin can become a small circle of members, delaying the global adoption.

2314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are transaction delays crashing Bitcoin prices? on: June 13, 2017, 01:39:55 AM
I don't think it's the reason why BTC price drops. If that was true the price wouldn't recover every new day.

Transaction costs increasing could make people hold it more (until the price of transaction decreases), so people will want to buy it, but there won't be many sellers, so the price would increase, because the supply isn't enough for the demand.

Price is decreasing and recovering every new day, I think it's normal and the market is very balanced between supply and demand, it just need to find a common sense to stabilize the price once again like in the past.
2315  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: why is there no cloud-mining now? on: June 13, 2017, 12:08:44 AM
I believe because it became a very hard niche to get in. You have much expenses, big investment, need to have access to sustainable electricity cost or sources. People looking for creating their own businesses maybe found another ways to do it, cloud mining is something that stayed in the past...

Also, I think possible new cloud mining owners may think they will have difficulties to find new investors, as this kind of investment is saturated and most people in Crypto-Currency world wouldn't invest their money on it, as other's experiences were terrible.
2316  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I wanted to ask, what are the best sites are mining. on: June 12, 2017, 10:59:21 PM
What are the best sites mining? Surely, they are mining Bitcoin and Ethereum.  Smiley

For the business owner it's very profitable if he has many equipments, cheap electricity, big room to store everything. But for investors it's not good. People promoting these sites are just trying to get some referrals and earn some comission over them, maybe to recover their predictable losses as investors. Stay away from cloud mining investments and you will be fine.
2317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 12, 2017, 09:47:58 PM
It is too early to talk about 4000. We see feverish race of bitcoin. Every day its price is around 300-400 dollars. Probably it is the work of whales. But the price always returns to the old place because all of the guardians of bitcoin is accustomed to such fluctuations and keep their savings. So their efforts are futile.

That is what is happening. To start thinking about $4000, I think the first step is to stabilize Bitcoin. The variations are still to high and I believe we are facing the consequences of the big pump few weeks ago. The price didn't recover itself completely, it's a good moment to speculate, male profit trading while still waiting the solid increase in price again. Let's see how long it will take to start increasing solid again.
2318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ICO for a real business, any interest ? on: June 12, 2017, 09:18:37 PM
It is a legit business with real revenues already (around 500k€ last year), we started it with an initial investment of 10k€ and it has been profitable since day 1. It took us time to figure out the market but the opportunity is pretty interesting as we are the leaders and will probably remain the only operator in the field in Europe. The idea for me is to keep the investment backed by ETH and transform some of it to pay for the different investments we are going to make (marketing, r&d, development in other european countries). I don't know if there are any financial products that could help hedge the investment to make it easy to convert generated revenues from EUR to ETH, any ideas mrcash02 ?

I have no ideas, because I don't know even what your business is... You need to explain better what is your business, in which field you are operating, what it does, how it generates profit, if possible, tell us the country, show pictures, every information helps investors to conclude if it's a good offer or not.

You have already a big yearly profit, why do you need investors money?

Checking some threads at Securities section can give you some idea about how to create a thread about this kind of subject.
2319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ICO for a real business, any interest ? on: June 12, 2017, 08:06:43 PM
If it's a legit business with proofs and the rates are nice I would be glad to try it.

Are you saying hypothetically or do you have plans to start a business?
2320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 12, 2017, 07:16:36 PM
Yeah there will be situations where in lack of experience can turn our good luck around for the worse. The importance of experience in gambling is way beyond just knowing how to win, but how to handle your gambling activity in general. This includes making wise decisions on how to manage your money as well as being composed in tight situations without panicking.

Do you even that desperate to need any experience to tell you when to stop betting or something like that? You could stop anytime you feel like it and it is not going to give you any advantage at all. The game is totally random so even if you have tons of knowledge or experience , it wont really help you at all

But usually newbie people don't know when to stop, only with experience in game they will learn it. The long loss streak seems improbable for most people who start playing the Dice game for the first time. After few losses they learn it's impossible to use Martingale strategy. That is experience and it's experience what makes people avoid big losses, at least those normal people, because the sick addicted will continue committing the same mistakes forever.
