1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: September 04, 2017, 07:22:34 PM
Alright so I am running the experiment again but bigger this year. I will be starting with 43 Bitcoins in the locations below:

Holy 43 bitcoins as total investment on gambling sites. It's worth more than $100,000 as you have promised (it's worth around $188,598 (rate : $4386/btc))
Will this turned into $1,000,000 in the end of week 52 on next year?  Cool

Lets see! Would be nice to get to the $1,000,000 over the next year for sure  Cool

Im not trying to be skeptical but atleast you need to make sure that those site you invested on would still be running until next year  Smiley. With the price soaring high right now, it is hard for some people to gamble and thus this means there will be a little drop in the wagered amount which means less profit as well

That is a fair point. I have noticed over the last month that the betting volume has dropped a bit. Plus with BetKing opening up again some of the other sites might not get the same volume.

When BTC price is too unstable the gambling volume drops (at least BTC volume), with the reopening of BetKing casino many gamblers can left the crowdfunded casinos to play there, it's true. These are two reasons that could make the investment more difficult on the sites accepting investments on their bankrolls.

But Bitcoin gambling industry isn't on its full adoption yet. There are many gamblers that don't know Bitcoin and like to gamble online, but with fiat. Each new day more people become aware about Crypto-Currency and start adopting it. So I believe there are much money and many gamblers for all the Crypto casino sites we have today, world's gamblers just need to start using Crypto-Currency.

And even gamblers left the traditional casinos we are investing to start playing at BetKing or any other of the same kind I'm not sure if they will stay there forever. Gamblers like to play at several casinos, a little on each one. When someone loses money on a casino, he will probably try his luck on another one and so on. There are much money on this industry, I think everyone can be happy in the end...
1482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Government Must be Winning! on: September 04, 2017, 07:09:56 PM
It's an easy war for the government. They say, everyone follows what they order. One of two persons can decline and follow their own convictions, but they are too weak and have no power against the government. If governments want Bitcoin illegal or regulated, it will be. For most people the war didn't start yet, but when it starts the winner will be always the strongest side, the government.
1483  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New Faucet For Bitcoin on: September 04, 2017, 04:39:48 PM
Glad you fixed the suspicious link. 20 satoshis sent to FaucetHub.io, thanks. It's a low reward for hourly faucet, I think tooks too much time to claim because we need to wait 30 seconds after solving captcha and more 30 seconds after solving anti-bot links.
Anyway there isn't any intrusive pop-up, people like it.
1484  Economy / Speculation / Re: the likelihood that bitcoin will see a correction at 5000$ on: September 04, 2017, 04:06:16 PM
What I have noticed before is this : People set certain goals and when they reach that goal, they adjust their goals to something else. Some traders might set a goal to reach a $5000 bitcoin price. They will push fiat, until they reach that point and then they will sell and this is probably when you see a correction. < people taking profits at a specific price point >

Then they set new goals < $6000 per bitcoin > and the process are repeated.

You're right on this, this is very similar to a loop or cycle. The things are repeating themselves. We saw correction after 5k $ and now we'll probably targeting above 6k $. After that, we'll see another correction, and then we'll target 7k $.

That is true, but each looping takes too much time to happen, when the correction comes we usually see the price increasing very slow, stable or decreasing and recovering everyday a bit only. The cycles are made of loopings and always go up on long term, but they don't happen so fast (at least until now they didn't happen so fast). I believe the price will stay around $4000 (or a bit less) for sometime.

1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler destroyed on: September 03, 2017, 07:00:52 AM
I am the type of person who tries a few times and if I do not see results, I abandon (most of the time). I earn on average 10% of the bank per day. I'm out of town today, but tomorrow I want to play 1,000,000 hands. Only after that will I be able to tell whether it is profitable or not in the long run. I realize that at some point I'm likely to lose. Mathematically speaking, you can lose 10 hands at a time with a 95% chance. Here I agree that it is good luck, but I want to minimize the role of luck and maximize the role of discipline and calculations.

You need to try a strategy much more than few times if you want to reach on long term test. But doesn't matter the strategy you are going to use, you will always reach to a long loss streak after some time. Maybe OP is so excited about his strategy because he is trying it for 1 day or so. It's normal to have success on such period of time, but if he tries it for much time I'm sure he will lose all his money and everyone who follows the strategy the same.
1488  Economy / Services / Re: Newbie trying to do signatures on: September 03, 2017, 05:42:48 AM
I have seen this on Micro Earnings section at GameOfBitcoins thread, really nice, you have professional skills.

Even you don't want to charge money for your job now, don't forget to ask for donations, put your BTC address in public, people usually reward artists like you if there isn't a payment agreed. I'm sure you are very able to earn money from it.  Smiley

I had already thought about it, but I thought asking for donations sounded very disrespectful

Don't be so modest about it, it's not disrespect, you show your address, people who want to reward you will do it.  Wink

You don't need to ask them to do it, they will choose if they want or not. But it's just an idea, you are free to do what you want anyway, I just think your art is very good that some people maybe would like to reward you.  Smiley

1490  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to start? on: September 02, 2017, 11:52:37 PM
Services section isn't certain of profit everyday. Somedays are very good, you are able to find many tasks, complete them and make a nice profit, but other days you won't be able to find anything, so come back tomorrow, maybe you have more luck.

Or maybe you didn't find anything because you don't have a Twitter, Facebook account. Most tasks requirements are these social media accounts.

(Don't focus only on Signature Campaigns, every task paying in satoshi worths).
1491  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Increasing Very Fast! on: September 02, 2017, 04:41:52 PM
Bitcoin has already hit the 5K barrier on coindesk today, but it has been falling since then.
A correction like from many expected.
Many people who are not yet into bitcoin are observing the market and waiting for an opportunity to get coins.
I suppose the sell will go on a bit until sellers and newcomers will enter/reenter the market.
By the way, I just recognized that one month ago, we had not even hit the 3K barrier.

Wow, that was going very well hours ago... Price have already dropped $500 since then.
The perfect moment to sell Bitcoins is over, that was an excellent opportunity, who have sold for $4900-$5000 can wait now the right moment to buy again, let's see if the price will reach $4000 or less. Cautious traders will start buying soon their Bitcoins back.

This fall was predicted anyway, but as we don't know exactly when it happens, we must watch the charts all the time.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: September 02, 2017, 04:11:44 PM
Glad everyone has found it so useful! Will be starting it again soon! Trying to find more sites to invest in  Smiley

That is the problem now.

I'm seeing only two interesting sites: Crypto-Games and YoloDice. Others don't have enough gambler's traffic.

SafeDice too, although it is under attack right now. The BetKing and BitDice ICO are also rather interesting in my opinion..

I missed the train to invest on the ICOs, unfortunatelly. SafeDice needs more active support, last time I checked there was one gambler online, but continues legit anyway. I believe soon KingDice will come back stronger than ever, FreeBitco.in owner have bought the casino and he will be making some updates on the future. They are good managers on FreeBitco.in faucet, they have all conditions to boost KingDice with events, rewards, promotions...

Wow I did not know that. Do you have a link showing the change in ownership?

It's on their official thread, page 50: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1637134.980

On the following posts/pages there are some talk about it.
1493  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you predict when bitcoin price will saturated? on: September 02, 2017, 04:09:07 PM
It will become saturated when the demand starts declining. For some reason there are many people looking for buying Bitcoins now, I'm not sure why, maybe segwit upgrade? In my opinion the price is increasing too much and too fast, it's not normal... So expect a drop any moment soon. How farther it wil go it's hard to say, last time we have seen drop by $1900, that was a lot. Could it happen again on the same proportion?

You are not sure why? It is because Bitcoin is on every damn news channel around. The media has gone to town about the crazy returns in Bitcoin and a lot of people have become interested.

Seems the media interest on this is just a consequence of Bitcoin price and not the opposite.
If the price wasn't so high and increasing fast the media wouldn't be talking about it a lot.

1497  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] BTCLeets - Bitcoin PTC Ad Network ( $0.20 minimum payout to faucethub ) on: September 02, 2017, 01:53:58 AM
Good to see low minimum payout. Unfortunatelly possible to make up to $0.01 profit daily with this PTC panel, it takes 20 days to be able to cashout.
It's too hard to run PTC businesses these days, people are more interested on faucets which they can use few times per day.
1498  Economy / Economics / Re: How to invest in bitcoin? on: September 02, 2017, 01:46:15 AM
First you need to choose, do you want to invest money or time?

That means if you don't have money to invest in Bitcoins you can work online to get some satoshis and start your holding journey. Surely it's much easier to just buy some satoshis or Bitcoins and hold it, but it's not everyone who can do it. Then you should start reading the main threads on this forum to learn more about Bitcoin and be attentive to investment hints.

Visit Services section, there you can find some jobs and tasks to complete and earn some money. Visit Micro Earnings section, you may find some interesting offers there sometimes. When you have a good amount of satoshis you can sell it when BTC price is too high (consult experient people to know the right time). Then wait the price drops a bit, buy BTC again. Keep doing this and you will grow your BTC balance.

For AltCoin trading hints visit the respective section.
1499  Economy / Economics / Re: Fidelity called Bitcoin a "bubble" on: September 02, 2017, 12:47:59 AM
I have seen some people saying Bitcoin doesn't have intrinsic value, so it's a bubble. Bitcoin can die any moment, etc... Following this logic fiat doesn't have any intrinsic value too and that is what make the countrie's economy and people's life "stable" (it's not perfect, but not so terrible).

They are wrong about Bitcoin. It's not just an asset, it's a virtual currency, used to deal online without the Paypal's or any other centralized bureaucracy. It's innovative, people like this, so there is demand for it. Surely the speculators help BTC price to rise, but it could survive without them because it represents a future technology and not only a fast growing investment.
