2301  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: January 11, 2019, 05:14:41 AM
Bitcoin to the moon is sufficient and its our favorite term and I guess bitcoin to the Mars is a different thing. We may not see the grow that we want for this year but see to it when the halving ends by 2020, we can see a very unexpected price hike by that time.
One more year guys and we will see the good days again.
2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the crypto still be in 2050? on: January 11, 2019, 04:15:01 AM
31 years from now? I don't want think that far. I'd say to take a look closely to the daily happenings to the cryptoverse rather than focusing to the future that we're far ahead. Crypto's are here to stay and I believe that by 2050 we will see a very high price for bitcoin and people tend to support one, two or ten crypto's only as a medium of exchange. Crypto's are just starting and there's more way to go but I don't want to go first to that moment, I'll stay and go with the current flow.

2304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty hunter paid USDT? on: January 10, 2019, 12:11:11 PM
Awhile ago I just commented to a thread that asks what if bounty hunters will get paid in ethereum. The fact that bounty hunters will like any altcoin as long as it has a big volume and accepted in almost every exchange.
That's what bounty hunters are asking for, when will the tokens shall be listed on exchange and with USDT. There will be no doubt that everyone will like it.
2305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent bounty campaigns paying in Ethers? on: January 10, 2019, 11:43:20 AM
Of course, I like this idea: to give the award to bounty hunters on the Ethers. But at the moment there are practically no such companies.
Everyone like this idea. Everyone who's dealt with bounty hunting will instantly receive their rewards through ethereum which they can sell quickly for real cash. Finding for a bounty like this one today is difficult, most of the projects wanted to pay with their tokens and its unlikely to be seen on any exchange if something goes wrong with their roadmap.
I have not participated in any bounty directly paid by ETH. And I also saw a few bounties that made such payments, but not much. It all depends on their project, if they have the budget it would be great
I saw few of them before but they never stayed for a very long time.
2306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption: Don't just sit down, do something on: January 10, 2019, 11:18:01 AM
It's good to see that one of the business that you encouraged to accept crypto's are now accepting. We don't have same experience, most of the business that I talked to, they weren't aware what bitcoin was or does it exists. Every time I buy my favorite DQ blizzard and other small stalls, I used to ask the cashier if they are accepting bitcoin but they have the same answers. At least, I've tried right? Not every business has the same point and belief to the tech, others are just scared of using a new tech and payment method.
2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which are the most promising currencies in the first quarter of 2019? on: January 10, 2019, 09:59:46 AM
Which are the most promising currencies in the first quarter of 2019?
Nothing has changed. Top coins if I were you it will be my choice to be honest. I'd pick few low coins but I'll never remove bitcoin to my best and priority coin. A holder should prioritize bitcoin and it doesn't matter if its too expensive in your opinion although it has dipped very much. Bitcoin is promising most of the time and its no brainer that it will be good for this first quarter. Check all the quarters and just follow bitcoin all the time but if its not really your like, choose a good coin like eth.
2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many people are still here to hunt bounty? on: January 09, 2019, 06:24:02 AM
There's still a vast number of people who are still staying and hoping that the bounty industry will for sometime again. If there will be an interesting bounty I'll probably join and enroll myself as long as it isn't a scam. We're waiting for real companies to start their own jampacked bounties but I guess most of them will never consider bounties because they're already quite popular. Every bounty hunter should start creating a plan B and just do bounty hunting as side job.
2309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders will betray bitcoin one day on: January 09, 2019, 05:37:46 AM
It's not betraying if someone starts to sell his bitcoin for the benefit of him. Why we are holding bitcoin? let's get real on what everyone thinks of bitcoin one day in the future. Everyone thinks of a better value and price of bitcoin in the future and when that time comes, you'll see many people starts to sell it as they/we will be satisfied with the current pricing. You aren't betraying bitcoin if you hold until the end and you can't just make a reference and call selling equal to betraying.
2310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am just Dumping all my altcoins! on: January 08, 2019, 10:23:19 PM
I can't say if its a good or bad decision to sell of those altcoins you have. It's just that you don't have to do that if you are in loss but if you really are in need for something then you have no choice but to sell. If Op decided to do that and transferred his wealth and money got by selling to bitcoin I think its a very good decision but its still a big gamble to him if the loss is that much. I'm encouraging everyone that learn from the experience of op and this is why you should have bitcoin.
2311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Do You Think 2019 Will Be Different? on: January 08, 2019, 01:58:27 PM
2019 will be different in a way that more money shall come in because of several positive news that came in lately before 2018 ends. It's very familiar and popular to the forum on what we are waiting for the first quarter of this year. The adoption, the bakkt thing, the etf result and most of that are the reasons why many thinks that this year will bring more fortune and recovery to the market. I'm not saying it will accurately give what we want but who knows?
2312  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best way to convert ltc to btc? on: January 08, 2019, 12:36:54 PM
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/all/
See on the two tabs "Market with fees" and "Market with no fees". You can use coinomi's integrated exchange and just choose between shapeshift and changelly. They are built in so you don't have to register, just download and wallet and save your keys/phrases.
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the true crypto alternative to government money on: January 07, 2019, 11:06:06 PM
There's really no difference with these coins just like the use of PayPal though the transfers are amazing and quick. But overall, they can't be an alternative government money but they can be considered.
Without Bitcoin, stablecoins wouldn't exist in the first place.
On the contrary they doesn't directly compete with FIAT, instead they fill the void of BTC/USD pared trades all over the cryptosystem.
You nailed it brother!
2314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does ICO and bounty die? on: January 07, 2019, 10:22:45 PM
It's a lot of bounties, 300 for two years. If we'll compute it is 150 per year and per month you have 12 bounties. It's sad to see that many of those didn't pay you OP and you're not the very one that experienced it. ICOs are slowly dying but there are still more ICOs that are very interesting to invest with and can't be stop from executing and growing. With the bounties, they will be here as long as there will be projects out there that wanted to be exposed in the forum.
Blockchain technology is increasingly in demand, and some real products are growing to support the use of blockchain technology in various aspects of life.
ico will not die and will stay alive, the current situation is not a sign that ico will die, only requires time and market response.
Yes use of blockchain is interesting but it is a stand alone technology that can keep on running even without cryptocurrencies, ICOs or bounties. I understand your sentiment that ICO won't die as of the moment but its going there and chance of being dead soon is high. Don't think of it that it will stay forever, people are also learning from the bad experiences in the market. You will never know on what will be the next trend for  this year but blockchain can survive even without ICOs.
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. on: January 07, 2019, 10:01:51 PM
Invest to bitcoin if you are wanting to choose any of them. You should prioritize bitcoin and just go next with ethereum. Invest mostly with it and if you have some spare money then start investing to altcoins like ethereum. There are times that you can do swing trades where you can sell few amount of bitcoin and transfer it to ethereum if there are some related events like forks. And after the fork, sell for profit and move back to bitcoin with that amount you made or got from the beginning.
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto should I buy now on: January 07, 2019, 09:41:50 PM
Suggestions that pushes you through to buy bitcoin were very good advices but its up to you if you'll follow what we think suits and best for you. If a portfolio doesn't have the king of crypto's, it's like a dry place and whenever bitcoin creates a wave for the market all of your coins will be affected and stumble. But if you have bitcoin, it's a lifesaver of your portfolio if you ever had it. You can recover for other coins if you are in loss to other coins. It's just a piece of advice but if you don't like bitcoin, think of it again.
2317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the best coin to buy now on: January 07, 2019, 09:12:07 PM
I'm looking to buy Etherium or possibly litecoin. It's really tough but the fact that Pick a few coins you like and add as you can. NPXS sounds interesting, I'd suggest you get some NPXS. Love what they're doing, wish push your whole portfolio, but give it time!
There's something wrong with Charlie Lee, he's probably buying while advertising it again. Remember the UFC logo on the ground? Why not buy all of those coins altogether? when bitcoin rises, everybody will be included to the top including those coins that you are choosing. Ethereum, litecoin and Pundi X. Ethereum will have hard fork and its going to upgrade itself which will be liked and favorable to the users so everyone's buying right now.
2318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH back to second place on coinmarketcap and overtake XRP again? on: January 06, 2019, 11:49:10 PM
It's a good news if ethereum is continue to move up but we can be so relax because anytime it will be change and it's normal. I hope bull run will start early so we can make a little profit.
Just relax even Ethereum will have the baddest days of its life. Bull run is imminent and to control yourself for doing such panics, you need to have a longer term with it. These rankings are basis on how much they have as total market cap but Ethereum overall is a good coin to invest with. I don't have XRP but many are also liking its idea due to Xrapid and its centralization. You just can't predict on how long this rally would go or if its the final meeting they have, I hope Ethereum will stay for a longer time on number 2 spot.
2319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: January 06, 2019, 11:29:07 PM
You really need to refrain yourself for accessing any sites that can be contained with malicious app that can phished your wallet. Secure your wallet and keep your keys especially your private keys safe in your hands.
Phishing sites are the main reason why someone's wallet was accessed somewhere. A person that isn't aware of it doesn't really protect himself and he just logs whenever he see that the site he visit looks similar to the real one. He won't check the letters if they are properly arranged and will not notice if some spelling aren't correct. Start being educating ourselves through checking the URL and using the 'bookmark' feature of a browser will really help.
2320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: January 06, 2019, 11:14:18 PM
After market dump started Ethereum price is dump and now pump started from few days. Now Ethereum coin should buy now and hold it.
It is best to buy Ethereum when it was very low and under $100 and to those that never believed with Ethereum and ignored it before I think you are now buying it because of the upcoming forks. I will not compare bitcoin and Ethereum, they are both of my best on my portfolio. An altcoin next to bitcoin would be Ethereum no matter how many altcoins are there, I'll still say that its the best in altcoins but it can't be compared to bitcoin.
