2321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 05, 2021, 09:36:34 AM
https://talksport.com/sport/tennis/956469/emma-raducanu-news-tim-henman-indian-wells-coach/

After reading this article its clear that Raducanu doesnt actually have a full time
coach in place for Indian Wells, does anyone else find that bizzare?

Parting ways with your coach who helps you win the U.S Open bringing you to a
#1 UK ranking and not have someone to take his place.

Yes it seems pretty weird to fire a coach that helped you to win one of the major titles in tennis bascially completely out of nowhere, but you never know what was the reason for that decision. Maybe they just didn't get on well anymore, or one of the two just completely lost grounding and is behaving like a superstar now...no one knows. I also think it is not that big of a deal to be without a coach for a tournament or even longer. As far as i know Nick kyrgios had no trainer for years now and it works pretty will for him and i don't think that he would perform better if he would have a coach on his side. I also think that experienced players like Djokovic or Nadal would not need a trainer at all.
2322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Minereum withdrawal? on: October 05, 2021, 09:11:30 AM
Is there any way to sell or withdraw Minereum from a Trust wallet? I have 32,000 (like a lot of people) and was wondering if there is a way to sell/exchange/withdrawl?

If not - what is the best thing to do with the MNE coins?

You can do nothing with those coins. They are completely worthless as some others in this thread already mentioned. Now that the BSC-Network with its Low fees became popular in the last months we are seeing an increasing numbers of sh*t- or scam-coins flooding our wallets again because the transaction costs are very low on the BSC-network. There have also been reports that it can be dangerous if you want to sell one of those coins because they direct you to exchanges that are not safe or they can only be sold on some fake swaps that are somehow interacting with your connected wallet and empty it. So the best thing to do is to not touch those tokens at all.
2323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 04, 2021, 05:09:15 AM
Let's look at the current odds ML at sportsbet.

Fury at 1.29, Wilder at 3.25 - Good and very attractive odds for Wilder, specially for those who love to go with the underdog.

Now, looking at the handicap per rounds, Over 7.5 - 1.82, Under 7.5 1.96. Might be tempted to bet on the over here.

And as for the "fight will go to the distance" - Yes 2.85, No 1.37.

Very interesting odds for a win of Wilder indeed, i mean he has time and time proven again that he can knock out everyone with a single punch and he even almost got Fury knocked out too in their first match but people seem to have forgotten the first fight and only remember their last fight where Fury was extremely dominant. I still think though that fury is the favorite here, because he is just the way more skillful boxer of the two. Wilder has probably the hardest punch in boxing but he is very limited technically.
2324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Social experiment (Holy Grail 15 alt coins to a $ million club) on: October 04, 2021, 05:00:40 AM
I don't think that the trading Strategie that you mentioned is viable. I mean you can not just assume, that each and every of your 15 investments does a x2. The truth is that probably 5 out of your 15 picks would probably underperform and 1 or two of them could even be a rug pull or some other type of scam and therefore all of your money would be lost even if the doubling up worked a few times before that. Also if you always immediately sell, once you reach a x2 you miss out on a potential x10 or more.
2325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: October 03, 2021, 07:19:16 PM

It is easier to criticize the boxer after he has lost, however, none of the analysts have said anything about that before the fight and have said to bet on the Ukrainian because of that record. Also, who has Usyk fought before Anthony Joshua? Many of the are also not great names.

It is always easy to criticize someone that has suffered a lost recently and that is down on the ground at the moment and in moments like that a lot of people appeara and say "i knew it, Joshua has always sucked", which is now a pretty easy thing to do. I also think though that Joshua was hyped way to much in the past and some people said back then that he is already one of the all-time greats. Joshua has definitely one of the most impressive physiques of all time and he also has tremendous punching power and he can knockout every opponent with one punch, but from a technical point of view he never was a great boxer (better than Wilder though), in that regard Usyk and of course Fury are way ahead of Joshua and have always been.
2326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Dogecoin Is Crypto's Most Dangerous Joke on: October 03, 2021, 07:09:36 PM

I have never been a friend of meme-coins and during the last few weeks and months i was very worried when all of those new meme-coins appeared. I mean back in the day we saw like 50 new meme-coins launching everyday and none of them had any use-case at all. I really think that this was a very bad development for the whole crypto space, because nobody can understand and comprehend when all 10 top projects in terms of volume both in uniswap and pancakeswap where meme-coins a few months ago with absolutely 0 use-case and functions but still they had 10s of millions of dollars of trading volume and then after a week or so they were dead again of course. I am really happy that the meme-coin hype is slowly dying at the moment.
2327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 03, 2021, 05:34:21 PM
Bayern Munich lost 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt today. See the statistics of this match. Ball possession of Bayern Munich is 72% and Frankfurt only 28%. Despite 28% ball possession, Frankfurt scored two goals, which is commendable. But in this match, Bayern Munich has made a total of 20 shots, while Frankfurt has made only 5 shots. Although Munich was able to make 10 on target shots, Frankfurt made only 3. I would say that the fate of Bayern today is very bad. Otherwise they could have at least drawn the match.

I watched every minute of that game and i have to say that this was one of the most one-sided matches that was won by the worse team that have i ever seen in my life and i have watched a lot of games. Bayern basically completely dominated over the whole course of the game and their first goal was already way to late because they had several good chances before. Then Frankfurt scored the equalizing goal after a corner kick which was the very first chance that they had. In the second half Bayern was even more dominant and completely pushed Frankfurt into their own half and had several chances to score. A very unlucky day for Bayern indeed.
2328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How a token burn works? on: October 03, 2021, 05:30:19 PM
Many projects utilize this process for many reasons, including to forcibly make the price rise (this method is particularly used by scammy projects) via reducing the supply of the token.

The question I have is: how do they do that?

I know the classic way which is all about to send the tokens to a "black hole address" which de facto makes them unusable, but I would like to know how technically this process work, how do they can access the tokens present in your wallet and send them to the burn address (this is basically how some scams work), feel free to go deep with details, I'll try my best to understand the process.

They can not access the tokens that are in your wallet. They can only access the tokens that are in the wallet of themself so a wallet that belongs to the team of the project or the official project wallet. Then they just sent tokens from the official wallet to one of the none burn adresses where nobody has the keys of and therefore those tokens can never be accessed again and therefore lost forever even though they can be watched in the explorer. There are some rebasing tokens that are adjusting the token supply everyday or every or so to keep the price on a defined level and and this affects also the tokens that are in private wallets, but that is not the same as burning tokens.
2329  Other / Off-topic / Re: Diego Costa being investigated by Police over alleged betting scandal on: October 02, 2021, 03:21:39 PM
I don't really know what Diego Costa has done or what they say that he has done but i never understood why it is such a big Deal if football players are betting on their own games. In the end he is only one out of 22 players and i don't think he has enough influence to manipulate a game. If he bets that his own Team is losing then of course it is a little fight, but if he bets on his Team to win then it is just a little extra Motivation on top for him.
2330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade using instinct on: October 02, 2021, 03:08:43 PM
Hello buddy
I am a new user in crypto, I learned a lot from friends who have been using crypto for a very long time, previously I lost a lot of assets, because of the experience and lessons I learned so that I can trade well, I have profited from BSC coins and now I have not invested in any other altcoins. Can you provide any suggestions for potential future altcoins?
I have $1226 in assets, Thank you. Smiley

I think it is good that you are still interested in crypto even though you have lost a lot of assets with it already because in the end the experience you have gained with that can be much more valuable in the longterm then the money that you have lost. It is always hard to give general suggestion for good projects because everyone has different goals. Can you afford to lose all of that 1226 dollars? Then i would go for a very risky investment into new projects that still have a lot of potential.
2331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 02, 2021, 09:48:08 AM

I dont bet on the exact result , only for the win and i guess Wolfsburg will win the game against Gladbach.

I find the match of Wolfsburg vs Gladbach very hard to predict. It is true that wolfsburg performed surprisingly well overall in the season so far while Gladbach started strong in their first match against Bayern and managed to achieve a draw there but afterwards they performed very poorly and had bad results. Now the momentum has kinda changed though and Wolfsburg has not won a game out of the last 4 or 5 matches, while Gladbach managed to win again Dortmund last weekend.
2332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto misinformation is turning into an issue for people new to the game. on: October 02, 2021, 08:33:14 AM
I have seen topics and posts around with incredible amounts of misinformation. Mostly posted by newbies as their first or second post. Most people that have been in the crypto game for a while knows to take most "news" about crypto with a grain of salt. But some people that are newer to it might fall victim to fake information or fake investment "guides" that tell you to invest in some token that is, to an experienced person, obviously a pump and dump or scam coin.

The whole cryptospace is a really wild place and can therefore be very dangerous especially for people that are new to this kind of environment. Here we have a lot of scam projects, that are created within a day and their only purpose is to do a rugpull. Then there are the hundreds of meme tokens that came up in the last weeks and months. I am pretty sure that projects made a lot of newbies lose a lot of money and only a few lucky ones made profit with them.
2333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 01, 2021, 01:54:44 PM
The group stages for The International 10 is just a week away. But there are already some bad reports about players that are having the covid-19 virus.
anyone has more info about this? would like to know which player will miss TI before I start placing outright bets

i did read on twitter some rumours about Ceb (OG) missing TI? it's not confirmed

There's no confirmed list for players that will not gonna make to TI despite the announcement of some players of having the virus. But here's the list of players that has confirmed Covid-19 virus.

Du "Monet" Peng - Team Aster
Lin "Xxs" Jing - Team Aster
Ye "BoBoKa" Zhibiao - Team Aster
JT - Invictus Gaming

Most of the post on social media is just a rumor. And we don't know the actual setup on the TI, Maybe they will launch the contest on separated room per team then just play there without the need to go outside. Just my opinion.

That really sucks for the player listed above and especially for Team Aster of course if they would really lose 3 of their 5 players before the tournament. If those 3 really can not participate in the TI then Team Aster is basically already out because there is no way they can integrate 3 new players into a team that quickly. Also i have to say i am pretty happy that so far no players of the big and popular teams are affected. I think it would really suck if for example PSG.LGD would lose 1 or 2 players before the TI now that they have pretty much dominated the last few months. Same goes for OG, i just hope we don't see a TI without Topson.
2334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PAYT, bounty scam. on: October 01, 2021, 01:50:32 PM
I am here to confirm that payaccept team never paid any bounty to any participants. The BM from this forum posted about it and the admin of Payt managed to cover up his lies.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5255787.0

I feel sorry for everyone that participated in this bounty and wasted a lot of time and energy to get 0 reward in the end. I mean it's a different thing, if you participate in an altcoin bounty and then the bounty reward is basically worthless because the project never really was successful or if you get completely scammed like in your case. I also have to say though that stuff like that is happening quite often, especially in altcoin bounties. Sometimes it's a bounty manager that is a scammer and sometimes the project dies so fast that it won't survive till the final day of the bounty. You always need some luck and intuition to find good altcoin bounties.
2335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 01, 2021, 12:26:48 PM
Sheriff Tiraspol are the new Sheriffs of UCL haha. Who would've imagined that they will be in 1st place with full points after 2 games ? They just made that group so nice to watch but they can still lose the 1st and 2place and finish on 3rd but after I saw how they play ...I do believe they will move further from 2nd place.

To be quite honest i have never heard of Tiraspol before and i was already extremely surprised when they managed to advance into the group stage when they beat Dinamo Zagreb in the qualifiers. Back then i thought that they were just extremely lucky and that they also had an easy opponent with Zagreb but now they even manage to beat Real Madrid at home which is absolutely crazy. (Of course that was not the same Real Madrid than a few years ago but for a club like Tiraspol that is still an amazing achievement).
I just read that Sheriff Tiraspol is sponsored by a holding that basically owns 60% of all the economy in Transnistria...pretty wild.
2336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally starting my IDO journey on: October 01, 2021, 12:20:01 PM
Guys I want to start investing into new projects through polkastarter platform but I'm looking into getting more info out from anyone of you, if polkastarter platform safe? Is polkastarter platform KYC free cos I can't find where to pass KYC, I can see pools available and wallet connect only, thank you

Polkastarter was one of the first launchpads, at least as far as i know, and has already launched some very good projects so i am pretty sure this is one of the safest launchpads out there and also one of the best. We have so many launchpads now that it can be really confusing from time to time and to be part of all of them is not affordable to normal people so if you want to participate regularly in IDO's or even private you have to pick out 1 or a few good launchpads from the dozens that exist and basically buy into their member tiers.
I am part of DuckDao and Poolz and with those projects i am still deep in the profit zone even though my portfolio is only worth 1/5th of its ATH from the beginning of may at the moment.
2337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: September 30, 2021, 01:41:16 PM
I think that in order to be able to seriously talk about the Fury - Usyk fight as a competitive one, it is necessary that Usyk gain at least a little weight (can he, given that he has already moved to a new weight category for himself?). Now Usyk weighs 100 kg, and Fury 123 (or already more) - 23 kilograms of difference, in fact, they are in different weight categories.

He will lose his speed and probably his accuracy if he gains more weight than he can afford, he is ok with his current weight as long as Usyk maintains that speed and accuracy, he can fight anybody as he did with Joshua and beat him, heavyweight is the only division where there is no maximum weight limit, Usyk if ever will add more weight it will not be more that will hinder his speed.

I also don't think that Usyk needs to be heavier to beat Fury. I mean if he will ever fight against fury then he probably has to be even faster than in the fight against Joshua in order to be able to dogde and avoid furys fast jabs. I think it would be bad for Usyk to increase his weight further than he absolutely has to in order to keep within the weight limits. In the end being heavier "only" gives you more punching power and i don't think that a little bit more punching power would drastically help Usyk, but the downsides of more weight, the loss of speed are definitely very dangerous for him. If the fight of Fury vs Usyk will ever happen i would bet that the fight goes over the full distance, because both of them are not really heavy hitters.
2338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: singapore attack binance.com on: September 30, 2021, 01:35:59 PM
Binance.com's time has ended in Singapore they will stop the deposit feature, even though Binance, which is the largest crypto exchange platform in the world based on trading volume, members are given 1 month to withdraw.
This clearly affects BNB
https://www.forbes.com/sites/zinnialee/2021/09/28/binance-to-ban-singapore-users-from-crypto-trading-and-buying-on-its-global-platform/?sh=6d074dd17e17

Singapore is a huge financial market that also has a lot of wealthy people that are potential investors into crypto but in the end singapore only has about 5,5 million citizens so i would say that the impact of this news will probably not be that big if you compare this to the news that china basically declared crypto as a whole as illegal and even then the prices only went down around 10-20%. Looking at the BNB price right now i would say that this news had no effect at all at the price as BNB is even in the profit zone today. I am pretty sure this news will be forgotten pretty soon and everything will go on as usual.
2339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 30, 2021, 09:46:16 AM
I don't think any of us expecting such shock result. Barcelona can lose but 0 - 3 is a shock result. I don't feel any strange or surprise if Barcelona lose matches with their squad. They are becoming another Arsenal and I think Messi can feel happy now in PSG. He would have not been able to do anything now, if he had stayed in Barcelona.

I think the problem is not just the lack of Messi. Barcelona, with time, started to settle for the victories and stopped evolving. Now it is in a new phase of restructuring, but it seems that things are still not going as expected.

I think Barcelona was one of the teams most that were most affected by the impact of the Covid pandemic. They already were in financial trouble before and the lack of income through ticket sales seemed to have completely broke the camels back there in financial regards. Now they had to let Messi go (Messi is also the reason for this financial trouble though as he got 500M+€ in just for years, which is just ridiculous) and now they are playing with a lot of very young players. So it is no wonder, that Barcelona can not keep up with the good european teams at the moment and i also think that i will take a long time to reach the old level again.
2340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cripto and Sports on: September 30, 2021, 09:41:18 AM
A number of sports stars were also interested in Crypto lately, such as Tennis Star Naomi Osaka openly interested in Dogecoin. The famous soccer player, Lionel Messi also received a part of his salary in the form of Crypto, namely the PSG Fansclub token. Previously, the NFL star Russel Okung also chose to receive half his salary at Bitcoin.

What do you think ?

I think it's no surprise that there are also active athletes interested in cryptos because in the end there are just normal people too and if for example 2% of the world population is interested in cryptos then i would guess that there are also 2% of all athletes interested in cryptos. I also noticed that this year there is a lot of advertising of big crypto projects going on in major sports. For example Tezos is visible on several Formula 1 cars. As far as i know the ad space on a formula 1 car is very expensive so that is pretty cool. Also in the UFC i noticed a ad of crypto.com that was mentioned during the fight i guess that is also pretty expensive.
