made, always thanks for their affidabilty, Leclerc deserved the victory... I don't know if he is yet in the position to win this season..

For now, Max deserves the lead, he did 0 mistakes until now.

The question is why LeClerc is doing so many mistakes? Unexperienced? Not so solid car?

Lack of experience and easily pressured.  The car is solid enough to win races.  Imagine having Hamilton drive Leclerc's Ferrari for the rest of the season and I'm pretty sure we'll have those two battling it out every race weekened.  Smiley  Like the French GP as an example.  Leclerc couldn't handle the pressure with Verstappen close behind his tail and made a mistake.  Which he then blamed it on a throttle issue...  Hmmm.  Cheesy

^  Ugh please no.  Have some mercy on Michael Schumacher's son and heir.  Lolol.  He's better off with Haas.  The team doesn't have much money but their car development is more sound and the results more positive than Aston Martin.

And Mick Schumacher is a Ferrari guy.  I think Haas is Ferrari's somewhat unofficial junior team.  So it makes more sense for him to stay and learn with Haas.

FP1 results...  Sainz is quick.

2363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SHIBA INU - The Next gem in Altcoin industry on: July 28, 2022, 02:25:41 PM
SHIB is totally overvalued right now and I don't think there's more room for it to go up in market cap unless the whole space pumps.  And even then it won't rise like it did when it was still an unknown micro cap.  If you guys want an investment related to SHIB that could give you 100x, check out RYOSHI's VISION.  Just under 30 million in market cap and made by the same people behind SHIB.  They're at it again.  Buy while it's still low.  Lolol.
Currently the market is starting to make some greens even though lets say that this is just joining the meme coin wagon and been overvalued
but still able to make out some increase in price which do comes along with most top coins in the market too.

Shiba Inu Price (SHIB)
$0.00001141
+6.47%

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shiba-inu/

Not really bad for those who do get in when its still red and make gains on short time basis.

For those small returns, I'd rather trade more solid projects than memecoins.  But if you want to make life changing money from nothing, you better look for those coins that are under 50 million USD in market cap.  And with RYOSHI's VISION coming from the same group that gave us SHIB, it's really possible that it goes over a billion or more in market cap.

Remember, at the end of the day, it's all about social consensus no matter how good a project is.  If the market decides that a memecoin goes from a million market cap to 1 billion then so be it.

^  Yup, I just heard too.  Sad.  I would've love to see him race for a couple more seasons.

And Aston Martin, called Force India years ago, just got worse since Lawrence Stroll came in and bought the team.

So it may rain this weekend  Shocked

I think I have never seen rain in the Hungarian GP

Blame climate change.  Lol.  But I don't mind races at wet tracks as much as I did before tbh.

Here's the time schedule for the Hungarian GP.

2022 F1 Hungarian GP Time Schedule

July 29:  Practice 1, 14:00 - 15:00
July 29:  Practice 2, 17:00 - 18:00
July 30:  Practice 3, 13:00 - 14:00
July 30:  Qualifying, 16:00 - 17:00
July 31:  Race, 15:00

And it looks like the books have lined Leclerc to get P1 at qualifying at 1.72 with Verstappen at 2.75 and Leclerc to proceed in winning the race lined at 2.20 with Verstappen at 2.50.  So it looks like Vestappen is the value side here.
2365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Infographics] Does Football Betting Pay Off? on: July 28, 2022, 01:38:14 PM
That chart won't be enough but looking at it at first glance will make you think that football betting is profitable. But that's not the whole point of it, there should be like +/- stats from those people that have been part of the survey. Just like the usual survey that we see on different industries that they're including the margin of losses and points which is part of statistics that must be done.

From personal experience I think betting on football matches especially the EPL is really tough.  I've only had one great season in betting football and the rest are a mixed bag of results but leaning towards negative.  Lol.  It's because the lines are way more efficient than say a sport like MMA where the books get it wrong more often.  And the draw is a real factor in football which makes predictng an outcome a tad harder.  Not so in MMA.

2366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 28, 2022, 01:27:30 PM
Many things in the transfer market did not benefit Chelsea, the players who were targeted even mostly chose Barcelona. In fact, from a financial point of view, Chelsea dominates over Barcelona. Turns out it's not all about finances. For example, Chelsea wanted Lewandowski, Rhapinha, Dembele to extend his contract, then Christensen was even free to transfer to Barcelona. Thinking about it so far in the pre-season Barcelona have been lucky with poor finances but still can fulfill the expected squad.

Does Chelsea really dominate Barcelona that much financially these days tho?  Abramovich is being sanctioned due to his close ties with Putin.  And if anything, those players chose Barca prolly because the club is giving better personal terms than Chelsea can.  It's also possible that players are avoiding Chelsea because of the Russian connection.

And maybe it's because Barca's rebuilding phase under Xavi looks more promising.
2367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 28, 2022, 01:17:13 PM
Been extremely busy the last few days, but hopefully I'm back now, and will be able to catch the UFC this weekend. However, the last two main events have been a let down. I thought Curtis looked good, despite there only being 15 seconds for footage. I do believe he gets underestimated a lot. Anyway, I know that's old news now, so I'll get my predictions out either tomorrow or Friday depending on my work load. I haven't taken a proper look at the card, and odds yet.

I'm seeing O'Malley, and Yan has been confirmed now, for me Yan takes that easily, and due to the hype behind O'Malley it might be decent odds too.

Bestfightodds has O'Malley at 4.00 - 4.30 depending on the bookie.  Not sure but I think it's the first time for O'Malley to be lined as the underdog since he got into the UFC.

https://www.bestfightodds.com/#

Anyway here are my lottery tickets for the event.  I kinda regret having Nunes at my top ticket now that I'm looking at it.  Lol.  But I do feel like she's gonna go out there more motivated.

Nunes - Moreno at 2.06
Add:  Pantoja - Ankalaev - Morales at 4.31
Add:  Mayes - Dober - Semelsberger at 16.32
Add:  Lewis - Garcia - Edwards at 174.89
Add:  Negumereanu - Mathetha at 883.04

Who do you guys got for the next event?  I'm not too excited for Nunes vs Pena rematch tbh.  I'm more excited with the co main with Moreno and KKF.  Pantoja vs Perez should be good too.  I think one of both matches could be fight of the night.

Timo Werner can exit Chelsea this summer only if Juventus are ready to pull the deal. I think the Old Lady's really need a backup winger and Timo Werner falls in the category of players Allegri want. Morever Chelsea have plan a loan deal which will involve RB Leipzig player Mukiele, but since PSG first them opening bid with the player, and it's also a done deal for Mukiele to Paris. There's still possible move that might go on for the German this summer, it's never too late for Todd Boehly and Thomas Tuchel to decide on what to do with Timo Werner.

Yeah, Chelsea should sell him while there's still some value to be had.  I think it's safe today that he's a flop at Chelsea.  What would have been if he went to Liverpool and play under Klopp instead.  If I remember it right Klopp had interest in acquiring him from RB Leipzig but he decided to go to Chelsea.

Anyway I'm seeing lots of new names I'm not familiar with.  Lol.
2371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 26, 2022, 03:37:51 PM

Jai Herbert
Muhammad Mokaev
Marc Diakiese
Nathaniel Wood
Mason Jones
Paddy the baddy

Mason Jones was the pie shitter of parlays.  Lmaooo.  Mokaev turned out to look really good.  He didn't finish his opponent but he totally owned the guy's soul.

And before 277 this weekend, we have the Contender Series 2022 week 1 in around 9 hours or so.  I have a small parlay going.

Pyfer - Turkalj - Buzukja - Costa at 5.35

Here's the roster of the event.  They're mostly unknowns to me and I just followed the most likely winners the books are going for.  So feel free to fade.

Date:  Tuesday, July 26, 8:00pm EST
Venue:  UFC Apex Center, Las Vegas, Nevada

Middleweight:  Joseph Pyfer vs Ozzy Diaz
Light Heavyweight:  Anton Turkalj vs Acácio dos Santos
Featherweight:  Dennis Buzukja vs Kaleio Romero
Flyweight:  Alessandro Costa vs Andres Luna Martinetti

I agree with Ferrari this time, they did the best choice for Sainz, sure he would have been second as he would have passed also Hamilton with the pace he had but I am sure he would have had a puncture if he kept racing at that pace or if he would not get the pace the tire would degrade surely in the last 10 laps and everybody else would have surpassed him again. So Ferrari did for once the right call with Sainz, they even got the fastest lap of the race.

Leclerc made the mistake exactly where he needed the most not to do it,now Verstappen 62 points ahead and when Leclerc loses Verstappen extend the gap with minimum of 15-25 points, when Verstappen loses Leclerc closes the distance by just 6-12 points and this says a lot for the title fight.I agree that in 10 races is almost impossible to close the gap by 62 points unless bad things happen to Verstappen.

Ferrari may have the most performant car right now but Max is more solid at the moment.

Keep also in mind Max is already in his 8th year in F1, even if he is so young he is still experienced, the rookie Max was the more exciting driver but too reckless.

Another advantage in the second part of the season,  Ferrari already got a penalty so they have some free parts for the cars, while if Redbull will need more they will take a penalty.

So you think the Ferraris will be faster and the cars more reliable in Hungary?  At first glance, I think the books will over adjust and line Verstappen a lot wider than they used to giving some value for betting on Leclerc.  But what do you think?

And I wonder what happened to the Haas.  Just when I thought they're going to be regulars at the midtable, they have a bad race.  Mick Schumacher near the bottom and Magnussen didn't finish.  Lol.  Fishy...
2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 26, 2022, 03:16:29 PM
Julian Draxler, a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, is a target for Newcastle United. The estimated price for the Germany international is around £25 million.
Draxler may have advanced farther because he was left off of PSG's preseason roster for their recent trip of Japan, but it is still unclear whether Newcastle will be his final destination. The 28-year-old Draxler has played for the French powerhouses for the last six seasons, but his most recent campaign has been primarily from the bench, with 13 of his 18 Ligue 1 outings coming as a replacement.
I would like it if he played in Germany again. He will earn more money in England, but I think he play more games in Germany. He hasn't had good years lately and he needs more playing time, which he can get in Germany. At first I thought about a move to Leipzig, but I would like to see him at Frankfurt. They play in the Champions League and have brought in a lot of players in the offensiv, but he would be a great addition there.

I'd love to see him play in the EPL, the toughest league in Europe.  And it's not even open to debate.  And I don't think he'll play less games if he went to Newcastle and play under Eddie Howe as I don't think the competition to play for first 11 spots would be as tough as clubs like say Chelsea or even West Ham which has a decent squad.

Anyway with the transfer window coming to a close, which player transfer would you guys think will be a success and which will flop?

Well well well , it seems RedBull has a problem with the wind as that's why Max couldn't finish top 1 but I don't bite that as wind was kinda the same in P3 and qualifiers. Now for race , all my strategies have been messed around so I don't know what to pick anymore. Maybe Fernando Alonso winning his group ? he has 15 odds and a fair chance to finish on 4th position

What do you think guys about this bet ?

That's good value imho and with Alonso starting behind Russel too.  I'm thinking about Magnussen in group 4 at 3.00.  Drivers in the group are Vettel at 1.83, Magnussen at 3.00, Albon at 4.35 and Mick Schumacher at 10.00.  It feels like it's an easy bet for Kevin Magnussen as he's the best driver if without Vettel in the group but Magnussen having the fastest car in the group could give him the edge even if he's starting from behind these guys.

What do you  think?
2377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 23, 2022, 03:52:37 PM
^  Close to impossible for a Ferrari 1 - 2 as Sainz is starting at the back of the grid now due to more parts replacements in his power unit.  What has become more interesting tho is Sainz to finish top 6 which he could do.  Anything more than 2.00 could be value imho.  The lines aren't up as of now.  It could take a couple more hours.

^  Here's the thing..  Take a look at the market right now and see what's going on.  It's red for now but a couple more days like today and we start seeing the same people who are bullish do a 180 turn and be bearish.  I do it too.  Lolol.  But yeah, I think there's gonna be an interesting week coming as we'll soon find out if the monthly closes bullish or bearish.

I'm hoping the merge will get people to get in ETH but I think most of the people who aren't holding it are gonna be waiting it out first before aping in.

^  Looks good.  I picked exactly those guys too for my lottery tickets.  Again let's cross our fingers for a Mokaev win.  If there was a pie shitter in that list, it's him.  Cheesy  And doing cross events for parlays isn't that bad esp if you aren't sure about some match ups for the current event.  Maybe we should also do cross organization parlays and make picks at UFC and Bellator events next time.

Anyway, UFC London starts in 35 minutes or so guys.  Lock your bets in!  Leeezzgooo and good luck!
2380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 23, 2022, 03:12:30 PM
^  You know if Sainz had something to fight for in this qualifying I think he'd be getting the pole imho.  Sainz is faster than Leclerc at FP2, FP3 and during Q2 at qualifying.  It's too bad he'd be starting at the back of the grid no matter which spot he ended up with.

Anyway it's LEC - VER - PER.  The first 10 laps should be interesting with two Red Bull cars behind Leclerc's tail.  I feel like Verstappen will be in villain mode starting this weekend til the end of the season.
