I totally get where you are coming from. I've been scammed a couple of times. One by "BeastBTC" who I was supposedly going to by some hardware from and another for a few bucks to by BTC which never materialised.

I'll lock the thread now as I appreciate your comments and realise that as honest as I may be no one will trust me to by the address, which is completely understandable.

Thanks for your input guys  Smiley

I didn't know you could do a partial private key. If I did I would've offered that.
2443  Economy / Digital goods / Re: {WTS} Vanity BTC Address "bitcoin" on: July 29, 2016, 07:03:29 AM
John, I'm fully aware of the security aspect. I accept it would be a leap of faith from the prospective buyer. I can assure you that I would not keep any details regarding the address. As you can see from my feedback I deal with PayPal a lot (which is reversible) and have never charged back a transaction. I'm a trustworthy member and an active part of the forum and will continue to be.

Angell, I'm just trying to make a few extra dollars from something someone make like.

As for price it does say open to offers  Smiley

Not to worry I've managed to putty in and bring up the cgminer running (screen -r) then change the option through that. It won't be a permenant solution (won't survive reboots) but it will do for now.

I have one miner with three different pools. Is there any way to change the setting on the program so it balances the hash rate between all three?
2448  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain New Miner S7-LN 2.7T @697W discussion (Not official) on: July 28, 2016, 04:22:24 PM
Hi guys,

Now ive got one of sidehacks S7LN's and would like to do balance mining across three different pools, I understand I may lose a bit of hash and errors might increase. But I cant seem to find the option on the gui. On my old S3's it had the option for Failover,Balance,Quota, but I cant seem to find this option.

Can anyone point it out or give me a way of doing this?

Thanks.

That's the trouble that little run of a couple of easy blocks is ruined by the increase in long blocks we seem to be suffering. I just wonder if there is anything that could be done? Server restart or something?
2450  Bitcoin / Pools / Does anyone point their miners at nicehash PPS? on: July 27, 2016, 09:48:27 PM
Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone sells there hash to nicehash. If so what are your payouts like? Do they pay regularly?

Is it anymore profitable than on a smaller pool?

The reason I ask is because I only have 2Th so want to maximise if I can.
2451  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitminter bitcoin mining pool - Pays TxFees, Merged Mining, Fair PPLNS rewards on: July 27, 2016, 08:48:21 PM
No not really  Sad

It wasn't so long ago that we had a difficult block then two really easy ones in quick succession.

2460  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Vertical miner on: July 25, 2016, 05:10:34 PM
Theres a guy on here (check the "goods" section in the "Marketplace" part of the forum), that sells fan duct adaptors and legs for miners so you can stand them vertically to facilitate the heat escaping easier. Saves having to hang it and risk it falling down. Also many people use wire/bar type racking and stand them to do the same thing. I cant comment on hashrate etc as my "hacked" S7LN sits under my desk with 15%fan speed and ducting with an inline 5" extractor fan blowing heat out the window (it gets very hot in the room during the day). Chip temps never go above 60c and hashrate is stable.
