1721  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Staring At minning! PLEASE SHARE SOME KNOWLEGDE AND HELPME ! on: January 02, 2017, 09:27:03 PM
It ll depends on whether you are doing this for profit, or as a hobby. If for profit then it all depends on your electricity cost. There are many profitability calculators on the internet that have data for different miners already programed you just needto input some data and then you can find out if it will be profitable and for how long.

If you are doing it as a hobby then just get them plugged in, follow one of the setup threads (in the hardware section of the bitcoin forum) and you are mining. Oh and make sure you join a pool and set up and account so any mining income goes to the bitcoin address you want it to.

Oh and just so you know if you are running any mining hardware at its intended speeds then it will be loud.

Im a home miner and have an S9 underclocked by 50% and its bareable under my desk. At full speed it isn't. Mining hardware is meant for datacenters and warehouses, not for home anymore, well not if you want to do it for much profit.

I can do an initial trade with you. I won't go any higher than 5% and because your your trust level is low my only stipulation is you send the btc first. I will send PayPal in USD and as friends and family so you don't incur any fees. Please check my feedback for numerous trades I've completed using this payment method. These are my terms and I will not deviate from them. If you are happy with the terms please PM me with your PayPal address and I will provide my btc address.

Thanks.

As far as I know you don't need zadig for bfgminer. Just cgminer. Check on the BFGminer thread and re-check the beginning of this thread.
i read somewhere that i could use bfg

Yes you can but I don't think you need zadig for BFGminer. Zadig was only needed for Cgminer.

Is family & Friends chargebackable?

All PayPal transactions can be chargedback. Family and friends avoids any fees for the receiver. If you take a look at my feedback though it will clearly show this is the only trading I do and have numerous feedback without any charge backs.

That's where I got confused BW-BF....only one consonant wrong but makes it completely different   Cheesy

By "BW" I assume you mean "Bitfury". Lot of people been making that mistake lately.

Yes my mistake the Bitfury gear. Specifically the pod for me Smiley

Look at those badass mining machines!!!  Shocked Shocked

Great work!! I should really put my name down for one but I'm trying to be patient and hold out what little btc I have for the BW gear.
1737  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Dual-purpose DPS800/DPS1200 breakout board on: December 30, 2016, 07:53:50 PM
Groovy. I just brought in more PCBs, so next week I'll be restocked on board and cables for anyone wanting to order direct.

Funnily enough I have messaged macyntyre (bitshopper) about your breakout board and cables (heavy duty ones they call them). They have a little shroud around the board they sell which was quite neat. Do you do those aswell or is that an addition by bitshopper?

1738  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Making server PSUs quieter on: December 30, 2016, 07:49:17 PM
Thanks for the input guys. I'll update this when I get hold of a psu and breakout board. I have an idea in mind already for mounting the fan without ruining the existing case.

Thanks for the input but it's the HP model I'm going for. Not the dell.
