1481  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BFL Monarch, Cgminer, Windows 7, ARRGHHH on: May 18, 2017, 05:27:52 PM
Got a "Path=" statement in your .bat file that points to the correct directory?

What does one of those look like?

P.S. If I hadn't already got my raspi running with my 2pacs and could just add in the BFL part instead of having to install cgminer on the pi all over again then I'd plug it in there lol
1482  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BFL Monarch, Cgminer, Windows 7, ARRGHHH on: May 18, 2017, 05:06:39 PM
Open a command prompt and run your .bat file manually so it doesnt auto close the window on failure. Then you can see the error.

It says:-

'bfgminer.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I can't see that ive written anything wrong on the bat file either.

I mananged to get cgminer working before but bat files that I knew worked now don't  Huh
1483  Bitcoin / Mining support / BFL Monarch, Cgminer, Windows 7, ARRGHHH on: May 18, 2017, 04:48:19 PM
Hi everyone,

Basically I picked up a old BFL Monarch from a member and it half works (as I knew already). Im just dabbling with it as ive only ever really used Bitmain gear before. Im trying to get it working on a windows 7 laptop but cant seem to get cgminer (or bfgminer) to run with it. The cmd window flashes open then immediately closes again.

Anyone shed any light? ive trawled through the forum but cant find anything.

Thanks.
1484  Economy / Services / Re: WTS 2 years free of Power OR Maintenance LTC Mining Contract from Genesis on: May 13, 2017, 06:41:54 AM
So youve just bought a contract and now you want to sell it? That makes no sense.

Or are you giving it away for free?

If youve got to have a verified localbitcoins account why not just use localbitcoins?
1487  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] [UK] Old/Inefficient/Outdated BTC Miners. on: May 07, 2017, 01:16:43 AM

1488  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 lowest rpm & temps on: May 06, 2017, 09:49:50 AM
I had mine underclocked getting about 4ths and fans set to 15% which gave about 65c with an ambient temp of 20c

1491  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Can I use 1 PSU or should I use 2? on: May 03, 2017, 08:43:54 PM
Could there not just be a dedicated "Hardware (Altcoins)" section set up in the Altcoins section of the forum?
1492  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] [UK] Old/Inefficient/Outdated BTC Miners. on: May 03, 2017, 04:48:17 PM
I've got a 50% BFL Monarch I could send you for shipping + a beer, the watercooling system might be faulty.

Shipping from France, pack is all done because one guy cancelled on me at the last minute

Whats wrong with the watercooling system? Also how much is the shipping? Ive seen the prices of the beers in France   Cheesy so how many beers are we talking or is half a pint enough   Grin ?

1494  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who likes pod miners? on: May 03, 2017, 05:46:25 AM
Sounds like things are going full speed. Nice to hear 2pac production has been ironed out and the minions training finally paying off  Cheesy

Cant comment on the naming of the products as I cant remember what they all come from (although i know its been mentioned somewhere 🤔).
1495  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Overheating Shutting down issues on: May 02, 2017, 06:08:24 PM
Totally irrelevant whether your moods are against one member of all of them. They are completely out of line.

Youve got to understand that there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum and a search function on the top of the page which can be used to find answers to your questions. As members have already said, it is futile trying to mine btc with a laptop even if it is just to learn. Buy yourself a Gekkoscience Compac or Antminer U2 usb stick and use cgminer. Persoanlly i have three conpacs hooked upto a powered usb hub running from a raspi3.
1496  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][UK][EU] Antminer R4 8THs on: May 01, 2017, 06:22:49 PM
I am very fresh yet to know about the Antminer . Is this Antminer eligible to mine Bitcoins?
I had already been told about bitcoin physical miner, need to know what crypto does it mine and what is the amount it can mine every day?

Thanks

How have you managed to get to be a senior member when you are asking questions like this? Amazing that youre on a bitcoin forum yet have no idea about the type of machine this is and what it does/doesnt do.

Dont worry ive just checked his history. Its a bought account as up until August 2016 it was all chinese then a 6month gap and suddenly english writing getting paid for following social media channels.
1497  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Overheating Shutting down issues on: May 01, 2017, 10:45:15 AM
Mining anything with a laptop is futile and will burnout the laptop before youve even earnt enough to cover the cost of it.
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig 7 or 8 gpu on: April 30, 2017, 07:52:52 PM
If youre mining bitcoins with them then youre a few years too late. If youre mining an altcoin then this is the wrong section. Check out the "Altcoins" section of the forum  Wink
1499  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [FS][UK] Antminer R4, Batch 2 (8TH/s) on: April 30, 2017, 08:49:09 AM
me wanty me wanty... damn i wish i had the money Sad

Same here. Always wanted an R4 but undeclocked an S9 instead.  Wish i could justify going back to bigger machines. But electricity cost made it pointless.  Sad

Good luck with the sale Bifta. Out of curiousity what abouts in the UK are you?
1500  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 0.02 btc for paypal on: April 29, 2017, 10:22:21 PM
I can do this for you. My only terms are you send the btc first (as you are newbie) and wait for one confirmation and then i send the paypal funds in your chosen currency.

Also i dont use skype or other equivilent chat type things. All business is conducted on the forum and in threads as proof of the deal.

Thanks.
