1561  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] $100 PAYPAL [WTB] 100$ BITCOIN on: March 01, 2017, 07:51:43 AM
If youare buying btc then you will have to pay more than its worth when using paypal to cover fees and the risk of you doing a chargeback. Rates are usually 10-25% above preev rate. So if you want $100btc you will need to pay $110-125 paypal.
1562  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Can I connect my Antminer S7 using a powerline adapter ? on: February 24, 2017, 06:17:26 PM
Where did you get the antminer from? If you bought it secondhand then ask the seller what the ip address is/was.

Or download IPScanner (not the bitmain one) and scan your network but using 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1 range and see if it finds it.
1563  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S4 Noise vs S3 Noise on: February 24, 2017, 05:42:03 PM
I tried some acoustic ducting attached to the exhausts but that actually increased temps as the fans coildnt push the air through. You could try underclocking it and see if that redecues heat and as a result fan speed. I cant remember if the fan speed had a manual setting on the S4 but if it has try lowering it until you find a balance
1564  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S4 Noise vs S3 Noise on: February 24, 2017, 07:56:42 AM
I had 3x S3 running under my desk in my room and coild happily sleep with then running. I boight an S4 with the intention of incresing my hashing power but it was like a jet engine. Had to keep it in the adjacent room and it was still louder than the S3's

Try and go for S7LN models or underclocked S7's and change the fan speed to balance noise and cooling. Thats the step i took and worked great.

Looking forward to the BF pods. Also the BW stick and possibly the complimentary 2pac (as mentioned in your other thread) for the delay in getting the BW gear out  Grin

In regards to the loan address how much of a loan from an individual would be worthwhile to aid some progress?

1570  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitminter bitcoin mining pool - Pays TxFees, Merged Mining, Fair PPLNS rewards on: February 14, 2017, 01:31:12 PM
i run now some days 3 pc on minergate. what your proposal regarding the  reward method. should i use the PPLNS fee of 1% or the PPS fee?

You runs PCs that mine bitcoins? Thats pointless you wont earn enough on either method to get a payout wothin a year.

Greetings, thanks for answer. i use pc with cpu 4 cores each and 4 cores of GPU and i use smart miner sometimes but not for BTC i mine ALTS.

Good thing you dont mine btc woth them. Not quite sure why you are talking about mining alts with your PCs as this is a btc pool.

1574  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Now that usb sticks are being sold by sidehack here is a new usb hub thread. on: February 10, 2017, 05:01:16 PM
Has anyone managed to modify an existing powered hub so it can support more power?

I know I saw one picture of a Hub that had been opened up, and and additional +5V and GND wire had been soldered on top of the thin trace already present on the PC board. The idea is that the thin trace would have too much resistance and would cause a larger voltage drop when more current is drawn.

There were a lot of posts on this in the latter half of 2013 and early 2014 when USB miners were popular.

I think thats what ive already seen. It was to a standard hub which had the unsusd +5v and GND. Just wondering if you could modifiy an existing powered hub to "beef it up" powerwise. Where woild the most likely bottlenecks be to stop it drawing the maximum current possible?

1576  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] [UK] Block Eruptor Cube + spare boards on: February 06, 2017, 03:02:46 PM
Ive got a Block Erupter Cube which I bought to tinker with but quite frankly I cant be bothered so its up for sale. Not sure if its working as I haven't plugged it in but was assured from the seller it was when he had it. Ive given it a clean and there is no damage to any of the boards. Its all in good condition apart from a few minor marks to the black case.

Open to offers. Postage will be quite high as it does weigh quite a bit.

1578  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Bitcoins For PayPal [High rate] [Fast Release] [Escrow Accepted] on: February 02, 2017, 02:22:01 PM
So you want to charge twice the going rate of any other trader on here and then you make sly threats if someone was to chargeback. Not a great way to conduct business. I fully appreciate the risk of paypal but being twice as expensive as another trader wont "make you a millionaire one day".
1579  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 0.0061 Btc for paypal on: February 01, 2017, 03:51:10 PM
I can do this for you if you still need it. We have dealt before. PM me if you want to trade. Thanks Smiley
