2441  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you think that we need new Ponzi section? on: February 20, 2014, 03:30:46 AM
Mod moved Ponzi threads to Games and Rounds subforum.

If they moved them to G&R why do I see 2 ponzi threads there and 5 here?  They must have deleted the rest.
2442  Other / Meta / Re: Ponzi world taking over gambling section on: February 19, 2014, 07:04:01 PM
So Bitcoin Forum has no problems with scams being run on their site. Huh Embarrassed
2443  Economy / Gambling / Re: !! NO PONZI !! 0% Guaranteed Return !! on: February 18, 2014, 01:09:29 AM
I help elderly people whose resources have run out and the social safety net has failed them.  I have been working with a 93 year old gentleman since August.  I have been doing my best but it's like banging my head against a wall.  It drives one a bit crazy which is what prompted me to post this.

I was able to help an elderly couple live out their last 2 years at home in dignity.  They recently passed.

So remember this is a limited time offer.  Limited to the time you have.
2444  Economy / Gambling / !! NO PONZI !! 0% Guaranteed Return !! on: February 17, 2014, 09:41:42 AM
Sleep better by not wondering if you will get money back.

Sleep better knowing you are helping those in need.

Thank you for your consideration.
2445  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ponzi.io - Fast, Guaranteed 120% Payouts on: February 16, 2014, 11:31:32 PM
Since you have Guaranteed 120% payouts would you please send me 2 btc for the 10 btc I have.

I don't see the need to send 10 btc to you first considering the Guarantee.  This will save on transaction fees.
2446  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinPokerLeague.net on: February 12, 2014, 04:49:29 AM
yep the site is dead. but i will post updates shortly and process cashouts. been busy i almost forgot about this. sorry. don't worry i'm not going anywhere for bitcents.

Where are you?
2447  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinPokerLeague.net on: February 10, 2014, 03:19:06 AM
I logged on an hour ago which used to be a busy time but I was the only one there.  Looks like nobody is even trying to cashout by the "Rules".

At least I lost only time but then again time is money.  If you are going to return any of my 4296 chips, my address is below.
2448  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinPokerLeague.net on: February 09, 2014, 05:42:16 PM
Hmm I checked yesterday and my account had a zero balance, even though a week before I got that bonus.  Sad
Me too. Suddenly balance got 0. Already waste time play there many time

My balance is still there.  I see 6 logged on including BlueMonkey but nobody is joining my table.

aldenpogi, how about I return the 2000 chips you gave to me and cashout the rest?  I stopped playing cash games when I realized I couldn't cash out for this past week and was going to play a bunch this week.  You are giving up after only one week?
2449  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinPokerLeague.net on: February 08, 2014, 04:57:41 PM
It was 6 to start a couple of days ago when last I was on.  I just tried the link to their facebook page and instead I ended up at the general facebook signup page.  I don't have a fb account.

So BPL logs in everyday but does not respond to questions.  Why?  It sounded promising.  I guess not.
2450  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinPokerLeague.net on: February 08, 2014, 12:26:18 AM
The following is on your facebook page.  Would you please clarify this.  It would seem to say that even if you qualified to withdraw by rakeing you could not withdraw if you won any freerolls during the week that you qualified in.

Bitcoin Poker League:   you can withraw 1,000 chips (0.01btc) per 1% contribution, every sunday when the final ranking is published. provided you have the chips left, and you didn't win any 500 chip freeroll for that week.

2452  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is anyone winning?! on: February 05, 2014, 05:24:25 PM
i deposited $40 and cashed out more than $300.roulette & blackjack

I could get down with blackjack. Which site do you suggest?

So a person with 2 posts said he won and you ask him where to play Huh  Then he gives you his referral link which is the only way to make money with a casino.

It is possible to win in the short term, that is why people come and come back.  In the long run the casino can't lose.  It is a mathematical fact.

If you bet that a coin would come up heads more than tails after 10 tosses sometimes you would win and sometimes you would lose but overall you would break even.

For blackjack if you play perfect strategy with standard rules the house has a 0.5% advantage.  That is the BEST you can do.  As people deviate from perfect strategy because they don't know it or they have a "feeling" the casino makes more than that.

If you really want to give your money away may I suggest you give it to me.  I just had the worst week of my life.  There is an old expression "up the creek without a paddle".  Well I have the paddle but no boat.
2453  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is anyone winning?! on: February 04, 2014, 04:16:43 PM
Casinos sure seem to be profitable in the BTC world. Is there anyone winning? Or is it a bunch of people making money off suckers like me?

The answer is suckers like you.  The games are set up with a mathematical advantage for the house and there is no way around it.  Do you really think that people set up these businesses to give away money?  The only thing you can make money on is poker and sports betting although it is difficult and most people lose.

Poker is the only game you don't play against the house.  They make their money by taking money from each pot called rake.  So you have to beat your opponents for enough to cover the rake in order not to lose.  Btc poker sites usually charge rake that is half what "normal" sites do because btc sites don't have the large costs of processing money or dealing with chargebacks.

My mom would go to the casino to play slots.  She said she found a good machine where if she put 3 nickles in she got 2 back.  I said, no mom it took 1.  She said, oh Shocked
2454  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com-50 Chip GTD Tourney Tonight-2 Player Min - 100% Poker Bonus on: February 03, 2014, 10:56:47 PM
I like the site but there still very few players on it. I think a few freerolls and guaranteed tournaments added would do the trick. just my suggestion.  Smiley

We definitely appreciate the suggestion and we are adding more freerolls and gtd tournaments as well.  Thank you for joining us and we thank you for your feedback.

I see that 1btc=100,000 chips Undecided

When signing up I was informed that for every 1000 chips (0.01btc) withdrawn you need to have 1% in rake contribution.  This is not only for freerolls won but for deposits made as well.  Is this correct?  Would you please explain this in more detail?  What is 1% rake contribution?
2456  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com-50 Chip GTD Tourney Tonight-2 Player Min - 100% Poker Bonus on: January 28, 2014, 10:30:21 PM
how often and at what times are the freerolls on this site? Also is the signup bonus still running or no?

We have a 10 chip freeroll daily at 6pm Eastern.  We will be adding many more tournament options today and will keep you posted.  The signup bonus is still running at 100% for poker and casino.

Tournament options?
2457  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 28, 2014, 10:26:31 PM
I asked this recently but I am not sure if I posted the reply from Seals.

Krill from tournaments is the square root of entry fee rounded down to the nearest tenth and then multiplied by 2.

They said they are updating their promo page but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Speaking of breath, any idea when the new client is coming?

Good to see that the 50 GTD had an appropriate fee as opposed to the ambitious GTDs last week that didn't run.

The lobby that shows all the tournaments doesn't refresh unless you select or shall I say re-select a tournament.  Not a big deal for me as I'm aware of it but it will be confusing for people.  Also you can't have more than one lobby open for a tournament.  When you have a lobby open for a specific tournament and then select the lobby of a different tournament the only tournament lobby open is the second one.  These are minor issues but I feel they should be put on your list.
