I hear, the first exchange will be IXC<=>I0C just a guess (because i don't know the guy) but it'd likely be doublec again... i mean, i can imagine it would only take a few cut+paste to modify his ixcoin exchange.

I will only add that "Thomas Nasakioto" is a re-arrangement of the letters in "Satoshi Nakamoto": On top of that, his name is found to be an anagram of Satoshi's full name.
seems you didn't 'add' much

Why would an individual not wish to be associated with the creation of bitcoin?
It seems to me 2 likely explanations
One more: 3) They fear for their physical safety if it's known that they control millions of dollars in untraceable assets. Isn't that a bit of a contradiction? The assets are untraceable, but you know who owns them? 'control' is not a contradiction for 'own'. please re-read joel's post.

i think clones will become the new ponzi. instead of 20 new ponzies hitting these forums every day, we'll see 20 new bitcoin clones per day each with the basic pyramid idea of 'get in early, don't get left holding the bag at the end'.

anyone want to make a pre-emptive trade? i'm not a miner, but would like to purchase 20,000 i0coins for 2 btc (rate 0.0001). we agree on the deal now, with physical delivery no later than launch+72 hours (should be plenty of time). edit: if the above price is unattractive, please post how much you'd charge for 20,000 i0coins... even though they don't exist yet

don't know if this is serious or not but photoshop is fun, so here's a freebie: vector-based PSD available at http://payb.tc/iocoin_logo.zipand incase it's not obvious, it's supposed to be an 'eye' with an 0 in it.

not commenting on whether or not ixcoin will 'succeed', but i do think this is rather funny: changing 50 to 96 = developer

is the hoodie material thin like a t-shirt or thick like a jumper? (winter or summer hoodie?). how much to ship a size M to queensland?
Hey, shipping works out to be just under $47 from Zazzle, however I have no idea on the quality or type of material they use for their hoodies. What do you think? do you mean: hoodie: $28 shipping: $47 or hoodie: $28 shipping: $19 total: $47 either way, the shipping is really expensive... a shirt shouldn't be that heavy, even a thick one. i really like the design, but i think i'll wait until either a) your shipping options are cheaper, or b) an aussie store opens with some decent designs.

No thanks.. I don't understand why people ask the person with BTC to send first if Paypal can be reversed, BTC cannot..
in my experience paypal takes a looooong time (6 weeks) to get reversed and even then it's not guaranteed. i'd only trade with you if you sent first. ...if i hadn't closed my paypal account during #OpPayPal

Within just a few days Ixcoin is trading for around 0.005 BTC each, so at the current exchange rate that's about 4.8cents each Ixcoin?
Think about how much it will be worth a year from now...
4.9 cents?

That's not a significant difference not when compared to 100% but if you compare it to what has happened with difficulty increases in the past... would you rather a +2% change or a -20% change Anything in the negatives, it could go down -.0000000000000000000000001% and I would be happy, as long as it doesn't go up...EVER! Realism factor (1-10):HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA really don't want it to go up? the % i was referring to was the change in the amount earned per day. eg 1 btc vs 1.02 btc = +2% which is unusual as normally miners are gradually earning less per day.

I'm pissed because up until now I'd never really lost on bitcoin. I've missed out on all the major opportunities due to buying and selling at the wrong time but somehow i'd always managed to just break even. Now with this I have actually lost money and i'm not happy about it. It's all my own fault yes and obviously I wanted something for nothing but I got nothing for something and I should have seen something like this coming a mile away but I got caught out and I want to rant about it.
what did you do freak out and sell low? Yes, I probably should have waited longer to get more of my BTC back as it had risen a bit since I sold but overall I think this thing will die soon. The "investors" will drop of now that the excitement has died and it will soon stop being profitable to mine. If you don't know how to day trade then don't do it at all. End of story. yes and if you don't know how to walk or ride a bike, don't do that either. only ever do things that you already know how to do.

i mentioned that i blew 10 btc on these vaporcoins, but i decided not to try to sell them... yes i could get back 1 btc or so but i thought i'd rather just forget about it for a few months and check back later... see how my couple o' thousand ixc are doing then.

As a general rule, financial systems should always store values in decimal format and not in floating point.
isn't 'decimal format' just a fancy name for 'string with a dot in it'? seems that way in mysql anyway.
