2521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and it uncertainties on: December 16, 2021, 02:05:25 PM
Well my advice would be that don't trade when your emotion is at rage, because that would ruin everything, instead of making profits, you will going to make regrets and more frustrations that could discourage you to continue your Trading journey. Also don't forget that losing a trade is normal, you don't have to blame yourself for that, everyone started just like that.

Trust your process, don't rush things up, because there's no shortcut to being a professional trader, and when you became one, sky is the limit for your profits.
2522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Millennial trading formula on: December 16, 2021, 01:11:29 PM
Crypto trading is getting more and more technical as the days goy, and the formula that worked back then in 2018 is no longer accurate at this moment 2021 came with a lot of upgrades with many exchanges coming up with new features on the exchange.
So being forced to ask what are the most updated guide for newbies that have been out of trading for some time now.

I'm confused on the formula thing you were saying OP. Exchanges may have been upgraded some features on their platforms but the approach on Trading didn't change. My guess is that you need to study more because it might help you to gain more knowledge that might be the key to your answers, to gain profit again, to start trading like you used to. Sometimes old knowledge about trading is outdated, so don't be afraid to grow more rooms for your Trading experience.
2523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting to Risk Free Fights on: December 16, 2021, 12:30:26 PM
Risk-free fights is a very conventional concept.

What does no risk mean?  In gambling, the probability of winning is always positively correlated with risk.  The greater the risk, the higher the probability of winning.  Otherwise it can not be!  If this were not the case, all players would be betting on risk-free fights .  This is similar to the concept of a grail or perpetual motion machine.

In my opinion, it is pointless to place bets on the outcome of sports without insider knowledge or serious analytics.  It is a trap.  Loss of money

Exactly.

It wouldn't be called "gambling" without any risk at all. Risk free fights do not exist, unless you won't bet anything to it, unless the fight won't have any winner because that's the deal, like a sparring fight. Risk free means you're not doing anything at all, your money is at rest and your profit is just imagination, that's the simplest way to explain that.
2524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for the dump in Bitcoin and most of the Altcoin? on: December 15, 2021, 02:40:16 PM
Things were getting better as we were expecting a pump in the value of bitcoin but it was dropped by over 10%. Is it just the usual December pulback or it is here to stay I mean a long bearish run? How are you preparing for a possible bull trap and now even if it was temoprary it might take some for the market due to fud.

I think this is just the usual December pullback trend plus other factors such as fear of the new covid-19 variant which is omicron, government regulations and concerns, market correction, and whales making various movement that causes downtrend. So just the same usual reasons + the pandemic threat which explains the red color in the market for the past few days already. I think this is just temporary and sooner, bitcoin together with other coins will eventually bounce back. Hopefully, the market will recover in the early quarter of 2022 for those people who wanted to withdraw some funds. Because right now, it isn't really ideal to sell because price positions are low. Although I must say it is very ideal to buy and go shopping right now because everything is on "sale". This is a great opportunity to buy the dip on those reputable coins. If you plan to stay for the long term, you should not worry so much because bitcoin will regain its price position in no time. You just have to have patience to wait. Crypto isn't for the faint-hearted people. Buy the fear, sell the greed.
2525  Economy / Gambling / Re: How I managed to play Atari Casino before it was officially launched on: December 15, 2021, 02:02:06 PM
Some of you may have heard about the announcement of a crypto casino from Atari.

I was hooked by this news and from time to time I monitored the site on which this casino was supposed to be launched casinoatarti.com

For a long time, the site was protected by the administrator's login and password, but yesterday this form disappeared. Instead, a casino registration form appeared, clearly not finalized.

I hurried to register and test this casino, about which I wrote an article.

Then I tweeted this article and tagged Atari asking why there were no launch announcements.

A few hours later, a representative of Atari answered me and said that someone had mistakenly removed the authorization from the site and the casino was available all day in its unfinished form.

Today the casino site is no longer available. No official launch date yet

I really thought you managed to secure a beta spot of the game that's why you were able to enter without authorization. Turns out it was just a mistake by the developer. I must say the graphics is pretty decent and has the potential to be in competition with others.

Regarding the accessibility of the game, please let's just wait for every official announcement of the founder, ceo, and developer of the game. I know most of us here wants to enter early because of the perks and at the same time to master the runaround of the game. However, it's not really advisable to do different measures especially the illegal ones just to be able to enter early. Remember, if you try to bypass the system and security of a gane, there's a high chance that you will be detected in no time that could cause later on to banning of account. I believe the assigned people would drop the updates instantly if there is any, to let the community be aware of what they are trying to build and offer. Let's not take advantage of the glitches because it could cost us later on such as having many bugs inside the game etc. If you happen to experience and notice some kind of unsual activities, immediately report it to the developers so they can resolve the issue. This is to maintain the balance and healthy ecosystem of whatever community in general.
2526  Economy / Gambling / Re: betflip.io does not pay me even my deposit amount on: December 15, 2021, 01:31:11 PM
I wanted to try out these guys but sent by mistake a substantial deposit (10mbtc instead of 1 mbtc) . Waited for 3 weeks to expire the bonus which had ridiculous rollover requirements. Then I was asked to rollover my deposit amount 1 time with odds of 2 or more which I completed. After that I placed a withdrawal request on the same amount as the deposit. They keep rejecting it. On live chat I told them that I did not want any winnings (5 mbtc), just my deposit amount. First they tell me to place the withdrawal again but then reject it 5 minutes later... Please do not make my mistake to try them out...

It's so saddening to read these kinds of posts when it could have been prevented from happening by simply background checking. I've read several posts already regarding this issue that almost every deposit is successful, however, withdrawals frequently have problems that lead to failure which results in not being able to get their money back. Always put into mind to double-check what you are getting yourself into. Otherwise, expect losses soon after. If you have the resources to play, then I suppose you also have the resources to simply do your own research about the reputation and runaround of it before actually delving into it. There are many different browsers available, and from there you can check if the site you are planning to enter is legitimate and trustworthy or not. There are also reviews from the previous users, you could have utilized those to your advantage to see what kind of system they have and what services to expect from them. You have a fault here too, but it's done and what you could do is to accept, move on, spread awareness, and take it as a learning experience to avoid doing the same mistake in the future.
2527  Economy / Gambling / Re: Comparison between bitsler and stake on: December 15, 2021, 12:40:34 PM
At the outset, I would like to clarify the difference between bitsler and stake
We must know that stake only wants to offer more and more, and we always find that it develops itself in order to provide better services and better prizes.
But bitsler only always reduces its services

stake give us weekly and premonthly and post monthly and monthly and top monthly i get at least 250 usd every month from this bonuses

On the other hand , bitsler only offer 1 monthly coupon with less than 30 usd and some small coupons

stake when give u anything .. impossible to delete it
but bitsler only reduce all bounses ... and alot of players in bitsler upset bcz bitsler deleted their nitro

on stake It is impossible for such dirty things to happen

on bitsler , u must wager 800 k to reach black diamond from diamond 5 but finally u will not take any thing ,, i mean in this bad site when u level up u will not take any thing ... only u can take some small chests ,,, stupid site

but on stake when u level up u will take more coins
when u reach plat 2 u must wager 500k .. then u will take 400 usd

finally I advise you to stay away from this dirty site (bitsler)
Who does not want to develop itself
it just wants the players to leave it
I advise you to play on the stake site
it is the only one who will give you so much

Did you suffer losses from bitsler? Because the grudge is very obvious from your post. If you experienced some problems regarding their service and you happen to have proofs that you have been bypassed by their system, then you can post a thread in the scams and accusations board regarding your issue. Because comparing stake and bitsler when you obviously have a bad experience to the latter without actually trying to resolve it and wait for their response is completely biased. I suggest you talk to their representatives first and wait for their initiative to resolve your concerns. Now, if there has still no move done by them, that's the time your comparison will be valid. Just be sure to have pieces of evidence to support your claim the moment you start to make another thread of comparison.
2528  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pragmatic play slots not available in my region on: December 15, 2021, 11:50:30 AM
Hi, I love slots and I play slots whenever I have a chance to but as much as I love playing slots I don't really earn much in them. Nostly the good games are not available in my region and it really sucks. Can someone explain why they don't give access to games with great payout to people from other regions? I find it quite unfair.

In every country, there are different levels of restrictions, hence, it is possible that one game that is available in other countries might not available to yours because of security reasons such as following the local protocols. After all, it's the government who controls those who they will permit or reject to operate in their country may it be online or in the physical aspect. As much as you want certain games to be available to you, the developer and owner can do nothing about it since they have to abide by the laws imposed. Probably if the owner is just to be followed, surely they would want to spread their reach as wide as they can to make more profits. It will be a winning scenario from the, however, it's beyond their ability.

If you really want to play, you can opt to find some alternatives to those games that you like. I don't really recommend using VPN as it could lead to being punished once caught. In addition, I think most casinos don't allow its usage so you'll just end up being banned.
2529  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe good time to loan money to invest in crypto on: December 14, 2021, 01:59:48 PM
Maybe now its a good time to invest
And borrow money.
Btc goes 120,000$  if you buy now you make like over 60,000$ profit.
But dont buy just btc divide ur portfolio ...
Buy few metaverse few top coins maybe web3 and u wait ATH and you sell it.
Pay i ng back loan and u are in profit.
Next year as we all know ATH

This is not a piece of good financial advice. I know that we all want to buy the dip and eventually sell and make a profit when the ATH happens, but borrowing or loaning money just to invest is a no-no. The golden rule in crypto should always be remembered by everyone here which is to only invest what you can afford to lose. You should not invest money that is not even yours, most especially if you know it to yourself that you can't pay that amount back once shit happens. Let's all be reminded that crypto is volatile and it won't always be in ur favor. Let's not just follow the hype and instead study what we are getting ourselves into to avoid regret.

I have seen so many confessions about borrowing/loaning money and ending up being bankrupt and even buried deeper on their debts just because they decided to invest it without proper knowledge. What you stated is really possible to happen, however, one must know how the crypto market moves first. If they will loan money and invest it now that we're still in ATL and happened to invest it in the wrong coin/s, they will surely be dumbfounded.

It's really good to invest in crypto. I know many people that achieved their financial freedom through cryptocurrency. But always just invest your spare money. Not the money you are using on your daily expenses and most especially not that money that you intend to borrow as the risk is always high in crypto. We should only risk the money we can accept to let go.
2530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or hardware wallet ? on: December 14, 2021, 01:25:20 PM
What are the advantages and disadvantages of these two methods to store your coins?

Both have their advantages and disadvantages. It would just really be on your personal preference to choose which one will suit what you want and need.

Exchange Advantages:

1. Convenience - It is convenient to use in a sense that you don't have to undergo many and long processes before transacting. This is easy to install as well and most of the time free download in PlayStore or AppStore. After you download, you'll just follow a few steps to be able to make and use your account. You can access it anytime, anywhere as long as you have your gadget in you, you  can open your account.

2. Easy to learn how to use - Because of its simple interface, it is easy to familiarize and to use regardless of age bracket. Its features are mostly comprehended quickly as well as the runaround inside the exchanger platform.

Exchanger Disadvantages:

1. KYC is required - To some this is a disadvantage that's why I put it here. In most exchanges, KYC is mandatory most especially if it is a centralized one because they just follow local government protocol as well as to detect the accounts of those people who are doing illegal activities such as laundering money using their platform. This possess a risk because once you give your consent in providing your personal information to them, they could use or sell it without you knowing, despite having the agreement that they will keep your personal data private. Unfortunately, this really happens. In addition, identity theft is also possible once their security has been breached which could lead to a bigger problem in the future if ever it happens.

2. Hacking incident is frequent - I think most of us are already aware of this. Several incidents have been reported in the past up until the present regarding this issue. Exchangers, most especially the centralized ones are prone to hacking because they have weaker security protocols compared to others which is the reason why it is mostly infiltrated by hackers. Recently, coinbase has been compromised which just caused thousands of users to lose money they have their account. Despite the OTP feature and other security measures of exchangers, the hackers still manage to bypass the security with just a few clicks and viola! they were able to stole huge sum of money that cannot be returned back to the account holders.

Hardwallet Advantages:

1. Security - No doubt, hardwallet is really the best when it comes to security. If you want your assets to be safe, it is recommended to have a hardwallet that could gatekeep your assets while you are doing your own thing. Because hardwallets have a built-in and specialized chips in them, it is harder for a hacker to infiltrate your account. Once they try, they won't be able to succeed unless you give your password and seed phrase to them wide open.

2. More coins are available and many accounts can be stored - In hardwallets, there are more options in coins. You are not limited to the usual coins but can access many coins in which you can invest and trade in. In addition, you could add more accounts depending on your hardwallet model. In some hardwallets, it has 20 maximum accounts, some 50 accounts, and so on. Of course, this varies in accordance to the price. Indeed, you get what you pay for.

Hardwallet Disadvantage:

1. Cost - Hardwallets are expensive. Most of it costs over hundred or even thousand dollars depending on the brand, model, and features. But this should not be viewed as a worthless expense because we are talking about security here. If you can afford to invest in crypto, you should also invest in security. Because once your account has been hacked, all of your assets will be compromised, be gone, and all put into waste in no time.

I hope I was able to answer your question and help you decide which one is better by laying down all the information about the two.
2531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin main use case now on: December 14, 2021, 12:32:23 PM
Btc main use case now is this:
Bitcoin is good market prices indicator to show just wich way all other coins likely will go.

If there is another reasons to use ....its unlikely.
People say specially traders that btc price is good indicator also to show wich way altcoins might go.
For payments and moving funds the stablecoins are definately best ones.

But yeah..now we know btc main usecase

Bitcoin is a currency and store of value. I don't really believe that the main use of bitcoin nowadays is intended as an indicator of price movement in the market only. It could be an indicator but that is not its main usage. In addition, not all coins actually move alongside the bitcoin's price. Hence, it wouldn't be accurate to claim that. Although it would work for the majority of the coin, but not for all because some coins still go against the flow of the current market just like now wherein some coins continue to pump despite the downhill trend of bitcoin.

One must still equip himself with proper knowledge regarding technical analysis to know which coin is best to invest in right now that we have a bearish market and which one is not worth it to risk.
2532  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin payment Agent point on: December 14, 2021, 11:49:25 AM
As the adoption of Bitcoin is getting wider by the day, I and my teammate live in a small community in El Salvador where Bitcoin is now a legal tender.

We don’t have a physical bank 🏦  or ATM as young programmers. We have designed a Fintech software that will link our bank account to our wallet using lightning. network, all debits are from our bank account and deposit to our Bitcoin wallet. We are in a test stage ready to be launched this coming week.

Our services are:

1: POS service Bitcoin to USD,

you scan our barcodes, get our wallet make your

deposit we give you the US dollars equivalent in cash.

2: helping you set up your government-approved wallet

and receive your $30 BTC airdrop

We charge no fees, for now, just community support towards Bitcoin adoption in our country.

If this is true, this is a great innovation and initiative for our community. Having the younger generation be interested in programming and eventually making a contribution to the betterment of our community is something to appreciate. Taking the few steps to make the today and future better is a huge move most especially for those who are into doing cryptocurrency. This will be of great help to your country El Salvador and hopefully, it would be adopted worldwide and make the same initiative by other countries as well.

Using the lightning network to avoid the unnecessary and huge amount of transaction fees is a good choice so that people would spend less whenever they need to. In addition, the transactions would be faster compared to using other networks which is nice as well most especially having it as payment method given that btc is already approved as a legal tender in your country. Hopefully, your innovation will pass the testings, and may you and your partner/s continually pursue to achieve it until you finally make it.
2533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn’t KYC anti-ethical to Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2021, 11:15:13 AM
When i first heard about bitcoin, one of the selling points then was the pseudo anonymity. But as of recently, it is hard to purchase any crypto without encountering a form of KYC.

I’m just curious of everyone’s thought on this.

Bitcoin originally has the redeeming quality of anonymity, however, as time passes by, anonymity isn't really much prioritized by the users most especially the newbies who are only after profit. This is because before even entering crypto, they are used to central organizations that require KYC to be able to use their platform. In addition, to some users, it isn't really much of a big deal even for those who are pioneers in the crypto world. I think it really just boils down to the matter of preferences. There are people who know the risks of KYC, yet they still choose to do it because they have no other choice, otherwise they will not be able to utilize the platform because they will not be verified if they won't undergo such. There are also people who know the risks but don't really mind as long as they benefit. There are also people who just basically go with the flow. The reasons for each one differs and that's totally okay as long as they know they are responsible for whatever will happen to their funds for signing up to such.

There are still exchangers that don't require KYC but there are only a few of them left because of legality issues such as avoiding AMLA and obeying the local government. Anyone could opt to do whatever they think would make their account secure and more convenient while being used because we're all entitled to that. After all, we are not really being forced to undergo such. We still have choices and it just depends on us whether we will prioritize convenience or safeness.

2534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One problem with BTC on: December 14, 2021, 10:43:47 AM
It has no owner if something happens who do i complain ?
If something not right with eth i can complain to V Butern
Right now the owner might be of btc GRAYSCALE so the Micheal Sonnershein the Satoshi Ceo of company.
Second question who will guarantee my btc safety ?
I trust exchangers as i trust people who are well known
But i think we not ready for decentralized finances as someone got to give out guarantees.
Right now the biggest shareholders are arkinvest and grayscale so i guess they should also have more liability and responsebility as tgey got more profit of dumps and pumps as they are biggest ones so they can manipulate with prices but still btc needs owner the company who will be responseble for all
I guess we can send complains about btc to him.

My grandfather said if no responsebility of person then no assurence of great business.

Your coins, your responsibility. Technically speaking, you can't really file a complaint regarding something that doesn't seem "right" to your perspective most especially if it is only about the price fluctuations in the market because the market controls that aspect, not the founder nor developer.

BTC has no CEO. If so, it would defeat its own purpose. BTC has been made to be our own version of banks. It exists so that we can take full control of our money and not only rely upon other people or organizations to take good care of it.

You guarantee the safeness of your account. Once you enter the cryptocurrency world, you must know that no one else is to be praised or blamed other than yourself once you make actions that could either benefit or cause drawbacks to you. You are the one responsible for your account and funds. Hence, you should do your utmost ability to protect it from any possible type of hacking and scamming.
2535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Prime Minister Promoting Bitcoins Giveaway on: December 14, 2021, 10:10:12 AM

I was shocked to see that the Indian prime minister announced bitcoin as a legal tender in India and also giving away free bitcoin but to my disappointment it was done after his account was hacked.

PM Modi’s Twitter handle ‘briefly compromised’, bitcoin giveaway link shared

The title is quite misleading. The first time I read it, I thought it was all about promoting the giveaway of bitcoin, and turns out, it was all about the hacking incident, not really promoting, so I suggest you change the title to avoid confusing other readers as well. This is such a clickbait as the title isn't aligned to the overall content. However, it's still good to read about the incident that has happened.

Any of us is prone to hacking. It could be any of the people around the world as platforms have their own vulnerabilities that are taken advantage of the hackers to gain something from it.  But of course, most of the time, those people who have been hacked and are more prone to hacking are the ones that have a wide reach of audience, are well-known, and have a reputation to uphold. The reason behind is is that the hackers can easily get what they want the moment they infiltrate the security of the account. Just like what happened to the Prime Minister's Twitter account. Since he is a reputable person, people trust him giving the hacker/s the advantage to execute easily what they want such as scamming. Since this is already the 2nd time around that his account has been hacked, I think the security is quite weak. As servant leaders, their accounts should be well taken care of and should have high safety protocols. May this serve as a lesson to them.

As for the Twitter followers of any reputable personality, let's avoid being a victim to such events by double-checking first whether the announcement is true or not. Avoid giving any personal information no matter how famous the person asking you is. Don't be easily fooled and always stay vigilant. Once you lose your funds, there's a little to no more chance to recover it so always be on your guard.
2536  Economy / Economics / Re: I think most people still trust the USD more than Bitcoin on: December 11, 2021, 05:18:01 PM
USD is not volatile unlike Bitcoin, that's why most of the population still wants fiat even it's not gonna give them a huge profit in the long run, they want a steady profit but sure. Some people can't handle the thrill when holding bitcoins in their wallet every time the bear market hits, that's why they made another choice which is USD.

But for cryptocurrency enthusiast, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency are much better and fun to have than USD.

I have to respectfully disagree... Mas maganda kung may mag turo sa kanila habang nasa elementary school palang sila, dahil matetrain yung utak nila habang bata palang sila at mas malaki ang potential pag lumaki sila!

2538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you lose interest to deposit and play more..., on: December 11, 2021, 02:15:13 PM
Actually, it's not just about unresolved cases but when we noticed something not right is happening. There are times that some unusual might have happened like too many delays in deposits and withdrawals, glitches, bugs, or something.

For that case, I will monitor them for a few more days to weeks. I will also still continue to do gambling there but with caution. It's not easy to just decide right away to stop using that site after long-term use. Then what will happen next will determine my next move.

Pretty risky, in my opinion.

I mean, keep on playing on a certain gambling site with caution doesn't guarantee you safety, because you don't control the gambling site, anytime they could run away with your money without you noticing. There's no reason I guess to keep on supporting those gambling site if they've had an offense already. It's more better to try another gambling site because there are plenty out there.

Globe Fintech Innovations Inc., mother company of the leading mobile e-wallet Gcash, announced on Monday, December 6, its plans to consider a platform that will allow the users of its mobile wallet to invest in cryptocurrencies and local and global equities. The idea was disclosed by its CEO, Martha Sazon, in an interview with Bloomberg Television.

Ganun talaga kabayan since pera ang pinag-uusapan natin. As much as possible kelangan nilang maiwasan yung money fraud lalong-lalo na cryptocurrency ang pinag-uusapan natin, napakadaling magfraud ng pera. Ang ayaw ko lang sa coins eh parang nonsense yung level ng accounts kasi kapag nagwithdraw ka ng malaki, narerestrict yung account mo kaya nakakainis.

That seated slot machine should have not dealt with a jackpot for a long time before you take the spot. Then, there is the waiting time on how long the person will play there. It's a difficult strategy but could be worth it with patience.

Back then, there were cheating tools that was used with slots and just a week ago I saw one in social media about the story of that man. I forgot his name but it was a documentary of how he created the tools and he even bought a machine just to tinker it and find out how he can create the equipment. Investment.
As for strategy, I only have the superstitious idea to be bad luck at one position so I switch to another machine.
