PSG is gradually gaining shape and at the moment they are the leaders of Group F, so their chances are very good. Their opponents are worthy and PSG may well lose points in away matches, even Newcastle, which went through a series of losses, seems to have found its game again and is ready to move on. I think that in Group F, PSG have the best chance of leaving the group in first place, and I have no idea who can join them, everyone still has equal chances.

I think that yesterday when Mbappe was replaced due to injury, many PSG fans were seriously afraid that PSG would not be able to qualify  Grin But judging by the news, this is an ordinary bruise and Mbappe will play in the next match. At the moment, PSG has become the favorite, but the very next game against Newcastle, which has gained momentum, could turn everything around.
2582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 25, 2023, 11:39:21 AM
With this defeat I think the Chelsea management are starting to think about Pochettino's future. I think his arrival will bring new strength to Chelsea's young players. This defeat certainly adds to Pochettino's bad record with 3 defeats. Gusto's red card also made the match worse. Coupled with the blunder made by Tiago Silva. Some media mentioned that Chelsea's young players don't have much experience for this match and they are in progress. But with the transfer conditions that are quite expensive it should not be the right reason.

I see that with this defeat, Chelsea's chances of leaving the Premier League have increased to 1 in 51  Grin This is a small chance, but for comparison it is 1 in 251 for United and 1 in 501 for Brighton. But at the same time, Chelsea still has a good chance of entering the top 4: 1 in 5. This is only 20%, but is this not enough for a dream?  Grin
I don't know how long the crisis in Chelsea will last or how quickly it will end, but it looks like their fans will mostly suffer.

Congrats on the match day win @mitchr4. Solid 15 points, not bad buddy.  Smiley

Source: Superbru

I did quite well with 10 points and was able to take the lead in the pool. However, the leaderboard is still damn close and we have matches again tomorrow. That's why the table is sure to change again in a few days, haha.

Nice jump up three places at once, congratulations! But what’s more interesting in the Serie A poll is that you also moved up three places and also took first place  Shocked
If you have access to the results of fixed games, then I am ready to discuss cooperation  Grin

Don't forget to place your picks everyone!

Yep. This tour at the unusual time of Tuesday-Thursday may turn out to be a trap for those who have not set themselves an alert about the need to make forecasts on time.

the 5th matchday has just ended and we can congratulate casperBGD on his first matchday win this season. with a remarkable 25 points he secures the sportsbet.io free bet, which will be credited to his account tomorrow - congratulations for that! Smiley
~

25 points is a very cool result (and as far as I understand, the best so far this season?) I join in the congratulations.

~
at the top of the table no changes - morvillz7z could even extend a small lead over his pursuers

~

Maybe there are no changes in the sense of first place, but I finally got lucky in some games with an accurate score and I immediately shot up 7 places all the way to second place. Not bad  Cool But we must admit that it was an easy round and almost no one scored less than 10 points.

Yes. Simple life experience (in all areas) indicates that if we receive a lucrative offer from shady individuals, then there is definitely some kind of catch here and the matter will end in a loss. I try to keep my data private and will never get involved in any scheme where I will not clearly see and understand the entire process from beginning to end. Taking on responsibility (even criminal liability if the other party is involved in stolen credit cards) for the sake of any profit is super stupid.

I missed some part of the thread but was OP asked to buy BTC using a credit card?
It makes sense to decline when it's something like this which is the reason for them to reach out and ask someone to bet for them after they mistakenly assume OP is a high roller.

However, if they are real,  they are also risking a lot of money that they would send to someone anonymous like OP. I wonder how those guys would recover the funds let's say OP withdraws the funds to his wallet. It would be funny to learn he scammed the credit card thief.

No, there was nothing about this, but I assume that this is exactly the scheme there. Do you really know nothing about the scheme when you are offered to bet on a “fixed match” and the commission (payment for your help) is very generous (up to 50%)? Moreover, you won’t even bet your money - the required amount will be transferred to you. The problem is that these coins are stolen and the scammers don’t care how much you pay - if you win, they will receive 50%, but with the white money that you receive from the casino, you will also receive the winnings, but also subsequent problems with the police (you provided your account, which means there will be questions to you). This is money laundering where you are left with dirty money in your hands.

Типичная реализация рисков для ублюдопапуасий о которой я постоянно пишу, ничего нового.
Особо доставляет "дефицитность" генерации в Иркутской области  Grin Ну и аппетиты минэнерго тоже "в два-пять разGrin

Also about Chelsea, basically I personally still choose Aston Villa in a prediction room so yes, with Chelsea defeat at Stamford Bridge for me is not a surprising result anymore. Because after all, basically from last season also at least Aston Villa managed to beat Chelsea and moreover, at this moment Chelsea really had a bad performance. So defeat is still difficult to avoid, and I'm still not sure Pochettino will be able to recover Chelsea quickly because the situation is very bad and difficult to recover quickly.

Great pick! I'm wondering where the line is where I should stop assessing Chelsea as a top team/team close to the top and start making similar predictions. Their defeat did not surprise me, but still both the bookmakers (judging by the odds) and I still assess the club as performing below its capabilities. Maybe it's time to lower the expectations for Chelsea very low.
2588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ballon d'Or discussion and odds on: September 24, 2023, 06:03:15 PM

I'm already tired of listening to tales about the World Cup and its importance  Grin
Maybe you can explain to me how Xavi and Iniesta, who won the 2010 World Cup (where Messi completely failed - zero goals and zero assists) did not receive the Ballon d'Or?  Roll Eyes And in addition to this, Xavi and Iniesta won the European Championship in 2008 and 2012. But Messi (who was unsuccessful at the 2011 Copa America) received four Ballon d'Ors.

What I can say is that from 2008 - 2017 was the era of Messi and Ronaldo's rivalry. I think this was a bias so that at that time people only saw 2 people as great players who deserved to win the Ballon d'Or. At that time they both dominated the world of football statistically. That period was also a period of rivalry between the two of them. I think that's what made the Ballon d'Or in that era only have the names of 2 players.

Apparently you are far from football or haven’t seen it carefully  Wink
No one will probably argue about the era (although there is an obvious question about the boundaries of this era), but if we are talking about separate years, then many football players could qualify for the Ballon d'Or . For example, in 2010, besides Xavi and Iniesta, about whom I already wrote, such football players were Sneijder and Forlan (I’m sure few people will remember why, haha, because people are guided by what the TV tells them).
2589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Warning] Don't share your casino account! on: September 24, 2023, 05:55:03 PM
Most likely, the offer was from those who cash out stolen credit cards or something like that - it’s very easy to offer generous commissions if the money is originally someone else’s. I don’t really believe in syndicates that can do anything in the field of match-fixing, but in any case, such murky proposals should be ignored - there is not a single option that this is completely legal and then you will not have problems after collaborating with such figures.

such proposals coming from strangers for me are not to be trusted. you are only subjecting yourself to possible trouble. so even if the offer is tempting, better to let it go. there are so many fraudsters in cyberspace. they are hiding in different faces so to speak.
don't divulge to public about your credentials whether it is on your gambling account or any personal account, as these scammers are always on the hunt for their next victim.

I previously said here that we can not blame Onana and I think he is a great goalkeeper, its just that Man United defense failed to provide a wall against the opponent. now thinking realistically, a goalkeeper without a big wall being attacked several times will definitely have difficulty warding off the ball that comes towards him. lets take an example from several incidents in the past, such as a goalkeeper blocking the ball from falling and the opponent kicking the ball again but the defender strongly blocked the ball.

with this incident, are we still going to blame Onana? I am just a little annoyed that people only judge mistakes from one side without seeing the depth of the problem and Man United decision to recruit Onana was because it was acknowledged that he was a great goalkeeper and because De Gea had experienced a decline in performance, he was replaced with Onana.

Goalkeepers are divided into three types:
1.) Weak. Because of their mistakes, the team misses “extra” goals.
2.) Regular. They save what they should save but miss what they “should” miss. They don't do anything unusual and at this point the team doesn't earn any additional benefits.
3.) Strong. They save where they should, plus they additionally “do miracles” and save where ordinary goalkeepers miss goals. By the way, De Gea saved United in many games last year.
At the moment Onana belongs to the second category, and if he continues to make mistakes like in the game against Bayern he will move into the first. So far, I don’t see any options for moving him to the third category of top goalkeepers.
2591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 24, 2023, 05:40:52 PM
Retiring at the age of 32 is not the best decision for De Gea, he is still capable of playing at a high level, his reflexes are still very good and at his current age he is not considered old for a player who plays as a goalkeeper. De Gea must be patient until a suitable offer comes to him, he needs to maintain his physical fitness while being a player without a club.
I think De Gea's pride is greater than money, he will not accept an offer to return to Manchester United after the club treated him so badly. Currently there are no signs of elite European clubs taking an interest in him, but there will be clubs interested in using his services when one of their main goalkeepers has a long injury or is not performing optimally.

De Gea is 5 years younger than Neuer (Bayern continue to make plans for Neuer even at this age) and I see no reason why he can retire from football at that age. We must not forget about the difference between field players and goalkeepers - if for a field player 32 is a serious age after which a gradual decline begins, then for goalkeepers this is shifted approximately by 4 years. It seems to me that De Gea will find a club for himself (even if he has to reduce his salary expectations); in extreme cases, he can go to Saudi Arabia or MLS. He 100% will not return to United, firstly because the situation with Onana, even if it gets worse, they won’t remove him anytime soon.
2592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 24, 2023, 05:08:37 PM
I predict a score of 2-1 for Real Madrid to win.

The good news for Real Madrid fans is the return of Vinicius Jr, and Bellingham who was previously doubtful is also included in the starting XI. It's true that I agree with you, that Los Blancos will not win easily at their rival's home ground, but referring to Ancelotti statement, derby matches are always special in the sense of being full of surprises. Where Madrid will have the ambition to bring home full points, but of course the possibility of the opposite happening is also quite large.
~

Atletico also has a lot of problems due to injuries, so if Vinny is back then I would say that Real Madrid have the advantage now. I hope for a landslide victory. In an open game, Real Madrid must score a lot of goals, but Atlético cannot play the bus simply because after 4 games they have only 7 points.

It's very unusual to see Girona so high, level with Barcelona and with almost the same goal difference - Barcelona 16-6, Girona 16-7.

The news writes that after the game where Neymar received a yellow card (instead of a red one), the coach criticized his indiscipline in the locker room after the game (quite logical in my opinion). But after that, Neymar complained to the club owners and wants the coach to be fired! Can you imagine how arrogant this guy is? Poor Saudis, for the price of Neymar they could have bought 4-5 stars who would earn their salaries honestly, but instead they got an asshole who will drag the club to the bottom.
2594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 24, 2023, 04:52:03 PM
Brest win from Lyon with narrow score yesterday and automatically they able to overtake first place on standings league from Nice and i have to says this is very rare to happend because basically Brest can be recognized as mediocre team in Ligue 1 even last season Brest only finish at 14th place but surprisingly Brest at the beginning of season can performing well even their performance is much better than PSG or Marseille
~

Brest again surprised everyone and after the victory over Nice came out on top, but I must note that besides Brest, other teams also surprise - for example, Strasbourg, which took 15th place last season, is now in 4th place, and newcomer Le Havre is in 5th place. For me, Ligue 1 looks like a complete randomness, and when the only stable club (PSG) loses points, the whole standings become strange, but I think by the middle of the season everything should level out.
2595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 24, 2023, 04:43:28 PM
Juventus' first defeat this season was in an away match against Sassuolo and looking at the result, this was actually not too bad a defeat for Juventus. Even so, Juventus failed to get points to widen the gap in the standings again and for Sassuolo this is an additional 3 very important points at home so they can be in a better position.

However, in last night's match there was a quite funny incident between Federico Gatti and goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny, both of them seemed to miscommunicate which ultimately resulted in an own goal for Juventus in injury time. I think Federico Gatti didn't realize he had previously received a pass from Wojciech Szczęsny and instead returned the ball to the goal even though that place had been previously abandoned by Wojciech Szczęsny. Cheesy

The goal occurred as a result of pressure from the Sassuolo striker, Gatti, I’m sure, understood what was happening, but in such situations actions occur automatically and he (as theoretically should be done) passed the ball to the goalkeeper (who was not in his place). It's funny how Szczesny watched the ball roll into the goal  Grin

Inter continue to impress, although today the victory was difficult for them, but in the end 5 wins out of 5 games and a goal difference of 14-1. I think at the end of the tour their title quotes will already be around 1.7
2596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 24, 2023, 04:34:11 PM
It was a fair result for the Arsenal vs Tottenham game yet some guy lost 4 Bitcoin because of his bet for Arsenal,I followed his bet and I lost a 40 dollar amount  Grin and I wonder why do people find that huge amount of money to throw at a single bet and where do they find the courage to believe so much in a specific team like Arsenal in this case, scary to say the least for me.

Chelsea is a total disaster during this season and if they continue with such results I am afraid we will see them in the Championship next season,Liverpool is showing great performance again and finally Brighton won against Bournemouth after being humiliated in the midweek losing at home in Conference League.

Did you bet on Arsenal because of your own considerations or were you pushed to do so by the fact that someone bet such a large amount? Dangerous strategy if the second option. Maybe for him it was a hedge bet or maybe for him 4 bitcoins are like 40 cents for us, who knows.

Chelsea continues to make me laugh. It seems that if you bet against Chelsea all the time you can become rich within one season. 5 points after 6 rounds LOL!
2597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 23, 2023, 09:06:26 PM
[FT] Sassuolo 4 - 2 Juventus

Juventus failed to catch up with Inter Milan and AC Milan who are currently ranked 1st and 2nd in the Serie A standings, even though Juventus dominates the game in terms of ball possession, but that's not enough to beat Sassuolo, because Sassuolo has the advantage in attack. Sassuolo even managed to increase their lead in injury time because of Federico Gatti's own goal. With the results of this match, Juventus is in 4th position in the standings and has the potential to be overtaken by Napoli who will face Bologna.

Big disappointment for Juventus fans. I haven’t watched the highlights yet, but as I understand it, Sassuolo’s fourth goal will be the most curious of the tour and maybe even of the season  Grin Many attackers dream of scoring a goal from such a distance, but here the defender was able to do it (though against his own team haha).
If Inter wins tomorrow they will begin to repeat what Napoli did last season - gaining a huge advantage from the very early stages of the tournament.
2598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: hedge? cash out? $214,000 parlay on: September 23, 2023, 08:39:21 PM
I don't quite understand what your game plan is here. Let's say, by some stroke of luck, you manage to secure a $50k loan and hedge against the final bet in your parlay. What exactly do you hope to achieve if the match takes an unexpected turn? What's the math here? In such a scenario, wouldn't it be better to cash out the $86k right now? If you, however, have confidence that the last bet will pan out, then perhaps it's best to let it ride for a potential $200k win.

Each time his topics become more murky (and suspicious to me). There is no point in hedging in this situation - cashout will give almost the same profit.
Getting almost $90,000 from a bet of just over two dollars is enough to avoid taking on debt and not engaging in nonsense.
In addition, this forum has a separate section for those who want to get loan.

It would be interesting to see how City handles their games ahead.
Maybe City in this season will be able to do what the Arsenal invincible's did during their season where they went a whole season without loosing any game in the premier league. City play well and even with the ten men they were able to still not concede any goal, even with how Nottingham Forest tried. Pep is very good, his changes after the red card ensured that Forest will still not be able to do much. And I know City as a club that do not easily concede goals, so even if Nottingham forest had scored one, they would have struggled for the second goal.
~

You are jumping to conclusions too early. The only serious team City have played this season is Newcastle (which are clearly playing worse than last season). City have a super easy start of the season this year, but then there will be some tough games that will determine how strong they are. All the fun will start from the 8th round where they will meet Arsenal. Then they will have 5 more difficult games (with a break at Bournemouth), so we will very soon see how strong City is without KDB.
