Updated list of my bet
  • Inter Milan - Bologna i will bet on Inter Milan
  • Napoli - Fiorentina i will bet on Napoli
  • Lecce - Sassuolo i will bet on Sassuolo

I put 2 surebet, Inter and Napoli. And put one bet, Sassuolo for raise the percentage (for win more money) if Sassuolo of course win.
I think Sassuolo can win easy.

we will see if this way of betting pays off or not, this is the first test I have done with 2 sure bets and 1 bet to increase the profit

If you want to discuss your bets, it would be better if you show a screenshot or write the odds manually. Without odds, it is impossible to understand where there is value and where there is not.
By the way, bookmakers estimate the odds of simultaneous victories for Inter and Napoli as 1.37x1.62=2.22 This is far from a guaranteed bet, no one will give out +122% profit without a corresponding risk  Wink

Last season there were no less interesting defeats like 0-4 against Brighton or 0-7 against Liverpool  Wink But since then (at least from the game with Brighton) the club has spent 400 million on transfers and Ten Hag got those he wanted. Onana looks like the biggest mistake so far. If De Gea had questions about playing with his feet, then for Onana there is a question: by what can you even play with, buddy?
And Ten Hag’s arguments about psychology, spirit and other nonsense irritate me, it gives the impression that he is incompetent.

Manchester United management paid Ten Hag huge funds to add players of Ten Hag's own choice to the squad. But even then Ten Hag completely failed to strengthen the team. Adding Onana to the squad was probably Ten Hag's mistake. But ten Hag was also wrong to make Hojlund the main striker of the squad this season. United needed an experienced striker. Hojlund is talented but not experienced enough. Hojlund still lacks the ability to consistently perform well and score goals. Perhaps United's performance will be more stable if the injured players in the squad return to the squad. But now they are far behind. I don't think it's possible for Manchester United to get back into the top four of the table.

But Rashford looks even worse now so it's hard to judge. United will certainly rise from 10th place, but when we talk about long-term expectations from United, this is not at all the task that is set for the club every year. It sounds funny now but United must fight for the title. Everything else is failure. And this season United will only fight to get into the European League; they are cosmically far from even the top 4 in terms of quality of play.

After Copenhagen beat United at home the logic will be clear  Grin I have a suspicion that besides the fact that United itself is weak, some of the players are already interested in changing the coach, so they  specifically are not trying to get good results. This theory is supported by the fact that the United management recently supported Ten Hag - I always see such statements when there is a conflict between the team and the coach.

Agreed Wink I think the only shame here is that, just like Chelsea, books will start adjusting odds down for their opponents (the same pattern is happening for City after winning the treble, I miss days when 25/1 is normal for City loss). Chelsea way to Fulham was only 2/1 (I took this on accas because of the huge value) ... can you imagine that world?

I think you're right about United players. You don't feel the love nor even respect from that team of spoilt brats. They should be backing their coach but oh well, long may their malaise continue.

Hehe. I also took Chelsea. Take a look:

Fucking City owes me some money I think  Grin I was confident that all the clubs I chose (Seville, Chelsea, Newcastle) would overcome temporary difficulties (or temporarily overcome difficulties hehe) and give great value to my bet. And I turned out to be right, it’s a pity that on this day City decided to lose and destroy such a smart multi-bet.

United were so-so all last season, only the urgent transfer of Casemiro improved the situation a little. This season, Ten Hag got everyone he wanted, for example, he got rid of the legend De Hea in favor of Onana, who is still showing a clown performance. And the results are only getting worse. In general, United play as if they have no coach at all.
Manchester United did signed last season, bringing in crucial players that changed game pattern and made made impacts for the team. Casemiro is a very good example of playees that enchanced the club. Perhapes united didn't make quite an impressive performance last season, inconsistent results in games though they earned themselves a significant position on EPL table by qualifying for top four. However this season, everything is different, they have one of the worst defeats run up in EPL and also UCL. Erik Ten Hag made hugh mistakes when he replaced David de Gea with André Onana who's probably not having the best moments in Old Trafford, conceding more goals against his opponents, the Red Devils are unbalanced in games.

Last season there were no less interesting defeats like 0-4 against Brighton or 0-7 against Liverpool  Wink But since then (at least from the game with Brighton) the club has spent 400 million on transfers and Ten Hag got those he wanted. Some interesting games this week, starting with the Derby for Juventus.

This derby is interesting for fans of these clubs, for some reason in my memory this pair is associated with dull games and a score like 1-0. The only game interesting for me is Lazio - Atalanta, both clubs have problems and they both want to get 3 points. In general, the games will take place after the European Cup games, so I don’t expect great results in this round.
I could be wrong, but Napoli 1.63 looks like a value bet, and of course a Roma victory, as I already wrote earlier.
2266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 05, 2023, 02:25:55 PM
Milan's next match will be even more interesting to watch because Milan will face PSG who are currently in second place in the group standings. So Milan must try to win so that they can put themselves in that position by eliminating PSG from that position because these two teams have a real chance of taking second place in the group by winning in the next match. Although there is another possibility for PSG if Newcastle is unable to win the next match.

I don’t think that Milan will play strictly to win - in the end the game will be in Paris and they will most likely have to fend off PSG for which this match will also be decisive. Taking into account the fact that this will be a doubles game (after the game in Paris, the next game will be in Milan), I think Milan will try, first of all, not to lose. The game Newcastle - Dortmund will be more uncompromising, it seems to me. Dortmund only have one point and need to start winning, while Newcastle will try to solve most of their qualification problem in this game. With 7 points after 3 games they will 90% secure a ticket to the 1/8.

Bayern conceded 3 goals against such a rubbish team as United, and Copenhagen now looks like a specialist in playing number two. Galatasaray was very lucky that they were able to end up drawing 2-2 with Copenhagen, given that the game was in Turkey, this means a lot. I predicted a 3-1 victory for Bayern in this game, but Copenhagen scored first and tried to completely close out, which slightly lowered the overall performance. Bayern took three points but in my opinion still looks unconvincing.

Knock it off! Manchester United is not a rubbish club, they're just poor at the moment of the season, they're having rough and tough times. They will get out of all these. They have both internal and external issues drawing the success of the club backwards.
Galatasaray earned it, the draw against Copenhagen and the win against Manchester United, it was luck not shit. They deserve to maintain that spot. They should drop points when they face Bayern Munich.
~

I can clearly see that the club is having difficult times - they update anti-records after almost every round this season  Grin Maybe I'm speaking harshly because I care about United and I'm angry about these results, but the club is really moving away from the top. United has a shitty coach who makes “useful” transfers with an efficiency of 50% (what else can be tolerated probably), but he is ruining the team from the inside and I am sure that under him things will not get better.
As for Bayern, taking into account the fact that the games with Galatasaray will be 3 and 4 in the group and not 5 or 6 (when the balance of power is already clear and the first place may already be guaranteed for Bayern), then I expect two victories over Galatasaray.

Only it seems to me that this fight finally became meaningless after information appeared about the Usyk-Fury fight at the end of December 2023 or January 2024? For some reason, it seems to me that all boxing fans are now worried about Fury not getting some kind of injury during this fight so that we can finally see the most important fight of recent years.

Yes this format is great in the sense that we saw such amazing performance from slaman29 after he had the most guts from us all to back Galatasaray against Manchester United at Manchester United home when they failed to win in Turkey against Kopenhagen.

Someone explain me the Galatasaray logic please  Grin.

I am not much surprised that Copenhagen scored against Bayern Munich yesterday because Bayern Munich always plays an open score game with any club, and they don't always play a defense game, so with that, I am not always surprised to see a weak team scoring against them because of their patterns of playing. By the way, Copenhagen is not a weak team; they are also strong, and again, it was Copenhagen's home game. I expected they to play strong, and that is what they did despite losed

I don't think bayern munich underestimated Copenhagen, but true is that, that is how games do look sometimes. It is not possible that team performances will be at the same level all the time, they will perform sometimes weakly and sometimes very strongly, so I don't think strong teams will be beating all other teams by many goals all the time

For me it looks a bit strange that Antwerp is so clearly favoured against Shakhtar, I don't see their advantage. Especially considering their recent performance - 3 0:0 games in a row in Belgian league and getting completely destroyed by Barca few weeks ago.
Going with Barca, City and Atletico ML's. Borussia - Milan and Newcastle - PSG looks so difficultto predict, s, maybe it's worth to look for markets like BTTS or goals over there. Celtic - Lazio, usually I don't trust Scottish teams in Europe, but Lazio doesn't looks goodso far, so, I don't really know what to think about this game, probably I will skip it.

Exactly my thoughts but i believed to bookies  Cry Shakhtar is underrated all the time, but I thought that maybe their affairs had gotten worse over the past year (after all, there is a war in their country) and did not do more in-depth research.
As for Newcastle, I was sure that they would trample PSG, but I was choosing between the score 2-0 and 2-1 (after all, PSG has Mbappe), who knew that it would be a complete defeat. Overall, the group of death lives up to its status - every team has a chance.

Impressive comeback. I would like to know what the odds were for Braga’s victory at that moment when the score was already in favor of Union 2-0. Judging by how the game developed, Union spent all their energy on pressing and did not have enough strength in the second half. They still have 0 points after two games and I think that even for third place their chances are minimal.
It was ironic that Union Berlin lost the match after taking a 2-0 lead. This is a sad situation. Braga made one of the best comebacks of the Champions League. The goal they scored in extra time was golden for them. They are currently racing for second place, and in order to surpass Napoli, they must go into the match with the aim of winning all their matches and take risks to win.

I don’t think that I would like to see Braga in the 1/8 finals, since although I love underdogs, I am sure that such an easy option will go to some club that I don’t like - City or PSG. But after such a beautiful victory, Braga has every chance to get into the Europa League and prove itself there. Napoli are not as strong as they were last season, but it will be very interesting to see how they perform in the knockout stages.

Cagliari are on the last line of the tournament table and they have a terrible goal difference of 2-12 (lol), but, paradoxically, the quotes at the moment are as follows:

4.60 - 3.45 - 1.87

1.87 for Roma's victory?! Isn't that a value bet? It seems to me that no matter how bad Roma is and no matter what problems it has with its squad, the coefficient should be less generous.
Maybe the bookies is stilll doubt on Roma performance, saw from several away matches Roma, they still won yet in Serie A so far. So 1.87 for Roma to win, but indeed coefficient should be less generous. Are you already bet on Roma Sir? I personally haven't bet on Roma yet, still considering other options.

Bookmakers, as always, “know something,” but still I don’t understand why the odds are so good. When Empoli was in last place, Roma beat them 7-0, why shouldn't Roma win at least 1-0 against Cagliari, which are now in last place. Yes, I will bet, but I make bold bets, hehe, and it will be a multi-bet, so it’s better not to rely on my opinion  Cheesy By the way, surprisingly, I lost my last multi-bet with odds of 20 because of City.
2275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 04, 2023, 09:16:31 PM
Manchester United didn't do well in the beginning of the season last year and they are doing the same this season. In the last two games they lost unexpectedly vs Crystal Palace in EPL and Galatasaray in Champions League. Defensive errors are unforgivable in such highly intense competitions and injuries couldn't be an excuse there.
Their next two games aren't that hard before returning again in Champions League and facing just next Manchester City. I am not very optimistic about them in Champions League nor vs City.

United were so-so all last season, only the urgent transfer of Casemiro improved the situation a little. This season, Ten Hag got everyone he wanted, for example, he got rid of the legend De Hea in favor of Onana, who is still showing a clown performance. And the results are only getting worse. I tried, but looking at their fixtures list, Rashford simply has to do something soon. In their next 6 games they have City and 5 bottom of the league clubs.
I hate myself for even selecting him, but he already dropped 0.2 points in price. Hopefully he does something, rises a bit and then I sell him after the Everton game.

Grin Same. I expected United to play poorly (though not as badly as they actually play), but I thought that Rashford would earn points. But it seems that after re-signing the contract with a significant increase in salary, he no longer worries about anything and for now he is dragging my team to the bottom. Who do you plan to replace him with?
2277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 04, 2023, 03:05:31 PM
Cagilari are not the strongest team in Serie A. Even, currently they are at bottom in standings, and I think Roma can win surely and steal three points with or without Lukaku. But if Mourinho plays Lukaku then that will be a good for him, but also if he can score a lot in that match. Lukaku still has sharpness in scoring, there is no doubt but sometimes his performance is unstable.

Cagliari are on the last line of the tournament table and they have a terrible goal difference of 2-12 (lol), but, paradoxically, the quotes at the moment are as follows:

4.60 - 3.45 - 1.87

Al Nassr are among the favorite team clinching for title, the Knights of Najd is elite club who want the very best results in SPL. With the presence of frontline vital players, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane and Talisca, scoring goals have been made easy for the team. They have ultimate targets to hits this season, moving into more considerable essential spots on SPL table with the aides of frontlines who doesn't relent in games. Al Nassr keeps consistent winning this season, they're able to achieved it because of the star line-ups, who are ready to take the team to next level.

It’s quite interesting that Al Hilal is rated almost twice as good as Al Nasr, although in my opinion these clubs are not very different in strength and the arrival of Neymar rather weakened Al Hilal. Currently the bookmaker's quotes are as follows:

AL Hilal  2.72

AL Ittihad FC 3.40

AL Nassr FC 4.90

AL Ahli Saudi FC 6.85

AL Ettifaq FC 16.00

Maybe they reflect the tournament position of the teams, but I think that in just a couple of rounds everything can change radically.

MD2 table is updated!

Sadly, we had everyone submit on MD1 but 4 people missed MD2. I honestly wanted to PM but I was out all day, and couldn't reliably do so. Don't worry though, MD1 had many zero scores, it's not a bad day to miss: jayce, KTChampions, M1cha3lM, icopress. rohang
~

Cry Oh. I probably would have made a safe bet and probably wouldn’t have earned as much as those who took the risk and guessed right, but it hurts to miss a round. For some reason I completely forgot about this forecast.

United lost to Galatasaray. Erik ten Hag's sacking must be imminent. I've never seen Manchester United play so badly, especially after selling Fred to Fenerbahce, and I'd say there's been a general lack of performance from them. If I'm not mistaken, I've staked heavily on Manchester United and Arsenal, but with both of them losing, it looks like I won't get many points this week.

Unfortunately, the club management today expressed support for this clown. But as we know, words don’t mean anything and there is hope that now they are just looking for a normal option and Ten Hag is already a temporary coach. I wonder if he has a conscience and if he can leave on his own, how bad results are needed for him to think about it?

Finally, we have our first win. It wasn't pretty, but hugely damaging for United with Case, iro's sending off, and Galatasaray's enjoying their first European away win in ten years!
~

Congratulations! I'm still rooting against United (and will do so until Ten Hag is fired) but even in my wildest dreams I couldn't imagine United losing to Galatasaray at Old Trafford. With each game, United updates its historical anti-records and today I was surprised by the news where it was said that Ten Hag would not be sacked regardless of the results this season. Well... it’s unpleasant for me as a United fan, but there is a whole season to make profitable bets against this club.
