2201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 13, 2023, 05:23:05 PM
Stuttgart needs to prepare to sell him, this is the most realistic thing they can do  Grin
He is 27 and seems to be too late an age to dramatically improve his level, but on the other hand, he has never played in a top club and has not had the opportunities that strikers have with top partners. Who knows, maybe they will buy him in the winter, because he has one more plus - he did not play in the Champions League this season, so if any team decides to strengthen, they will be able to do so with the help of him.

I think Stuttgart must be happy that they can add a few players by selling him because Sehrou Guirassy is currently one of the most talked about strikers in Europe. I'm sure they can send him to the Premier League or the Spanish League for a high price. If he can compete with Bayern Munich's Kane throughout the year, I'm sure Guirassy will attract more attention.

In terms of performance in the first rounds, he has already broken Lewandowski’s record; Kane has not yet shown even close to such performance while playing in a dominant (presumably heh) club.
As I understand from the news, starting next summer, according to the contract, the compensation for him will be a ridiculous 20 million. Therefore, the probability that it will be sold in the winter (when Stuttgrat may demand larger compensation) is close to 100%.

What do you think about the fact that Ding Liren does not participate in tournaments after he won the chess crown? There was no news that he had any health problems, and given the fact that Magnus remains the strongest chess player in the world and continues to prove it in tournaments, Ding Liren’s behavior is quite shameful, it seems to me.
2203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 13, 2023, 04:35:26 PM
There are still 2 weeks to go for this Elclasico to happen and it is rumored in some reports now that Lewandowski will be available to play in their first El Clasico of the season.
I think this is definitely positive news from Barcelona even though they will be missing Lewa for the next few games, but this El Clasico is not to be missed by Lewa and he  should be ready to play if the reports are true.
However, other rumors suggest that Xavi may be starting to prepare with some options at the moment as he is trying to convince Vitor Roque to recover in time. He is a young player who has potential but he is also injured and has not even been able to make his Barcelona debut and it is rumored that he will return in January next year.

In my opinion, Lewandowski's participation in the game will benefit Real Madrid. He is no longer dangerous and has been well studied, and other options could be wild cards in Barcelona's favor. In any case, I see that the quotes for this game are seriously distorted:

2.26 - 3.60 - 3.00

If 2.26 were in favor of Real, then I would still doubt it, but 3.00 against such a weak Barcelona? Easy bet.

People forgot if signing a coach that perform good in previous team has no guarantee he can get a good result when joining a new team. The recent coach who like this is Ten Hag where he successfully brought Ajax into semi final UCL, but when he joined Manchester United, he just destroying Manchester United little by little.

With all due respect to Ajax, it seems to me that even in comparison with Bayer these are completely different levels. In the top leagues and top teams you need to be a little bit of a psychologist, a little bit of a diplomat and be able to manage the team not in the army style but in a partnership style. Ten Hag is completely wooden in this regard. It infuriates me when they say that “a player cannot be bigger than the club,” but in the case of Ten Hag it turns out that he can be bigger than the club because he cares more about respect for his pathetic person than about fruitful work and gets away with it.
2205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: October 13, 2023, 04:21:51 PM
This is the most rational strategy. But I adhere to an even more radical one - I take a “vacation” from betting not even when I lose, but simply when I notice that betting takes up too much of my thoughts and distracts me from my other life. I love betting and sometimes I am very lucky (I have made significant withdrawals of money) but I understand that betting will not change my life as much as I can do it myself.
Vacation or making yourself get involved with some sports. It doesnt really need for you to be that doing other things which involves money on which you could really just simply deal up with other activities as long it would really be diverting out your interest or attention with gambling.Losing is part of gambling and if you arent that prepared on losing then gambling isnt just for you. This is why it would really be that always important that you should really be that mindful on whatever actions that you are making and not really just making yourself that get addicted.
If we lose in gambling then better to have some break and if have lost significant amount then taking up some break wont really be that hurting or a bad idea.
~

You probably missed my main point - I take a vacation from gambling even without a loss or any negative events. In order for me to take a break, it is enough to feel that gambling distracts me from other things or simply drains me emotionally. I love adrenaline and entertainment but within certain limits. I understand that my system is not suitable for those who are already addicted, which means they need to look for more difficult ways to give up their habit.
2206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you not gamble on women sports? (tennis not included) on: October 13, 2023, 04:16:58 PM
I think it's because there's not enough information about them, i never bet in any women sports before either. Although i know some of the sports have years of history for women champs already and some information, but i don't feel like betting or even watching, only highlights of the game lol.

It's a vicious circle - you have little information because you don't watch games and read the news  Wink I think about any competition where women participate it is easy to find any information, at least no more difficult than about some football League C. In addition, if we think from the point of view of betting, then bookmaker quotes are precisely a concentrated expression of all currently known information.

Maybe Casemiro works so hard in training (unlike Sancho) that Ten Hag is happy, but he simply doesn’t have the energy left for games?  Grin
I don’t know the reasons (I’m not inside the club) but I see the result and I know who is responsible for this result - the head coach. If your players degrade, it's your fault. Even Rashford has turned into a log this season. You can blame the players (which Ten Hag does all the time), but even if the players are to blame, it is his fault.
Coach is always responsible for the performance of his players and the result of his team in each game regardless of injuries, sickness and red cards. He has to maintain his players fits all the time and has enough good substitutes to replace and rotate them when necessary.
Manchester United isn't okay this season and Ten Hag is under pressure to get the team back to its performance.

In the previous season, United was also not good (after all, during Solskjaer’s time they had better seasons), but against the backdrop of the crisis of Liverpool and Chelsea, they managed to get into the top 4 and Ten Hag was forgiven for everything, counting on further progress. In the off-season, purchases were made that Ten Hag insisted on, but now it turns out that last season was just a fluctuation and United are returning to their disgraceful average results. But now the owners are still in the denial stage. They either believe or pretend to believe all the excuses that prevent a “talented” coach from achieving success.

2211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you not gamble on women sports? (tennis not included) on: October 12, 2023, 08:49:13 PM
I do not know if this has been discussed before, but I want to know why most discussions on sports asides tennis is about the men's side of it and the women side is about only barely mentioned. Take football for example. Why is there low engagement in women sports from the side of viewers and even gamblers who are sports bettors? Is it not easier to win on gambling on women sports than men's sport? or is there no gambling site offering odds for betting on women sports?

I see that everyone is writing that the reason is the greater popularity of men’s sports, and this is partly true, and maybe this is the main reason, but there is also such a reason as the greater randomness in women’s sports. This is even good for betters, but bookmakers take this into account and if I’m not mistaken, the bookmaker’s margin in women’s sports is slightly higher than in men’s sports, which means the better will be at a greater disadvantage if he bets on women’s sports. I have no evidence, but it feels like it (I compared bets in men's and women's tennis).
2212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 12, 2023, 08:40:43 PM

Casemiro is a defensive midfielder, not a playmaker. Just because Ten Hag is bad at using the tools at his disposal does not mean that the tools are bad, but rather that Ten Hag is a fool. In addition, the fouls he commits do not mean that he is to blame for them, for example recently when Onana made a bad pass and Casemiro had to make a foul to save the team from a goal, it was Onana's fault and not Casemiro.
This was a similar thing I was telling a United fan when they lost against Galatasaray, Erik Ten Hag is not a very bad coach but I think he's poor in his decision making this season and it's affecting the team also causing them to lose some games when they should be winning comfortably, well all know he's lacking options in his squad depth due to the injury  crisis in the team currently but he should be able to manage the team he's got and put the rightful players at the rightful position.

Casemiro's arrival was very beneficial to Manchester united last season but this season he's been very sluggish and made many errors and barely mark an opposition player without getting warned or booked, however I feel his poor performance might be due to fatigue and he needs to be rested for a while to get him kicking again.

Maybe Casemiro works so hard in training (unlike Sancho) that Ten Hag is happy, but he simply doesn’t have the energy left for games?  Grin

2213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: October 12, 2023, 08:34:33 PM
Most people tend to believe that they can recover their losses with subsequent wins, but the reality is quite the opposite. The more they bet, the more they end up losing. I understand that it's challenging to control oneself in such situations. The thoughts of losses keep nagging at us, tempting us to rush in and recover immediately. As a result, we often end up losing everything. So, what I typically do when facing losses is to shut down the computer, exit gambling websites, and step away. Going somewhere or engaging in sports is a better way to take your mind off them. After a break, I find that my emotions improve, and my thinking becomes clearer, helping me avoid unnecessary losses.

I read in the news today that City still cannot convince Haaland to sign a new contract with an increased release amount and a longer term one. At the moment, his release clause is 173 million and if you look at other transfers, it doesn’t look too expensive or above the market. I have a suspicion that if Real doesn't get Mbappe on good terms, they will buy Haaland. An excellent opportunity for Real Madrid to have a strong position in negotiations with Mbappe.
Getting Mbappe for free is guaranteed if Real Madrid want to wait until the next summer transfer window. Getting Haaland in addition to Mbappe might be a good decision if they can convince him to join them except that I doubt Real Madrid will spend that much even if they have enough money for that.

No, this is fantastic (plus, it seems to me that both guys are mentally weak to decide to be in the same club and compete). When we talk about “free” at the top level, it simply does not exist. PSG spent an amount on extending Mbappe's contract, which is probably more than the compensation for Haaland, and Real Madrid will also have to spend money to get him. Therefore, for all reasons, only one option is possible here - either Haaland or Mbappe.

2216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 12, 2023, 08:06:45 PM
I was amazed that in the first 10 games for Real Bellingham, being a midfielder, was able to break Ronaldo's record - he scored 10 goals and made 3 assists (for Ronaldo it was 10 goals plus one assist). It is obvious that this acquisition of Real was the right decision and perhaps a key one for many years to come. Next summer Real will receive either Mbappe or Haaland and I'm afraid to imagine what the trio Vinny - Bellingham - Mbappe/Haaland will be capable of  Roll Eyes

Real Madrid have found the perfect midfielder for their squad. He is capable of assisting as well as scoring when the team needs it. Bellingham would be a worthy replacement for Luka Modric. And if he continues like this, he will become the best midfielder in the world. Bellingham has the potential to overtake Manchester City's De Bruyne. Bellingham's fitness is good and his performances are very consistent.

Haaland is unlikely to join Madrid from Manchester City. At least as long as Guardiola is the manager of City, I think we will see Haaland with City. Madrid management will try their best to bring Mbappe into the team. Because they understand very well that they need an experienced striker. Otherwise it is very difficult to maintain consistency.

It seems to me that the experience of Holland and Mbappe is on the same level, the fact that the level of the French national team and the Norwegian national team is incomparable has nothing to do with club football. Guardiola's opinion doesn't matter, the compensation for Haaland is only 173 million and when compared with Mbappe's signing bonus and his salary, it may even be cheaper. In addition, Haaland looks more professional than Mbappe, who at some point definitely “caught star fever.”

Guirassy is literally keeping Stuttgart in top places in the standings for now. He has scored more than the half of the number of goals they have scored so far. But we don't know how much longer he can continue to do this work consistently. He is already surprising everyone a lot by showing a much more extra performance compared to the previous season. Reaching the same number of goals he scored last season in such a short time is a really big achievement for Guirassy.

Stuttgart had better develop a Plan B for his absence as well. If they get used to this too much they can struggle a lot when he is absent for some reason.  Sad

Stuttgart needs to prepare to sell him, this is the most realistic thing they can do  Grin

2219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: October 12, 2023, 06:43:10 PM
That's bad news for Norway, but there is one thing I never fully understood and maybe one of you guys can shed some light on the situation. I read that there are some backdoors for European national teams to also qualify via the so called Nations League. Does this mean that Norway still has a chance to make it to the UEFA Euro 2024 or is it game over for Norway at this point? All these different ways to qualify for the Euro are confusing as there are also play-offs from the group stage I think. Is Norway officially out (apart from the unlikely scenario that KTChampions outlined)?

Norway has a chance to get to the Euro if they win one of the 3 tickets that the losers will compete for in a separate tournament. To qualify for this tournament (for 12 participants) you must have success in the League of Nations, as I understand Norway has no problems with this. There is a very confusing system, but to win the tournament you literally need to win two games, details here:

2220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 12, 2023, 06:33:26 PM
At the moment, the probability of Newcastle's victory is estimated by bookmakers as 1.84, and the probability of PSG's victory as 1.78. Reasonable odds for teams that are leading the group, but I don’t even know if these odds are profitable from a betting point of view. Dortmund is random, they can win against City, but they can also lose to Braga. PSG is more predictable, but Milan is a firm team and they can either hold on to a 0-0 draw or win in classic style 1-0. It is probably profitable to bet on Newcastle and Milan double chance.
Since Newcastle did very well against PSG in their home ground, I think there's a possibility that they'll still have a better performance as well against Dortmund, Dortmund have a better experience in the UCL than Newcastle but Eddie Howe's team is in a good shape and could take them by suprise like they did against PSG.

I doubt if PSG would be able to beat Milan tough they've got a good chance, because Acmilan is not performing well in the UCL buy shouldn't be underestimated based on their current form and performance in the league matches, their squad is okay and they've got players that would trouble PSG, anyways I strongly believe Newcastle would reach the next round.

Milan has never won yet, but has never lost either. For the Italian team this is a “minimum successful plan” and so far Milan is fulfilling it. In Serie A they had one disastrous match against Inter, but all other games ended in victory for Milan. If we take PSG, they have a failure against Newcastle plus several failures in Ligue 1. I wouldn’t bet on PSG, maybe they are the favorites, but I have too many doubts about this game.
