https://bisq.network/ Bisq is an open-source, peer-to-peer application that allows you to buy and sell cryptocurrencies in exchange for national currencies or alts. No registration required That's not what OP wants though, he wants to run his own implementation of Bitshares or Peatio. Not sure if that's even possible with Bisq.

Definitely going to watch Arsenal - Bayern and I'm placing a bet for Bayern to win with 2-1. I know they've absolutely slaughtered Arsenal back in 2016, but don't think it's going to be that easy for them now.

Not something I'm personally interested in. Not because I think this isn't a good cause, but because I think there are more pressing matters going on in the world. I'd much rather see a giant fundraiser for causes that look to lower world poverty, get people access to clean drinking water or tackle climate change on an institutional level.
Don't get me wrong, it's good that people care about this. I just wish people also cared about the more important stuff, like the destruction of our planet for example.

OP's lunacies take up ~half of the topics on the front page of P&S: http://archive.is/7nEPHPerhaps it's time for OP to go on a short (or long) break. Oh lol, if OP keeps it up P&S will soon become a subsidiary of Infowars. Looking at that entire page, I am again reminded why I don't venture in P&S anymore, that place is such a cesspool of conspiracy theories and plain hate.

--snip-- (reply to a deleted post) Any idea why steem is in downward spree?
Is Ned selling?
Uhm, yeah they've been selling all the time. Around 200K Steem per week to be precise. Though they are going to stop this in the future. Their new Managing Director made a blog post about this: https://steemit.com/steemit/@elipowell/steemit-inc-financial-update

I don't think the market reacts that much on such comments from public figures, even if it's Trump. That said, if those comments contain some indication towards future regulatory aspects, then I would suspect the market reacting negatively.
Public figures say stuff for and against Bitcoin all the time, happens way too frequently to have any effect IMO. I could be wrong though.

As you can see I JUST started out. I need to establish some quality content stream before I even dream of monetizing. Do follow if you're interested in keeping tabs. I'll need all the advice that I can get.
Yeah sure, it's just best that you start out in the right way I'll add you to my auto-vote service, then you'll get at least something every time you post.

Jeez guy someone's fucking grouchy and yeah there is no guarantee but there isn't in most investments. This is something that is completely up to chance but if it dose work than there will be a nice return.
Gambling is not investing, you're purposefully misleading people in order to fund your own gambling habit. There's no reason for anyone to give you any money. You're not going to get better odds by wagering more...

I think that can be used as an experience, to always believe in signatre campaign that you joined. This also happened to many bounty hunters, they change their signature when they find good bounty.
That's some stupid advice right there, so you should just believe in it no matter what happens? Look, shit happens, sometimes a really crappy project end up doing really well and you miss out. Doesn't mean that you shouldn't have left it in the first place... Then again, I don't join bounty-based signature campaigns. I'm more than happy with my regular Bitcoin signature campaign which nets me $150 per week.

If that's the case, then it does partially run on renewable energy. AWS exceeded 50% renewable energy usage for 2018. Source: https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/sustainability/I doubt running Bitcointalk is that resource intensive. Heck, it's one of the only websites that will actually load for me when my data is gone and I'm put on smallband

Without a doubt it's pretty and all, but I see no real reason for something like this existing in the presence of tons of either coins that do the same thing. Do you really think that there is substantial demand to be able to support this?
I think most people are going to answer no to that, as they can see that something like this is doomed to fail. People are going to use BTC, XMR, BCH, and so on and so forth to bet. They're not going to use Steem.
I wouldn't waste valuable resources creating this and maintaining this, you could focus on so much more.
What are you talking about? Have you just missed everything that was said in the last 10 replies or so? Magic Dice doesn't exist anymore, they have scammed. That said, your comment doesn't even make sense, dice does work on Steem. There are numerous other services that do work and which are pretty popular.

I just don't use mobile wallets at all, they're a huge security risk IMO. Mobile platforms are riddled with malware and the security of most mobile wallets leaves a lot to be desired.

I think OP is trying to point out the fact that we are considering the price of bitcoin against USD and we should not be doing that! What OP says is that, we should not be doing that, instaed we should derive the price of a commodity in bitcoin unit only!
Bitcoin has not yet reached that stage. I am an early adopter of bitcoin and way more devoted to it than a lot of people! But bitcoin is not accepted enough when we can actually do that. It has not yet become a global standard! It's just 10 years old only! Give it another 20 years of time, probably we will reach that stage where we will derive the price of any commodity in bitcoin unit only!
No matter how great we understand Satoshi's whitepaper, we don't really have a choice!
I don't think OP means that at all, he's talking more about the fact that most people choose to hand over control of their coins to exchanges. Well that's at least part of it, combined with the fact that we use exchanges in the first place to buy and sell Bitcoin. I'm personally pretty pragmatic about it, I don't mind buying coins from exchanges. After all, it's usually less risky than doing P2P trades and you often get far better rates, depending on which exchange you use. The only thing I really worry about is too much power going to one specific exchange. That's why I tend to use the smaller exchanges which have proven to be secure, Kraken is one of my favourites. That said, I do also buy goods and services directly with Bitcoin and I do try to find services which don't immediately exchange their BTC to fiat.

I wouldn't be surprised by anything anymore. If Trump can win the election purely by shittalking everyone , she could win as well Not taking the bet though, she wouldn't even run.

You are not bursting any bubbles. I am not promoting as much as I am building a backlink. BTT is the number one source of Steemit traffic.
Oh okay, fair enough! I just thought it would be nice to earn something from it on Steem as well Might be a good idea to get some SBI shares at least.

@legendster
I don't want to burst your bubble, but you should promote your posts while they are still less than 7 days old. I would also suggest joining some communities on Steem, so you at least earn something on your posts.
Qurator is pretty good or The Steem Engine.

I'm sorry to say it but probably 85-90% of the traffic is because of greed. All those signature campaigns, giveaways, airdrops some sort of "free money", attract more and more people who have come here to "work hard" and make as more as possible. Although I can (proudly) say I didn't have any paid signature until I was at least Full Member, but that's mainly because I didn't bother to check how it works back then, and I didn't know it can actually pay a decent amount. There's a good side to it though: signature campaigns mean people are actually willing to do things for Bitcoin, which adds to it's acceptance. Not to be rude or anything, but joining a campaign when you have a rank lower than Full Member wasn't really worth it, right? Well, maybe back then it was. I think I joined my first campaign when I was Sr. Member. I do agree that those campaigns have a good side, but it's also good to think about whether it's worth the spam. Well, it definitely keeps the place alive, that's for sure.

They will serve dutch food? LOL I'm kidding but the prize is only the dinner or they'll also pay the trip? Hey, don't bash Dutch food! I've had some of the best kroketten there Their fries are quite terrible though, better hop over the border to Belgium for those But yeah, pretty weird prize, I don't think anyone is waiting to have a nice dinner...

- I saw your website and went through its FAQ section and based on it, I wish to know if you'll be conducting KYC for all the users taking part in selling/buying products from there so to save the end party from being scammed by having all of your users' data?
Since when it it customary to have KYC procedures on a simple marketplace website? I sure wouldn't give up my personal data just to sell a couple of Xbox games or whatever. Sure, there will be scammers, but there are better ways to avoid that: Escrow, rating systems, etc. Besides, scammers would just upload fake IDs, while the honest people are stuck having their personal data on yet another website that could possible get hacked.
