2641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I spend the daily expense by playing gambling? on: May 25, 2019, 05:37:09 PM
Do you even have to ask this question?

The answer is obviously no, how can you risk the money you need for your daily expenses.
This thread needs to be locked now. Everyone here knows that you cannot rely on the money from the gambling for your daily needs. Do you know how risky it could be to let your family on the mercy of the uncertain income from the gambling industry? They will suffer a lot or you will suffer in the first place. You really need to get over this addiction and start a business. There are so many opportunities around to do so. Get a loan from bank.

The sad thing is here that people will still not listen. They will take the loan from the bank and instead of investing it in some proper business, they will again try their luck in gambling. They will lose the loan money also and will be left empty handed, making their situation much more miserable.
2642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: May 25, 2019, 01:40:22 PM
Since my advent into the world of gambling, i have never heard of strategies when it come to online casinos, apart from that of Porker. All most the rest gambling are purely for luck whenever a gambler want to gamble. Gambling, is more to be like a game of luck than that of the strategy.

Yes, we can distinguish gambling between the two sections. One section involves only luck which includes all dice games. Second section involves partial luck and partial Strategy, and that includes Poker and sports betting.
2643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: May 25, 2019, 04:20:41 AM
In the life of every player, there is a common denominator, the Losses, if you are playing in an inspired way and you begin to obtain losses and you retire with a lower balance than you expected, it is logical that many times the mood goes down, maybe there is a little sadness How do you overcome this? What strategy do you use to leave that experience behind and learn from it to come back? Since there are many people who fall into depression and find it very difficult to return.

Particularly, after having this type of experience my brain recreates some movements of bets and mistakes that I made and sometimes I draw good conclusions to avoid falling into errors, apart from which I am going to do some sports so that the bad things go away.

The best strategy to overcome losses in gambling is only to gamble with money you can afford to lose, and the best way to do that is never deposited more money than your willing to lose.
That basis rules should be followed by every gambler.
It's always good to have other hobbies than gambling, do sports or exercises are good for your body and mind.

Using the money we can afford to lose will be a good solution, and if we want to prevent from big losses, then set the limit will help you too. I already have seen many gamblers, especially my friends, who cannot set the limit, and they risk all of their money in the gambling game. When I ask him about why he uses almost all of his money, the answers that it because he wants to know until how long he can survive in the gambling, but I do not recommend him to do that.

Well everyone wants to minimize  the loss in gambling but no one wants to take precautionary steps for this purpose. If we do not set apart some money for gambling and continue using more and more money, a time will come when we would have lost all the money in gambling. It will be too late to realize this at that time.
We can only survive in gambling if we have a proper plan and we strictly adhere to it.
2644  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: May 24, 2019, 10:33:13 PM
I'm a bounty hunter so I use my rewards from the ICO campaign that I've promoting to trade it to coins that I want to be included in my portfolios, but if there are some good coin that doesn't have a bounty campaign, I used my own savings to buy that coin.
just like you, I get coins from the bounty and also buy using my own money if there are good coins

Most of the ICO bounty don't pay good. The coins collected from bounty are useless unless they make it good exchanges. You are very fortunate if you participated in the bounty and got good returns.

My source of income for investment is my day job, the money which i save from my day job, i invest that money in bitcoin trading and investments.
2645  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the real value of bitcoin and cryptocurrency on: May 23, 2019, 11:06:20 PM
Bitcoin and crypto price value are both volatile, so we cannot say or none of the community can't able to say the fix price of it whether it is bitcoin or altcoins. On the contrary when bitcoin goes up most altcoin dump its price while bitcoin goes down most of the altcoins goes up
something like that vice versa.

Currently we are seeing volatile value of bitcoin and crypto, because whales are manipulating the market too much. Once bitcoin become more stable, we will see many people accepting bitcoin as payment. That is when we will see the real value of bitcoin and it will be much more higher than the current bitcoin price.
2646  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 23, 2019, 10:57:45 PM
cannot be denied again as time goes on developments in this world are increasingly sophisticated so that makes all the prices of goods increase, with salary problems that never rise maybe it's from the problem of the company that you work there because every year every company will always raise salaries its employees.
I think nowadays young people are smart to work by looking for a salary that can change their future better and many young people who are starting to invest in crypto because they are aware that investing in crypto will be able to get decent savings for the future. ahead later.

It is fact that salary does not increase with the same pace as the prices of goods are increased, so the salaried person always complaining about lack of money to fulfil his daily needs. With Bitcoin and crypto trading, many salaried person are working part time to get some extra money through crypto currencies
2647  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A world without borders? on: May 20, 2019, 04:53:25 PM
See, a world without border makes TOTAL economic sense. Which is why bunch of countries merge together to form on country.. like US, like Germany, like India, China .. and like so many countries in Africa.. so don't give me the bullshit that it would be detrimental - it would be the complete opposite!

You are Op of this thread. have you tried to use this on a smaller scale? if not

Then go ahead and try to convince your neighbor first. if he-she agrees which is very very unlikely. then try to implement same with your colony-society-village-city-country- world.

If the neighborhood is not a good choice then Try with your best friend's family or your distant relatives.

You are brainwashed - there are open communities EVERYwhere on this planet. You are just living in your bubble so you dont know.

Also, having personal privacy is not the same thing as having borders.

A country is not a home.

The World is divided into continents and then continents into countries, countries to cities and so on, till we reach to the individual homes. All this division is to decentralize the power.  If there was a one country and no borders, how could a single man control all the countries or rather the whole world ?

A borderless world will be a big mismanaged and abuse of resources whereby the people will use illegal means to acquires resources and the crime will rule.
2648  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining in the cloud vs simply buying bitcoin on: May 19, 2019, 06:18:10 AM
I think cloud mining in general is not profitable.

Here are my calculations for Mining Cloud vs Buying Bitcoin.

All following calculations are done on annual basis.

All following calculations are done WITHOUT halvings and adjustments counted until you read later down.

Hash rate (total hash power of the world) close to 49 Mil. Th/S as of today May 17, 2019.

Every hour gives the world 6 blocks, multiply that by x 24h x 365 days= 52,560 blocks produced in the world in 1 year.

Currently there are 12.5 bitcoin mined per each block x 52,560 blocks= 657,000 bitcoin can be mined per year in the world if no adjustments and halvings happened.

49 mil. Th : 657,000= about 75 TH/s to mine 1 bitcoin as it stands now, before counting adjustments and halvings.

Let’s assume I bought 1 bitcoin today and paid about $7,200 (as of May 17, 2019) in a hope to sell it in 1 year at a higher price.

Now let’s see what would happen if instead of buying 1 bitcoin I invested the same amount of money in cloud mining.

Typical contract from a firm like Genesis Mining offers 1TH at a rate of about $60 all-inclusive per year (May 17, 2019), and that's including maintenance and other fees.

For $7,200 I can buy about  120TH for 1 year term of cloud mining.

120Th : 75Th per 1 bitcoin= that should give us 1.6 bitcoin over 1 year period of contract for the price of $7,200.

1.6 bitcoin is obviously more then 1 bitcoin which I can buy today, so cloud mining is better, right?

I think NOT, because remember we have not counted difficulty adjustments and halvings yet.

Now let’s do that, let's include them in the picture.

The next halving is in about 1 year,  so we don’t have to take it into our example as the contract will be over by the time of halving, so for now we just have to worry about difficulty adjustments.

But from historic data I never seen those adjustments less then 100% year over year and usually it’s even more.

So, in our example instead of 1.6 bitcoin, I am lucky if I get 0.8 bitcoin by the end of cloud mining contract.

Therefore, in my humble opinion, it’s safer to buy bitcoin rather then mine one in the cloud.

Would you disagree? And if I am wrong where the flaw in the logic and/or calculation?

I will give you simple analysis on mining and saving bitcoins.

1-Simple mining is expensive and it cannot be done everywhere
2-Cloud mining is risky as there are many scam cloud mining sites around us.
3-Saving bitcoin is the safest option (Provided you save it in your private wallet and not on exchanges)
2649  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: May 19, 2019, 06:05:18 AM
The good investors always make his investment more useful for the future then only he can called us a good investors more than anything he thinks profitably only to make the future to be brighter for him.

If they have a good design and a great strategy, the benefits will continue to grow every year. If the investor believes Bitcoin will be very good this year it is very true because the price will come back again.

The important thing is that you invest in something which is legit and will not scam you. Bitcoin is the best investment for me too but do not invest bitcoin is sites which offer daily/ weekly interest etc. Rather keep your bitcoins  save for future, their prices will rise automatically with time.
2650  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win one bitcoin on: May 19, 2019, 05:47:09 AM
Is it really possible to win 1 BTC? If it's true, then it's a big surprise. And this site looks good to me. I liked the process of selecting this site's winner. Also its graphic design and pretty good. I'm interested in seeing everything. I think it will give me good experience.
Let me tell you what is the surprise is. You get 1 BTC, then they get 4 BTC out of the tiles that was filled by bets of many. The design is pretty good? What? Their site is not designed pretty well.
I doubt they raise even 1btc for this shitty game while it's funny there's some here trying to say nice thing regardless of what other's negative feedback or they don't just read.

And it looks OP is tired defending here even he was just active. Tired of lying, perhaps.

I am 100% sure that no one will win 1 Bitcoin from this site but many people will still give it a try. The reason is that they are asking only for 0.005 deposit to be able to claim a chance to win 1 BTC. The offer is huge and sadly many greedy people will sure invest there .
2651  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to win in Freebitco.in on: May 19, 2019, 05:06:54 AM
First of all, I do not understand why you are getting on your base bet after 4 losses. anyway, I had a better strategy.
Bet will lowest amount possible and ignore all the wins you get. just try to get like some losses in a row like 4-5 losses in a row and then increase your bet to 10x and after that use martingale strategy of doubling your bet amount after every loss. by this, you will have like backups on your losses.

Even this strategy is not granted to result in win always. After the 4 to 5 straight losses, you are saying to increase the bet to 10x. What if that turn of 10x bet resulted in a loss too ?  There is no way to be sure that even after 5 consecutive loses the sixth one will be a winner.
2652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: May 19, 2019, 04:59:24 AM
My friend recently get scammed by a gambling site which he found by continuously browsing. On internet. Sorry but even he cant remember the name so i cant tell you but here's what you wouldnt do. He said he was searching about how cryptocurrency gambling work. He is much aware about bitcoin but not about using it for gambling. He find some "yellow botton" he said which offers gambling for newbies and the rest is history. Goodbye $200 . yes thats kinda bit small but should you wait that it happened to you with a bigger amount? Here's what you would do.
1. Dont click and browse non recognized site to avoid phishing.
2.. Always ask first the people on this forum whether the site is legit or not.
3. Dont put too much money on that site so if ever its really a scam, the amount it can get is minimal.
4. If it looks really legit, try some few games with few bets at first.

Being cautious costs less than not being aware at all. Dont let our greediness and dumbness takes over our financial life. Be safe people.

It's unfortunate that your friend cannot even remember the name of the scam site when he should so he can warn other people, so they cannot do what they've done to your friend,  the first thing your friend have done and to those who have been scammed is to report it immediately in this forum or any related forum and the most important thing is, not to forget the name.

Its not a big deal if he does not remember the scam site name. There is 1000s of them and you have to follow the above rules in order to prevent yourself from scam. If you just remember that this and that site are scam and should be avoided, it is likely that you might find another scam site and become victim of it. Just follow the above general rules and you will be safe 90% of the time.
2653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 19, 2019, 04:45:10 AM
Well South Africa won having one ball in hand. I think the women cricket is not that much entertaining. These days people like to see high scoring matches and if you see the women cricket then you will see they don't score much.

For example this match. The target was only 128 runs or so. But South Africa team had hard time to chase it.

Well, being a woman I hardly ever watch these women's matches. They are not as exciting as the men's matches. There are no big hitters like Kohli or Warner and the pace bowlers don't have the speeds that Mitchell Starc or Pat Cummins possess. Even the spin bowling is without variety. I have watched a few matches (long back), but never found it entertaining enough.

I still don't understand why women play cricket ? Is it just compulsory that every game should have a women version of it too ?

There are few games which are only suited to Men and cricket is one of them.
2654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did today bullish trend affect gambling! on: May 19, 2019, 04:20:17 AM
Bitcoin went as higher as $4909 today on some exchanges platforms!  It is the highest this year and will like to find out how does today sparked affect gambling and betting?
It has a high effect on the gamblers especially in betting. We know that a bet using btc will going to change. If the value of btc is low then definitely the bets in terms of btc will be high since its liquidity is low. Now that btc market price is high the gamblers bet in terms of btc will going to fall for its liquidity already is high as bitcoin market price pump.

It is just like to what I did. The bets I made before the btc pump is high but now since btc market price is high then I can only bet as low as much as possible because of its liquidity.

Bullish behavior of btc can increase or decrease the turnover in gambling. Many people will hold on to their btc to get benefit from increasing bitcoin prices ad others will still invest in gambling, to further increase their btc.  If you ask me the best time for the gamblers is when the btc is stable, as I do not think gamblers like the volatile prices of bitcoin.
2655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: May 19, 2019, 04:03:36 AM
Im ordinary ganbler only if I have time and also extra money I choose to play. I use some strategy always but sometimes I did not because sometimes startegy is not workd.  I believe winning on gambling is depends to your luck if you win or not. Startegy only is avoiding high percentage of losing but not 100 percent sure.
I prefer gambling blended with Luck and Strategy in both! I see lots of my friends earn a good profit dependent on the strategy or game plan. Here have a game plan drives you safe zone. If you don’t have a strategy or game plan, you are just hazard on your money this is what I learned.

Avoiding high percentages in losing should already be a big deal for anyone to consider the importance of having a sound strategy. Your luck most of the time runs the opposite way, and blindly making bets is something only a fool or an inexperienced gambler would do. For me, having a good plan shows a gambler's maturity.

In betting, you should do some homework and not just blindly bet on any team and wait for the results. In dice games you can use lower amount of money to play each game and do not be greedy in case you have won a decent amount. There are few tip n tricks which can help us gain more from the gambling.
2656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: May 19, 2019, 03:40:49 AM
Know your customer (kyc) is one security measure I support and do not hesitate to fill-in all my kyc required details. KYc is being used by exchanges, ico project some bounty managers etc.
But is kyc really needed in gambling section. I experienced a very hectic kyc procedure when trying to register onto a gambling site with them telling me they would get back to me after some day so I wonder what if I got a pressing game I needed to play immediately.
In my own opinion kyc is not of major importance in gambling section. What do you guys think
mostly the implementation of KYC gives the confidence for the people to stay safe for and if any problems for their going on you will easily trace your identity using the KYC method and they will also perform well and find the best person to give proper guidance.

I do not understand your point of view here. How can a  player KYC help to solve the players problems. Usually players face withdrawal problems, problems related to site and doing a KYC for a player / gambler will not help in anyway. Yes, we should have a KYC for the gambling site and casino so that every knows who is running the site and he can't scam or run away.
2657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: May 18, 2019, 05:46:29 PM
Seeing how the odds are pretty often against you in gambling as the gambling services are for making money out of you and not the reverse, do you still decide to gamble? If so, why?

Yes, because for me gambling is a distraction and something I do for fun and although what you say is true I don't give much importance because I understand that everyone has to make a profit from it. I could compare it with going on vacation to the beach, where prices skyrocket and where everyone wins at our expense, hotels, restaurants, the people in charge of activities etc... but with all that we continue to pay and appreciate vacations because it generates us a positive experience, good memory's and fun (just like gambling).

Many people in the start think they will play gambling for fun only and will not be involve in it too much.  In most cases, they become addicted to gambling and they never realize this.  Also people lose a lot of time and money in gambling and they never realize it. They realize it when it is too late or a lot of their money has already been lost in gambling.
2658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win Big at The Races! on: May 18, 2019, 05:32:32 PM
I think that no one can win in a scientific way in a game where you don't control anything.Betting on horse races has no clear pattern and is one of the most difficult to predict. There are people who corrupt the races for their own benefit and make a heavy underdog win the race, in this case is an example of you having no control on the outcome of the event.

Betting on horse race is one of the most popular bets world wide. Although the outcome of the result is difficult to predict yet many people bet on their favorite horses.
Same like in horse reach betting, in most cases, if a underdog horse or team wins, most likely this is done to earn a lot of money for big gamblers and rekt the rest of the gamblers who will definitely chose the more powerful horse or team.
2659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pakistan tour of England, 2019 (Cricket Series) on: May 17, 2019, 10:55:11 PM
'Pakistan tour of England', another series defeat coming for Pakistan. First New Zeland then Australia and South Africa and now England. Pakistan has made 340 runs today, I think England will comfortably get that and win series today.  With all these defeats, it is hard to believe Pakistan has any claim for winning World Cup.
But there is one good thing from this series for sure. With all match ending in runs around 350-400 for both side, we can expect that World Cup this year will be very high scoring. Can we see first 500? I think we can!

Excellent performance from England in the current series. They have shown that they can chase any total and defend any total. I think England are the real favorites in the coming world cup tournament. I didn't see such a composed England team for quite a long time.
2660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I spend the daily expense by playing gambling? on: May 17, 2019, 05:28:20 PM
Do you even have to ask this question?

The answer is obviously no, how can you risk the money you need for your daily expenses.
If you read the OP, the answer has been answered by the OP itself. Spending daily expenses by gambling is indeed impossible because gambling is not a place for you to get profits every day, but if you think gambling can help as an additional income, then I think that can still happen if indeed you are sure about luck that will always be there when you bet.

You can get profit from anything which is based on skills. If you have good knowledge and skills you can get nice profits daily, but since gambling involves no skills , so no cannot meet your daily expenses only from gambling. No one is lucky to win every day and get profits daily from gambling.
