1741  Other / Meta / Re: How about restricting low rank people from opening new topics on: July 18, 2020, 04:14:44 PM

I guess if newbies and few other low rank members will be restricted to get approval on their topic, we may somehow solve the hassles of frequent removal of topics.

Even not across all boards of this forum, restrictions of few discussion boards may help many active posters here.

The forum could not really do that. Restricting lower members to start new topic is a bad move to do for a forum. It is not actually a kind way to moderate the posts here. If it is implemented, it will be a bad image for the forum.
And there are actually new users that are asking and creating topics because they do have some business to discuss.
Restricting will not work.

I agree with you as a new member, I don't like the idea of not allowing new users to create threads. A lot of people like me come here to ask questions occasionally on things they're stuck on. It doesn't really make sense to deny that.

Why not first try to search on the topic or issue on which you need help, rather then directly creating the a new thread about it ?
If you have a habit of searching, you can find a lot of information and you do not need to create a new thread for the things which are already discussed number of times.

I just looked at the odds of this match at the present moment and it does not look any attractive. Anyone of you planning to bet on this match at the present moment ?

Just an updated news that Jofra Archer will play the third test match which will make England team more stronger for the next game. Archer was fined and got a warning for his bio-security breach.

1744  Other / Meta / Re: When their topic is moved to Off-topic on: July 17, 2020, 03:43:16 PM
It's always funny to see that once their topic is moved from Meta to the off-topic board (most of the time the topics moderated are moved there), nobody is interested anymore to participate in the discussion they take part in. All participants leave suddenly including @OP.

Great mentality...

The only reason for this is that most of the signature campaigns do not pay for posts in off-topic and therefore when a topic is moved to ""off-topic" section,  people stop responding on it. This also indicates a fact that people are active in discussions only because they are being paid for that. Once the topic is moved in a non-paid section, the discussion stops.

I also don't see a reason why the Signature campaigns do not pay in the off-topic posts. I think the off-topic posts are much more constructive and meaning full then the other boards like bitcoin discussion or altcoins discussions. My campaigns allows posting in all section of the forum and this should be followed by all the campaigns. Sometime an interesting and meaning discussion is stopped only because the topic is moved to off topic.

I'm very happy right now as I won my bet on the WI winning the first test match which I posted last week before the match started. I really thought that the match was even due to the fact that either team hasn't played in a while so I thought it was even as there was no recent form to go off. Also the players need to get used to playing again and find form which is why I also thought that either team could win and so I went with the value bet. Lets also not forget that the WI have played well against England recently. Anyway this now sets up the series to see if England can fight back and win the second test.

West Indies were not the favorites before the start of the match and hence you risked to bet on WI and it paid off in the end.
The next test match is going to start tomorrow so will you still bet on West Indies ? I think it is difficult for them to win 2 in a row ? What do you think about it ?
1746  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump confirms US conducted cyberattack against Russia in 2018 on: July 12, 2020, 11:48:13 AM
How cleverly the media is brainwashing American citizens. I am more than confident that in the future this black revolution, which is currently taking place in the U.S., will also be attributed to Russia's actions aimed at destroying the integrity of the United States. But few people think that this is the work of those who hinder Trump's work to restore America's greatness.

Its hard to believe in the media these days. Many news are fake and are based on the interest of the current government who have the authority and control over the media.

People say that media is free and can report anything but in reality it is not like that.

Last day of 1st test and no forecast of rain so far. 40 game points at stake, England need those points badly. Situation looking bit tricky for both teams as game could go anywhere from here.

For England perspective, they would be very happy if they can set target around 200-210 and Windies need to wrap up tail asap.

England : 297/8 .. 183 lead so far

Edit : 9 wicket down lead is now 189 193 runs

Edit: Target 200 runs.

Target of 200 runs is easy unless they lose early wickets.

By the way anyone betting on this match. Its time to look at the currents odds.

Last night I have very small bet then odds was @2.10 for West Indies win now just check its showing @1.66 good change.

200 run target can be easily achieved if West Indies batsmen play sensibly. It is not a huge score and therefore the odds have gone down. But, you never know till the match ends anything can happen in cricket.
Brothers Sisters and Fellows just one thing for record no team chased 200 Runs on this ground in last 3 years so please keep in mine before place your bets because in this is very troubled time and keep money in pocket will help you in future.  Cheesy Grin Tongue

With the loss of two wickets of West Indies  the bets have completely twisted.

How many twists will come in this match ? Wink

Hello nitrogen, do you know anything about what is mentioned in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5261669.0 stated that nitrogen sports have bonuses eligible fof new accounts but what I noticed on that thread is that those new account should sign up through a referral link.

I also just came across such thread and it is really strange to know that. If NitrogenSports or other gambling sites wanted to give bonus they could give to all the new signup , why we only get the bonus if we signup from the BitEdge referral link ?
1750  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exclusive Bonuses From Stake, Nitrogen, BitStarz and SwC Poker on: July 12, 2020, 08:43:51 AM
I will not believe them until there is an official wording from the gambling's sites (Stake, Nitrogen, BitStarz, SwC Poker).

All I see this as a way to get referral links and bonus when the newly signup joins the gambling sites and deposit 100$ too, they will get some referral commission too. Proof me wrong with official wordings from the sites admins.

Who would have notice that a domain with the name almost similar to 'free bitcoin' would be providing gambling/betting on their site? Normally people would just go to some other gambling sites  Wink

My point stands, anyone that type 'free bitcoin' onto their search engine would end up looking for a free bitcoin site and see this page rank #1 on their search engine. There wouldnt be any person that search 'free bitcoin' would be actually looking for a gambling site instead but once they get into the site then they would realize this site also provide gambling/betting

also this  Wink, most came from similar site that provide " free bitcoin "

#2, close enough Grin

The name "free bitcoin"is very commonly searched by everyone who needs free bitcoins and hence they land on FreeBitco.in and rightly so because freebitco does offer free bitcoins after every hour.

1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 12, 2020, 08:19:39 AM
West Indies did come back strongly by picking quick wickets towards the end of the days play by picking 5 wickets in just 35 runs and England collapsed again. They really started well and after losing Stokes the wickets continued to fall and now England are only 170 runs ahead and 2 wickets left. I am expecting WI would not have an target above 200 and should be winning it comfortable unless rain interrupts the match.

England will be hoping that the rains saves their day. There batting line up collapsed in both the innings. The shows how the lack of matches and lack of practice could hurt the players. If today WI showed a better performance and won the first test match, it will would be a very good start for them after the pandemic break.

1754  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to advertise cryptocurrency exchange platform? on: July 11, 2020, 07:32:37 PM
Hello friends! My team and I recently organized a full-fledged cryptocurrency exchange platform. Unique design, user-friendly website, Estonian Cryptocurrency license and so on. Now we are asking ourselves the main question, how to find customers and establish ourselves in the market?

Before asking this question why don't you reveal the name and url of the site. If the exchange is already up and running you should first give the link to it. Secondly you need to decide where you need to market it. You can market it through facebook, google ads or on this website in form of campaigns. Also it depends upon your marketing budget.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto for gambling? on: July 11, 2020, 07:12:18 PM

What's your favorite crypto for gambling? Why did you choose it? Do you think the decentralized gambling industry will grow now that crypto is becoming more popular due to COVID-19? Or is it still too early to tell? Huh

I have four in mind these are Doge, Ethereum, Tron and Eos these four all has the same features fast cheap and with a good value in the market and about decentralized gambling industry they are now gaining popularity because of the current situation we have now a large numbers of online gambling and all vying for a big share in the market.

I mostly use bitcoin for playing gambling but if I had to use altcoins I will prefer Ethereum or dogecoin. I rarely used Tron or EoS and also it is not supported by all the gambling sites. As bitcoin will become more expensive, people will more use altcoins for the gambling.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 11, 2020, 06:43:42 PM
It looks like England might win this one. I am not expecting a draw because West Indies batting is very unpredictable in all formats which is why I don't think they can survive for a long period of time. They are way too dependent on specific players like Chase and Holder.

England are looking to post a 200+ lead quite easily at the rate at which they are going which should be enough to screw West Indies in my opinion.

The game is turning around again here and England are six down now. All of sudden england found themselves in such a situation where there lead is only 153 and 4 wickets left.  Around 10 overs are left in a day. Look like we will get to see a very exciting 5th day finish in this test match.
Now the beauty of this match is surely we are going to have result despite we lost first day last 12 overs completely change the match and West Indies have good command as lead is just 170 runs and two wickets left if West Indian bowlers able to have these wickets in first 5 or 6 overs then surely they will be on driving seat and if English tail enders touch 200 figures then surely we will watch really interesting end of this match.

There is really a good chance of WI in this match. Now they should make the most out of it and should turn the tables in their favor. They won't get a better situation of winning this match. If they can't win from here, I am afraid they won't be able to win more matches.
1757  Economy / Services / Re: How not to pay taxes on Bitcoin on: July 11, 2020, 05:05:04 PM
I'm reading a lot of articles about how people have to files for taxes and what not in the US.

I, on the other hand, don't have to pay taxes..

So, if someone is looking to sell BTC for fiat and save some money, maybe we can work something out.

So if you do not pay taxes why you want other do the same ? There are few countries where you will be fined a lot if authorities found you cheating and saving the taxes. Sometimes it is better to pay the taxes and keep you money legal rather than not paying the taxes and fined heavily if caught.

Pretty accurate:

Bitcoin is at the crossroad of many different human knowledge fields: we are keen on focusing only on single one, maybe two, but the reality is way more complex.

Sometimes the reality is more complex than it seems. This is true with bitcoins also.
