Couple of days now !
2682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SolidCoin v2.0 Public Beta on: October 08, 2011, 02:45:10 PM
Nice one getting about 5.25 khash per two threads on my crappy U2500 at 1.2 GHz !
2683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does it make sense that I mined Tenebrix all night and got nothing? on: October 08, 2011, 02:10:10 PM
He simply made 7.7 million coins out of thin air. He did not even bother to premine them. They are preprinted already. Enjoy !
2684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people trust Locust and Tenebrix? on: October 08, 2011, 02:07:02 PM
7.7 million is too much coins IMHO.
2685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinExpress on: October 08, 2011, 02:01:51 PM
It was just too many open threads thats all.

I locked the "Inside Solidcoin 2.0" thread because you released the beta.

No point in the "Open Chalenge" and "Continuing 1.04 had devolved to the point of no return"

Not trying to kill, but consolidate.

Are you some moderator or something OR you just hacked the forum AGAIN !?
2686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Tenebrix, a CPU-friendly, GPU-hostile cryptocurrency on: October 08, 2011, 02:00:12 PM
Can somebody please make a service where we can see live difficulty etc. !?
2687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What speed are your getting CPU mining TENEBRIX? on: October 08, 2011, 01:57:42 PM
For SandyBridge CPUs (corei7 with four digit model numbers).

git the package.
./configure
(screw the flags)
gedit Makefile
find "CFLAGS = "
Change that line to: CFLAGS = -march=native -O3 -Wall -msse2 -msse3 -msse4.1 -msse4.2 -msse4 -mavx
Brought my performance from 2.6kh/s per core (running one thread per core) to 3.66-3.7kh/s per core.

Tested with 6 threads, +2 kh/s in total.
HT works now!
Just needed some hardcore flags, that's all.

So, on a 2600K with 8 threads I should get what !?
2688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CPU Mining - Who will emerge Dominant? on: October 08, 2011, 02:48:09 AM

Now if only I can get Solidcoin and Tenebrix via merged CPU-only mining this would be really quite profitable w/namecoin and BTC on GPUs,hehe.

That is what needs to happen ASAP ATM !!!

Just because you donate the proceeds of crime to a "charity" doesnt make it any less of a crime. You steal peoples coins and that creates a victim. Unless you make people whole you are nothing but a criminal in my book. Think VERY carefully about your actions.

It already is VERY CLEAR that he is a criminal. He hacked so many of the things in the cryptocurrency world etc. I think he is LOADED with stolen coins. He attacked Fairbrix ( so no competition to lolcust/artforz's baby tenebrix ) and also attacked namecoin and threaten to attack solidcoin1

BCX, crush sc2 if you want, but lay off the pools. The operators are just trying to make some money and  support cryptocurrencies. And yes, I am biased, I mine at coinotron.

But come on, seriously? I know you've taken it to be your lifelong goal to squash sc2, and I don't really care if you succeed or not. If you do, then I will gain personally satisfaction from tasting coinhunter's tears of infinite sadness (I anticipate that they are delicious). if you fail, I'll mine SC2 and pump n dump and make some quick loot.

If you can't destroy it without picking on the people who are supporting cryptos of all flavors, then you are no better than hackers ( artforz=bcx=lolcust=SAC ) stealing btcs and dumping them which brings the price down (that's assuming the reports are real) and it doesn't deserve to be destroyed because IT SURVIVED YOUR MAIN ATTACK.

There corrected that for you.

When I click on the little blue heart nothing happens, I tried in a few browsers, but it seems the heart icon isn't linked to anything anymore..

I have noticed the same thing on my end as well. Is the voting closed?

Yep. No more free bitcoins Smiley

I can't take anyone seriously that has the narcissism to use an avatar of Brad Pitt (CH on his own forums).

Come on man, you gotta admit that is a CLASSIC  Grin

I'm the last one to ever defend CH, but yeah, The Brad avatar is fitting.

It actually is LOL Grin !!!

https://github.com/ArtForz/cpuminer/tree/
^^
Art Forz's experimental Linux-64 loving super-minerd

Get it (use git or just plain grab the zip)

Ensure you've got  autoconf 2.5x+  and automake 1.7+

gcc-4.6.1 <- also good, good ensure you're compiling with 4.6.1

Get Midnight commander and use it to get rid of naughty ^M things in    configure.ac , autogen.sh ,    mknsis.sh (for some reason, this stuff always ends up there even when I download my own one, which I know I've cleaned up)

Run autogen.sh

Look at readme.

Look at ArtForz's suggestions here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=46363.40

Do a
CFLAGS="-march=*your arch flag* -O3" ./configure

make and be happy.

You can find some info on cow-pewter magic that goes before ./configure here : http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gcc-optimization.xml Cheesy

^^ Bulanula, you will need to grok which flags are best for ya.

Thank you man ! Will try it out ASAP

2700  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First post gets 3 bitcents! on: October 07, 2011, 10:19:33 PM
I hope you are realizing that you just connected one of your BTC addresses in public to your forum nickname.
So much for pseudonimity ...

But it does not seem to bug many people on the forum pages, most give away a BTC address in their signature.
I value my privacy higher than the prospect of receiving a few BTC for free or just for the fun of it.

Why are you doing it?

Well I don't care about anonymity because I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE !!!

Just a FIY all the bitcoin that is on that address is all I have ATM. I'm being totally transparent because I HAVE NO REASON TO HIDE ANYTHING unlike some dodgy people here. I don't use SilkRoad so I guess you can also call it "clean"  Grin

And BTW all the small funds there do go to help orphaned children. It's not just BS to get you to donate.
