2683  Economy / Economics / Re: Mitigating Risk, the One Thing You Need to Know! on: January 18, 2014, 11:27:07 AM
I cringe every time a new trader asks me in our live Q&A channel whether or not that should exit some horrible position at ~10%, ~15%, or even ~20% losses.  Stop-loss is everything for a trader and if you don't have some grasp on how to mitigate risk your just gambling.

The moment you can mitigate risk effectively is the moment you become a consistently profitable trader!

http://www.wallstreetcrypto.com/2014/01/mitigating-risk-one-thing-you-need-to.html

Read that link and rather interesting.

I cringe everytime I hear a newbie/or try-hard expert trader using stoploss' (or charts for that matter). The moment you use charts as your primary entry/exit points tis the moment you are just gambling and will never be a longterm profitable trader.

Been in the trading game awhile, yet to meet a wealthy chartist, and yet myself to use a % stop loss strategy.
2684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN FAIL on: January 17, 2014, 11:08:31 PM
While I 100% agree that there is way too many crapcoins, way way way too many now.

I don't agree its all about advancement, adoptions whats needed not so much just advancement, I don't care if its a direct clone of btc or ltc as long as its got strong support.

If the community narrowed what they were supporting even just down to 50 good coins that would be best for everyone. Most the coins now are just pumped out for a quick profit or a joke.
2685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NET] [Giveaway] Netcoin Foundation website received overhaul! on: January 16, 2014, 11:17:18 PM
The fact that you are here working against NET, your own "investment", the community, and the website just shows how much of an utter moron you are.

Ok lets avoid the name calling for a start. I'm working with net for positive, and I think you fail to release not everyone in cryptos is here to make a fiat profit.

I'd rather the pump and dump and fud types stay well away from any crypto community projects I'm working on.
2686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NET] [Giveaway] Netcoin Foundation website received overhaul! on: January 16, 2014, 11:13:12 PM
I'm almost certain I have a larger NET share than you.

2687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NET] [Giveaway] Netcoin Foundation website received overhaul! on: January 16, 2014, 11:02:22 PM
I've been in net for quiet awhile, working on a few projects with it and after the shit fud you spun about emunie (a geniune new crypto), well we'd rather you not involved at all !!!!!!!

2688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NET] [Giveaway] Netcoin Foundation website received overhaul! on: January 16, 2014, 10:52:17 PM

2689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto market on: January 16, 2014, 10:11:05 PM
Only people like you doing the trading can make a difference. Pick properly and don't worry about the idiots

but tis the idiots that make us the biggest profits (oh wait trade secret  Lips sealed)
2690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto market on: January 16, 2014, 10:10:09 PM
Tis the time for Battlecoin  Wink
2691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptsy losing to coinedUP? on: January 16, 2014, 10:05:15 PM
It is better to add too many coins than to little. In the worst case the coin will die and will be removed.

Thats sort of thinking is whats currently killing the alt community Sad
2692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / 'giveaways' that arent giveaways on: January 16, 2014, 02:30:02 PM
If you require something for your coins whether that be a task or similar, well then it isn't exactly a giveaway, so it should not be titled as such.
2693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Auction for Cryptsy referral. Over 700 trades... Referring 4 people on my own on: January 16, 2014, 01:09:06 PM
if it was at all worth anything (and print thy own cryptsy points should not be worth anything) then just add yourself as your own referral, yes the system is that dumb  Roll Eyes

2694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy ! !! !!! on: January 16, 2014, 12:41:24 PM
removed to fix no?

then again chat was removed to 'fix' some time ago Sad
2695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With over 345 different cryptocurrencies to date, which one do you like? on: January 16, 2014, 11:23:07 AM
you know there are way too many coins; when you really have to do the hard sell to me just for me to take your free giveaways  Undecided
2696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BCX.... ()==[:::::::::::::> << BATTLECOIN >> ︻╦╤─ - - Official thread on: January 16, 2014, 07:03:21 AM
So if they pull it off do you think this coin will have a good future?

Well I rarely put out a buy offer on a newly released coins, even though I buy coins across the board on exchanges (in fact the last coin I was puting out buy requests on was ltc)......so yeah I think if the OP pulls this off yeah it could be big Smiley

2699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [EAC] Thoughts on Earthcoin? Cryptsy made things worse? on: January 14, 2014, 11:12:31 PM
If adding your coin to cryptsy is the only way to give it perceived value....well you're in trouble right there.

2700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [EAC] Thoughts on Earthcoin? Cryptsy made things worse? on: January 14, 2014, 10:01:00 PM
101 similar coins out there, people voting to list just to dump (no one votes to list to buy now do they).

And people starting to wise up to how big a number a billion actually is particularly in the rather small niche community Wink
