If we go with 200% PoS, and keep PoW as it is, I predict that we will see a flash in the pan around the launch of the new client-version and the hardfork, and then Bottlecaps will continue the downpath.
Well if there is any sense left around here, 200% pos will certainly kill caps soon enough, agreed a short burst with the pump of it changing then a slide til nothing. It looks just like a last ditch attempt for bagholders to offload there coin. Not entirely against pos but 200%  |

200% POS well after the fact  as bad as ninja mining  It will be well over 60 days notice, hardly stealth. I personally didn't own a single CAP until after I started posting in this thread. Those who do not want to participate can sell at a nice gain. And those that do, are still able to buy fairly cheap.. Also look at the inteview with Sunny King. Even he is realizing 1% is just not enough. Doubt he will go 200%, but this is not PPC!  Seriously changing any reward whether it be pow, pos, on the fly defeats the whole point of a trustless system., either its done innocently (out of stupidity) or its a scam....the way its promoted in the header......well I posed this to the community, and I left it to them. It responded with almost resounding yes. I think the market has also made it clear this direction it wants to go. Obviously but do you think they made the decision based on whats good for the coin/cryptos or simple greed? hey everyone do you want 200% interest or not  .......... |

If you don't update ur client after a fork, well it'd be hard to then be on the right fork. also later try "checkwallet" in help>debug>console (if its available in those particular clients), then "repairwallet" (if it doesn't comeback as passed : true).

Anyone who has the old wallet, please delete it including the files in the %APPDATA%/KryptKoin folder (except your wallet.dat file).
I take it you mean "old client" not "old wallet"! |

WHERE IS THE NEW WALLET
+1 Is there a way to know if I'm in the good fork or not? Yesterday I was unable to sync. Restarted doubloon-Qt and synced, but my doubloons where missed. Restarted again after erasing blockchain in my drive and now it is synced with my coins back on it. This block crawler ( http://altexplorer.info/chains/DBL/block_crawler.php) contains my transactions, but block explorer ( http://explorer.doubloons.net/) does not. Really annoying. something very odd going on - my wallet had 1,600 dbl in it yesterday and today they're all gone. hmmm Pirate |

I think its a rather smart distribution method, will spread the coins far though only a small percentage would claim the coins. Also hard to cheat after the fact.
Though as I often argue does starting distribution even matter, once you can purchase it for btc (and thus fiat) it'll all go to a few hands anyway.

There is no struggle, Ripple Labs is doing astoundingly well: This is a pure piece of corporate propaganda, baby. The only actual number is 54 employees (may or may not be true)... Which means they are burning through cash rapidly... And constantly going hat in hand to venture investors. Show me some actual REVENUE numbers for the Ripple network... I don't care about unexplained "transaction volume" or XRP trading volume from Ripple Charts. Post a link... and show me some hard numbers. Not to mention the pool of volunteer program helpers they had with the bounty carrot in front that they rarely paid. |
