2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Darkcoins making Litecoins redundant ? on: May 24, 2014, 02:09:49 AM
I think LTC was the smartest Pump and Dump created in this forum. Auroracoin wasn't very smart and had weakness that kept getting attacked. The only thing I am buying for LTC is Silver tarnish remover because I am going to need it pretty soon down the road.

LOL @ the same LTC shills posting silver crap. I wonder how many $50 bagholders are there hoping KnC will make it impossible for common man to mine and that would make it more valuable. Good luck, you are going to need it. We all know the power of Bitcoin. Simply forcing yourself in the same sentence doesn't make you anything comparable. I have always understood and accepted the BTC snark but I never get the LTC bagholding retarded arrogance. But that is what happens when you are brainwashed in thinking "silver".

Anonymous coins will end the silver nonsense. Another PoW is not a good enough differentiation to deserve any kind of silver labels, especially since it is all a perception and speculation.

ltc has survived several waves of alts, still the only one standing head and shoulders above the rest., that give investors faith enough.
2202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Darkcoins making Litecoins redundant ? on: May 24, 2014, 02:05:20 AM
For public adoption, average joe aint going to be able to mine any top coin, or care who the hell is mining. Hell I'm into cryptos awhile and I don't care the how when what where of mining btc/ltc......I trade....Done.

And anon lol. Coins are as anon as the users is capable of making them be.
2203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Darkcoins making Litecoins redundant ? on: May 24, 2014, 02:01:07 AM
btw wtf is drkcoin  Huh
2204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Darkcoins making Litecoins redundant ? on: May 24, 2014, 01:56:03 AM
Hey, does anyone think the emergence of Darkcoin could make Litecoin redundant ?
Darkcoin seems to match Litecoin with the added benefit of anonymous transactions.
  Thanks in advance.

Imho, most altcoins make Litecoin redundant; it is hardly different from BTC, and it is alive simply because it was the first.
It's sad really that so much money is taken by it, which could go to better coins. In time, this will probably happen, though.

Been around these parts awhile, even troll ltc alot, but I'm yet to see anything better then ltc in the alts. Lots of claimed innovation, but mostly innovation for innovations sake.
Tbh many factors in LTC make it better for joe public adoption over BTC, eg known dev.

Most alts are adding this and adding that in an effort to seem superior when really when it comes to public adoption; less is more. Hell average joe's can barely get their heads around BTC let alone anything with added complexity or even info.
2205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin tips itself to oblivion? on: May 24, 2014, 12:52:09 AM

But how would it die?

No altcoin that's on major exchanges will EVER die, even if the devs abandon it, other people will take over and fork it.  The most obscure shitcoins from a year ago are still going strong.

Do you actually believe this? There are many coins with a passionate dev group and a longer history than Dogecoin that will never ever be anything more than bits on a hard drive, nothing more than an archive of broken dreams and lost promise.

Dogecoin can drop so low in volume and market cap that it will never draw the interest of anyone anywhere. If it does, you will not revive that dead shibe.

You can't kill the passion and energy of tens of thousands of shibes; Dogecoin will not die.

Doge problem is its holders are sheep, and one rule of the market; the sheep always get slaughtered.
2206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current state of crypto monopoly and what it means for LITECOIN ? on: May 22, 2014, 01:57:22 PM
For bitcoin and litecoin their value has for awhile now been no longer about the miners.
2207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple cheap after whale dump, buy now! on: May 22, 2014, 09:22:16 AM
Most are looking to see if this bitcoin rally will grow, so I'd be a bit early to back XRP or any alts for that matter.

2209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BTCtalkcoin [TALK] - Pure POS - Multipool Ready! - AirDrop Coming Soon on: May 21, 2014, 12:52:19 PM
Yes that is right, it will come in stages, everyone already on the list now will receive coins during each week of airdropping. And people that missed out the first time can still get in on the fun by signing up with their address at http://bitcointalkcoin.org

I do scan each address and check to see if they are generated from the same account as another one. That is actually the problem I am running into right now, this means it is hard for someone to scam extra coins.

Yes as far as I know there will be 28 million given away from the airdrop, 1 million given away inside of the IRC channel and on Twitter/Reddit and we are paying a developer to update and maintain the code as well as add in some new services that we KNOW you guys will think are awesome. The developer will not be dumping his coins when he gets them, he likes this coin a lot.

I thought everyone on the initial list had to also give their address to http://bitcointalkcoin.org (basically as a way of checking IP), so I am on the list as well as gave my address to the link. Not to claim multiple shares  Huh

2213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Balanced mid-to-long term portfolio on: May 18, 2014, 11:23:52 AM
doge the ganglam style of the crytpo world, people will be over it soon enough.

nxt innovation for innovation sake (yet nothing actually new or innovative at all), features no one wants or needs, and started in the worst possible way distribution wise.

I'm not against alts just none u mention makes the grade for any longterm investment.

litecoin is a no brainer, survived many waves of alts over recent years but still strongly on top, pegged now to btc and pretty much indifferent to its challengers.

Well, thank you for your comments, I could argue with you, but not in the mood and this has been debated too many times now to the point of being boring Smiley

well something I agree with you on Wink

facebook distribution probably would be the least way to make a fair distribution, you can purchase 100s of verified fb accounts, add to that fb is blocked in a few countries.

2218  Economy / Economics / Re: Distribution of bitcoin wealth by owner on: May 18, 2014, 03:11:20 AM
Early adopters aside the only ones to ever now be wealthy in bitcoin are those already wealthy in fiat. So from now on any re-distribution can only ever be as 'fair' as fiat  Shocked.
2219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: THE INVESTOR'S CRYPTO | Cryptogenic Bullion | CGB on: May 18, 2014, 01:29:36 AM
I'm Aussie been in CGB from early on.
tbh though I don't know of many Aussie's using twitter, and don't know any using reddit (which I'd never even heard of until on this forum semi recently).
