2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ORGINAL THE WALL OF SHAME - Better version ! ( joke ) Bilions of dollars lost. on: July 25, 2014, 12:26:38 AM
Biggest problem in cryptos today is people defining a cryptos success as price vs USD  Embarrassed

Possibly cause most are in it for fiat rather then cryptos  Cry
2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NFO] Ethereum = Scam on: July 24, 2014, 12:31:41 AM
Just another day another sh$tcoin.

Start with hype, post a vid or 10 add whitepaper, talk decentralised dribble then list IPO  = $$$$$$$  Cool
2003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MMXIV | WEEK 6 | Just added x13 to the MULTIPOOL | TWO Antminer S3 Raffle on: July 23, 2014, 07:33:05 AM
Damn. Haven't checked you guys in a while. Didn't realize you were up to .05 BTC each now

Multipool is buying daily now that ThePeePs is back from the HOPEX conference. We would be way higher if people weren't being foolish with their coins and fighting for pennies to have the lowest sell order...

funny but helps buyers Wink

btw any nodes to help sync the client?
2004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex #1 of main altcoin exchanges by volume (as of 22nd of July 2014) on: July 21, 2014, 11:58:40 PM
A scamcoin makers paradise.
2005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CFC2]Coffeecoin | New Bounties! on: July 18, 2014, 10:43:55 AM
Having been in communication with the current coffeecoin dev, I'm pretty confident in coffeecoins future. I've to date mainly been moral support but I intend to step it up and help out more, soon enough Smiley

As for bittrex, well they've delisted better coins then coffeecoin (well coffeecoin in its current shape, future will be brighter Wink, see peercoin is even on their current remove list  Shocked.
Personally I'm indifferent to them delisting it, seems they're a big on adding any shitcoin, then delisting on a whim to make room for the next lot of shitcoins, they are a scamcoins makers dream.

Bit of work improving and marketing coffeecoin, making its solid, and there's a few people behind the scenes with plans including myself, I see no reason for it not being listed on one of the top exchanges in the near future.

Certainly coffeecoin longish term will neither be made nor broken by a bitterix listing or delisting, so happy longterm holder here.
2006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin-altcoin dependency on: July 14, 2014, 01:04:09 AM
Think its pretty obvious that outside of btc/alt almost all where created for the quest for more fiat, and are sucked up by the perceived miss the boat crowd.

ltc is pretty much the only survivor from earlier waves of alts (and itself not being the oldest), if it was to actually fade people would lose faith in all alts, thats what the fud spreaders don't get.

Whats lost on most the crowd at btt its not about the fiat, its about alternatives to fiat  Wink, and there is such a brain dead sheep oh where's the innovation type  Roll Eyes, when the innovation pumpers aren't pumping anything even remotely innovative, just innovation as an excuse to pump their garbage.

You are going too far and not representing LTC in a good way. Hostility towards other coins is not necessary, neither is bashing innovation. LTC is a strong community and try to portray that instead of bashing other coins and what they bring to table.

It is about Network effect. If you want to bash other coins, go to Litecointalk. Don't troll here and piss off people who want to adopt LTC. It is like you didn't see 2 posts above.  Roll Eyes

Calling it how I see it, I'm not here to represent or do favors for any alts, personally I've always stated the only thing good to ever come out of the crypto scene (including btc/ltc) is the idea.

Cryptos seems to be almost like an experiment to prove everyone acts exactly like the bankers of the world when put in the same position.

Yah and you sounded exactly like a dumb banker driving the "cool" Mercedes working at Wells Fargo, who couldn't wait to laugh at the banker at Chase working down the road, driving the Lexus hybrid to work because energy efficiency is a "FAD".

Lord please save me. Did I make the right decision today?

Litecoiners please give me a hug and convince me I made a good decision today and this particular person is an outlier.

So a question, was your litecoin decision based around what prospects you have of making more fiat out of it?

2009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex killing the altcoin market? on: July 12, 2014, 02:59:44 PM
Yes Bittrex's policy of quick add almost without question and delist within days of lack of trading fully supports scam dev's especially if they want to repeat.

Too many coins listed on the many exchanges now is killing the overall market, too hard to look into every coin (makes that also easy for scamers, bounties also mean scamers now need to do very little work before dumping) and now investors money spread too thinly across many coins. Also proper devs spread to thinly in the community and too many coins abandoned.

Keeping track of my existing wallets (updates, forks etc) is hard enough let alone looking into new coins.

Many will start just to stick with btc/ltc and sell the rest the way its going.
2010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Im interested in investing into alt cryptos and want some input.. on: July 11, 2014, 10:39:39 PM
2 years ago, there wasn't much of a choice, now there are tons.. .

tis why there is little chance of repeating your ltc nmc success from an investing point of view. markets flooded because of the miss the boat crowd.
2011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Good Bye! R.I.P on: July 06, 2014, 12:17:14 AM
yes ltc is the key to the rest of the alts staying afloat. ltc survived previous waves of alts which are dead or so close it isnt funny. it continued survival shows cryptos outside of btc can survive.

if it was to die (which isnt going to happen) who'd invest in any alt?

that's what the fools plugging their own shitcoin don't seem to get, they think they have to fud others to push their own crap (for which they'll dump anyways if they make enough fiat).

none of the latest flavors of the month will survive outside of this forum....ltc would  Wink

2012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats up with LTC? on: July 05, 2014, 09:53:19 AM
Litecoin was somewhat interesting as long as it stayed GPU only. Now it is just a version of Bitcoin without the first mover advantage.

Ltc will surpass btc with mass adoption soon enough, not many serious investors will risk an anon dev especially with such a large stake, thats the huge advantage ltc has over btc.

Surpass BTC? LTC is more or less useless. If any were to surprass BTC it will be one of these new coins like NXT, XCP etc.

joe public or wall street aint going to even look at the crap people are dribbling on about here, its all btc/ltc and the bs u guys a peddling to make fiat just isn't going to wash.

2014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: INNOVATION =/= SUCCESS (not always) on: July 03, 2014, 10:51:50 PM
I hate that Litecoin won't adapt and innovate when market sentiment is shifting.

but adapted to what? whatever "innovation" (and I use the word lightly) gets its ten seconds of fame in the latest pump n dump crapcoin?

my counter point to the op would be, there isn't any innovation here in the alt section where people are yelling only go coins with innovation  Roll Eyes
2015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CFC2]Coffeecoin | MANDATORY UPDATE to Version 2.0.1 on: July 02, 2014, 01:40:55 AM
yes got a stake on the first 100 coins I mined in the new cfc2....looking good.
2016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [RAFFLE] MMXIV is raffling off TWO Antminer S3s - One MMXIV per entry - 100 Max on: July 02, 2014, 12:06:26 AM
expensive tickets when u do get MMXIV to above 1 btc  Grin so i'll pass and keep me MMXIV  Wink

If it does get that high, 1 BTC entry is still cheaper than buying 2 S3's

yes it was said with a smile ie infering MMXIV with good promotion (such as these raffles) could pass 1 btc each.
2017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC and NXT market caps meeting point on: July 02, 2014, 12:02:11 AM
to start with the marketcap listed of nxt is a bit fudgy but anyways even with that its pretty much at its peak, freefall is inevitable.
2018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the anonymity coins a 'fad' (pump of the month) like the country and animal on: July 01, 2014, 11:30:01 PM
funny the more scammy it is the more it gets mentioned which helps with the pumps.

2020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Litecoin finally decoupled itself from Bitcoin? on: July 01, 2014, 11:07:46 AM
actually decoupled way worse when bitcoin steamed past 1000 the first time, we all know later what happen when ltc rebound  Grin and funnily enough at the time this forum was full of litecoin is dead posts lol
