281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $5000 to $1 million in 3 years and little over 2000 bets! on: September 06, 2021, 07:01:50 PM
Is this a realistic scenario? I'm sure this should have a huge win rate before it happens, and even the pros lose to you know. This is simply not possible; $1 million is a lot of money for a $5000 initial investment.

Of course, there are times when you may have a losing streak and give up on betting, but having a winning streak requires a lot of effort, studying all of the possible outcomes, and a lot of experience, which not all of us can do.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Uk most deprived areas have the Highest number of gambling outlets. on: September 06, 2021, 06:38:56 PM
According to the source :
https://www.theguardian.com/society/2021/aug/23/uks-most-deprived-areas-have-highest-number-of-gambling-outlets-report

The most deprived areas of UK are actually having more number of gambling outlets, which is a matter of concern for sure.

Apparently according to the source people are targeting the most deprived and economically weak areas which is sad. The companies are trying to scam people away and this is not working well for the people around since they might get addicted for sure.

How should they go about controlling these things? Should the government try and make laws to ban such behavior and such state? I think people should have a minimum wage for sure when it comes to gambling, what do you think ?
A typical scenario of a wealthy individual taking advantage of the poor, in which the government is also abusing the taxes paid by the people. So, I don't believe there are laws that prohibit these types of situations because, as I previously stated, politicians are also motivated by a desire for status and to be at the top. Furthermore, large businesses are the ones who pay the most taxes, so I don't see why the government should impose a ban.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: September 06, 2021, 06:22:32 PM
Who else thinks that these kind of thing may hit mainstream sooner or later? I don't know if this is something new but seen a  news from Decentral Games that they are launching a play-to-earn Metaverse poker. Others predict next to NFTs boom that it could the the Metaverse hype. Any thoughts?

Quote
Over time, we believe several projects will attempt to deliver play-to-earn architectures. However, due to the state of Decentral Games’ current product and community, DG is in a lucrative position to take advantage of this new wave in gaming with a first-mover advantage. We’ve already built metaverse poker, blackjack, roulette, backgammon, and slots, which are games enjoyed daily by our community through memorable events like live music performances, casino night competitions, poker tournaments, and more.

Isn't poker already a p2e game? I mean, if you win, you'll get earned. I don't think it's particularly unique in comparison to the popular P2Es of today, because most of them have difficult mechanics and have undergone significant development. But I believe this will be popular; gamblers will try it out because NFT games are very popular right now, and the majority of them are successful and this is a meta breaker, could find some interesting mechanics or gameplay here.
284  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: September 06, 2021, 06:03:20 PM
Hopefully, September will be a month of massive gains for bitcoin as the price now stays at $51k so there is a chance for bitcoin to increase. The next target is to break $52k, which is almost getting closer to that price but unfortunately, the price makes a little correction and going down for a while. If the price can break the barrier of $52k, it could still increase and reach $55k-$60 will be possible before the end of this year.

In my prediction, at the end of September there is a possibility that BTC will touch between 55K-57K, because in the last few days there has been a lot of positive news that could be a fundamental for Bitcoin, so when BTC hits 55K-57K in September, we can see a positive signal for the second bullrun for new ATH end of year. Unless there is another FUD later, maybe the positive sentiment that appears at this time will not have any effect.
I believe a second bull run will occur this year; crypto is currently trending, and I believe most investors will raise their investments in order to increase their buying power. FUD is still present, but BTC is recovering. It's clear that whales are attempting to play the crypto market; otherwise, how can BTC reach $50k if they aren't buying in the dips? The lowest odds are in $50k, a lot of positive news about BTC, I bet that it will happen at the end of September and will reach at least $55k, it's gonna be an easy profit.

$47,501-$50,000 - 4.86
$52,501 - $55,000 - 5.78

I would like to ask if there's an available virtual sports on your website like virtual football, greyhound or drag racing? I was looking for that game and most of the site doesn't allow me to play on it because of my location. If not do you have something like an alternative to this games like a fast paced sports games?
I don't believe they have any virtual sports or fast-paced sports games; they only have scheduled tournaments. I just checked the website, and the sports and esports listed there are the most popular games that most gamblers seek. I went to sportsbet.io and found some virtual sports there; check to see if it's available in your location. Here's a link to it: https://sportsbet.io/sports/virtual-sports

VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin

Check this out: the odds on @Sentinels are pretty low, and everyone expects them to win the tournament again. But keep in mind that new teams, such as G2 and F4Q of Korea, are currently in the VCT, so the outcome could change. G2 esports is pretty good if you follow the VCT EMEA, you'll know that they're good, take a risk on this because we're not sure if Sentinels will swipe the entire team right now.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 06, 2021, 05:01:48 PM
I believe that reminding them that gambling is one of the activities that can provide entertainment but can also have serious consequences if they make a single mistake. Playing alone is not recommended because the damage to your mental health can be significant, and you can become addicted to it; it is recommended that you have some people remind you to limit your gambling.

One of the most efficient and effective things I believe should be done is to provide knowledge, such as explaining how it works and the limitations of playing it.
288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Bitcoin Wallet for Android Phone on: September 06, 2021, 02:56:47 PM
I have an android phone. I am looking to install a bitcoin wallet. What are my options and which bitcoin wallet is the best one.

I only need non-custodial wallets which are decentralized.
Sometimes a country like ours has a custodial wallet where we can use to convert our crypto into fiat and send it to our bank accounts and the platform is coins.ph. So if you live here, it's the walllet I recommend since it's trusted but the value of crypto in there isn't real-time. In other countries, they use blockchain or coinbase, good crypto wallets and already trusted by many users.

Why should not i download from google play store ? Is there any problem with it ? What's different between .APK file and the one available in google playstore ?
There are copycats on the Google Playstore that have not been removed or monitored by Google itself. That's why if you're going to download an APK, make sure that you're getting it from the official website. They have their own link on their website and that's to help you avoid downloading the fake ones. Many have been victimized by those fake wallet apps because they clearly look similar to the official one and that's why if you're going to download through the play store, be careful and do it with diligence.

I open the electurm website and then click on the Play store link and it directly took me to the right wallet. Also i saw high number of downloads. So by doing so, i landed at the right wallet ?
Just to be safe, go to the official website of Electrum which is https://electrum.org/#download, and download the android version there.
In Google Play, just to avoid the potential scam apps, some of them also have a high number of downloads. See in the official website if the link is the same as what it's indicated, there's the link for google play there.

Even the number of downloads can be fake and mislead to the wrong app. Use an APK installer and get the file direct from official website using the browser and not the app store.
Best way ever is to use the right url for the official Electrum and verify the PGP signature. It requires a little bit knowledge on how to do this but this is the safest way to check that you are about to install the official release.
As long as the app isn't verified like for example, Google Play Store verified those applications that is legit and have Verified protect on the page where you'll install the app. If there's no verified protect then be hesitant to download that app and check the official website first to make sure of the real apk.

This is exaggerated

Really funny meme and it's true! Hahaha

Sometimes I'm like this because I really appreciate their answer, a really great help and we already knew that it's their unique idea unlike meriting a newbie, we're not sure if the thought is just copied from the other users so we are hesitant to give. LOL Roll Eyes

290  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarsism QA topics. I don't think new topics about plagiarism are necessary on: September 06, 2021, 02:09:29 PM
When I checked the Meta board, a lot of plagiarism topics are on page one.

Plagiarism should be a common thing to avoid; it's taught in early school that plagiarism should be avoided unless you're using some words for reference only. Consider that we are having a discussion here and that we should provide unique perspectives on what is going on here and there, so it is obvious that plagiarism is a mistake. As a result, topics about plagiarism are unnecessary, and newcomers should be aware of this by the time they enter a forum platform where opinions and statements matters.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest my 10,000 USD on: September 06, 2021, 01:04:24 PM
I recently got 10,000 USD after my FD (Fixed deposit) matured and now i want to invest all those in the crypto world as the returns are best here.
Please suggest me different places where i can invest these 10,000 USD in the crypto currency world as i never done big investement in crypto before so please give me some ideas.
I believe you should try to find and research the coins that are at the top of the leaderboards. Actually, there are many potential coins out there, but you should focus on those that will see significant growth this year so you can profit now and double your money this year.

You can see leading crypto here:
https://coinmarketcap.com/
https://www.coingecko.com/en

All the info you need to know is already in there, just click the links to direct them in the website.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: Only young and naive guy believe in high risk high return on: September 06, 2021, 11:16:28 AM
I'm not sure why you'd compare investment in a war with soldiers. It's very different, and I have no issues with high-risk, high-reward investments. It's perfectly normal to invest a large sum of money at high risk because you believe in the project and have done extensive research on it, and you believe that if you invest in it, you will make a large profit.

Furthermore, even though bitcoin is a reputable and leading cryptocurrency, we should expect a massive downfall at any time, so we can't be financially broke just because we've invested a lot in it.

295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? on: September 05, 2021, 11:34:31 PM
It's obvious that the answer here is ETH, I dont want to compare both of them because even we compare them and know who's the best, we still continue to use both of them. Let's disregard the fees, advantages and disadvantages of ETH and BNB 'cause for me, I'm using both of them depends on the projects I want to join.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why complain about the dump when the market warned you???? on: September 05, 2021, 07:30:42 PM
It is always good to learn about price action before investing in cryptocurrency. Learning will guide your judgement in the market and prevent you from making decisions with instincts alone.

I see a lot of people complain about the recent dip in the market and I am surprised. Because if you know about price action, you would see that the signs were obviously there before it all went crashing down. On the daily time frame, Bitcoin broke structure and retested several times before heading down. The market warned you, but you didn't see it.
Simply, some investors are simply greedy, whining if an anticipated drop occurs while they continue to hold. I don't see why folks who don't want to profit complain when the coin takes a long time to pump.

A dip in the market is a good sign that it is very active; it suggests that some investors are simply taking profits and will take advantage of the peak.
After that, they will reinvest if the project is well-received and has future promise.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth investing in coins you believe in? on: September 05, 2021, 07:13:56 PM
If you want to make money from a short-term or long-term investment, believing isn't enough, in my opinion. You must conduct extensive study about the type of coin in which you will invest because it is your money and you are banking on the project's success. Of course, before investing, you should determine whether or not this project is close to or has a good probability of succeeding, in which case you will profit.

But take note, not all coins are profitable even you've done research on it.  Roll Eyes
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: September 05, 2021, 07:08:23 PM
Bitcoin is the king of all coins. BNB is currently undergoing a lot of development. BNB is currently launching a lot of projects. Even success is happening. Erc20 swap fee to be higher. Many traders swap on BNB. BNB is currently in demand like Eth.
BNB is in demand as a temporary alternative for ETH, however after ETH 2.0 is released, I'm sure BNB will be forgotten unless projects in the BNB smart chain are still being developed. ERC20 fees are quite high, and I can't afford them because it's a large sum of money, so I'm using BNB and investing in BEP20 tokens and NFT games, but if the time comes, I may return to ETH, which is more powerful and has greater potential than BNB.
299  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-01] Twitter Beta Testing Bitcoin Tipping Feature on: September 05, 2021, 06:58:56 PM
Although this is not good news for certain nations, the project's development is still limited for others, and they may not be able to access all of the features because of Strike.

As for Twitter, I suppose this is the only option they have if they want to protect their reputation from the ramifications of bitcoin tipping and I'm not sure if Bitcoin will really benefit from this or the company only.
