That is pretty easy to do etc. First he pushes the price up ( pumps ) then when he gets it to what he wants etc. he dumps a boatload of coins like happened with 20k last week etc.

Eg for all i care satoshi = mark karpeles = the manipulator = pro pumper and dumper = artforz = deepbit owner etc. anything is possible and some of these might be very true  Too much coincidences. Who dumped 20k last time ? Why so Japan focussed ? Why mtgox first exchange from japan ? Why artforz first to mine with gpu power and control 25% of hashing power at first ( look it up on wiki ) ? Why satoshi own 25% of bitcoin when nobody knew about it then dump ? All seems to one person's interest. All these aliases made a ton of cash with this clever scheme. We pay the price.

Until you have proof that satoshi definately does NOT equal mark karpeles then the opposite can be also rightly be assumed true etc.

It really is all a conspiracy against us. Government manipulates BTC price and makes it crash to levels like 1 dollar etc. -> mining becomes unprofitable -> miners quit -> government takes over network without 13 million needed worth of ATI cards etc. Simples !

What people don't understand is that bitcoin is not the "god" currency. There will be better offers soon. It is wrong to assume the first one is the best one and will survive. You have too much of an emotional attachment to this project.

Satoshi ( mark karpeles ) is also a pump + dumper ( 20k dumped last week etc. ) so what is different ? The difference is nobody wants to admit it as they have all been sucked into this clever scheme.

Eg controller price = harder to attack network ( eg gov manipulate btc price and bring price down - miners quit - easy to attack network even without massive power needed ).

This is too good to be true people, wake up. This is like 1000x better than what we already have now. It is impossible.

They virtually produce little noise and heat compared to a GPU running 24/7 at 99% load etc.

The OP is just coming here and saying all these incredible sounding figures. It is like somebody telling the auto industry they can make an electric car with 1000 km range and very cheap cost 10000 dollars. Simply impossible with current tech. That is why we are so skeptic. If this is true then by no means send Gavin or somebody a little bit of evidence then we can talk about scaling your production process to cope with all of us buying this and selling our ATI cards etc.

Well the problem is this : these figures are way too optimistic and so much better than current production models and the like that people are doubting them. If this was indeed real then I would totally consider dumping my GPUs because of the less noise, less consumption of energy, no need for host computer and all the clutter that comes with it etc. The only downside would be the cost ( which imho is totally reasonable even at 3000 bucks for the big 3000 mhash/s model as it is just at the magical 1$/mhash point ) and problem that this cannot easily be used for other things like GPUs can etc.

BUT at the current climate anybody who buys further mining hardware is a complete and utter idiot AND these values seem to good to be true and possible in real life etc. AND you give no proof or any evidence these figures are possible. Hence, people saying it is a scam.
