Djokovic will still be very likely to win GS and AO is his favorite GS, his stats here are very good, and because he has always wanted to make history, the vaccine rules won't stop him from going to AO.

True, that's one thing for sure that Djokovic has targeted next year, to win another GS and have his name in the history. We know how mentally tough Djokovic and he won't simply be deny of another GS while he still can play high level tennis.

The Davis Cup will take place tomorrow after being postponed the previous year, Spain as defending champions will be without Nadal who has announced the end this year in August due to injury.

Yeah, but Spain will have the young and upcoming Alcaraz to carry them. Spain will start against Ecuador so I think they can win this one. They also have Carreno-Busta  and Albert Vinolas so still a solid team for them.
2882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: November 25, 2021, 08:16:47 AM
This will be a difficult and an even match between the two.

Both are champions, Ancajas the more experienced as he has defended his belt many times. But then again, we known the history between Japanese fighters and Filipinos, they have a history so. this will be close match for me. And Ancajas didn't look good at his last fight against Rodriguez so hopefully he will bounce back with a solid performance here.
2883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your market prediction for the year end - 2021 on: November 24, 2021, 09:40:55 PM
I really don't know if the market is bullish or bearish as the value of Bitcoin has been volatile, moving between $55,000 to $60,000 and ethereum $4,000 to $4,400. It feels like the market is sceptical on the stride to go and it's getting to the end of the year. What's your anticipation for the market?

The market is currently undecided as of this time, so it has been trading sideways for at least 2 weeks now unless we have a break out run. Bitcoin has been with it's support levels and so is Ethereum, but we will never know if this support will break down as well.

However, historically, the month of December is very bullish, so I'm still expecting a good ending this 2021 and we might see the price going upward at least in the $70k-$80k for Bitcoin and then $5k-$6k to Ethereum.
2884  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far will Bitcoin price correct? on: November 24, 2021, 06:21:25 PM
Bitcoin still respecting some EMA such 100 and still above 200 ema on the daily time frame, so we can say bitcoin still have a chance to make a good improvement before this year end.  And base on the 4H time frame there's actually a strong support around 55783, because bitcoin really respecting it 2x since nov19 until now, but there's a strong resistance as well where bitcoin price can’t break out reason there's always a retest from the particular price.. Let's just hope it didn't go through below because if that times happen.. Our only choice is the 200 ema if it will gonna respect it or not, and we all knows what will gonna happen if its negative..
I agreed with you that $55700+ is a strong support, it also serve as resistance on 10th October where it held the price before the breakout of the price with reference to BTC/USD daily timeframe, though the price is below 200 EMA on 4 hour frame which is flat, an indication that the bearish trend is not strong and slow momentum and volatility, thus the strong support at $55K+ should hold the price after the correction, however if price breaks that support then it might correct to $48K+ though this not feasible at this point in time.

Correct, we've been holding that support ever since since drop from the last all time high. And so far the market is strong at supporting at least the $55k and then we are just bouncing around but not going below that price. But in any case it crumbles, we are looking at the $48k first at the next level of support.

So no sub ~$50k for now and it's just less than a week before the month finishes. And as we enter December, I hope that the bullish sentiments will surface again and push the price at the end of the year.
2885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 24, 2021, 09:06:00 AM
Close game for the Knicks and Lakers. I hope I can win this one.

Lakers trying to just hang there and make as many stops as possible and turn it into good offense. WB is hot in the 3rd to tie the game but this 4th quarter is for Immanuel Quickley. I hope he keeps that hot hands and let this be a W for the Knicks.
Update: Win! Cheers.
Randle seems like he wants a piece of someone in the Lakers and Quickley is just stopping him. He had been banged hard by every Laker player.

Nice win again. I think Randle and AD have been going at it throughout the game.

Quickley though started very slow but as we all know that he can get hot in short amount of time and that's what he did against the Lakers.

I have the over though on the other games, Portland vs Nuggets at 1.77 odds. Good enough for me to have this win again.
2886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 24, 2021, 08:33:22 AM
What do you think is the problem why the Lakers are struggling right now? The Coach maybe? or lack of chemistry or the fact that most of them are all star and they want to get the ball and just shoot Cheesy. Either way, I think that the Lakers should adjust right now or they will end up at the lower spot or worse they might not enter the playoffs.

Westbrook isn't the problem (like everyone is complaining about) having almost everyone in the team a superstar and a former one isn't also the issue. They could actually execute a good offensive plays and they can even score in every way they want. Their number one problem is, they are not actually playing some defense.
They can't even sustain a lead no matter how huge it is, because the higher the lead the more the Lakers became comfortable thus making their defense become more lazy.

If they can't figure out how they'll adjust and fix their system, theres no way they're going to the Finals let alone the conference semis.

Still finding the chemistry, I think that is no mystery that with many superstars the coach will have a hard time rotating them. I disagree though, they play good defense, AD and WB play good defense it's that they can't translate their good defense and score points.

But I do agree that the chances for the Lakers to go to the semis much more to the finals is getting less and less with that defeat against the New York Knicks.
2887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 24, 2021, 08:06:03 AM
^^ Hopefully Thiem can come back next year, he was really next in line as I thought amongst the young breed, Dominic has the most chances to become the top seed, unfortunately, last year was a bad year for him.

Zverev though has the momentum with this big win against Djokovic and then Medvedev and for sure he will carry this one next year for another good run. So I'm looking for the next gen to win many tournaments and maybe steal grand slams from Djokovic again.
2888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 22, 2021, 01:35:29 AM

Let's hope to see Crawford and Spence Jr soon.
Arum maybe is busy thinking about his business not the future of the boxer.

This fight has to get done, Arum is such a big failure as a promoter for not letting it happen he even promises in the media that the fight will happen, but Crawford is right when he says that he cannot secure the fight when he is under, now that he is out he doesn't think he can, promoters should have a talk to get this fight, both fighters wants it.
Crawford's plan is to move up if the fight cannot materialize.

Well since is he no longer with Arum, for sure the fight can be made next year.

There was also an option for him to go back down to 140 lbs and face the unified champion in Josh Taylor. But I'm not sure if Bud can still make 140 lbs. Going to 154 lbs might be a dangerous move as one of the Charlo is the champion there.

And it's better for him to fight Spence first before he move up or move down in weight.
2889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 22, 2021, 01:02:39 AM
it was a long match which finished late, exactly what Medvedev hoped for.

I'm going for a Medvedev win.
I went for Zverev to take at least a set. I feel like this is by far the best surface for Zverev to beat Medvedev and he should be full of confidence after his match yesterday. It took some balls to serve those second serves over 220 km/h yesterday and I hope for more of the same aggression today. Medvedev lost sets against worse players than Zverev and against Zverev in the first match it came down to the few balls.

Should be a great match to end our season.

Thats exactly what he did, he carried his momentum from beating Djokovic into
todays match and played that top attacking tennis to eny Medvedev the win,
and did it comprehensively in 2 sets by breaking Medvedev in each set and
making sure his service game was on top, just like yesterday.

6-4, 6-4 in the end, Medvedev couldnt come up with the answers to beat Zverev.

I also have Zverev to win at least a set and a Over total games.

But unfortunately, Zverev has still that momentum from the big win against Djokovic the other night.

And Medvedev has no answer and he says post interview that it seems he is not 100% on this match, his serve doesn't have the spark as compare to his previous games.

But in any case, we love this kind of games so congrats to Zverev.
2890  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 21, 2021, 10:04:19 AM
^^ For sure he will get the services of the best nutritionist out there, hmm, I just thinking maybe he will get Memo Heredia? Although we all know that Memo has a shady past, but he has cleared his name and been with many boxers and helping them out in the last 10 years.

And Canelo will be making another history for Mexican boxing here if he beat Makabu and take his cruserweight title.
2891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc price sideways not what the traders want on: November 21, 2021, 08:57:32 AM
Crypto is here for giving profit otherwize no point of crypto.

*facepalm*

I think you'll find it does have other uses.  Stick around, read a few topics outside of the Trading Discussion boards and take some time to learn.

And I think this is the main reason why noobs lost big money in crypto market because they always think that can make lots of profit in short amount of time.

On the contrary, if the pattern is moving sideways then why not take the opportunity to buy bitcoin again? Isn't it this is one of the first rule in the market? BTFD, I guess everyone is really focus on the expectations that the price will hit 6 digits at the end of the year. And they are all just waiting for it to happen.
2892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 21, 2021, 08:29:41 AM
Another win, Yey!

They made me worry a bit there as the lead keeps going back to 6 then 4 and back to 7, and 8. It was a close game but thankfully the referees are on the Trail Blazers side. 8  vs 5  Grin. Doc Rivers is on the brink of being thrown out because of that but he did calm himself down and just call it a bad day.
Lot's of questionable no call or with a call, officials should review the game with why they miss a lot of them.

True, even as early as the second quarter, there was a lot of questionable calls. I remember Dame slapping someone, (I forget the name) but it was no call.

I did bet live on this game when Sixers was down in the second quarter, +10.5 @2.04 for Sixers.

Same here, I'm a bit worried in the closing minutes, as the lead will jump to 10 points and I was thinking that another 3 by either Dame or CJ will let me lose my bet. Good thing that the Sixers was able to trim it down as you describe.
2893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 21, 2021, 07:44:25 AM
Amazing fight both Crawford and Porter, they really give their best performance in the ring. Honestly the first 7 rounds I was think Porter might win this fight since he's really dominate rather than Crawford even he got a cut on round 3 but that's doesn't stop him. But after Porter got knock out multiple times, the Porter's father need to stop the fight on round 10. I feel bad for Porter, if he could survive the last 3 rounds and not knocked out, I think he will win this match.

Yeah, I have him winning some early rounds in my book and score is tied going to the 10th round.

Porter though seems to be not that aggressive, like in the Spence fight. Maybe he was really avoiding those counter left from Crawford. And the body shot by Crawford took a toll on Porter in the 10th rounds as it's obvious that he has no more legs.

I don't think he will win though, Crawford can get that last 3 rounds in the official judges scorecard.
2894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 21, 2021, 07:19:03 AM
Just watched the Medvedev v Ruud semi-final, it is over in 2 sets, 6-4 and 6-2 to Medvedev.

He said in the post match interview that it was a tricky match but he really didnt look under
pressure, based on this performance I would say he would beat either Djokovic or Zverev judging
on the shots he played today.

Yes, as I have said previously, this could go to under and Medvedev winning in straight sets. No more big comeback from Ruud.

He has the advantage of only playing 2 sets on just over an hour early today.
The Djokovic v Zverev match has the potential to go the distance

You are right, it was pushed to 3 set, but guess what? There was a big upset as Zverev down Djokovic.

Good moral win by Zverev and now that he and Medvedev are going into the finals, it will be another one to predict. But for me it will be a safe Over again as these two are going to have a battle.
2895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 20, 2021, 11:00:30 AM
It's weird though that Porter is all smiling in this official weigh-in.

But yeah, maybe he is confident that he can pull an upset here, odds are still in favour of Crawford but again, this is a highly anticipated fight two great boxers so anything can happen.

Height different doesn't matter, Porter has fought a lot of taller guys in his career and his chin is still intact. But maybe this will be the first time that it might crack.
2896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 20, 2021, 09:59:46 AM
^ Yes, big fights should have it's own thread because of the scope.

Like recently we will have another Canelo fight in the horizon and it will involved Canelo going up in weight. So for me it deserves it's own thread because there are a lot of speculation on it. Or in the case the Loma fight vs Commey, another big fight this December and we will see Loma in action again and this time it will be against another former champion. So that is another thread that is good to have a separate discussion, just my 2 cents.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 20, 2021, 09:09:48 AM
Odds seems to be in favour of the local guy, if you can call anyone local from NY. Vasyl, the Ucranian guy is a strong candidate and much harder in my view than others that have tried to get the title before, but beating a Japanese boxer is not really a credential is it? Richard Comey is at an advantage, at least psychological by playing in the US. And despite all that, still betting on Loma makes sense at current odds, as they seem to be too far on Richard's side.
Whether where Loma will fight, he will always be the favorite to win, and it's not new to him fighting in the US as majority of his fights happen in the US, we can check his full fight records here https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/659771.

As per record, Commey has the experience and that is his only advantage as far as I can see, so I'm not surprised that Loma here is a heavy favorite.

Quote
Vasyl Lomachenko has opened as the -400 betting favorite against Richard Commey.
https://www.thesportsgeek.com/news/sportsbooks-install-vasyl-lomachenko-as-heavy-betting-favorite-against-richard-commey/
True, although Loma is not stateside, Arum was able to bring his talent to the US soil and boy we did witnessed one of the greatest amateur turn into professional and become of the boxing greats in recent time.

So there is no surprised that he is the heavy favorite here against Commey, although RC is also a former world champion, but the A-side of this fight is still Loma.

Arum knows how to build up a fighter, although sometimes he really cherry pick the opponent of his cash cow to make them look great, like in Manny Pacquiao, he has this uncanny ability to bring other nationalities in the US and make them a name.

And as far as I can remember, Loma did fight for a belt in his 3rd fight, that's how good Loma really is, coming from the amateur and then going pro and winning a belt in fewer fights.
2898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 20, 2021, 08:27:52 AM
I can't remember anymore the opening odds for MVP but I'm sure Curry is not even in the top 3.
I am also trying to remember the first odds when I shared the updated one. IIRC, yes he is not even in the top 4 because it was Luka, Nikola, Durant, and Giannis in that position.
But they will have to keep these stats if they want to stay on top. Because there are players below them that are pushing their limits to snatch that MVP award away from them. One of those players is Paul George. He is healthy and plays 35+ minutes per game and shoulders everything for the Clippers' offense. Now at the top 8 of the MVP race averaging 26/7/5 at 29.6 odds to win it.
If his consistency stays and avoided an injury or a health protocol then he will overtake most of the players at the top 5.

I can only remember Luka at the top pick for the MVP at the beginning and true Curry is not even in the top 3 or top 5.

And speaking of Warriors, no Curry, no Draymond? no problem, Jordan Poole and Wiggins carry the team against the Detroit Pistons.

It was not an easy game though, and I don't think that the Warriors has covered the initial spread of -6.5. But still impressive win without their 2 superstars in the roster.

Yes, it is expected that Jordan Poople and Wiggins will carry the load for the Warriors in absence of Curry. This is just a glimpse on how dangerous they really are, still play high level defense even without Draymond and then shot their 3's without Curry.

But it was very close game, Detroit really trying to get a win. But as the announcer said in the beginning, this team is used to winning and that's what they did here, a hard grind win.
2899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 20, 2021, 08:06:49 AM
-snip-
Rublev vs Ruud, this might end up in two sets for Rublev.
It's very possible but maybe this time Ruud will give a tougher fight because of the motivation to get a place in the semifinals because he still has that chance, two sets with a tie break so I will still choose over, and under in the Djokovic vs Norrie match.

Another good win for me with the game extend to 3 sets on Medvedev vs Sinner.

Wasn't able to watch the game, but 6-0 in the first set and then suddenly Sinner was able to have a chance to snatch this one game from Medvedev.

Ok with the Rublev vs Ruud, I will stay and go over as well, I think Ruud will be playing hard on this game.

I went for Under 22.5 games in the match between Rublev and Ruud, plus i have Rublev to win the match i hope he wins it 2-0 in straight sets. Currently Rublev is dominating and already 2 breaks up in the first set, while Ruud keeps making unforced errors and cant hit anything

Fortunately for me, it went on 3 sets so it's Over so I got another bet slip.

Again, I was surprised that Rublev goes to 6:2 and then cant' control the match as Ruud come back strong in the last 2 sets.

So it's Medvedev vs Ruud in about 5 hours from now, I will go Under this time, I don't think that Ruud can repeat that performance against Medvedev tonight.
2900  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which one gonna come true ??? on: November 19, 2021, 01:55:50 PM
it's actually good that we still have this kind of accumulation in the middle of a bull run.

Another perfect opportunity to fatten our wallets with cheap bitcoin at $59k. The thing is that it seems that our mindset has been set to a parabolic rise to 6 digits at the end of the year.

We might see $100k, but it might take some time and it won't be very easy reaching that price as we will have to go to many periods of accumulation, and correction along the way.
There are a lot of people who miss out on these "cheap" prices, I believe it is still not cheap, we are a lot higher than what it used to be and that's why I believe that we are not really cheap but at the end of the day we are talking about something that is still cheap compared to what it was just recently. Then when it goes to 100k or whatever price it goes up to, people will complain that they missed out on buying cheap and they will say they wish they got in and they say "if I got bought bitcoin at 60k then I would have a million dollars now, but I missed out and didn't buy" and talk about it constantly. It just doesn't make sense to me, but in the end there are tons of them around.

That's what people says when the price is around $3k during the pandemic, they say it's not cheap and they are waiting for the price to really go to the $1k range. But it didn't happen and look at where we are right now.

So as the saying goes, BTFD because we may never know when is the next leg room. If you keep on waiting then maybe you will be left out and you can't buy any because of that mindset. Right now it's $57k, and maybe in the next 3-6 months it might double, just saying.
