2961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy on rumour and sell on news. on: January 05, 2019, 06:46:28 PM
There is a rumour about hard  fork of ETH and the volume in the trading of ETH is aggressively growing .Prices are showing strength .Is it an  opportunity to buy on rumour and sell on the news to book profit.
It is not new that when there is an upcoming hard fork of any well known cryptocurrency or coin that is ranked at the top, people are immediately buying it because holders of the coin will receive an amount of hard fork coins after the hard fork depending on how many you are holding and the ratio that will be given per coin, so yes it is an opportunity to make free money from forks while the price is also rising due to many people wants to claim free hard fork coins but only if there are exchanges that will list it on their platforms.

Also it should be worth considering if the new coin which will be distributed as a result of ETH hard fork is worth or not. Eth price has increased a lot in last 10 days and I do not think so it will retain this price near or after the hardfork. The current high price is surely based on bulk buying of ETH Fomo.
2962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the 10th anniversary of Bitcoin on: January 05, 2019, 05:00:51 PM
Ten years of existence is a long one. Kudos to Bitcoin, kudos to Satoshi for this great innovation of our time. Bitcoin came as ease to make transaction easy between different countries and individual without the conventional bank.

Ten years of bitcoins is a good amount of time and this shows that bitcoin is real and is the future. If it was a bubble or a temporary thing, it would have been vanished by now. Bitcoin is a great invention which is life changing and it is slowly changing the payment method of the world.
2963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yearly All Time Lows For BTC on: January 05, 2019, 03:33:43 PM
2012 - $4
2013 - $65
2014 - $200
2015 - $185
2016 - $365
2017 - $780
2018 - $3200

Puts a lot into perspective.

This is just to exciting for what will Bitcoin do next in the new bull run. I know that a lot of people will start to get hyped again and will eventually make the market go up.

Once we get the bull market again, we can easily see the all time high BTC price. It's just a matter of bitcoin crossing 15000$ dollars and it may move directly up to 30,000$ before being pulled down.

The more important question is When will the bull run starts ? Huh
2964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Banks on: January 05, 2019, 02:32:04 PM
Like it ore not, banks will be offering Bitcoin services to their cusomer one day.

Bitcoin is very different than fiat and I do not see any possibility of bitcoin and banks being combined. Bitcoin do not need any bank as bitcoin wallets already act as a bank for the people and we do not need anything which controls our bitcoins. Its better to keep bitcoin in our private wallet rather than keeping it in banks.
2965  Economy / Speculation / Re: People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: January 05, 2019, 01:54:26 PM
Michael Moro, who is a CEO of a major crypto trading company, talks about how people who bought into Bitcoin at the beginning of 2017 at $1000, are now starting to sell their coins. Is this an indication of massive FUD? Is this the time where we should buy and take advantage of the FUD sellers?

When did you guys first buy Bitcoin, what was the price of BTC and are you going to panic sell now?

Source: https://www.ccn.com/crypto-investors-who-bought-bitcoin-at-1000-are-now-starting-to-sell/

As most of the news, this is also a fud news and not have any real reason to be accepted as a true news. Why would those who bought at 1000$ will sell now at 3800$ ? They could have sell it at 19000$ or 15000$ and in worst cases 10,000$. There is no point in waiting for btc to fall so much and then sell at so low profits.
2966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: January 05, 2019, 01:28:30 PM
Hardwork for what? Hacking the system? I guess it is just applicable to online sites or other electronic based games which includes machines or program. Card game can somehow be predicted knowing it has a limited numbers existed. But games like roulete and other lucky games cannot be hacked even you work hard for it so it doesnt makes sense.
I don't know anyone can hack the gambling sites or not?

But if they can then they can be one of the richest people in this wrold so I believe any kind of online gambling sites cannot be hackable.

This depends on the gambling site we are talking about.

There are a lot of gambling sites online and some of them are trusted by a lot of gamblers all over the world. I know you know there are a lot of times that gambling sites and exchange are hacked and that means they can be though not all of them. I am saying this depends since there are times that gambling sites and this exchanges are vulnerable and hackers can find a way or maybe a small hole to get into to hack their sites. That is the reason a lot of sites are being careful to what they are doing especially this gambling sites and exchanges.

Yes hard works will always very important but more than hard works we need smart work also and if you do only hard work you will be very tired in one place but when you made smartworks it will be very good to manage the hard work also that's why hard work and smartwork both are important for any job.

Smart work is more important in gambling rather than the hard work. Smart work means that you know how much you have to gamble each day and how to keep save the profits. Gambling is not all about going all in and risk all the money. If we play it sensibly only then we can make the most out of it.
2967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: January 05, 2019, 10:52:41 AM
I love the way you suggested this it looks like you were just concern about what i may have or not in future, but for me this is one way of testing my self and capability to totally controlled from being a typical gamblers from a fun seeker person,in which i can prove myself of not looking for gambling to earn but only to enjoy, but thanks for this Buddy
One can be a fun seeking gambler. If they are playing for fun or entertainment then they can continue playing without a care in the world accepting that the money they put in is not for making money but a payment for entertainment. Thats how many gamblers remain on sites to play more and everyday and as long as they wont end up wasting too much money there is should be good.

Every person has their method of making money or having fun. If someone finds gambling as entertaining then they should be allowed to do that albeit with proper restrictions on how much they can spend. Wink

Spending money for entertainment specially on gambling is no different on spending money from other types of activities since you do look up for enjoyment but the difference among the two is that
gambling can give you the chance on earning profits but well it depends on a certain person if he do really mean or serious of winning than on enjoying himself.
Its a waste of money if you came to play just to seek of profits because gambling doesn't really work that way.

Your life is filled with both profit and loss and both happiness and sad it cannot be changed by anyone so gambling also like that gambling has both profit and loss it depends upon the situation and how we are using gambling us in the profit way

Yes, in some circumstances we can say that gambling is waste of time and money. The reason is that I have seen many people who come in gambling with the hope of becoming rich quickly. They gamble with their low hard earned savings and eventually they lose those saving is gambling loss. So it is not good at all for those who lost everything in gambling.
2968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: January 05, 2019, 10:43:37 AM
What do you think can be a consistent winning player on this game? is this game of skills or luck?
the longer you play more skills you get?

It will be impossible to get a consistent winning in poker. Poker is a game that require skill and luck. The longer we play, the more skill we will get, just the same with other games, but it won't give a guarantee for us to win everytime. Even though someone has a good skill at poker but if luck isn't on his side, he will be lose anyway. Generally speaking, gambling is a matter of luck.

Experience will surely help us win the poker even though I also strongly agree that luck has a big part in wining too. But consider a person who is new to a person who has played poker for quite some time. The experienced person will use his experience and at same time enjoy the game much more than a newbie poker player.
2969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: January 05, 2019, 10:34:07 AM
For me nope everyone has have own mindset decision for themselves what is right and what is wrong to getting enjoy lives, gambling is not bad games depends on the people how to treat gambling if gamble treat  fun and enjoying themselves with greed control.
Well, anyone can give his/her opinion about bitcoin gambling and its pros and cons. It's upto the individual to decide whether he/she wants to do  gambling or not.
There is no harm in convincing people but one should be careful not to force anyone to do gambling.
2970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: January 05, 2019, 06:41:35 AM
There are people who despite losing their money are still enjoying gambling, in that case, I see a benefit.
The only benefit I see there is enjoyment, notbing else. Do you think it would be enough for you to compensate all of the losses you've made? Maybe a yes, maybe a no; but but if it's not then better for you to stop because you can't already afford to lose further. Besides, if you just really wanna have fun then there are other ways to feel it without spending to much. Be practical Smiley.
As I already said, eveyone will look for their zone to enjoy so for them spending money will make them more happy than anything else.

Exactly, Benefits of gambling varies from person to person whether it be fun or monetary value. In case one is playing for money only, then this is very risky because there are equal chances of wining or losing in gambling. If anyone play for fun then it really does not matter if he won the bet or not, because his main objective is to get the time pass with fun.
2971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 04, 2019, 05:13:02 PM
Pujara deserved a double tom but just missed by 7 runs would hurt all . India is nearing 600 and would declare soon and try to get Oz all out quickly and give them followon and try to win this match as well . It will be test of bowlers again to get PZ team 20 wickets .

I wonder what's wrong with the Aussies this time around. Making such a big score is not a easy task against them in the Australian grounds. There was a time when McGrath and other bowlers used to destroy the batting lines of opposition. Time have changed and now Australians are losing  their control over the game.
2972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I've just put ALL my student savings into TURTLECOIN ($50K) on: January 04, 2019, 04:24:01 PM
I haven't read or heard about this turtle coin and for you to invest $50 k for that coin is something, you must have seen something good on that coin that people here aren't, even if it pump 1/4 of it's price you are still going for a profit, but be sure to spread your portfolio.

I haven't heard of TURTLECOIN. It may or may not be worth invested in it but in either case you should think to diversify your portfolio and do not relay on a single coin. No matter how strong a coin is , we never know the future so it is advisable not to put all your savings in a single coin. If its a good coin you can invest 50 percent of your savings in it and try to get other coins from remaining 50% of the portfolio.
2973  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: January 01, 2019, 05:11:22 PM
Everyone desire is to experience a bullish runs this year so as to compensate our efforts and patience throughout the bearish period and I am quite optimistic the bear is going to end someday however I don't think its possible to attain the previous ATH witnessed in 2017 because a lot of investors are disappointed with bitcoin dumping of btc from $20k to $3k.
Yes.We are all hoping for a bull run to come so that we can make big profits already from our coins being hold since the bear season had started.I know the price won't definitely goes up vey high just like in 2017,but for sure a good price increase will take place once a bull run starts. So never give up on bitcoin.

2019 has started and we are still in bearish mode. There is no sign of bull market comeback. None of the coins are showing any signs of recovering. Those few coins which are being pumped are the ones which have some news Like testnet / mainnet / hardfork etc. Other than that we are mainly seeing decline in the market.
2974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns. on: January 01, 2019, 02:02:06 PM
Seriously speaking, this is the exact thing that I am facing. I have participated in numerous projects, some of them even get listed but they don't distribute bounty tokens saying that it won't be distributed now. Some don't even list the tokens, they complain everyday about the market situation that they will list very soon and their "very soon" does not have specific time frame.

Well I also have these issues and I think every bounty hunter will face such types of bounty in his career. The best way to deal with is to ask the admin in their official telegram group and perhaps we can get an idea of when the distribution will begin.
Also we will come to know the views about the projects from the comments of other people in the telegram channel.
2975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC Cheat Against Bounty Hunters on: January 01, 2019, 01:47:31 PM
First of all why do projects ask investors to KYC before they can contribute and then some of them cheat bounty hunters by
1. Failing to tell them there'll be KYC right from the beginning of the campaign and
2. KYCing them after the bounty campaign.

Some project managers know majority of bounty hunters will fail KYC and so they'll say KYC is after the campaign. Why don't they let them KYC as the campaign is running and then when they pass, they join. I've been doing bounties for sometime and honestly speaking it's so sad that some people do work for months and then they fail mere verification process so they don't receive anything.

In my opinion, I think this is another cheat against hunters that Devs and managers should reconsider.

There is no point in collecting the KYC from the bounty hunters. It is OK for the investors to do KYC but bounty hunters have already advertised for the project. They have devoted their time to the project and if they are denied of tokens on the basis of KYC failure it will really hurt the feelings of bounty hunters.
2976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Ethereum Limited (ETHL)? on: January 01, 2019, 01:34:03 PM
A few months ago I participated in bounty Ethereum limited = https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4539121
I want to ask, did anyone participate in the ETHL bounty? After the distribution of tokens, there seems to be no further news about this project. Actually what is happening? Have you ever experienced this, when you participated in another project. Please share your experiences and opinions.
Thank you for your time.

I did not participate in ETHL bounty but this is not an unusual thing that the project team just gather money from the ICO and distribute the bounty tokens and just vanish or move towards different project. This is called scam ICO which has really given bad reputation to digital currencies.

2978  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: December 26, 2018, 06:17:10 PM
There is no miracle for bitcoin, bitcoin only needs time to have a high price again, and it would be long so this is where we are tested to have patience or not to hold it. In my opinion this is reasonable because bitcoin is unstable with unnatural increase/decrease in price so we just have to wait until the price increasing again.
Yes, I agree. Bitcoin does not need a miracle, but Bitcoin requires buyers to increase prices, because the nature of Bitcoin is that if there are many buyers the price will rise, but if you sell a lot of Bitcoin, the price will go down.

I think we should wait for next year. In Jan and Feb, I think bitcoin price will cross 10,000$. The reason for this is some big investments is planned to come in bitcoin and also regulations is expected.
2979  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: December 26, 2018, 04:23:43 PM
There are still so many people and investors that believe in bitcoin. So i think bitcoin will not disappear easily. Bitcoi n will still recover and will dominate the market again.
That is the main reason why bitcoin is not going to disappear, as long as some people keep believing in it and keep using it then bitcoin is going to be here with us, in fact I will say that it is completely the opposite, each day bitcoin is getting stronger and more people are adopting it so the chances that bitcoin is going to disappear are incredibly low.

Whenever there is a big dump in the market, things like these do pop up. We see everywhere people sating that bitcoin is a bubble , it will end soon, it is a scam etc. But then the market recovers well and we stop hearing such negative voices.
2980  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: December 26, 2018, 04:16:35 PM
Definitely, the best time to enter BTC or crypto investment is when the price is down in order to buy more at low price. The market has shown great resistance to the fall for the past week now. The green market is a healthy one can only mean an imminent bull market when this trend stays for quite a number of weeks.
of course, an investor will look for the deepest point of decline, so they will be more effective when investing. but indeed with a low price is an opportunity to buy coins in large quantities

Big investors were waiting for the price to drop this much so that they can buy more bitcoins from here cheap and then again make profit in the next bull run. I think getting bitcoin between 3500 - 4000$ is really a gift.
