No, they go to IOTA instead which is much "cheaper" at only $x.xx.... without caring that it is a coin that has delivered NOTHING of what is suppossed to do. Have anyone seen where is that code that would run on microcontrollers? I have been trying to find sources for Arduino to no avail.... well, in fact, no source for any microcontroller at all. Not even beta, or alpha, or a fucking draft.... NOTHING.

That's because people are idiots.  The same idiots don't buy bitcoin because they think they have to invest $13k to get one.  Same for the stock market.  You don't have to buy a full share of Google.
I don't think those are the kind of people that should be buying into crypto anyway.

what can i do if i have an unconfirmed transaction since 14 hours? i never had this with byteball.
and the explorer does not find the unit.

https://explorer.byteball.org/#k24D1W+gGVhs16/ys65KFiz4w0jpmsbJLZ78YopYBA4=

i wanted to send some bytes via e-mail.

Did you upgrade the version to 2.00.0?
It will fix issue with the wallet for what might appear as a spend that your wallet thinks is there, but not broadcasted.

Here is your link to receive 0.003 GB: https://byteball.org/openapp.html#textcoin?share-latin-suspect-scan-leaf-spice-tent-pull-faith-battle-index-inquiry

i am using the newest version. that why i played with the new features.
i already restored from backups.

I don't see how if you restored from backup PRIOR to the transaction that your client can still see a transaction not listed on the network.

If you don't have blackbytes in that wallet, you can try a restore from seed.

I can't see what is going on since I don't know the address you were sending to or from or have a copy of your wallet to see.  So, very limited on what people can see to help.

So dev changed the rule to make an airdrop on every full moon.
This is not good, I bought many byteballs and see the prize falling every week.
To get the promised byteballs and blackbytes for this was a nice compensation for the big loss.
Now i seriously think about selling this coin, because i made my investment under wrong preconditions, a pity.

You could always start your own project and change your own rules just like every other ALT in existence.
Basically, you're crying because you thought you would get free money every month?  Sounds like a government program to me which is known as welfare.   Why work on your own wealth if you can just sit back and get free money all the time.  Even welfare stops.

Did someone 'promise' that you would get free money every month?

The free bytes stopped before the huge loss in value.

Sell your bytes.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: December 07, 2017, 11:25:14 PM
I have no bytes but I have tons of blackbytes in my byteball wallet.
I tried to sell my blackbytes in the chatbot but it asks for bytes for fee.

So how can I sell my blackbytes while I have no bytes in my wallet?
You can not sell without bytes Cheesy where are your blackbytes from?

WTF? What kind of system uses other coins for fee but not its own coin?
This is so stupid

Maybe you shouldn't have dumped the free bytes for sale then.  You're one of the problems.  'Gimmie my free stuff so I can spend it, and then complain that I didn't get more free stuff to dump the other free stuff'.

'What do you mean I can't buy or sell a house without a fee?'   -  Yes, you need cash to sell a house.  You can't use a portion of the house as payment to sell the house.   Ok ok, not a great anology, but you get the point.

That's said, go convert $1 of your other alt back into byteball so that you can sell off your blackbytes.   And, stop complaining about your free money.

Ps: you better sell your btg now, you won't see that high price for long.

Perfectly said.... Well.... That's what someone would also say if they want the price to go down in order to buy it up cheaper.

i think im delete my wallet where my foulder with the seed or file ?

On the thumb drive you used to make your backup?
Or on the paper you used to write it down when you installed your wallet.
Or in the recycle bin.

The location where the wallet is store is the same folder when the seed is located.   So, if the folder is gone, then so is the seed.
Good thing you have backups, right?

Hi all.
I need help.
For some reason my private BTG key doesn't work  Cry
I have generated the address here:
https://btgwallet.online/

It is saved okay because i look 10 times to be sure ...
Address GgASZ2Qvpi2SjmGzt6a1GLEFpLyqycqEDU
Public 038de5bb6f8278c4b1579baeab59aaa68376bc5218d8be150ec1ef9ccee0fff3d0

Hard for us to know what you're talking about or able to check, because you provided the public address and the public key.

The private key (compressed) is what you probably want and is the default in most engines.
It will start with a K or L
uncompressed starts with a 5

You can go to a brain wallet site to do the conversion.
http://brain.evilbs.com/  (You can also download the source from github so that you can run it with an offline machine for safety).
- click on Private key
- paste in your private key
- then click on compressed or uncompressed to switch back and forth.

Thanks for reply!
Unfortunatly no success(
The privat key is not recognized(
Maybe the issue is with http://brain.evilbs.com/ (all operations only for BTC, there is no BTG)

If your private key is not recognized, then you copied it wrong.  It doesn't matter if it's BTC, BCH, or BTG.  A key is a key.
First, does your private key start with a K or L or 5?

You may contact me directly via PM.  I am not asking for your private key.  I am trying to help you get it without needing to give up information.

Have you guys all claimed your BTG?
What is the safe and easy easy of doing so?
I don't wanna export every privatekey which would take lots of time.

I would like to recommend Coinomi which is safe and secure to make claim this coin. I'm using this wallet to make claim this really way to get free coin and send them anywhere.

Coinomi is highly recommended.
Just note that with coinomi, you're sweeping the address (moving coins into coinomi).  You're not importing.

You don't want to go through the hassle of pressing a few buttons to get free money?   Uhhhh, then you wouldn't mind paying me to do it for you?
Send me your private keys and I will go through the tedious button pressing to collect the free money for us (we're gonna be a team now).
Smiley

No?   Damn.

Ok,  SAFE != Easy     Gotta make up your mind.

Safe =
Move your BTC to a new address or addresses
then, move your BCH to a new address or addresses
then claim your BTG

Not everyone has claimed their BTG. (I can say that with 100% authority.)

Also, for ease, it depends on the wallet you use to hold your coin.
All will have the ability to export the private keys.  You can then import into your BTG full node (if you choose to run one).  Basically, you've said you want it easy, but didn't mention what your working with (wallet / number of addresses / amounts / etc).

Anyone here who can help me with this? Still looking for a programmatically way to convert Bitcoin addresses into Bitcoin Gold addresses.

Is there a snippet or a pseudo code to transform a Bitcoin address into a Bitcoin Gold hashed address?

I want to provide a little tool for people to check whether they own BTG. Normally you would just use your BTC address in the fork's explorer to check (like you can do with BCH), but due to the distinct hashed BTG address format that is not possible.

You mean like.

Also I typed in my btc address that was already synced before and it made me sign and verify a new msg again (this was after I updated to the new version of the wallet) But it should have already been synced right?

Addresses have never been 'delinked' that I know of.

What is your byteball address and/or bitcoin address so that we can check.

Also, you can check at:
transition.byteball.org
in combination with
explorer.byteball.org

Do you think Byteball can compete with IOTA. IOTA has no fees and byteball it has. I think that only for this reason IOTA will always have a suggestion. In addition, the interest of large companies is also on the IOTA side.

IOTA has been hacked.
IOTA has buggeted / spent a lot of money towards marketing.
IOTA doesn't have human readable smart contracts.
- With byteball, I can send pay you xyz GB if you pay ment yzx GBB.   No escrow need and it's easy to do with the client directly and/or via Bots (also within the client).
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gold for free on: December 02, 2017, 04:46:39 PM
Guys I just red that the Bitcoin fork has already started. May I know if it is still possible to get Bitcoin gold for free? And if yes, how?
BTW I am not sure if this should be posted in the altcoins section or here because the for is related to Bitcoin.

You get bitcoin gold for free to your addresses that had bitcoin in them at the time of the fork  (10/24/2017).

You have to split them away from your addresses.  Many safe ways to do this.   Just do a search (here or google) on how to claim/redeem/split bitcoin gold.

Note.... Safest to more your bitcoin to a new address and then do the split.

Common wallet used for splitting (at this time) is   Coinomi.
