Let's face it, the reason Bitcoin doesn't have a bigger block size is due to the miners. They like the current situation which is keeping the blocks full and driving up the fees. The block size should have been at least doubled to 2MB years ago.
Also, if the 2x part of the Segwit2x NYA kicks in I will be very surprised.
(Last block at 18:38, two more blocks and there will be a difficulty adjustment. I'm just holding and waiting to see what happens.)

Is anybody having problems getting Vialectrum to connect?  Yes.. Here . Only one red dot at the bottom right . What can wo do ? Waiting ? Or new Wallet ? same problem here any updates on this? Is there something new ? How do I synchronize the vialectrum wallet now ? There is now a possibility ? I just opened Vialectrum and I am connected. Can you try again ? I'll try again when I get home. But iirc the issue wasn't no connection, I had a connection... the issue was 0 Balance. I assumed it generated the wrong address or used a different offset (whatever) than the clearwallet. So, this is supposed to work same seed on clearwallet/viaelectrum same addresses? |

Are any transactions showing, does Vialectrum show your address? I've got the same problem too. Getting clearwallet.io priv keys for VIA addresses is technically possible, so hopefully someone helps out soon. No, it doesn't show anything. I have no idea if this is the same address clearwallet gave me, because I never really shared the pub key with anyone or sent money there. If anyone knows of a way to get the pubkeys from clearwallet while clearwallet is down so I can compare them, that would be great. |

Hey people, is there away to merge the BTC in mycelium wallet in two separate accounts that are part of the same back up without simply sending a TX from one to the other.
To be clear, I have coins in two separate addresses which are label account 1 and account 2 in my mycelium wallet. Can I some how transfer the ones from account 2 over to account 1 or transfer them both to a new address/account without creating paying and waiting for a standard blockchain transaction.
I know this may be a silly question but I just want to check becuase although I understand the general principle behind them I'm not completely sure of all the functions the HD wallets are capable of.

No, you can't do that. Your coin's aren't in your wallet, they are in the block chain. Your wallet just stores the keys for them all derived from your seed. Each account uses a different derivation offset, so to speak. So, if you want them in another account you have to send them there. |

afiak while he was worked on NXT, BTCD and created several project on the NXT blockchain backed by assets on that blockchain. This is the first new coin/blockchain he has launched with an ICO. |

And again, the developers should really keep to the schedule that they've posted here many times over the past months:
Schedule
- ICO site accepts BTCD
- 7 days after that BTCD snapshot happens & the swapping begins
- Elections begin, and last 2 weeks
- Elections are over, elected notary nodes will get ratified, KMD will be distributed
Most importantly, we should get at least 1 week notice before the snapshot. Many people can only move a limited amount of crypto out of Poloniex per day, depending on verification levels, so please give us a week, as promised before the snapshot so we can get it done.
If you want to allow swapping earlier or distribute KMD early, I suppose wouldn't be downsides, but the advance notice for the snapshot is important. Thank you.
I thought the REVS snapshot would happen before the swap? If I send my BTCD off and then the snapshop happens, don't I get no revs? Or are you saying you only get REVS if you have sent your BTCD to the ICO site? |

First the wall was bought. Second, the seller obviously isn't interested in Komodo and either needs the cash or thinks the project will not return an investment, meaning that once Komodo launches, its price won't be as high as the relative BTCD price. We will see who is right.
I can see selling your BTCD if you didn't want it, but just doesn't make sense to dump it that low. The price wasn't even nearly that low yesterday when they sold the first batch at .031. It was actually at least 10% higher. So they crash the price and then they make a big sell wall at the low price that gets eaten away. They refresh it at just about the same price until it all gets eaten...makes zero sense, but go figure. Anyway, I would have to do some math but I think even at .0035 or even .004, BTCD is still a bargain, considering you are getting a lot more KMD than you would from the ICO. I would buy more BTCD if I had the money to buy BTC. But is it worth it buying BTC at £843 ($1050)? It doesn't really matter how much 1 BTC = in fiat since the BTC/BTCD price will mostly adjust with the BTC price. |

REVS will have its own blockchain, same as all the other assetchains. I guess I don't understand. Aren't assets usually stored on some parent coin blockchain like NXT or Bitcoin (counterparty)? |

No, they are completely separate. Meaning, even sending payments and getting change is to completely seperate addresses. So, only way to directly connect them (that I know of) is if you send between the two accounts in which case a wallet explorer can link them.
That won't really "link" the wallets. It will show that one address sent to another. But, there is no way to know the same person owns those addresses or that they came from the same seed. |
