I think Pakistan has underestimated Ireland as being the new team at test match cricket and thought that they might get an easy win however Ireland has shown that they are capable of putting up a fight and may even win or come close to winning this test match. If Ireland can get a 200 run lead it would be tough for Pakistan to chase it down.
If Ireland gets more than 200 runs lead, then either they will win the match, or it will end up in a draw. But one of the disadvantages Ireland may face is that they lack a quality spinner for the fourth innings. But then again, the chances of an Irish lead of 200+ is now very slim, after Kevin O'Brien got out. Imam-ul-Haq really saved Pakistan. At somewhat like 10 for 3, Pakistanis were looking like they're done for, but then, partnership of Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam saved the game. Now the 2 test series is beginning in Lord's, London from 24th May between England and Pakistan. This series is literally something for which I'm real excited. |

The Ireland vs Pakistan match has taken an interesting turn. Pakistan were in the driver's seat for most part of the match, forcing Ireland to follow on and taking control of the match. However, a century from O'Brien has helped Ireland wipe out the deficit and they are right now 139 runs ahead with 3 wickets in hand. If they add another 40-50 runs to their score, it could become very interesting.
Tables might be turning up. Bad captaincy by Sarfaraz Ahmed throughout the innings. Wrong field placements, drop of catches, and other amateur-ish behavior of Pakistani players is ruining the matching for them. After watching Pakistani players making a hell lot of mistakes throughout the match (specially the current innings), I don't know how they're going to even face England in upcoming matches. |

Ireland wasted a great opportunity yesterday. If they had taken one more wicket, then Pakistan could have been bowled out for less than 200. But the Irish captain put too much faith on the inexperienced Tyrone Kane and he bowled more overs than the experienced pacers Tim Murtagh and Boyd Rankin.
First test match and it's a follow-on, how worse can it get? IMO, Ireland will take a while to understand how stuff goes in a test match. They've made very silly mistakes and dropped easy catches, like three catches in total were dropped of the top-scorer of Pakistan (Faheem Ashraf). Some oldies are still playing in their team, like the O'brien brothers, they need to train the new blood instead of relying upon the old one. Anyways, the start of second innings by Ireland has remained fine. 64 for 0. Let's see how they continue tomorrow. |

Pakistan vs. Ireland test match started today (from Day 2) after constant rain yesterday. Right now, 268 for 6, while Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf still staying & playing pretty good. This time, Pakistan's middle order made the innings. Usually, if Pakistan's top order fails, the middle-order fails as well, but that didn't happen this time. Asad Shafiq's inning was quite a good one, but captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed, yet once again, played a disappointing innings. He has been unable to get rid of "twenties" in each inning for a while now, if we take a look at his all matches from 2017-2018. Let's see how the second day goes tomorrow. the match looks like fixed without a doubt, they were cruising really well when chasing and suddenly loosing wickets and ends up chocking rather than getting the win

Do you really think that if a match is fixed each and every person in the team will have the knowledge about it, be realistic and do not say fixed matches are impossible, we have seen a lot of fixed matches throughout history and there were matches where i lost money because it was purely fixed and then the investigation years down the line is revealed and we wont get that money back. I agree, not all the players are booked, but some are booked for sure. IMO, there's a lot of "spot-fixing" in these tournaments that ultimately leads towards the match getting totally fixed. |

Even though Delhi Daredevils scored pretty good, but at the end, it seemed like that total was nothing for SRH.
That is the reason they still on top of the table and most probable favorite to become this year's champion. So far SRH's bowling unit has performed well like defended very low scores also many times. But with today's match they proved with their batting depth. Kane Williams once again showed his class in Indian pitches, his marvelous form continues whereas Shikar Dawan started this year IPL with little bit hiccups due to injury reasons. Still, he too found his form with this match as these duo found home with their unbeaten partnership by easy handling of usual pressure of chasing a decent score. Before SRH's successful chase, I got miscalculations about result of this match due to Rishap pant's cameo century. He hit India's highest IPL score still his team was not able to defend the score to harvest his one man show and efforts. That was one of the greatest centuries ever scored in history of IPL for Delhi Daredevils, however, Jason Roy, Iyer, and others disappointed in batting. Moreover, except for Harshal Patel, every bowler bowled so poorly. Next match coming up tomorrow is between RR and CSK in Jaipur. I've a feeling CSK will win this one. |

IMO, this won't be an easy win for Pakistan. Pakistan has been focusing too much on T20s lately and didn't make the ODI and Test matches the part of focus. They don't have any perfect combination for a test team.
