The food in the sea games athlete's village are so good or delicious that the Malaysian coach is worried that their delegates will be overfed  Cheesy

The food is delicious, even better than those served at some hotels... and it’s open 23 hours every day.

“With the athletics venue across the road from the Village, I'm afraid they might have too much time in their hands and the mess hall might become the focal point,” said Mumtaz, who is the deputy president of Malaysian Athletics Federation.

Athletes living at the Games Village are served breakfast from 5am, while the last call for supper is 4am the next day. In between, there are four more scheduled “feeding times

I also read some feedback that says it's a strategy by the host country to keep the other competitors out of shape Cheesy
That's not true of course but that still sounds funny...."If you can't beat them, feed them"

323  Local / Pilipinas / Re: "Development" and "Improvement" of the Society: Discussion about Blockchain. on: December 02, 2019, 06:59:12 PM
Sa aking pag tingin hindi naman natin ganun talaga kailangan ang "talks" or "seminars" about crypto or blockchain at the moment. Yes it can spread awareness sa bansa and it has the potential to make individuals be innovative on developing their own crypto or patent blockchain but this is just the future and matagal tagal pa bago natin makikita yung fruits nito and by that time naunahan na tayo ng ibang bansa sa industriya na ito. If we really want crypto mass adoption to happen in our country I think the best way is to advocate our support towards it para naman makita or mapansin tayo ng gobyerno natin na malakas demand para sa crypto industry, pag nakuha natin supporta nila tiyak na dudumugin tayo ng mga crypto related businesses hindi lang sa CEZA nagfofocus, kalaunan nun mga local businesses na din ang mag-aaccept ng Bitcoin pag nagtagal.

We are probably at the advocating stage already.

Sorry I can't help you but you could probably get more answers if you ask in the Monero ANN https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.0 The thread is pretty active.
325  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All goals are attainable, Way to be Hero Member and Legendary. on: December 02, 2019, 06:25:56 PM
This is probably the third post I've seen from a higher rank member. You are one of the WO regulars and that suggests that newbie traders can learn some from you. It shouldn't take you long before you make it to DdmrDdmr's Rank Up Pipeline. I don't know when you will reach Legendary but I am guessing it will happen before 2021. All the best.

326  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Ranking-up pipeline - Those that are close to their next rank on: December 01, 2019, 05:39:42 PM
We should be able to see less "close to rank _____" type of topics being created on Meta or beginners section with this list. At least that is what I am expecting to happen.
327  Economy / Reputation / Re: Acct sold, hacked, trolling...?! on: December 01, 2019, 05:08:48 PM
I would go for sold account.

After changing password in 2018-08-17, the first post was joining a signature campaign and it happened on the very same day. The new owner may have a decent English also but s/he does not have that sarcastic tone in his/her comments unlike the original owner. The posting gap from March 2018 to August 2018 (password change) is worth checking too.
328  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Campaign Management Website for Bitcointalk Signature Campaigns (idea) on: December 01, 2019, 04:04:09 PM
This is like a bountyhive, bounty0x, or bountysuite type of platform but it will only focus on signature campaigns? I've encountered many signature participants using the bounty platforms I mentioned in the past. A lot of them were just copying posts from somewhere or using text spinners and still getting weekly stakes.

I don't think it will be any different with the platform you are trying to build.
329  Economy / Exchanges / Re: IDAX.pro CEO goes "missing". Customer funds locked up in the exchange. on: December 01, 2019, 03:47:07 PM
The last time I have read anything about IDAX, it was an accusation by various projects that the exchange is faking the IEO. During those times, many of its defenders, bots, and zombies cam to the rescue with messages like "I have been using IDAX for a long time and I never had an issue". Where they at now?
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: December 01, 2019, 03:30:57 PM
Philippines is dominating as expected after day one.

Where are you guys betting for the 30th sea games? I only see the soccer or football games available on Nitrogen sports and Cloudbet which is understandable since it's the most popular sport. Do you know of anything else?

332  Local / Pamilihan / Re: What is etoro? on: November 30, 2019, 03:54:03 PM
Ang ingay din nila noong 2017, ang daming ads. I don't subscribe to these platforms with copy trading features kagaya ng e-toro. Ang dahilan ay gagawin kang tamad nyan para mag-aral at mag-improve sa crypto trading mo. Sa mga gustong sumubok, choice niyo pa din iyan.

Freedom of speech is very much respected here. If the comments towards you or your posts aren't really life threatening, I don't think admin or mods will disallow them.

I have this thinking that pro traders aren't that emotional and have a tough skin. I guess there are exceptions? If you feel you are being verbally assaulted in WO, you are free to post your predictions elsewhere.
335  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A question about wallets (BTC and USDT) on: November 30, 2019, 02:04:07 PM
Which type of USDT are you planning to store? There are currently three types and they are Omni layer protocol, Ethereum based (erc-20), and Tron based (trc20). Anyway, your best wallet is still hardware type which can store them both such as Ledger Nano but since you prefer desktop, maybe you can choose Atomic wallet.
336  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Type of crypto school on: November 30, 2019, 01:48:58 PM
The title in the OP is quite confusing but based on the choices in the poll, I would assume that the poster was talking about tutorials on cryptocurrencies and not school (universities). Anyway, to answer the poll, I prefer a mix of all the choices.

That was my biggest problem when i started learning crypto, we need everything on one platform!
bitcointalk.org is the platform that has everything or almost everything.
337  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk's historical important changes on: November 29, 2019, 05:55:50 PM
Seems that cannot determine the order of creation of different local boards using their Ids.
According to History of local boards which was posted by tranthidung, German board has been created on 09/10/2010 and Russian board has been created on 29/6/2011 while their Ids are 16 and 10 respectively.

Russian board was created first according to Veleor

The actual date of birthday of the Russian local is July 28, 2010

It's interesting that so many Russians have shown interest in the project. Thinking about the Russian culture and society, I'm not completely surprised why. I'll make a new board, let's see how many non-English-speaking users we'll get.

The first topic in the Russian local.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Most Valuable Blockchain Companies. China and USA Leads on: November 29, 2019, 05:24:58 PM

Don't ever use link shorteners.

5. No link shorteners that require users to view an ad.
339  Local / Pilipinas / Re: "Development" and "Improvement" of the Society: Discussion about Blockchain. on: November 29, 2019, 04:55:57 PM
Is it really just for the development of the society or for the money?

I hope na magkaroon pa ng mga free seminars ang NEM and paylance to make a brighter future for students.
Akala ko libre lahat ng seminars nila whether sila ang nag-sponsor or kung naimbitahan sila as resource speaker.
