Day 1 Ranking

Rankings can also be seen, 3rd post in the first page, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5394519.msg59856585#msg59856585

3224  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia can evade sanction through cryptocurrencies on: April 15, 2022, 12:13:10 PM
For now Russia still have lots of options even with these so called harshest sanctions from the west. They can utilize cryptocurrencies and economic giants like China, India and Brazil. I even believe that many of these western countries are just trying to show the world and the public that they are doing their best to destroy Russia's economy. Germany for example, wanted to block oil sanctions. North Korea, Iran and Turkey utilizing cryptocurrencies are also common and it won't be surprising if Russia is secretly doing massive transactions already.
3225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 15, 2022, 11:49:25 AM

It's 100% obvious that Donaire is already not in his prime on their first meetup with Inoue
Indeed! It was 100% obvious only if people were actually watching his prime years. Prime years that made him the top 3 p4p in the world and a 4 division champion. Prime years that earned him multi Ring and BWAA awards. Prime years that made him a million-dollar fighter.

but after the fight, that age issue become useless as they saw Donaire performing like age is not hitting him yet.
Wait! I thought it was obvious that Donaire was not his prime anymore?Cheesy Maybe you haven't watched his prime years then? Or maybe you only watched a few and you cannot remember much of it anymore? You cannot compare the movements, ring generalship, aggressiveness and his hand speed? Why do you think Donaire moved down to 118 when many times he mentioned before that he cannot make the weight anymore? You think prime Donaire will struggle with that journeyman Cesar Juarez? Or lost to Magdaleno? Why do you think he is not a million-dollar fighter anymore? Hell, guy wasn't even paid $400k since dropping back to 118. Probably with Inoue he can make over $500k reason why he is willing to travel to Inoue's backyard.

Do you really think the 4 division legend becomes a 4-1 or 5-1 underdog against this Inoue at prime? You're becoming funny bruh. Without that Donaire victory, all of Inoue's bantamweight victories cannot even equalized Donaire's scintillating bantamweight win over then Ring, WBO and WBC champ Cucholito. His victory over Donaire I think was the first and only time he was awarded by The Ring for the fight of the year. It is always funny with the casuals. Let's see if he can match Donaire's 4 divisions. And Donaire's 2 time The Ring's knockout of the year and fighter of the year both by The Ring and BWAA. Grin

3226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 15, 2022, 10:05:17 AM
Wow! Cleveland vs Atlanta odds changed as I expected. Yesterday it was Atlanta -2.5 at at just 1.85. Now I got it at -2.5 at 2.01. We will see if the Hawks can continue their momentum with their hot shooting. There's also the question on Jarrett Allen playing but most likely he will since this game will decide Cavs fate this season.

Thank you for the free spins bruh! I appreciate it a lot. It was fun. I remember the last time I played in a casino at Marina Bay Sands just before the Covid pandemic.
3228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 14, 2022, 12:32:12 PM
I already took my bet on Kambosos last week while he is still the underdog. I believe that odds may slowly shift towards Kambosos becoming the favorite or at the very least will become nearly at par. Haney got very good skills and he is strong. But he isn't that tested. His best win was against an old Linares that even wobbled him and he cannot stop the guy. Congrats on being the first guy that beat Linares by decision. Linares got stopped on his other losses. Haney also cannot stop an old Yuriorkis Gamboa. He wasn't even hurting a blown up featherweight in Jojo Diaz. So I conclude that there is a very tiny chance Haney can hurt Kambosos. Kambosos got great hand speed too. Haney at times play dirty probably because he is desperate on scoring knockouts at championship level. Kambosos will never get bullied, try playing dirty on him and he will return it with interest. And if the fight becomes close, I got a feeling George will be taking them judges scores.

Wow! Noted bai. Maraming salamat. Nakaka-excite.
3230  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: April 14, 2022, 11:03:29 AM
Ako lang pala naiba dito ah. -3.5 Minnesota Timberwolves. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Anyways, may the best team wins. Sayang kasi prime years niya. Last time ata naging real contender sila nung panahon pa ni Garnett kung saan nadagdag sina Sprewell at Cassell.

Congrats sa panalo mo bai. Nag-choke yong Clippers in the fourth quarter, sakto naman na pumutok sina Russel at Edwards at na-cover yong spread ng bet mo.

Tipong 1 is to lang kumbaga. Sigurista gaming. Tingin ko Atlanta ulit to.

3232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 14, 2022, 09:52:31 AM
Donaire did said that age is just a number after beating then WBC champion Oubaali. But it is a fact that age is a factor. No matter how much you train yourself, you cannot stop the effects of aging when it comes to reflexes, speed, stamina and strength. They slowly start to diminish at 30s. One can simply watch his previous fights since winning his first world title against Vic Darchinyan at flyweight and then later terrorizing divisions up to featherweight. The thing that keeps Donaire a champion is his power, something the bantamweights cannot take.

We seldom see late 30s becoming world champions. And most of them are technical boxers like Floyd Mayweather and BHop. Brawlers, they rely most on strength like Miguel Cotto and Iron Mike will have difficulty when it comes to career longevity.

You guys are taking Donaire's age too seriously. Age is a factor as you said and I agree with that but we should not include that in our analysis of his upcoming fight with Naoya Inoue. He is already in his late 30s when he fought Inoue first and look at what happened to the Japanese boxer. It looks like Inoue was against a prime boxer. Donaire still moves forward after that 1st fight and is able to keep his strength in his next couple of fights and both are impressive 4th Round KO win.

Enough of this age issue. That was totally a non-sense factor for me to include in our analysis.

Me and some are emphasizing Donaire's age because it is a factor. How could we not include in our analysis when it is clear as day that he is not the same fighter anymore. We can talk about skills but knowing the other guy's skills isn't the same because of aging then it will be worth mentioning. It would be a shame talking about how poor Michael Jordan and the Wizards cannot compete against the top like the previous championship Bulls team without considering his age. Or saying how weak Mike Tyson was against Kevin McBride. It's like discounting these legends and their previous achievements were just flukes because they lost when they became old. I can remember when Lomachenko said he is not interested fighting Pacman because the legend is past his prime and people would say he beat an older version. You guys seen GGG and Canelo's previous two fights? They were close. I beat their third match will make GGG minimum x3.

I just talked with an fb friend and he's also an admin of our boxing group. The Ring magazine (the bible of boxing) reporter and editor. He's also a member of the BWAA a rival of The Ring when it comes to the highest awards in boxing. I just cut and shaded some of it because he is also linked to local media. Anyways, best wishes to Donaire but I think Inoue will be smarter this time, he won't engage much and maybe he can also stop Donaire in the late rounds.

Ito na finals na thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5394519.0. Tsaka for the last time mag pm na rin ako sa mga finalists. Good luck sa ating lahat at enjoy.

Final Round 43 Ranking

- The Golden State Warriors are the champions this 2021-2022 season! This was least expected. After the regular games, I ranked GSW as the weakest of all the top 4s in the west and east. Well-deserved especially to our Finals MVP Stephen Curry.

Nagawa at natapos natin to despite of all the trials and challenges.

Half time in Champions league is looking very good Villarreal and for Real Madrid if they keep this results or if they score some goals.
One goal for Bayern could change everything but I think that it's going to be much harder for Chelsea against Real.
I don't know what is your predictions for tomorrow CL matches Atletico Madrid vs Man City and Liverpool vs Benfica, but my bet is on Liverpool to win.

Unbelievable ending. I am glad I didn't watch the game which is 3AM to 5AM in my country. I actually woke up good thinking my bet on Bayern was easy money. Shocked it was marked red.Cheesy Sad ending for Bayern one of the most consistent clubs in Champions League. Kudos to the yellow submarine. Another reason for Lewandowski to leave.
3238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano on: April 13, 2022, 10:52:52 AM
I really like Katie Taylor's instagram clips of her working out and hitting the bag. Her technique, speed and conditioning would be good for a man. Much less a woman. Her comprehension of range and setups are lacking however. I think Serrano could beat her. Its hard to tell where the weight and height discrepancy is, without seeing them stand next to each other. Serrano should be the smaller athlete from the lighter weight division.

I was actually surprised when I first saw Taylor is the underdog. But later I realized that Serrano could be the favorite then. I think Katie lost in her second Persoon fight. She was busting Persoon's face in the early rounds but was clearly gassed-out and beaten in the second half. And Serrano is heavy handed with deep experience. I still end up betting on Katie though, because if the fight becomes close, superstar gets the judges nod.  Cheesy

3239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano on: April 12, 2022, 04:19:21 PM

This coming April 30, fight fans will witness a mouth-watering and the biggest fight in women's boxing. Two future hall of famers will collide in a multi-million dollar fight in the mecca of boxing, the Madison Square Garden. 7 division champion Amanda Serrano, a knockout artist from Puerto Rico will challenge the undisputed, 2 division world champion, and an Olympic gold medalist, the undefeated Katie Taylor of Ireland.

I am just so excited on this fight. This is something very big for women's boxing. Hopefully this big fight will also lead to Claressa Shields vs Savannah Marshall unification fight this year.
