3301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 And High Transaction Fees.. on: September 25, 2020, 03:15:01 PM
The thing is, if the high fee still unresolved after 2.0 and people slowly leaving eth, the high fee problem will solve itself and the fee will become normal again since there's no traffic. What we expect from ETH is to somehow come up with a solution to solve the scalability problem for mass adoption but whether ETH 2.0 gonna solve it or not one thing is for sure that ETH not gonna die.
3302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 25, 2020, 11:15:22 AM
That is true , but not 100 % true. For example people who get easy get a lot of money from UNISWAP airdrop . In cryptocurrency space we must always up to date about promising project. So , when can select between scam projects or not.
That's just 1 in 10,000 chance and only small amount of people gets the UNISWAP airdrop compared to the percentage of crypto users around the world and not gonna happen for the second time.
Most of people still trying to make money out of investing and trading but it's a lot more difficult to gain profit than losing the money so OP is pretty much on point about this as of now.
3303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain and Bitcoin adoption globally. What is the cause of the slow pace. on: September 24, 2020, 02:44:36 PM
I think the adoption is already fast enough, there are so many problem with using crypto in many countries including legality and taxes. If you see any digital payment out there they are trying to burn their money for marketing meanwhile bitcoin don't even need that and people around the world already know about it. If you want to make btc adoption faster maybe always suggest those big e-commerce platform to accept crypto like bitcoin.
3304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And this is how you make 'easy' money riding the Defi on: September 24, 2020, 01:12:47 PM
It's 2017 all over again when people are thinking that everything crypto related will be a huge success but replace word crypto with defi. I know it's fine hyping up about something but if it's to the point where even the shittiest defi project get full attention and being thrown money by these so called investor then it will become a huge mess in the future and probably become a disaster like the start of 2018 back then.
3305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: September 23, 2020, 02:04:08 PM
Crypto market is the most unpredictable platform. So my suggestion to you is before holding your crypto coin please try to understand their motto and future plan whether they are serious about their project or not. So you can sell your 75% and hold only 25% of crypto. That will be a good plan.
Sometimes future plan is as good as nothing if the people behind the project doesn't even follow that plan or these roadmaps/future plan is just there for decoration purpose.
Crypto market is indeed unpredictable and efven if you trying to understand their motto and plan it's still unpredictable because these two thing you mentioned aren't actually relevant.
If you want more relevant factor to decide whether a projet worth holding or not try to see their progess, partnership, product and so on.
3306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm scared of ethereum gas fee on: September 23, 2020, 07:06:34 AM
As long as the DeFi project still has a lot of demands, I think it's difficult to see ethereum gas fees drop (gas fee on weekends are lower than weekdays), ethereum developers should be able to fix this problem immediately.
Eventually Ethereum devs team will come up with a solution to this problem but it might be difficult, definitely take more than "immediately" and so many people also stimulating the growth of Defi projects and Dapps which uses Ethereum blockchain meaning the scalability issue will always exist even in the future ethereum upgrade. If ethereum could solve this fee issue then Ethereum itself already immune against overwhelming scalability issue.
3307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - the niche within a niche and incredibly small community on: September 22, 2020, 02:16:05 PM
That's actually true, the market of defi is too niche and actually too small. but if defi projects keep stealing the spotlight then it's not impossible for it to have bigger market in the future. but it could also be a trends that already happened in crypto and is a trend cycle where it will eventually fade away. but honestly the effort to change the traditional finance to a more trustless system which some of the defi project brought is kinda promising.
3308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it now when ethereum is down? on: September 22, 2020, 09:37:39 AM
Yeah it could be, some people might not be willing to use ethereum as of the moment due to continue rise in fees brought by the over hype for DeFi projects running on ethereum network. But the price of ethereum is significantly high compare to its price 3 months before, it doubled up actually gaining strong stand in the market right now. Wait til the upgraded version comes out and see the power of ethereum, altcoin king!
People are using ETH and providing it as liquidity for these new projects and hence the price started gaining momentum and other than that no one will be using it as the transaction charges are high and everyone is hoping that the development team will roll out their updates so that all these bottleneck issues will be sorted.
Kinda hard to imagine they solving the fee problem anytime soon. even bitcoin back then rolling out lightning network to solve transaction bottleneck problem takes a while to be effective. But I wonder how ETH gonna perform when it comes to transaction confirmation if they decide to switch to POS in the future though we can't expect it to arrive anytime soon.
3309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum fees are crazy... on: September 21, 2020, 10:26:57 PM
ETH is flooded with transaction if uniswap and all the kind of Defi services still exist i doubt the fee will go down. This points out that ethereum actually have scalability issue that need to be resolved and not really ready for mass adoption. So, in the meantime while the dev (probably) trying to figure out how to solve the crazy fee it's better to switch into using another alts because the other alts fee just so much lower than eth.
3310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT? on: September 21, 2020, 02:03:49 PM
Not safe for criminals or any illegal activities and fraud money, honestly I just trust USDT more than even BUSD and USDC, it's a matter of choice of course but definitely a bad choice for scammers, hackers and fraudsters
I think so because the stolen amount can be frozen anytime when there was a report about that, if USDT has a very bad reputation like what already accused by some people and it will never be used by a lot of people in all of crypto exchange sites.
some exchanges already have their stable assets or other stable assets that support the daily trader. The USDT may have a large market, but like binance, it has created its stable assets and is now even supported for fiat currencies.
Binance's stable coin or any other exchange's stablecoin is honestly only good at their ecosystem while USDT is the most widely accepted stablecoin till now and have existed for many years without any scam acussation.
It's just a matter of your choice and heavily depends on which exchange you decide to use.
3311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP (UNI) is driving me CRAZY!! on: September 18, 2020, 02:28:45 PM
if that's true then you are really lucky person and I wonder how much activity you've made within the UNI platform to get that much of a reward?
the aidrop is honestly really unexpected and really worth it for those who have used uniswap in the past. it's actually crazy how a project like this could give out so much money and grows so rapidly.
3312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ClipX steals KYC data and shuts down on: September 18, 2020, 07:21:10 AM
I already thought this would be a bad thing, they asked the bounty hunters to do KYC when the bounty was done. I protested and asked their group why they did that, but no one responded and I was immediately blocked
Funny because this kind of excuse is already used by so many people making bounty. asking KYC after the bounty was done I mean why don't ask it from the beginning of the campaign.

I am very surprised that bounty scams still exist today and what's worse, they had time to take data from the bounty hunter what a cruel ClipX project
they don't realize what the fate of bounty hunters will be if the data is misused of course it will harm them
Scam will always exist but to steal personal information that's crucial is simply criminal. Imagine having our passport floating around in dark web this kind of scam, should be hunted down by cyber police tbh.
3313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: usdt tether vốn thị trường phát triển từ 4, 6 tỷ đến 10.800 tỷ từ tháng on: September 17, 2020, 01:21:34 PM
I am concerned about this issue, whether the banks have enough money to guarantee the amount that tether has printed in the past. Increasing the capitalization for tether from $ 10.6 billion to $ 15 billion in 4 months is a snap. Need an audit for the tether.
well tether has mentioned about audit in their website but man that's honestly kinda unbelievable that tether market cap could grow that significantly and faster.
the fact that tether actually partner with some banks out there make it sounds reliable but public still need a lot more transparency than just that.
If tether could prove their grow as legit I think it will be better for their business and reputation.
3314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sent USDT To ETH address on Coinbase, but coinbase doesn't support usdt! Help on: September 17, 2020, 07:27:32 AM
There's no other way to retrieve it than contacting coinbase, the address is in their control but unfortunately problem like this usually ignored because, well they assume that it's the users' fault not theirs and there must be some kind of complicated process if they really able to retrieve it. Best way is as mentioned above keep contacting them and save transaction ID if they in the future accept usdt which honestly have a really small chance to be accepted there but hopefully it will.
3315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What can Ethereum be worth when the Bitcoin max supply is complete? on: September 16, 2020, 10:12:28 AM
Still far away until max supply reached but my opinion if the overall market capitalization of cryptocurrency reaching significantly in the future Ethereum value will automatically go up but only if there's no competitor that somehow could make ethereum kinda obsolete.

Bitcoin supply will last more then 100 years. But yes there will b very little left 20 years form now. I dont think 20 years is soon. Bitcoin exist 10 years. This is not an immediate problem Bitcoin have but is a long term problem that will hopefully be solved.
True since block reward becomes more fewer and fewer but it's true that bitcoin max supply will be reached far in the future.
3316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is It The Best Time to Sell Ethereum (ETH) on: September 16, 2020, 07:41:03 AM
Buying coin at the peak of its price is kinda dangerous tho and if seeing its price stats there's big chance that it will go down again. honestly it's kinda difficult decision but if you are enough with 20% whats wrong with cashing out? if you want to invest to ETH again you can make another investment another time.
I'd suggest just do what you want to do whether selling or holding so that you won't regret later and I'm telling you that doing investment in crypto is full of regrets and emotion rollercoaster.
3317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: September 15, 2020, 01:26:28 PM
Not in our time now,i use to trust Telegram groups couple years ago But when i start to understand that they are not really helpful and only functioning to Fill their interest and bags?
i stopped following they and i delete all my groups, though i still have community group of our fellow countrymen but not for anything in regards to prices speculation but only for fellowship and Projects to help others.
Telegram is now irrelevant for judging a project. So many manipulation can be done by using the smallest effort like buying bot accounts or even paying people to create fake chats. Of all things telegram is the most unaccurate if being used for choosing project. heck, even the shill are too overbearing there and filled with too much opportunist.
3318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees Rise 70% to Continue Record-breaking Streak on: September 15, 2020, 07:05:49 AM
And so will be the transaction fee, am mo longer a fan of eth to say the truth, am always upset whenever I have to pay such high fee for transaction, I really do not care about their groundbreaking stuff, they should do something about high fees if they can or make the price to dump Wink
Unfortunately that's true. It doesn't matter how great the upcoming upgrade if the fee is as ridiculous as it is today they better fix it first and deal with the other problem after that. The fee is simply ridiculous to the point where it's not worth it to send money with ETH anymore.
Situation with eth fees is already better than it was before. It will be normalized by the end of the year, i guess
Maybe but if they do nothing resolving the issue it's gonna happen again and uniswap isn't gonna go anytime soon.
3319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE GIVEAWAYS IN DISGUISE AS BINANCE on: September 14, 2020, 08:26:56 AM
These scammers are like an endless stream. you report their website right now then by tomorrow they already created 100 new fake website. In twitter they also trying to impersonate some popular figure and try to deceive people although it may not work for majority of people with logic, it seems they still trying that method of scam.
There should be an extension that blocks this kind of website embedded to the browser so that people won't fall into this scam.
3320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: September 14, 2020, 06:17:37 AM
Name doesn't really matter if it's a unique one. What should be is the team behind it and it's plan for the future. And when I say unique name is it shouldnt sound like a fake version of some other successful project.
E.g EtheNium
Well TBH there are plenty of coins that follows an already popular coin as still gain the favor of the masses although some of them might just be a blatant rip off but usually a good coin that gaining fame for a long time using a rather unique name because in this case when a coin is really serious in building their own fame they gonna use a unique name to represent their brand so that their marketing effort not go into waste.
But I do agree that following popular crypto name somehow make the coin sounds fishy and scammy instead of making it sounds better in the ear.
