Well TBH there are plenty of coins that follows an already popular coin as still gain the favor of the masses although some of them might just be a blatant rip off but usually a good coin that gaining fame for a long time using a rather unique name because in this case when a coin is really serious in building their own fame they gonna use a unique name to represent their brand so that their marketing effort not go into waste.
But I do agree that following popular crypto name somehow make the coin sounds fishy and scammy instead of making it sounds better in the ear.

It could go up to 7th rank simply because people think it's worth that much and not to mention that one of the dev is Ethereum co-founder which kinda guarantees that this project is not exist only for raising money but to bring even better innovation than ETH.
The hype builds around polkadot until now I think is enough to make us as an average joe think that this project is definitely a promising one and definitely not a scam. There are also many publications regarding this project on the net so yeah, pretty much self explanatory.

I think it's just gonna repeat the cycle like ICO and IEO but it's still an innovation nonetheless despite all the controversy. But the idea of decentralized finance itself is applicable to real world and I think it will be useful if implemented not only within the crypto market and it could revolutionize the traditional economy and finance.
But one thing that worries a lot of people is as you can see most of the defi project gets quite the pump but is that sustainable in the long run when the hype end? that's still an unanswered question.

It's a really normal thing that people couldn't get over to the idea that we gonna see something new appear and always makes fun of someone's idea. In the past crypto is always being accused of something negative from so many people. But, turns out it's the future and I'm sure in the future we gonna see something new like a more decentralized finance or any idea that sounds like absurd but turns out they are the best idea humanity ever found and surely those people who could predict that future are not those who always laughing at other people just becasue they have different idea or have an idea that's way ahead of current people's thinking.

Yeah bitcoin definitely has its own fanbase that's not gonna switch to any altcoins other than just for making profit and Ethereum too has fanbase all over the world. but, Ethereum's growing pace both in market cap and development of projects within the platform is kinda fast that it's not impossible for it to eventually overpower bitcoin in the future but whether it's gonna happen or not it's always good to have some kind of competition.
The exchanges out there also keep contributing to build up the ETH hype, kinda curious when the future unfolds and we gotta see which coin dominates.

Definitely whats in my mind these DeFi thing are just a bubble but if people could realize it and invest wisely they could make out with big profit until the market matured and become what IEO is today. Some projects are not really worth the huge sum of money people invested but people keep their eyes blind against it and still investing. Getting on the hype right now is not the best idea IMO and I'd prefer to just witness whats gonna happen in the future.

I mean his statement kinda hold truth, most of people are just jumping into defi projects without even knowing what they are getting into and as a result it's basically the ICO hype back then starting again where people just throwing money to whatever project there is. It creates a bubble and always carry the risk so people need to be wiser when it comes to investing a DeFi project and should be conscious that this investment could either turns out to be the worst or the best because no one really knows what gonna happen.

It will and have you seen the casper implementation? it was getting successful and this time for us to see the ice age implementation to determine the total supply as a part of the preparation for ethereum POS.

I have known all of the EIPs that have already included on this update and ethereum will be also scaling its blockchain up to 100k TPS which is more than enough for me personally to see that.

That's just gimmick that already created to spread the hype for DOT platform, there was no a lot of differences with the gimmick that has already made when EOS has come to the market. Many people said that will be ethereum killer but the fact said the different thing when EOS was getting surpassed by another platform like LINK or even DOT itself.

I didn't even believe about this and that is BS. Parachain looks so complicated compared with ERC20.

With the come of CEX farming and that brings more guarantee to the farmers to get the defi coins without the need to do a lot of effort or gambling through the defi coins itself. Binance has also implemented this idea and it's the first CEX farming yield. I think that more and more exchange site will be coming very soon to implement this idea too.

This way is much better than the DEX farming yield as it was getting guaranteed by exchange site.

As long as there will be a lot of good result on the development progress and it can bump to the $3 again. Im seeing that right now if DIA has already touched its bottom and a bump signal is appearing in the chart. I may predict if you have been entering on such rate and you can earn at least 25% return as soon as possible from your investment.

Yeah the volatility is crazy it feels like a pump and dump coin although the developer might not intend it to happen that way and seeing the services offered actually pretty meh because it's basically just making traditional finance more modern by automating here and there. The main worry about investing to these platform is that the risk in price volatility outweigh the profit generated by staking.

What do you expect, it's one way of many to raise awareness and they want to onboard into the DeFi hype train it's just like this in every aspect of business. That may be greedy indeed in the eyes of many people
but a failing project that has no fund raised is as good as nonexistent. Although I hope that the devs will think twice before making such transition and stick with their ideal because that's what make a project unique.

Except that will only decrease the gas fee temporarily, when people realize that the money they spend for paying the gas fee to get their transaction confirmed faster is cheaper because eth price is falling down they might increase the fee relative to what they think "enough" and then the bar will set high again for the gas fee.
The gas fee will indeed not gonna go down again anytime soon because uniswap and to be honest people who uses ETH to send money should just switch over to another altcoins.

The fee is quite hefty and definitely above average, for those who waits for the gas to decrease that's gonna be far away when uniswap doesnt come out on top of ETH25 leaderboard at ethgasstation as that means they are the one that causing ruckus and flooding with transaction in the whole eth platform. Just bear with it until we ethereum could do something to increase the scalability and capability of its blockchain network.

yeah the price is really crazy but it's reasonable considering their total supply 30K but honestly this pump is just a bubble but seeing that many recent publication in famous news site such as forbes giving such a spotlight to YFI I'm not gonna be surprised if it climbs up again though. I would definitely prefer to choose other coin though, a more reasonable ones but this coin definitely is interesting to watch LOL. but just reminder, a smooth fast pump usually ended up with smooth fast dump aswell.

Liquidity and the availability of buy demands plays major role. You don't expect the market to be overflowed with the massive selling while there's literally no one to buy the coin and thinking it will be just fine. Ofcourse, the price will be dumped so hard if the case above happens.
Sometimes, bounty hunter also need to restrain themselves from dumping the project they worked hard to promote and in this case, the project also tested whether the project has value in the eyes of people in the market or not because as you said, a good project not gonna ruined that easily.

It will just do more damage to all the investor and holder. 3 years locked when their trend is downward that's just a big NO   and I'm sure people with right mind will be angry at them though I doubt they will care about people's opinion.
Considering that even in 1 month a price of a coin could change significantly 3 years is simply insane.In my opinion you're being cheated but that's just my opinion. I think you should find anyway to get back your money otherwise you are just waiting 3 years for nothing basically waste both your money and time into something that probably just gonna makes you disappointed.
