3341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zclassic, Zcash Fork No Premine, No 20% Founders Tax on: March 25, 2018, 09:43:49 AM
Had around 800 coins which I sold days before the pump at around 2$ will be honest sorry for everyone who lost some cash on this but happy to see its down.

Proof or it didn't happen..

I don't know about him but I had an awful luck with ZCL, being BTCP my idea, given to Rhett at Slack in September/October (which he said the idea is "not needed at all"). I was 100% in ZCL from April-June 2017 to November 2017 and no one can imagine how hard I tried to convince Rhett (and other developers) for further development at Slack, Twitter, Discord. Even if you search the old posts of this thread, you'll see how hard I tried to gather community fund for Rhett for further development, but nothing worked at all, thanks to Rhett. Roll Eyes Literally, my whole 2017 spent on promoting ZCL everywhere and I ended up with a loss. I was afraid to hold more as ZCL volume at Bittrex was getting less than 2 bitcoins per day (afraid of getting ZCL de-listed from there).

Trade history still available at Bittrex.

Bitcoin massively trying to get up but bears not allowing it to do so. Still, I'd not be surprised if we start seeing Vegeta's 9000 scouter again within the next 24 hours, even though its a week-end.

I predicted this one quite well. Yesterday's buying force at $8600 was amazing...

*I'm sorry if it falls below $9000 by the time you see this!*
3344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WhatToMine profitabilty, should you mine based on this? on: March 24, 2018, 02:14:45 PM
But I thought you could mine two different currencies in Claymore. I've read that you can set the -dpool -dwal and -dpwd for one account and then -epool -ewal and epwd for the other.

You can't dual mine two coins like that "at the same time" with Claymore. The dual miner of Claymore allows you to mine light coins like Decred and Siacoin (Blake algorithms) along with Ethash (like Pirl or Ethereum) but you can't mine Nicehash and Pirl at the same time.

But remember, I'm talking about dual mining. If you want to use power of your one GPU to mine something and power of another one to mine something else, you may do this:

You can mine both using the "-di" command. What you have to do is have claymore in two directories, say one on your desktop and another in a folder that you call whatever you like. Then you set your cards using "-di 01" and in the other claymore you use "-di 23" assuming that you have 4 cards.
3345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WhatToMine profitabilty, should you mine based on this? on: March 24, 2018, 01:47:05 PM
Thanks for the replies.

Can someone explain how I can get Claymore to mine Nicehash and Pirl at the same time.

I can get Claymore to mine Nicehash using this:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool stratum+tcp://daggerhashimoto.eu.nicehash.com:3353 -ewal 3FfNX1Bw9hhi3dnJZ9ucGvR1ERu57ysYv7.worker -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -estale 0

and I can get Claymore to mine Pirl using this:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool pirl.minerpool.net:8004 -ewal 0xAdeEefFCfDe4022Dc5C3E958d175BA18b823d3de -epsw x -ethi 8 -allpools 1 -esm 0 -allcoins 1

but I cannot seem to combine these into one .bat file. I've used -dwal and -dpsw etc. but I get a socket connection error.

Is it possible to actually do what I'm trying, still learning this stuff and help is much appreciated. Smiley

No, it's not possible. You can't be mining both at the same time as far as I know. Mine any one of those, not both.
3346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WhatToMine profitabilty, should you mine based on this? on: March 24, 2018, 01:26:34 PM
I personally mine Ethereum using Claymore Ethash Miner but I've heard that NiceHash automatically switches to best profitable coin for mining and pays out through bitcoin, so why're you planning to switch?

BTW, if you don't wanna gamble with ups and downs of low-volume alts, I'd suggest you to mine some stable coins like Ethereum or Ethereum Classic instead.
3347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HUSH Secure Private Messaging and Transactions [Equihash] on: March 24, 2018, 12:12:48 PM
Looking at the chart, HUSH is definitely primed for the nest huge run. It's currently at the lowest point where no one talks about and suddenly it goes up. At a tiny $5M marketcap for a privacy coin, we could be looking at a 10x or more gains overnight when enough people hear about this project.

One more thing, its also the most profitable equihash algo coin to mine upto this day. Been Mining and Hoarding as much Hush as i can with my rigs and waiting for the price to moon. i can easily collect Upto 14Hush per day with my 40pcs 1050ti Cheesy

HUSH is not the most profitable by FAR.

BTCZ is returning $2.98 /KSol/Day
ZEC ZCash $2.66
BTG $2.65
HUSH $2.48

If you want to maximize your holdings of hush through mining, here's what I do. Mine the most profitable coin (like in your case, it's BTCZ) and then trade it for Hush. Mining Hush directly means you're wasting some good extra holdings percentage of Hush.
3348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zclassic, Zcash Fork No Premine, No 20% Founders Tax on: March 24, 2018, 11:13:43 AM
I don't touch forked coins at first place, second there was clear picture from the start that ZCL will be used for something else which is called BTCP. That was alarming situation to stay away at least when it went through the roof. Two controlled coins from the same people behind the scene were going to drop one and that was ZCL to be left in the middle of way.

One more thing, he controls more coins other than ZCL/BTCP, and not even one of all these is in active development. Cheater needs to be taught a lesson.

He is going for quite a risky strategy given that the legal environment where he is located might be tightening.

For sure.
3349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: March 23, 2018, 09:36:27 PM
i want to know, using the pow mining difficulty, approximately how many coins will I receive per hour with my 23 khashrate

Actually man, that question suits in the mining section. But actually, are you sure that you're getting only 23 kilo hash rate on ethash? Isn't it mega? If it's kilo, you shouldn't expect anything specially per hour (or even a day) as it seems like you're using an outdated hardware for mining.
3350  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 23, 2018, 09:31:49 PM
It’s definitely not over but the bounce off $8200 was unexpectedly strong.  I think that may have rocked some bears.

The optimism chart says we will break the downtrend in April.
And the financial downturn during the past two days will not affect this run up?

The correlation between financial markets and bitcoin has grown somewhat but it is still very weak.  Badger for the most part does its own thing.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/so-is-there-a-correlation-between-bitcoin-and-stock-market-yes-but-no

Doesn't look that way.  The SP500 is down 100 points in the last two days.  (That's massive, roughly equivalent to 1000 points on the Dow.)  BTC prices?  Almost no change, either up or down.

I wonder about this. IF the stock market tanks....won't folk have 'less' discretionary money to toss at BTC and cryptos? Would it not just be wash?

Yes, we're going to moon.

Is KEY now below ICO price? Anyone can advise the ICO price? Good time to enter now?

Yes, it's below ICO price. ICO price was $0.01 to $0.015 (in few stages, the price increased). I entered at 200 satoshis/2+ cents price and thought that it can't get better, but it did. Right now it's 102 satoshis & less than a cent, and I don't think so that it can get better than this at all. The alpha wallet (includes a lot of stuff like the marketplace) is planned to come out by the end of this month.

DYOR but IMO, it's the best time to enter in it and it can't get better.
3353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: March 23, 2018, 06:04:57 PM
I think there's a simple reason for that. In crypto, you lose or gain like 10 times faster than in forex. None of the trades anywhere can bring you guaranteed profit, but it feels better if the output comes faster, which happens in crypto.
3354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What to mine next? on: March 22, 2018, 08:50:54 PM
Mining something which you feel is a hidden gem is NOT the thing from which you can maximize your profits. Instead, use whattomine.com to find out what's the most profitable to mine right now and then once you mine a bit of it, you can use that to buy that hidden gem (instead of directly mining it with less profitability). That's what I do and it goes out just fine.

If it goes down people comment like 'fuck yeah bitcoin go bitcoin go!'.
The the minute it goes down it is like 'death cross shit, $100 coins in a few months, you are ALL fucked'. Note the 'you'.

At first I came here looking for wisdom and holy grail insider stuff.
Now its more fun and laughter because we all know NADA.

potential, this one has

Another... "experienced" post by a pure newbie. Something's definitely up with newbies these days.
3356  Other / Meta / A number of newbie accounts being made with good-knowledge posts? on: March 22, 2018, 02:45:58 PM
This seems strange to me. Since the merit system has been introduced, the forums (or at least I) have been witnessing a number of newbie accounts with some great knowledge posts. Some sound like they've been around for years, and it's something interesting that they've a recently created account.

In simple words, it smells like a surge in multiple accounts to me. Roll Eyes

Q) I held a few bitcoins from September 2016 to April 2017 in an address which is empty now (unfortunately, I cashed them all out at rate of $800 or something). However, I was just wondering if there has been any airdrop or fork within that time period which I can extract now? I of course still carry the public/private keys. I see Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold came out afterwords, so they don't exist as balances in my those addresses, and I was just wondering if there has been some other similar fork/airdrop as well which I can cash out now.

+1 merit for the one who can help.

Nope as far as i remember the first ever airdrop occurred was on 01-08-2017 which was bitcoin cash
If you want you can check this thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2836875.msg29086309#msg29086309 he can help you with this one

Alright, thanks a lot, merit coming up for ya! That completely answers what I asked!

---All my questions closed now, someone else may ask something but I don't require any further response!---

You folk are getting a bit too exuberant and need to settle the fuck down.  We have 3 green dailies that’s all.  Go back to being miserable.

What are you talking about?! We had a triple top on the page count at 20k and still blew through it!
