Ich finde das lächerlich und dem Forum(-Niveau) hier unwürdig. Ich bitte Dich wirklich mal ernsthaft nachzudenken, ob Du sowas posten musst. Das ist so dämlich, das ist nicht mal mehr lustig. Ich bin mir sicher, Bitcoins sind noch ein sehr langer Marathon.

Dazu muß man mal wissen, wie die Geldmengenausweitung in unserem Geldsystem funktioniert: Jede Geschäftsbank weitet die Geldmenge aus, wenn sie einen Kredit vergibt. Es ist nicht so, dass die Bank die Einlagen der Kunden verwendet, um diese dann zu verleihen. Die Sparquote ist völlig egal. Die Bank kann durch die Kreditvergabe Geld (Giralgeld) schöpfen. Alles was sie dazu braucht, ist eine Mindestreserve bei der EZB. Diese Mindestreserve beträgt 1% von der Kreditsumme. Die Bank hat also die Möglichkeit um den Faktor 100 zu hebeln.

Gute Entwicklungen brauchen Zeit. Das zu kritisieren finde ich ziemlich unsinnig. Es ist doch eher so: Diese ganzen Altcoins, die nach 2 Monaten "Entwicklung" auf den Markt geschmissen werden, kann man alle in der Pfeife rauchen.
Du hälst Bitcoin also für so gut, dass es grundsätzlich unnötig ist, an neuen Technologien zu forschen?

Das ist richtig. Das weiß jeder und sieht auch jeder kritisch. Die Frage ist, lohnen sich die Energie-Kosten, vs. anderen Konsensmechanismen, hinsichtlich der ggf. höheren Sicherheit? Das werden wir sehen. Bitcoin hat durch proof-of-work einen hohen Energieverbauch. Sollte sich herausstellen, dass NEMs proof-of-importance funktioniert (das wird nur die Zeit zeigen...), haben wir den ersten brauchbaren alternativen Konsensmechanismus.
Hier hab ich eine Frage. Sollte man nicht mathematisch beweisen können, dass PoI funktioniert? Ich bin nun nicht der größte theoretische Informatiker. Aber mein gefährliches Halbwissen sagt mir, dies müsste/sollte machbar sein. --> Frage(n): Hat einen mathematischen Beweis (für PoI) niemand probiert bis jetzt? Oder meinst Du mit "funktionieren", ob man in Praxi PoI so zum laufen und fehlerfrei bekommt, wie man geplant (berechnet?/bewiesen?) hat? Die Webarchitektur (nur NCC lokal betreiben - also keine blockchain runterladen - und dann zu irgendeinem Knotenpunkt (NIS) im p2p Netzwerk verbinden und völlig risikofrei alles tun...) ist ein weiterer Punkt, den ich ziemlich überzeugend finde. Möchte ich das mit Bitcoin machen, kann ich mich nur auf irgendwelche zentralisierten Servies verlassen...
Hier liegt ein Irrtum vor. Das "normale" Thin-Client Bitcoin-Sicherheitsmodell benötigt keine zentralisierten Services. Ein "SPV"-Client (wie zB. Multibit) im ["Normalen"|Offziellen|Standard] Bitcoin-Sicherheitsmodell kann mit jedem Full Node (trustless) kommunizieren. MultiBit (ehemals der offz. empfohle Bitcoin Thin Client) braucht zB. nur 2 bis 3 MB Downstream/Diskspace (für Blockheader, Checksummen, etc.) und ist dann schon voll nutzbar. Electrum wiederrum benötigt tatsächlich spezielle Electrum-Server. Allerdings ist auch deren Modell trustless und releativ dezentral. Gibt/gab ja zumindest mal einige Electrum-Server (50?) von relativ vertrauenswürdigen Betreibern. Ausserdem kann/könnte ja auch jeder seinen eigenen Electrum-Server fahren. More direct Fiat/XMR exchange would help move XMR out of the whole "altcoin" space into that of a more "independent" currency.
Contact https://www.litebit.eu/ and tell them to add XMR. They sell altcoins for fiat. [Should be possible to get Monero added there. a) They have non Bitcoin codebases coins & b) there requirements for coins to be added seams to be low. As some small & uninnovative, are traded there.] |

Obvious, I may misread Cryptoslaves posting. To me it sounded like the node communications changes are so big, that they alone also need a/would be a hardfork.
Relaunch because it looks to me (from this thread), that the distribution is so bad, that it hinders adoption/community growth. Judging from (the activity in) this thread, there cant be more then 15 people that hold significant amounts of ANC and want to develope an vivid ANC ecosystem.

I meant it this way: if DarkCoin crashes now to (basically) zero.
We have to give up (todays long-term) sub-goals like:
- getting to 50% DarkCoin marketcap
- getting to 66% DarkCoin marketcap
- getting to 80% DarkCoin marketcap
- getting to 100% DarkCoin marketcap
Because they wont matter anymore. We would need to find new goals/target marks.

Dash will get VC investment and retail use that Darkcoin never will.
- Doge got VC multiple investments with a similar non-corporate, non-super-serious name/brand/image. (and no real world use case) - Alot of VC funded crypto currency startups process DarkCoin already (e.g. CEX.io, Bitfinex). --> I don't think DarkCoin-related projects/startups couldn't VC get funding. (Remember DarkCoin was a strong, widely known [from TV coverage] brand.) But I get your main point. I just wanted to say it would not have been impossible. Problem with the renaming is, its not very powerful. The new name is dull. |
