It's pretty funny that some people really think "BCX" is some kind of expert or an respected authority, like Maxwell, Back or Atlas.

He is just an random poster with an abnormal bad history of failures during his "audit work" or whatever he is calling this scammy act, he is performing on this board. Just click on his profiles and open the threads he started. His success speaks for itself. ;)

It's well established, that he is an (advanced) con artist and not IT or crypto-currency expert of any kind. He earns from blackmailing projects (coins, exchanges and pools) and socializing donations.

If you to wan't get respected as pro or some kind of "coin authority", than you have to act professional and disclose, when you do get payed working against (legitmate) coins/projects. (It's a question of credibility & fairness ...) Thank you.

And BTW, if some crypto-currency newbs may fall for it & loose some bucks, they will learn a solid lesson from it. (The earlier you get ripped/scammed, the sooner you tighten security.)
Newbies get ripped/scammed in most (IT) "scenes", sub-cultures or mass movements. It's bad, but it's not a major problem.

Litecoin is the "Roman empire" of cryptos. They community really think they stay biggest altcoin forever. Just because of their history and some good numbers (in ratings/scorings) they still have, because the project is so old and once was seen as promising by the general CC scene, before the project failed and became inactive.
They think they are "to big to fail". Because obvious ALL altcoins are inferior to LTC, because LTC has this $200.000.000 market cap or 200 more full nodes vs. DogeCoin. Real-life comedy.

Maybe Balduro was taken out by an intelligence service.

Balduro really made the impression of someone, who really stands behind his project and is going to work for it. The time he was with us, he did alot of work and didnt scammed, so he wasnt motivated by money $$$ or his ego ("getting fame/media time").
He really made an honest impression. So why would he leave voluntary?

It's pretty obvious that Boolberrys biggest problem is, it has no team.
It's just one good coder and a marketing guy. I really give respect for there good work.
But its the truth, there is no long term success without forming a team.
"One-Man-Shows" in any business or (coding) project will always stay an amateurish level and have the great risk, of failing if this one man cant deliver anymore.

Its eg. just impossible even for an coding god (maybe e.g zoidberg of BoolBerry project) to outform an team of professional acting 7 or more good to very good coders (objective example Monero team).

I think there is no room, for an illegal coin and an "legit privacy" coin.
And experience   shows in IT, when its about privacy/security, there is no split between "legit" and "illlegal" users or services.
E-Mail-Encryption e.g is to 99% done with PGP, by legit and illegal users, there no two solutions.
Disk-Encryption e.g. TrueCrypt is the leading standard software, with 90% market share and its used legit and illegal users, there no two solutions.
There is only dominanting "Dark Net"/"Dark Web" (with an active scene) on the internet, with TOR and not two big ones, one for legit users and one for criminals.

Or just look at IT-security: good guys (IT-Sec consultants) and bad guys (hackers) use the same pen-testing/hacking-tools.
Another example: are Bitcoin-Mixers, which are used users from both "sides".

So for me it's obvious: there will be only one big active privacy coin, with enough users, eco-system and developers.

It's pretty simple: If DarkCoin becomes the long term preferred coin for unlawful trades (Drugs, Guns, CP) on the Dark Web. It will be 50x till 300x of the value today.

If it wont, DRK will be worthless, like other failed coins. The project most likely dies or finds  small niche, were it can survive with its own small scene/use cases then.

The project would die, as everybody would be turning to supporting the preffered Dark Web coin. Who knows which coin that will be.

This is not DRK-specific, all anon coins would die or be semi-dead (without the winning one) by then. As it is pretty obvious that there is only room, for one privacy crypto-currency to establish an healthy community and eco-system, so the coin can survive mid-term/long-term.

The #1 coin for illegal trade, will 100% also be the #1 coin for legitimate private crypto-currency usage. Because of network effects for eg.

Was ich ausdrücken möchte ist:
Unsere Wirtschafts- und Gesellschaftsordnung lautet: "Kapitalismus". In diesem tollen System ist überhaupt gar nichts fair verteilt, weder Sparguthaben, Grundbesitz, Rohstoffe, Arbeit, Produktionsmittel, noch Zugang zu XXX, YYY, ZZZ usw. Ihr wisst, dass doch alle selber.

Selbst ein nur theoretisch mögliche, perfekte faire Distribution einer Crypto-Currency, verhindert nicht, dass mittelfristig sich wieder, sehr große Vermögen bei denen/der Klasse konzentrieren, die heute schon vermögend ist.

Das ist ja system-inhärent im Kapitalismus. Es lohnt sich daher nicht diesbzgl. irgendwelche seitenlangen Abhandlungen hier im Forum zu schreiben. Der langfristige Erfolg von Crypto-Currencies wird ganz sicher nicht davon abhängig sein.
Weil diese "Unfairness" in der Verteilung, jede existente Währung (FIAT, Crypto-Currencies, ...) oder Wertgegenstands-Klasse (Gold, Unternehmensanteile, Patente, Rechte, Grundbesitz, ...) aufweist.
(Kein Negativ-Argument gegen Cryptos.)

OPEN NAME SYSTEM:

DNS mit Namecoin-Blockchain

Das Open Name System möchte das klassische Domain Name System der ICANN um eine Blockchain erweitern, was das System resistenter gegenüber Ausfällen und Zensur macht. Für den Code greift das Team auf Namecoin zurück.
Hundertprozentige Abwärtskompatibilität zu dem Domain Name System (DNS) der ICANN verspricht das Open-Name-System-Protokoll (ONS), was dadurch erreicht wird, dass das DNS einfach um die Verwendung einer Blockchain erweitert wird. Letzteres bezeichnet eine Art Datenbank, in der Informationen gespeichert und über ein Peer-to-Peer-Netzwerk verteilt und aktuell gehalten werden.

Dieses Konzept wird etwa in Bitcoin verwendet, um die Liste der Transaktionen zu verzeichnen. Die Technik kann und wird aber auch für andere Zwecke genutzt. Das wiederum macht sich das ONS-Projekt zu Nutze und setzt Namecoin als Key-Value-Store für die Domain-Informationen ein. Mit ONS sollen die Registrierung und die Auflösung sowohl von Benutzern als auch Domains in der Blockchain möglich sein. Das macht die Technik zu einer dezentralen Alternative zu dem von der ICANN als oberstem Gremium kontrollierten DNS.

Informationen zu einem Nutzer, wie etwa der Name, Kontaktmöglichkeiten oder auch der öffentliche GPG-Schlüssel, werden über ein standardisiertes Schema als JSON-Objekt gespeichert. Die Software zur Unterstützung von Blockchain-Domains in ONS fehlt bisher aber noch völlig. Eigenen Aussagen zufolge möchte sich das Team zunächst darauf konzentrieren, die Nutzerverwaltung über die Blockchain richtig umzusetzen.

Über das in Python geschriebene Kommandozeilenwerkzeug Opendig, das ähnlich wie das bekannte Dig funktionieren soll, können Daten von Nutzern in der Blockchain ebenso wie Standard-Domains bereits aufgelöst werden. Theoretisch könne das Konzept von ONS auf alle möglichen verteilten Key-Value-Stores angewendet werden, das Team entschied sich aber für das nach ihrer Meinung am weitesten verbreitete zur Verwaltung von Nutzerinformation in einem Namensraum, und das sei eben die Namecoin-Blockchain.
