341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conclusion after losing millions! that games are rigged. on: November 22, 2023, 08:27:07 PM
hey guys,
I was watching this video, where a popular twitch streamer who used to gamble and stream on twitch, had betted millions on slots and on online casino and losing till now.
watch and listen that video he tells why he thinks slots is rigged, the games are not random as the website shows. if you will see his more videos you will understand why is think like that.
I think he just talked about slots, but I also think games that are told provably fair by casinos are rigged in someway.

what do you think about this? are games which are played by computers are rigged? don't answer like we play for fun, we are responsible, we are bitcoiner we know to verify bets, etc.
Finally one honest twitch streamer. Obviously, he lost because he is an independent streamer without ties or sponsorship to the casino. And he was able to give his honest review about them. Assuming that he was being sponsored, he first would not have lost because the casino would want a good rep from someone with high number of followers. Anyways I wouldn't conclude that he is right for now until other people checks it out and have the same report.
342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: November 22, 2023, 08:14:21 PM
There were times when I gamble too much. Maybe much more than I did now due to boredom or was trying to escape a difficult time. I was this close to being dependent on gambling. I knew I was already spending so much time gambling but didn't know it was that bad until it was pointed out my best friend. He saved me. If you are going through a tough time, it may be difficult to talk to someone about it especially it you are trying to be a man. However you must talk to someone to save yourself from self-destructive habits.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: November 21, 2023, 11:43:56 PM
among other numerous altcoins are among those that have recorded ATH recently even as BTC struggle to hold up the $36,500 resistance

There's more strategy and technique required to making lots of money in altcoins because your timkmg had to be right from buy to sales of the  altcoins so that you can  cash out and invest that money into Bitcoin.

345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Argentina Be The Next El Salvador To Accept Bitcoin As Legal Tender? on: November 21, 2023, 07:14:28 PM
If Argentina eventually makes Bitcoin a legal tender then it will send a strong message to the countries in the south-American region as well as their politicians before and during elections. Sincerely wishing that Javier Milley will not do what politicians do after they clenched the victory. If he eventually follows through on his campaign promises, Argentina may most likely be the next bitcoin destination for bitcoiners.
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When does the moment come when the gambler loses control? on: November 21, 2023, 04:24:07 PM
But I believe that the greatest dependence on gambling appears at the moment of loss, when the player admits in his head the idea that he could earn so much. He is disappointed, but wants to recoup. It is at this moment that the desire comes to play again and again in order to return to the previous state.

What do you think about it?
The moment of loss is when the addiction to gambling begins to show if not controlled. At this point the gambler will easily tell a lie so that someone can loan money to them. At the back of their mind, the only to repay the loan will be after they have doubled and recover their loss.

If you ask many gamblers at what point did they struggle to stop gambling to prevent too much gambling, if they are truthful, they will tell you that it was during the moment of loss. That is where the real struggle is because they have lost and are disappointed and pained and they are looking for closure. And they think the closure they'll get is through gambling again or more.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You At Any Point In Time Blame Who Taught Or Led You To Gambling? on: November 21, 2023, 03:24:04 PM
Nobody deserves to be blame for anyone going into gambling. I know that we cannot downplay the role of peer pressure here but then we should be pressured into doing something that we are not comfortable with doing because we want to fit in. On so many occasions, I have turned down invitations to join friends to the casino because at that point in time I knew that I should be gambling. Maturity demands that we hold ourselves accountable for our actions. On the other hand we only blame when there is a loss. I don't think we praise or commend those who led us to gambling if any whenever we are having a winning streak.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamer wins seem too good on: November 20, 2023, 09:25:22 PM
The thing is, that these streamers get big wins so often that it seems very unlikely for their streaks to be happening at random.
Whenever I have the time to watch these streamers, I tell myself in comfort that this is more than just luck. Yes it is more than just some random luck coming in to play. What is it that if the average person plays the slot they hardly win as much as the streamer does? It smells fishy. These streamers are promoting the casinos so it is only right that they make them win to given a good PR a lost is bad for the business and they wouldn't want that. The real question is that do these streamers actually cash out their winnings or it is just for show?

350  Economy / Economics / Re: When Was the Last Time you Came Across a Positive Economic News? on: November 20, 2023, 07:49:48 PM
Like they used to say bad news sell very fast and I'll add that it is very profitable and very exciting. Good news on the other hand is boring and less exciting. It doesn't add profit, This is why we see that CNN, BBC, Aljazeera and others will discuss housing scarcity for weeks inviting analyst from university professors all over world. The last time I heard some good economic news was like forever, we are used it and are no longer bothered.
351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you pay for signals? And how much ? on: November 20, 2023, 07:05:55 PM
Dlyou pay for signals? And how much ?
What's your monthly expenses for trading signals? Yearly?
I don't pay but i read alot people pay for signals so how good results If this ?
Even though I don't trade often, I am very much against paying for trading signals. Instead of paying for signals, get a successful trading mentor, this will give you access to their signals to achieve wealth. Also, instead of paying for signals, learn the basics of trading, including opening and closing trades, setting profit and stop-loss, risk management, and understanding analysis techniques.
352  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Landfill methane to mine Bitcoin on: November 20, 2023, 06:25:21 PM
Last year, there was a White House report that acknowledged the potential positive impact of crypto mining operations, especially those capturing vented methane to produce electricity. Also, it was sometime in 2021 when ExxonMobil launched a pilot project, the goal was to mine Bitcoin in North Dakota's Bakken oil fields with all their surplus coal seam gas. The way they wanted to do it was instead of sending leftover gas up a stack and flared to  atmosphere, they re-routed the hydrocarbons to a gas turbine connected to a bank of mining rigs. There was also a plan to do the same thing in other countries like Argentina, Nigeria.

353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Late To Invest In Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2023, 05:49:14 PM
I'm so pathetic and depressed because I didn't know Bitcoin quickly. What should I do? Cry
I don't think it's ever too late to invest in bitcoin. Sure, there may be some pullbacks, but if you're in it for the long term, it will always go up and pay off. What I always say to my family members is that I don't think bitcoin is going to make me wealthy or rich, I am just out here trying to preserve my money in to the future with out getting this hidden tax that is inflation.  We just have to accept it as getting poor and poor whilst working harder and harder then ever before.

356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ? on: November 16, 2023, 11:55:30 PM
What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.
I don't know where you got your stats from but I can tell that there are more bitcoin Holders who gamble. Gambling can be a more enjoyable thing using crypto. Everyone who gambles on this forum have Bitcoin or uses cryptocurrencies however not everyone one on the forum gambles despite having Bitcoin.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How discipline are you in managing your bankroll? on: November 16, 2023, 08:51:48 PM
To me one of the most important things to do to stick to one's bankroll plan is to set a realistic expectation on one's wins. While it is not completely the same, I can relate to the feeling of getting pushed by greed further and increase the wager beyond the planned budget. It did not end for the that time rolling dices.

I would also say that a relatively good measure to stick to one's budget is not having all the bulk of one's money deposited on the casino at the same time, not even in the "trunk" or "chest" of one's account.  Even if takes more time and can be annoying, if one does not have much control, then only deposit what you are willing to put at risk that day.
The key strategy is to divide the bankroll into units, with a unit representing a specific percentage of the total bankroll that is wagered per bet. Use 1% to 3% of the bankroll per bet based on your risk tolerance. To show discipline as a bettor which is the harbinger of better profit, you must ensure to maintain consistency in the chosen unit size, regardless of odds or circumstances.

I see what you did there mate.

You gotta relax...see all these not so good comments about you which may or may not be true can be actually demoralizing.
If you do not want them coming at you like this again, take heed to what most of them have pointed out in their replies, it will go a long way to in helping you become a better member of the community.

No more OPs for now. Okay?
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not all educated are educated. on: November 16, 2023, 07:41:11 PM
If you look at this closely, you would see that Swan is not the problem. First they are a bitcoin-only company so they cannot possible be against bitcoin the reason for their directive is just in compliance with the banking partners internal policies which they have no control over whatsoever. To avoid getting your account backlisted if you have an account with them, any you want to deposit directly from or withdraw directly simply do a couple hops before you do this. You send it from one Bitcoin address to another and you do that maybe two three four times and then do the mixing if that's what you want to do. That way, Swan can't shut down your account.
360  Bitcoin / Mining / Milestone: First Bitcoin Mining Facility in Ethiopia on: November 16, 2023, 06:58:52 PM
The first of everything needs to be celebrated. It is a little win for the people of Ethiopia but it isn't not the last. Today on X, this user, @KalKassa share pictures as they toured the site and substation for Ethiopia's first bitcoin mining facility. From what I understand, it is a project supported by GAMA - Green Africa Mining Alliance.

Witnessing Bitcoin and its influence reach unprecedented milestones consistently brings me joy. What are your thoughts on this development?
