341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A positive evaluation of gambling. on: November 18, 2021, 08:17:58 PM
Bearing losses has been developed in me when I became a long time gambler who moulded his attitude in such a way that losses don't put me down anymore and I learn from my mistakes, write them down and try not to repeat them again. Gamblers who spend a lot of time gambling do understand the fact that be it their day or not, learning something new and being entertained from their gambling activities should be their main motive.
342  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price now on: November 18, 2021, 06:56:30 PM
The time is the best for futures traders, it's not good yet for the spot guys who'd like to get an entry from where they can make better profits. I'm still waiting for BTC's weekly close before we can say anything on its position, because if it holds $56k while suffering from this "not bad" dump and ends up above that level after weekly close, it'll not go down deep to levels where people are thinking about. Though, I doubt it'll hold it, because of this - https://www.pcmag.com/news/us-department-of-justice-is-selling-56m-worth-of-bitcoin
343  Other / Meta / Re: Can a permanent ban be reconsidered on: November 18, 2021, 06:43:38 PM
Even if it gets reconsidered, how high do you think are the chances going to be for the person to get unbanned any time later or maybe immediately? That specific case needs to be super strong to challenge the judgement of admins and/or global moderators.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: November 18, 2021, 06:19:46 PM
I'd advice anyone to use credit cards only when they are in their worst emergency or need immediate money for any important purposes. Other than that, thinking of it as a toy to meet your anytime needs is stupid because once expenses are occurred as well as interest gets charged, you'll then be stuck in such a mess you won't be able to come out easily from.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Wash Trading - Concerns? on: November 18, 2021, 05:45:16 PM
Wow, this is what I was much more interested in learning about, since I participated in a coin's trading contest at Binance.

For those who don't know, wash trading is where a trader usually sells at his own buy orders to generate fake trades in markets.

Binance itself claims to be the only exchange that counters wash trading as it is deemed to be illegal everywhere and says that they are against it and won't allow it at any cost. But I believe that they too involve this type of trading, else how do they manage to maintain that huge volume on a daily basis?

P.S.: I'd like to know that if I simply buy and sell (not do like I said above), will it be considered as wash trading?
346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Recent Drop Below $60K Is Not Worrisome, Analyst Says on: November 17, 2021, 11:30:27 PM
I have been saying it since a long time, Even if bitcoin drops below 10k usd it will recover back in a year easily but looking at the market now it's rare if bitcoin drop below 30k.

Bitcoin's popularity is only going to rise and children in schools, universities will know about it and will be curious to pay in bitcoin thus raising the bitcoin's users and market cap, thus higher price.
The real-time usage of bitcoin in daily life have been increasing with time. We don't know how far this happens with the third world countries, but grown country people are much aware and are getting used to it. As said the future generation will know much about cryptocurrencies and they'll intend to spend. This keeps the market high through regular usage.

If you see the market like an investor, you'll always take it positively but, with a hawk eye and doing X-Ray kinda brief analysis, you'll see the real picture. I'm very happy with the recent dump because it helped so many investors to jump on BTC without the fear of buying at the top. Though, as there are news about date for MT Gox funds release also getting nearer day by day, fear is taking over. Stay calm till that date and buy everything you can after DYOR so not to leave any opportunity.
347  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Bitcoin Blackjack ♦️ Bitjack - Redeem your code for 0.0001 Bitcoins on: November 13, 2021, 09:32:14 PM

1 Bit = 100 Satoshis
So in this case, 100 Bits being the max bet was worth 10k Satoshis (BTC0.0001) bet and 3k Bits was his website's entire bankroll = 3,00,000 Satoshis (BTC0.003)
I was amazed to see how a person can promote his website without complete details about his bonus promo (didn't tell in OP that it was a one-time-use code) and then came the bankroll size which was a joke. He must have told us that he is "testing" his site's vulnerabilities and exploits before launching fully or who knows if he's got that 3k bits only in the website's bankroll!  Embarrassed
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to invest money? on: November 13, 2021, 09:06:27 PM
For people from some developing countries, $1000 a month is a really big deal and they can't really "save" it. However, saving $100 a month but to increase it by doing an SIP (Systematic Investment Plan as we call it here) is not just possible, but can also bring the possibilities of growing our portfolio while being an investor for specific projects on which we are bullish for long term.
Yeah.

That amount is quite high and even $100 and increasing it monthly is hard to do. Even it's one of the best ways to increase your money as you invest.

It's just hard to follow that ideal strategy because we just can't do it.

TBH, be it about saving and investing $100 or $1000, such things are only possible with spare money as the only money which we don't give a damn about, we can invest in crypto or take anything you believe can grow your capital, because risks are everywhere when we "invest" in something and if OP believes he can save $1k and invest, then he must prepare himself for all the consequences that may arise if his investment portfolio gets dragged down so badly due to price crashes and whatnot. If he's got the appetite of forgetting about his $1k for a very long time and remain patient with the SIPs and keep doing it on a regular basis, such guy will become a very successful investor in not a very long time.

350  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Bitcoin Blackjack ♦️ Bitjack - Redeem your code for 0.0001 Bitcoins on: November 13, 2021, 05:45:04 PM
Yes it's a code for a single person, The bankroll was around 3000 bits, I've lost most of it  Embarrassed, there is a vulnerability, the max bet is just 100 bits, but the people hacked it to bet more.
The account can be a nice addition maybe the two options can live together. thanks for you feedback  Smiley

Are you freakin' kidding us?
You should have mentioned that it's a one-time-only usable code and can be redeemed by one person only. However, after knowing your bankroll, I now know the reputation of your website and I'd suggest you to prepare it with a much bigger bankroll before you start to promote it as 3000 bits and a max bet of 100 bits is nothing and a gambler can win that much in a single bet if you increase the max bet to 3k bits itself.
351  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Bitcoin Blackjack ♦️ Bitjack - Redeem your code for 0.0001 Bitcoins on: November 13, 2021, 01:26:29 PM
So the code doesn't work at all and I believe that either it was for limited accounts or was it for a single person and you'll be giving us more promo codes each in order to try out the website? BTW, what's the bankroll of the website if you don't mind sharing it? And I'm totally fine with creating an account at your website because we don't have those satoshidice kinda websites anymore where we need to store our URL to play ahead. I fear of losing the URL as well as my funds too, so please make signing up available on your website.
352  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Bitcoin Wallet about to Launch With Full banking services. on: November 13, 2021, 12:41:13 PM

The wallet is custodial, private keys are held in HSMs by our institutional custodian. We are working in a self / shared custody model but we will not sacrifice user experience and being able to offer the best products to our users for the sake of pursuing ‘purest’ Bitcoin hopes.

Till your services are live, all your claims are just "to-be-happening airbubbles" and why would anyone trust your "custodial" wallet when we already have so many alternatives available with us?

What I mean by that is that we will never allow a user to lose access to their funds by 'forgetting or losing their password for example.

What's the guarantee that the funds will be safe in your company's wallet?

Our code is not open source currently but we may do so at some point.

That's a red flag, it must be open source so to check if everything's okay with the wallet or not?
353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you get info about upcoming listings? on: November 13, 2021, 12:04:57 PM
It's next to impossible to know anything about a particular coin even launching, before some officials break the news under their official announcements. So, knowing listing news on a specific exchange before the news break out is not possible too unless you have an insider friend from an exchange (like one of the board members, directors or even high end mods) who give the news even before anything is confirmed and only talks are going on. But TBH, there are many signs you can guess that a specific token is going to get listed on an exchange if you see any combined activity of both of them (say for example, Binance recently talked about creating their first ever Metaverse through a virtual office on Bloktopia which shows that Blok may get listed soon at Binance).
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can $SOL rise to $1000? on: November 12, 2021, 08:16:10 PM
--snip--
I think that there's a possibility that it can go near to $1k but not at the exact price. But who knows what's the limitation of this bull run. Because if it keeps going, then we may see $500 and it could be the highest.

That's right, no one knows exactly till where will this bull run be stretched and its moonshot levels be called off, but one thing is for sure that as there are hell lot of projects coming over Solana Blockchain, it is going to see a boost in its price. I'm still waiting to see it breaking $300 barrier before entering a new territory to create new highs. Till then, I won't say I believe that it'll stretch itself over $1k, but $300 and $350 are my real time targets that will be achieved for sure.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sky Vegas could face legal action due to promotional emails on: November 12, 2021, 07:21:32 PM
That's what needs to be done with such casinos that send unsolicited emails even after opting out of them because then, they are not only encouraging spam but also breaching their own ToS by sending such promotional emails that are unexpected by the struggling gamblers. Gamblers who were an addict but are trying to overcome from their addiction get lured by such promotions and can't really stop themselves from gambling again, which could result in losses as well as even more loss of concentration towards other things IRL.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El salvadore and btc on: November 12, 2021, 07:04:55 PM
Tether is being called as a huge scam which will bust some day soon but BTC is a very different thing. Just because USDT is pegged to 1 USD per coin doesn't mean banks will start accepting it as a payment method and announce it as legal tender. There are various procedures which such stablecoins need to pass to become a country's own digital coin. Bitcoin can be called Gold but it's even better TBH and El Salvador knew what they did and they're also buying more and more BTC to boost the adoption there. I can understand why you said that BTC can't be accepted as a way to store money, but that's what BTC was made for and it's not inflating anything but increasing the value of El Salvador itself.
357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good book to learn how to trade. on: November 12, 2021, 06:20:56 PM
Please follow forex related YouTube channels (I follow ICT nowadays) and learn from them about the tactics used to make more profits instead of losses. Though, I'd like to let you know that the best book to learn trading is not from someone else's mind because they follow their self-made strategy or someone else's and write it down, but that best book is you, your own mind which helps you to learn from the smallest to biggest mistakes as well as what you do extremely well that you believe others can't.
358  Economy / Speculation / Re: New All Time High Baby! - $68,742.31 on: November 12, 2021, 05:31:45 PM
$69k was the recent ATH for BTC and I still believe it has the potential left for this year though it won't be seen during November, but December because all this has happened during the previous bull runs that corrections took place before going very high and then crashed. I don't know about crash (history may repeat though possibilities are less) but there is a chance BTC extends its bull run even in 2022 due to so many important factors taking place this year and in the beginning of 2022.
359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: About Crypto.com on: November 12, 2021, 03:49:13 PM
I had an account on crypto.com and I've been watching NFTs trending at their platform too. I've not used them to exchange anything but they've got a considerable userbase which is an advantage for any exchange. I also saw their recent promotion of mailing their users with $1k as a gift in BTC, nice way to market their exchange. I don't know whether they'll become a large exchange or not, but they are definitely holding a name amongst many exchanges available.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk accidentally created a new cryptocurrency. WTF? on: November 11, 2021, 05:19:28 PM
Positive news for those who like to follow Elon Musk's trend. But it's also a disaster for the clueless about Elon Musk's trend. Elon Musk is changing fast with his own coin. If the layman was definitely stuck and Elon Musk wouldn't care about that. After what happened about Elon Musk manipulating the price of bitcoin he wanted to create his own token. It's amazing if it's just to be manipulated.

Elon Musk just having fun in Twitter and who wants to make fast money simply create new tokens after his tweets. soon every word in Musk's tweets can be a new token )

Exactly, almost all the tokens that used the name "Safe", "Shiba", "Doge" went high so hard they created new millionaires
while coins with ADA and BNB rewards also gave temporary profits to its users and nowadays "Meta" have shown the same response for investors. I believe that shitcoins and memecoins also have their trend ongoing but nobody knows till where will they rally and what outcome will there be. For example, many tokens with good tokenomics (even better than Shib) ended in huge losses for their investors while Shib has become one of the top 20 coins ATM.
